Better entertainment options and faster boarding.
One of my bags didnt arrived. It was a priority bag. And the flight was a really bad experience. There were two kids (2-3 years old) from two families in business class that cried during literally 10 hours! Was a really long flight

Contra: "I did not check the terms and conditions of the ticket. I am a Star Alliance Gold member and I was expecting SWISS to have a similar booking system like the others I fly with. I found out that the ticket fare did not contain checked luggage ( so I had to pay a hefty fee for it ) and also my 20" wheeled case that was ok in all the other flights I took it with me, this time was oversized and overweight . My wife took out the 2 laptops so it became within weight limits but still oversized - My wife paid for the fee ( I wasn't there at the time and she is not a such experienced flyier as I am ) . When I found out about the fee, I checked their rules and I found out that the hand luggage is allowed to be 22" . I saw in the airplane a lot of people with cases having the same size as mine, that went as checked luggage at a cost fo around 40 . I want to see how can I get my money back . . ."
Pro: "Crew was good. Very polite. The plane was old. No place to charge your phone. The in flight screen required the use of a remote which was inconvenient when having to wake up my neighbor to pull it out of the armrest. Food wasn’t great. Skipped the last meal service. It was like flying 20 years ago. Not bad, but not as good as it could be nowadays."

Contra: "There is little that can be done to make a long haul flight comfortable when a baby is screaming and crying for it's entire duration. Its behaviour cannot be helped. But it certainly didn't make the flight comfortable, nor did the young child kicking incessantly at the back of my and my daughter's seats. This could have occurred on any flight, but it didn't contribute to having a positive experience on this one. The flight attendant serving breakfast completely ignored that fact that I was awake and strolled past without asking if I would like anything as meals were being served. I informed another flight attendant that we hadn't been offered breakfast and she was able to provide us with meals. Besides this the cabin crew were courteous and pleasant. I've flown with Swiss on other occasions and have had better experiences. I'd like to think this was just a one off and not representative of the level of service that Swiss normally provides."

Flight was overbooked. Food was awful. Seats in economy class are a torture: narrow, not enough leg room. The airplanes classes are like casts: rich, average and poor…That system is a shame. Pilots were Excellent !!! Thank you!!!!
Air Canada is by far the worst Airline on the face of this planet. Only delays and overbooked flight with very poor customer support. Avoid them at all cost!
Expected A320neo as per the booking, got a 28 years old A321. Still no food service. Not impressed at all this time by Lufthansa.

What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

Contra: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Contra: "It was really unclear which desk to use at Birmingham airport to check in. It was extremely stressful for a first time flier as I had no idea what to do - the desk location wasn't marked clearly and when no staff were there it wasn't clear that the desk was open."

Contra: "The "new" seats were hard and uncomfortable. Avoid any kinds of seats near the bathroom in a configuration with 3 abreast next to the windows. The "aisle" seat is essentially a "waiting area" for the rest room."

The flight had a short delay. The main dish was not that great. More variety would have been better.

Contra: "1st, neither seat that I selected when checking in were given to me. 2nd both aircraft took off late for no apparent reason. 3rd When waiting to board in Warsaw, I was almost bitten by a large pit pull that a passenger was bringing into the cabin as a comfort animal. When I and several other passengers question the desk at the gate about the bringing a large vicious dog into the plane, we were told they were to busy to deal with us even though they were just standing there doing nothing. I have never seen such rudeness towards passengers as I did at that gate. I will take a ship across the Atlantic before I go through Warclaw again."
Pro: "Had premium seat. But since you drive with the bus to the airplane you are mixed up with economy for boarding."

But when I asked LOT employees to insure that my luggage is on a plane to Toronto too, I received arrogant answer that I have nothing to worry about... In Toronto I found out that there was no my luggage on the plane..."

Contra: "I bought my inlaws tickets with a shorter layover and it was horrible. It took them ‘much longer to get home. There was no plane waiting for them in Budapest and they got re-routed to Vienna. Which then took them to krakow. They had to take off their luggage everytime they got off the plane and they are 80 years old. There were no escalators or elevators. The airlines lost one of their suitcases and promised it the next day and they have not received it yet. Horrible flight."
Pro: "We made it there and the staff in Warsaw were very helpful."
Contra: "The staff in Paris were late rude and overall not helpful. The plane was delayed an hour we have no idea why. The plane was very old and the crew serving from Paris to Warsaw were not helpful."

Pro: "Overall everything was good - I have travelled frequently with LOT in the past few months and this was perhaps the best experience so far. Boarding was easy enough - the flight was not fully booked so there wasn't the usual Central European pushing and anxiety during boarding. Flight crew are informative, cabin crew attentive and kind. Service and food were good."
Contra: "Comfort on these long haul flights is not expected in economy - the seat next to me was free which came in very useful as the person in front of me reclined almost immediately and kept throwing himself about in his seat in vain attempts to get comfortable - I was able to move over so I wasn't disturbed by his person. Why they have reclining seats is a mystery - it doesn't make it appreciably more comfortable for the person reclining and it reduces leg room for the person behind, makes it more difficult to watch the screen (despite the tilting feature) and means that the tray table is resting on your knees during meal times."

Contra: "I lost my iPad during this flight. Luckily it was found in the Warsaw airport but the airline did not do anything to help me besides giving me some phone numbers and email addresses. It would cost more to ship it back to the US then the iPad is worth. It would be nice if lot would provide help to get it to me."
Pro: "They were efficient though. So in this case I need to recognize and congratulate the crew they were there they delivered the service."

Pro: "The crew on this flight was amazing. Very attentive, courteous and professional!! The crew was in no way responsible for how terrible this airplane was, and they did a wonderful job of making sure everything was taken care of."
Contra: "The plane was terribly old and decrepit. None of the television screens worked, the airplane was dingy, brown, worn out looking and just overall gross. This flight was operated by a company called Privilege Style, and while the crew was fantastic everything else was terrible. The food was pathetic and nasty; they served breaded chicken that was so soggy it resembled a used dish cloth. It came with soggy oily vegetables and a cake that had condensation all over it. The only redeeming thing on this flight was the free Polish beer (it was warm). The flight we took going to Poland was on one of their new Dreamliner planes and it was amazing! We were so disappointed with this return flight as it was a stark contrast to the wonderful experience we had coming to Poland. I hope in the future they can discontinue use of these older planes, as it makes flying much more aggravating."
