Thumbs up for KLM crew, planes and Schiphol Airport, though short on staff and a little late everything went smooth, including the flight.

Travelling from Nigeria was a nightmare. Those thugs at the airport gave my husband and i hell because we had our boarding passes on our phone. We had to keep bribing and begging them to let us through. It is the worse travel experience I’ve ever ever had in my entire life. And I travel a lot

wow those shitty services… I would be ashamed to work for blue air. here are 11 reasons why blue air is a mockery: 1. They sent me six emails (SIX. 6) from the moment I bought the tickets until the departure day, announcing flight departure modification times. let that sink in; 6 messages announcing new hours. 2. this morning‘s flight from Chania lasted 20 minutes more than previously announced and than the Bucharest to Chania flight one week ago. 3. my entire row was not asked whether we needed anything from the shopping cart. as a result, I approached a steward later on and he said I should go by myself (?!?!!!😂🤦🏼‍♀️) to pick up what I wanted from the back of the plane, but that I should hurry because we would be landing in 55 minutes😂😂. we obviously didn’t🤦🏼‍♀️ and apparently he was also very sure I would not be able to finish my water in that amount of time🥹. The plane wasn’t full and the cabin crew consisted of four persons. I am absolutely positive that had they been working for a different airline on a higher pay, they wouldn’t have made me do their job myself lol. 4. another interesting fact is the pointlessness of turning on the AC before landing. it’s obviously not a question of airing the closed space of the plane, since people are still in it, obviously. then why on earth would one take the conscious m decision of making all those people freeze because you want to have the AC on 16° while landing, why?!?! 5. is anybody else going mad because there are no pockets on the back of the chairs on these old sorry-ass blue air planes?😳😳😳 there are just some very rigid ones able to fit just their catalog, paper bag and safety instructions. if you have a book or a cup you will simply hold it in your hand until forever lol. 6. funnily enough, a friend had told me prior that she flew with them eight times. Three were canceled and five had delays of more than six hours😳😳😳😳😳. 7. it took blue air two years to refund her the money for her canceled flights. 8. Other fun fact, it turns out, is that they have the world’s fourth oldest aircraft. 9. and another one: their oldest plane is about 17 years old. 10. what’s also funny (as in stupid) is that they charge you €100 for two bags and you’re not able to pay for them using three different cards that work on other websites and using two different browsers and also a phone. beat this!! 11. and the final points being that they send you annoying emails up to the very last minute before flying urging you to add services that you already bought😅. in my case, when I tried to do the check-in, I received the clear message that online check-in is not available for that flight on both my laptop and phone. However at almost the same time I kept receiving emails urging me to pay for online check-in for the very same flight of course🤣🤣🤣. 🤯🤯🤯and wow. it’s really hard to top blue air when it comes to being shitty.

We couldn´t get the boarding pass on line although we tried many times during the previous 24 hours. They made us to pay a suplement of 30 euros in the airport. We have felt cheated.

The crew was efficient and welcoming. Boarding was a bit messy, some delay in the cleaning, it seems. All the rest was accordingly the flight tipology.

I was held-up at boarding by rude employee who insisted that I had to wait until all other passengers had boarded the lane before issuing me a boarding pass so I can board the plane. I could not check-in earlier and get a boarding pass since I had flown directly from Dusseldorf.

Pro: "The flight was pretty smooth considering it was a small plane."
Contra: "I did not appreciate having to give my hand luggage into the hold which meant that I did not have any money to purchase any drinks on the flights and I was also sitting next to an overweight man which made it very tight for space."
Pro: "Row 3, loads of leg room, the filter coffee was excellent, just a really calm, well run flight"
Contra: "Seat prices were expensive and should really be free as if you are a family of 4, this will add well over £50 to your flight costs."
Pro: "Entertainment was good."
Contra: "The crew was horrible. They walked through the aisles with no regard for passengers seated in the aisles. No food over a 9 hr transatlantic flight. This was not explained in the ticket. This was absolutely absurd. I have never experienced that before"

