We had no rough turbulence and their landing skills were amazing."

There is no possible way for anyone who isn't seriously sedated to sleep or even sit for any extended period of time in what amount to slightly cushioned coffins. I literally spent an hour in the toilet trying to fall asleep because at least in there I had room to extend my legs. At least in there I could actually breathe (the ventilation system is totally inadequate for anyone sitting near the windows and results in horribly stuffy and uncomfortable air.)"

Contra: "Was asked to give up my aisle seat (D 40) seat om a 13 hour flight for a less comfortable one (F). Put on the spot to give up my seat for a couple with a 6 month old infant due to the fact that the attachable bassinet had to be in front of the D seat. Neither the parent or myself felt very good about my displacement."

Contra: "My entertainment system would not turn off, which made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I asked a flight attendant for help and she said she would reset it. However, the reset did not work and she never came back to verify whether or not it had solved the situation. I finally gave up and put a blanket over the screen. Furthermore, the meal service was very slow. It seemed as if most of the staff was very young and likely inexperienced. Perhaps it would be better to mix younger, less experienced staff with more seasoned staff. I flew three other Swiss flights during my European vacation and the service was much faster. Incidentally, most of the staff on these other flights were older and probably more experienced."

The meals on both flights were identical; I don't think it can be a big problem to correct that. I took a long time to get accepted by the WiFi in the two lounges."

Contra: "You, Kayak, sold me economy tickets. When I checked in online I saw it for the first time that our tickets were Economy Light. So even though we are Frequent Flyers, we payed $220 for three checkin luggages. I intend to dispute this case."

Contra: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Both luggages are missing. -made the complainment, now we are waiting to show up in Romania and to be delivered at home. -went to pick up the rental car, because of the plane delay, they gave our car away. -after trying several companies, we found a car, 3 times more expensive, but we have a car....yeeyy"

But it took more than 20 minutes while mid way waiting for clearance to leave for the plane. The service bus did not turn on the AC while we waited even though we complained. We were suffocating. Pro: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Contra: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

Contra: "My check in luggage was in very bad condition when I receive it. My clothes were all wet and they got bab by each other’s colour. Many clothes are not in a condition to wear now. Those were expensive and I had a big loss because of that."

Contra: "Everything. Our flight was delayed from our departing city because the plane was leaking water on the floor and they had to send in a special cleaning crew to try to stop it. We were not given the seats we pre picked months before when buying the ticket. The ac was broken for the first half of the flight. Then, we missed our connecting flight because of the first delay. Once we got onto a new connecting flight, it was also delayed and once again, we missed our last connecting flight and are not making it to our final destination today."

I had to call the SAS headquarters in Stockholm before receiving any guidance on what to do next. All service attendants ditched the ticketing desk leaving one poor employee to answer questions for over 70 disgruntled passengers. Very very very poor communication. Luckily I was finally able to book a flight using another airline after waiting on hold for 20 minutes with the regional customer service provider."

Pro: "All around everything was excellent. Will most likely always fly SAS between Riga and USA."

And since I didn't realize it, I didn't purchase it online, which doubled the price at the airport :-( also, and this is not the fault of the airline, the security line is ridiculously slow because at least 50% of the passengers get shunted to a single line because the screener saw something odd."

Even though the lights were dimmed I couldn't actually sleep, since the lights were turned back on too often to try to pass out breakfast less than 4 hours after we just had dinner."

But, it took nearly two days to get home."

Just looking around it was clear I was not the only one who felt this way. I understand that the pilots did there best to navigate through the weather but for the future it would be great for them to communicate that we would be hitting some turbulence. The landing as well was one of the worst I have experienced. I will not be flying or recommending air Europa to anyone. Just checking in to receive boarding passes was a nightmare as they informed me the plane had already closed even though it was an hour before my flight left. I was then directed to customer service who then sent me back to the counter where I finally received my boarding pass. Running through the airport and to security was awful and when I arrived at the gate the gate was still open and people were still boarding. It seems as thought air Europa is more concerned with how many tickets they can sell than customer service."

Contra: "No entertainment for long flight except mr bean. The way to Madrid was much more enjoyable. Same airline. Oh and wifi=30$ for 50 MB. I use that in 2 min so way too little data with each package."
