Contra: "The air plane was freezing cold - I could not even be comfortable sitting in my seat with a blanket on. The woman next to me had 2 blankets on. I could not check my luggage when I arrived at the airport. I had to sit with my luggage for 3 hours just waiting to check it. So I could not enjoy the 7 hours I had before my flight - to walk around the city, or even shop in the airport. I could not select a seat when I checked in on line - even though it was 20 hours before my flight. Even though I was traveling alone I could only get a middle seat. There were no non-meat food choices for the meal. We could not hear the announcements at boarding - no one knew what was being said."

Contra: "I really believe this itinerary should have not been on the list because Nigeria strictly need Visa. Once I arrived in Lagos, I needed to wait around one hour to wait for immigration officer since all the transit passengers need to claim their baggage, and we went outside together with Immigration Officer under strict supervision. We waited again two hour while waiting Emirate counter opened. During two hours, we were not allowed to move which means no freedom of movement like a criminal or the one who is supposed to extradited. It was very humiliating. After getting ticket from Emirates, we were accompanied by Immigration officer again and entered into inside of the airport. We were forced to stay inside Immigration Office before our departure like again criminals, saying that there is a chance for us to go outside of the airport which does not make any sense. That was what happened during my out-bounding trip. On the way back, again, I experienced same humiliation that I do not want to experience again. Since I needed to wait around 18hours before my connection flight, I had no option to be in the immigration office under strict supervision of the officer. I could not understand why there is no transit counter either for Emirates or Arik Air, both were not responsible. I truly believe this ticket should not be sold from your website."

Contra: "Seat allocation is usually a bit of a lottery as you never know who you're going to sit next to. The guy next to me was a little imposing which made it uncomfortable - nothing emirates can do about that. Furthermore, it seems there's a lot more turbulence these days and the seat belt sign seems to be used liberally so we got pinned down to out seats with our meal trays for quite sometime. I do however find that the DXB-JNB flights seem to take quite long with their meal cleanup the best of times. It may be worth looking at reevaluating this process to see how you can speed it up. I don't think this is a crew issue, I think this is a system/process issue."

Pro: "Flight was from CHI-DBX-HYD but changed to CHI-DBX-MUMBAI-HYD(VALID REASON WAS GIVEN) My mother was the traveler and she was humiliated on Dubai airport and also on Mumbai airport. We were promised that she have to claim the baggage at her final decision, but she have to claim it in Mumbai and then check in again in Mumbai(False promise by Emirates). The worst part was, while she did her checking from O'Hara airport, the "EMIRATES EMOLOYEE" allowed her to check in her carry on "WITHOUT OUR REQUEST". But at the Dubai airport she was asked to pay $150 for the carry on. Since she did not have the cash, she couldn't pay and they "CANCELLED" that bag. And at the Mumbai airport she only received one bag and was told her other bag will be delivered to our house but the third bag is "CANCELLED". I don't know from whom should"

During our connecting flight in Athens our boarding passes wouldn't print at the self service computers and there was no one to help us so we had to go back out to the front desk. The airline representative was extremely rude. There was 5 employees standing around the computer with NO customers and when we asked if this was Turkish Airlines and if they could help, the woman (manager) responded "this WAS Turkish Airlines" as if they were done helping customers for the day (it was 9AM and our flight was leaving in 45 min). We explained that we couldn't print our passes and she ROLLED her eyes as if it was an inconvenience to help us. THEN on our flight from Istanbul to Chicago, a passenger died an hour into the flight and they placed the body on the seats behind us for over 10 hours! Nobody even told us what happened! We didn't know if they died from natural causes or if it was something else! They didn't offer to seat us somewhere else or even inform us they were placing the body there. We were completely shocked and uncomfortable the whole flight home. We couldn't eat or sleep. We're completely disgusted and scarred from this overall experience."

The only currency exchange is on the other side of passport control so you have to use one of the ATMs and they only give you $100. The staff is unprofessional and seems clueless when you ask them for help. The kiosks are a nightmare and working with them is worse than working with the people. They freeze, and glitch and many of them just flat out don't work. Probably one of the worst airports I've ever been to."