Contra: "Everything from checking in where I asked for an aisle seat and was informed that I was given an aisle seat just to find that I was given a middle seat on both legs even though I had checked in for the second leg of the trip. Added to which my luggage is now missing"
Contra: "I missed my connection in Dusseldorf because none of the 12passport gates worked. Two border agents tried to handle the crowd, but I arrived at the gate 1 minute after flight close. Neither the agents at the gate nor at the transfer desk were willing to help me get to Manchester. Never fly EW again."
Pro: "Eurowings is an average low-budget flight. But at least the equipment looked all right, and it was clean. Ohh and the y didn’t loose my luggage (as I was travelling through connections, I was worried bit)."
Contra: "No food or drink is included in the price, narrow seats, delayed flight. We were already seated when it turned out the departure will be delayed by 30 mins. No toilet use during this time...."
Pro: "The crew was fine and boarding was efficient."
Contra: "We missed our connecting flight, had to wait six hours to fly to Munich, then sat in the Munich airport for four more hours as the flight to Milan was delayed. My bag made it to Milan by 10:30, I arrived at 22:00."
Contra: "Boarding took ages. And there were no announcements telling passengers what was causing the delay."
Pro: "The flight was quick and they waited for our flight from JFK, which had been delayed and arrived and hour later than scheduled."
Contra: "More legroom. And not having to pay for a simple glass of water."
Pro: "I’ve flown with various airlines and must say that I was very impressed with this crew. I guess it was because they all were young and didn’t füdisplay burnout as so many other flight attendants show when dealing with their customers."

Contra: "There wasn't enough seating at the gate, people (the elderly included) had to sit on the floor or stand for quite some time as boarding started well after the gate closing time printed on the boarding pass."

Contra: "Lack of communication. Lack of sympathy. Lack of knowledge. From the beginning, I wasn’t given the boarding pass to my connecting flight nor was I informed as to why. When I finally made it to my connecting flight with NO time to spare (very small window of approximately 45 minutes to make it to my connecting flight) my husband, my son and I were turned away from our flight due to over booking. The Eurowings manager guarantees we would be able to make another flight if we went to the ticket counter right away. At the ticket counter, (different airline) the ticket agent explained we’d have to transfer our booking over from Eurowings to the new airline. This left us NO time to make that flight the Eurowings manager guaranteed us we would make. We also waited 3 hours at the baggage claim office only for them to tell us they lost all our bags. Only 2 out of our 5 bags made it onto the flight and will be waiting at lost and found of our final destination and the other 3 bags are unknown of their whereabouts. The Eurowings ticket agent took ALL of our bags including my husbands and I carry ons, so we were left with no clothing and had to stay at the airport over night. This airline really sucks. We were never informed in advance of this over booking issue or I would have certainly made my own accommodations before hand. Will never fly Eurowings again. Definitely the worst airline I’ve traveled with. And I lost 5 bags in the process."
Pro: "The crew was friendly and helpful!"
Contra: "Our flight was delayed three hours for no readily apparent reason. The food served on-board was inedible. When it was finally time to land, we briefly touched down before going back up into the air and circling for an additional half hour because another plane was at our gate. The quick up-and-down caused at least two passengers near me to vomit. I’ll try my best to avoid Eurowings in the future."

