do not use Ryanair, delays of more than one hour
There was way long delay.
They did not Tool uș to TLV as We hâd to do Corona test
Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "Ryanair announced that we could postpone the flights without any cost due to corona virus and when I tried to reach them/to change the flight date the change tax was still there."
Contra: "Being on time + quiet fellow passengers"
Pro: "I was traveling with a handicap, the staff was very polite, patient and helpful"
Pro: "Ryanair works very well if you follow the instructions. Check in day before departure - Don’t bring too big or too many bags onboard. Pretty perfect flight for us."
Contra: "Fellow passengers not preparing for check in and bringing too much luggage then complaining for 10 minutes while everyone else has to wait. Ryanair only had one check in / bag drop. Should be automated or more staff. Took forever. (Ok 30min and only 3 ppl ahead of me in queue)"
Pro: "No issues - everything went smoothly"
Contra: "There are no nets on the back of the seat in front of you to put things like water bottles - headphones, books etc."
Pro: "everything"
Contra: "nothing"
Contra: "Pointless paying for priority boarding as staff just let both lanes board at the same time"
Pro: "Good pilot"
Contra: "Chairs"
Pro: "It is the worst airline on Earth. They barred me from flight, removed my name from the system so that I can't board because they say that I can't travel with EU residence card with which I travelled to all Schengen countries with other airlines. They lied to me and didn't return my money too."
Contra: "They must obey EU laws!"
Pro: "There was no legroom, the sandwiches is missing (not available at all)"
Contra: "Onboarding was like for animalls. After we pass throug the gates, were sticked into the tunnel for 15-20 min in hot air..."
Pro: "Niente."
Contra: "Niente.....organizzazione pessima il crew, unica spiegazione e che una giornata troppo affollata!!!! Pessina orgazione...neanche aqua oferta...tutto sulla nostra sofferenza."
Pro: "On time flight and decent boarding process (not too much fuss over baggage size and weight)."
Contra: "Seating policy - it’s ridiculous to charge passengers to be seated together, even if they’re flying on the same booking. It only leads to on-board seating “trades” and negotiations to get people to agree to swap seats. Embarrassing!"
Pro: "Easy trip. Crew relaxed, short flight."
Contra: "The process of getting on the flight is the most exhausting part: distance to Terminal 1, multiple screenings and checks, then another long bus ride to the plane. The flight itself was is the easiest part at this airport."
Contra: "Boarding on time"
Pro: "They denied the me boarding,I want my money back"
Pro: "Although I had a 40 minutes flight, it was really good. The crew were very amiable and fun. All amazing!"
Pro: "Friendly crew."
Contra: "Hour late departure , which is a frequent event... perhaps due to summer weather. Putting a two year old sitting alone, away from parents and insisting parents should make arrangements with other passengers. Standing outside the plane another fifteen minutes."
Pro: "They were professional and efficient"
Contra: "It was required to check in prior to arrival to airport to avoid a fee. I did not have internet access still I arrived. I had to pay 55 euro for a simple check in. Not fair to folks who do not use data for internet nor WiFi. A email could be sent 72 hours but that does not mean people check all emails or they even have access to the web. It’s not a fair or smart business move, I will not book with them again."
Pro: "Short flight Flight itself is cheap Plane ok"
Contra: "Could not seat with my partner - it looks as if it is done on purpose so that people will pay Also - the price for the suitcase is outrages and much too expensive"
Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "All the process was tedious. If you dont print your boarding pass before hand, be ready to pay about $25 a piece for them to "print" it. (not even printed, is handwritten). Between other things. Not enough characters left to tell everything. Overall, a terrible airline."
Pro: "Tickets were Cheap."
Contra: "The flight attendants weren’t friendly and had a bad attitude. They were not helpful at all."
Pro: "Got to my destination eventually"
Contra: "Flight was delayed over an hour. No explanation or announcements. Everyone just stood and waited for allto board for an hour. They could have told us why we running late."
Pro: "price and schedule were very fine on time pleasant staff"
Contra: "they changed their onboard bag policy was changed several times between our purchase of tickets and flight date , poor policy and customer relations"
Pro: "Low price"
Contra: "delay of 1:30."
Pro: "Ryanair was a great surprise. I am 1.79 in height the seats were not cramped, yes they do"
Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "The airline made us go to the gate where there was no seating, though they knew the flight was an hour late, so we stood for an hour, before being told we had to check carry on bags in the hold, carrying computers, valuables, batteries, and drinks in our hands (not possible). Card payment on board was disabled. Payment in the currency of the departing country was impossible."
Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "Late , expensive, loud, no leg room seat do not tilt !"