I was force to by one more ticket when I live from I very small income. So know my 3 months social security I have to pay the new ticket. No mony left for food or my medication."

Contra: "The middle seat that I got. The first 30min the plane was super hot plus it was very hot outside. When I boarded the plane, I asked if there were any exit row seats open. I was told no. I sat down 5 rows or so behind the exit. 15 min later the attendant started moving children from the exit rows to different seats. I raised my hand to be placed in the exit row but was ignored. The flight attendants were slow and rude. I asked for two white wines with my food, and was looked at with disgust. I was told that I can have one, and when I finished it, I could have the second one. I said ok. Well 30 MINUTES later I touch the attendant button and no one came. Finally after 5 min someone came to take my order. She quickly came back and said they were out of wine. This was a very disappointing flight."

Contra: "Lost the bag and will return it . Still discussing with them after five days. Promising to deliver each day but then not doing it. Miserable experience and do not recommend using this airline."

I was told the flight had departed even though it was still 25 minutes before flight time. I then had to go to ticket sales where they charged me $425 dollars for the 80 minute flight to Bucharest. In the US, I would have been put on the next available flight fee of charge. I will never fly Turkish Airlines again."

Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

Contra: "I booked tickets via Delta, operated by KLM. They lost both of my check in bags in September, and it happened again today for the same scheduled flights. Had 4 hours of layover and KLM still wasn’t able to manage it."

Contra: "I have ordered Wheelchair for my parents which one of my parent didn't get it on Mumbai Airport. When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Pro: "Last year I flew Lufthansa which was my worst experience flying ever. I thought the new standard was so low I would never fly to Europe again. I had heard KLM was good but I felt this was as good as could be expected actually much better. The food was even good."

Contra: "KLM crews look unhappy with their work. Everything they do is a favor not duty."

Pro: "The flight was great."

Contra: "No proper info regarding cancellation. Staff was unfriendly and abruptly responded to passengers."

Contra: "The Guy who had an accident when boarding causing a delay. Also I didn’t like the wait fir checking as passengers with children went before business class and should be after."

Pro: "Cabin Crew was awesome."
Contra: "Entertainment System was not working and no Non-veg food option in flight."

Pro: "The flight was very good, specially considering it was a daylight one. Staff was friendly and servicial. Tue food was above the industry's average."

Pro: "Comfort economy well worth the extra."

Contra: "Aircraft was not very clean,the staff seamed quite harsh at times when speaking to customers. The food was really quite poor but it was a short flight to be honest. Overall not as pleasant as the China Southern flights. I would not like to choose them again unless i had to."

Contra: "The leg room on the long flight was less than I would have wished and it was particularly bad when the person in front put their seat back. this was a day time flight and it would have been good to have a bit more room to use a laptop."

Pro: "The crew were pleasant"

Pro: "KLM Is an impressive flying experience. We enjoyed the comfortable seats, the in-flight entertainment, and the food. The flight attendants are top notch as well."
Contra: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

Pro: "...The transfer at JFK was terrible"

Contra: "I wasn't sitting next to my partner and we sat on the Tarmac for 45 minutes after the flight was already delayed by 30 minutes."

Pro: "Excellent crew made this flight very enjoyable. A lot of information during the flight about the route, arrival times and clear explanation of the departure delay. Very friendly and attentive."
Contra: "Only 1 drinks round on a 3h flight."

Pro: "Crew was very good. On time, luggage arrived on time too. Glad fhat the movies and music worked this time--first time in last few flights. Anytime there are no hitches, its a good flight (most do have hitches)."
Contra: "Simply uncomfortable--no way around it. Food is 'meh'. Boarding in Schipol was a challenge--it was hard to find out what gate to go to, i had to investigate to get hints. Entertainment system worked on this flight, but that's the first time in my last 3 cross-Atlantic trips."

Pro: "Flight crew is very kind. Seats are confortable with plenty of legroom. Food is excellent and overall it was a beautiful experience."