Contra: "Delayed twice, no explanation. Full flight then had to board through one door, with no separation of seat numbers. Truly amateur. Euro Wings food choices certainly didn't appeal."
Pro: "Attendants and counter staff all super friendly, seats were comfortable with decent leg room, frequent beverage and snack offerings, and a nice selection of entertainment at the seat."
Contra: "Vegetarian hot meal option was a little strange, but not terrible."
Contra: "Delayed, causing me to miss all other flights."
Pro: "We had one of the more legroom seats so that was nice"
Contra: "Everything else. I felt the stewardess from my aisle was extremely rude. She would ask someone a question and obviously they can’t hear her because their watching a movie, so she would wave her hand in their face. Another time she was telling me “excuse me” in German while I was watching a movie. I thought she was speaking to someone else since I did not understand German and then she very rudely said “excuseee me”. The food was not filling and they charged for drinks. She also said I was only allowed one free drink of coffee. The second snack was a cake or cheese sandwhich. We were starving the entire flight we had to give in and pay for snacks on board. I’ll try to avoid eurowings from now on."
Contra: "The seats are broken and the crew treats the passengers like they do not matter."
Pro: "The Lufstansa flight we ended up boarding to San Francisco for a connector to Las Vegas was a pretty good flight. The entertainment and food choices were excellent. As a matter of fact I ended up declining the last meal served because I was still full from the first meal and snack. The crew was friendly and professional. I really liked the bathroom waiting area on the lower deck, which was great place to stretch out and do a few exercises on a long flight."
Contra: "To begin with I should mention I am 6'1" and stocky, so the economy seat was a bit tight; my knees were against the back of the seat in front of me. The previous flight coming to Europe had more room between the seats. The biggest problem by far was that the Eurowings flight was delayed by 8 hours! The Lufstansa customer service at first handed us a sheet of paper with contact information for Eurowings, Once she found out that we booked the original flight through Air Canada, she was able to help us get another flight. The flight was routed through San Francisco, with a transfer to a United flight to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the United flight has 'technical' issues that delayed it another three and a half hours! So, rather than getting home to Las Vegas at 4 p.m. on Thursday, we ended up getting home at 4 a.m. on Friday morning. We never were told why the original flight was delayed 8 hours!"
Pro: "Staff at the airport (ticket counter and check-in) were very polite."
Contra: "The flight was delayed. Then, after flying to Berlin, the staff said we couldn't land there because of weather. They decided to fly us to Leipzig-Halle (another city a two hour drive away) and said they would provide busses to take us back to Berlin. But then, when we got to Leipzig, they said oh we might be able to fly you back to Berlin, just let us refuel. So we all sat in the plane for an hour and a half while they did that. Then, they announced that they couldn't go back to the Berlin airport because there were too many planes landing there. So they told us to get off the plane, go into the arrival hall and we would get more information there. When we got out of the plane, we were greeted by an information lady who informed us that no trains were running at that hour (it was about 11:30pm), and Eurowings would not provide us with accommodation or transportation back to Berlin. The information staff told us that our options were to personally pay for either a taxi back to Leipzig (two hours away!) or rent a car, or wait until morning to take a bus or train. I was able to stay with a friend in the city, and paid to take a bus to Berlin the next day, but what about everyone else who didn't know people in Leipzig and had to fend for themselves? As a young woman traveling by myself in a foreign country, landing in an unexpected city in the middle of the night, it could have been a potentially dangerous situation. I am extremely frustrated with Eurowings. I paid them to take me to Berlin, and they didn't. I talked to customer service on the phone, and they told me that I should make my own travel plans to return to Berlin and they would reimburse me later. Aside from the fact that there weren't buses, trains or flights running till the next morning - I shouldn't have to make my own travel plans! My plans were to fly Eurowings from Duesseldorf to Tegel, and they should be responsible for getting me there. I am never flying Eurowings again, and sharing the story with any friends who travel in Europe. They absolutely do not care about their customers."
Pro: "Flight was on time!"
Contra: "The security in Düsseldorf for American citizen was very nusty. They stop everywhere ask allot of non sense questions and check your bags twice! That was a real torture for no reason!"
Contra: "The entire process to get on a bus to go to flight was delayed by over 15 minutes so the ticket agent could fix one person's flight. There were over 40 people waiting to board the bus. Terrible."
Pro: "Once we were all aboard the completely booked out flight, it didn’t take long to take off. The captain apologised for the delay and kept us up to date with our progress during the short flight. Staff were efficient and friendly."
Contra: "Lack of communication at the boarding gate. It wouldn’t take much to let people know the reason for the delay. And, while I understand that it isn’t possible to cater for all allergies on a short flight, there are enough people with food intolerances to have a few options other than wheat based snacks."
Pro: "legroom was ok but i paid for it"
Contra: "i somehow ended up having paid for a "meal" onboard, which consisted of half a sandwich (don't know why they thought mayonnaise went with cheddar), half a cup of coffee and a carton of water. Apparently that cost me 10 euros and it was something i should have unticked when reserving my seat. the flight was also delayed an hour with minimal apology."

Contra: "Flight members were very rude, one didn't smile once. She also yelled at me when I was standing in an empty row stretching and waiting for the bathroom. She told me I was not allowed to stand up, even though I was in no one's way and we we're free to move about the cabin. Horribly rude during drink and food service as well."
Contra: "Y in Geneva without clothes or meds. SwissPort at GVA doesn’t Java a clue."

Contra: "EW lost my suitcase in transit in Duesseldorf. Suitcase arrived in Berlin on next flight but then didn't get delivered until 24+ hours later. Hard to reach both EW and delivery service. Due to the delay and further travel plans the next day, I had to buy new clothes in Berlin to have something to wear."
Pro: "Check in was easy, employee was pleasant."
Contra: "Our home was damaged & we were without power for 6 days due to Hurricane Irma. They refused to cancel tickets. Heartless, no wonder so many Airlines has such horrible customer service ratings"
Pro: "Prices of food items was reasonable"
Contra: "Flight was delayed by an hour . The aircraft had to be refuelled and we were asked to remove our seat belts and wait for an hour. Ae Service was horrible. The passengers who paid extra for snacks with the ticket were served first and even after I said my ears were hurting and I needed something sweet to chew on (I was going to buy something to eat anyway) I wasn't served till roughly 75 minutes into the flight. The crew was inconsiderate towards passengers who bought economy seats and was focusing only on passengers who paid extra for seats and snacks. If that's the case then they should stop serving other customers anyway and tell us beforehand so that we can arrange our own food/drinks from the airport lounge"
Contra: "The service of the airline was horrible. They lost our bags and refused to show any empathy towards us or the multiple other passengers that also lost their bags from our flight. I will never fly Eurowings again."
Contra: "More than 3 hours delay and this is a lot of times !!! Absolutely no matter what the relationship is about This company is disastrous !"

Contra: "The birding officer didn't inform me about the visa requirements to cross from Dusslouf to Vinna airport. This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"