Pro: "departure time"
Contra: "no water to drink"
Pro: "Not many things, I have got to the destination in one piece"
Contra: "Almost everything releated to the flight from point A to point B was horrible. This was the first and last time I have ever flight with ryanair. People need to know how poor the airline is, and the airline needs yo improve in almost every aspect related"
Pro: "Kept informed"
Contra: "Sitting on tarmac for two hours, and being asked to pay for a bottle of water"
Pro: "It got me home."
Contra: "Firstly, there were no sandwiches (hot or cold) available on a late afternoon flight, so the remaining food options were poor. Secondly, my £7 Gin and Tonic that I'd hardly touched slid right off the frankly useless trays and into my lap. The flight attendant literally threw me a few paper towels to help. I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."
Pro: "Throughout flight constantly making announcements like an auction to sell you stuff was late to arrive"
Contra: "We were stuck on the ground for an hour. Not impressed."
Pro: "The ticket was cheap and to an airport that had easy access to public transportation."
Contra: "I found out later that I had to print out my ticket or face a 50 euro fee and they do not give free water on the flight."
Pro: "Good price, adequate seats, space for our carry-on bags. No surprises!"
Contra: "Boarding involved a long wait standing in the tarmac in the sun."
Pro: "There is nothing to like about flying RyanAir"
Contra: "No legroom, seats are cramped. £100 for 1x 20kg bag and £56 to reserve 2 seats. £2 payment charge in order for me to give them money... No entertainment Delayed inexplicably for an hour on the taxiway - no reason given. There aren't even seat-back pockets. Truly awful flight."
Pro: "We got to our destination. Our bags arrived at our destination."
Contra: "1. Despite a delay of over 3 hours, RyanAir provided neither reimbursement nor meal vouchers, despite both being required by EU law. 2. Our boarding passes said, "if your flight is cancelled or delayed for at least two hours, ask at the ticket counter or boarding gate for the text stating your rights, particularly with regard to compensation and assistance." When we learned the flight would be delayed 2+ hours, we followed these directions; the gate agents told us, quite dismissively, that it applied only in case of a 3-hour delay. After wrestling with NAP's snail-pace wifi, I found the relevant text on the RyanAir website and showed it to a gate agent. She said her supervisor had told her that it had to be a delay of 3 hours but that she would check with her. I never heard from her again. It became a moot point when the flight was delayed more than 3 hours. Even then, the gate agents did none of the things the text said they were supposed to do. 3. The gate agents were not RyanAir employees, and it seemed RyanAir did not communicate with them in a helpful way. Independent of this, though, they were also just not competent. Here are some other things that happened: - About 2 hours after the scheduled departure, despite there being no plane at the gate, one of the gate agents started the boarding process. He let about 30-40 people into the holding pen; then a passenger pointed out that the delay had increased another hour. The passengers in the holding pen had to stay in there (one asked to leave to use the restroom and the gate agent told him he would have to surrender his passport while he was gone). - Once the 3-hour delay was posted, they started handing out gate check tags like candy. It was unclear why; perhaps they thought it would soothe the passengers' anger. We did not request one then. When we boarded, my wife asked for one. The gate agent did not even acknowledge her request (despite still having a good number left). - When the plane did arrive, the passengers in the holding pen rushed the door of the jetway. About 15 made it into the jetway (and, I guess, onto the plane) before a gate agent shouted at everyone to stop, ran over, and closed the jetway doors. 4. In other news... passengers were loud and rude. When the delay was first posted, they formed an angry mob around the gate agents and yelled questions that could have been answered by reading the monitor. Half of them had their seat belts off and were standing as soon as the plane landed. The whole row behind me was so loud I couldn't hear the music coming form my earbuds. The guy behind me pushed me as we were getting off the plane because he thought I wasn't going fast enough. Needless to say, no one should ever fly RyanAir."
Contra: "You charged me an extra 150 Euro because I did not receive your e mail and could not register on line my flight. I complained at Airport in Greece and no one would assist me. I am writing the NY Times and Washington Post about your strategy to take extra $ from first time flyers of your airline. Shamfull !!!! Pro: "Quick to unload."
Contra: "In flight costs"
Pro: "Neat plane and friendly hostesses"
Contra: "Lousy timing flight was delayed over an hour"
Pro: "The ticket price was good. Everything else is a hassle."
Contra: "Printing boarding passes before you get to the airport. Chaotic boarding; boarding from the back when seated in the front and visa-versa. Weight limits for baggage is different than all other airlines, makes it very difficult on a long multi-leg trip. Basically baggage ransom for the unsuspecting."
Pro: "I can't think of any."
Contra: "Rude gate staff at Otopeni Airport insisting I place my hand luggage in the hold until I informed them I had priority seats. The whole concept of priority boarding goes out the window as boarding was via a bus"
Pro: "The crew was very good."
Contra: "No entrainment at all very boring."
Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "Everything"
