One has to go through many additional checks to board a NY bound flight which is understood but the gates can’t sccomod a full 777 flight. It gets hot really fast, definitely what you don’t need before a long flight. Group boarding is enforced but people will still try to wiggle into the priority boarding line. On another note I have had a similar flight on the A330 and the boarding process was smooth (organized)."

The rescheduling of the new flights were "all lies" From Naples to Munich was ok, but the flight from Munich to Dubai was not confirmed (even though I had a printed ticket). Emirate airlines refused to take us and I was stuck in Munich all night, waiting for new reschedule. Horrible experience. I will avoid Turkish airlines in any of my future flights."

Contra: "Our departure flight (BOS-IST) was changed 6 weeks after our booking, so our 2.5-hour layover became 10 hours. This happened before in my past experience with Turkish Airlines. There were many babies and small kids, so the noise level was high. Not ideal if you want to get some sleep on the flight."

Thumbs up for KLM crew, planes and Schiphol Airport, though short on staff and a little late everything went smooth, including the flight.

Wi-Fi didn’t work. Boarding was totally confusing. Guy next to me took more then his area. Constantly touching me pushing on me. Had a bag blocking getting out. Almost fell. Crew didn’t help

New 737 and seats too confining

Contra: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

Contra: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Pro: "The customer service phone number was impossible to get through on in order to take to someone within 24 hours of my flight in order to make my Special Meals request as I have Celiac's Disease. I was unable to make this selection at booking as when you book through a third party like Expedia, which I did, you cannot access the same internal tools required to make that selection. You can ONLY then call once you have checked in before the flight in order to let the airline know of your Special Meal needs. This is not only a terrible policy as it undercuts those who ARE ultimately still buying tickets to their airline, and that the airline is CHOOSING to sell. It provided me with an extremely subpar experience of the airline but left up to the last minute with doubts about my ability to board a 13 he international flight without the reassurance that I would have ANY meals aboard and no other options should that be the case. Right before my flight departed I was reassured that the information we had requested Expedia relay to the airline internally the day before, who we called when we couldn't get through to the airline, WAS able to convey this Special Meal request and I was going to have food on the flight, so I then did not purchase a bunch of snacks in the airport to have as options. The first meal in, no Special Meal was provided and I had to explain then entire situation all over again. They assured me they would figure it out and get me taken care of. However, no one who assisted me conveyed this to anyone else on the flight and every time food was dispersed, same situation. This was stressful and exhausting and the options provided me were modified to be gluten free, such as an entire plate of fruit for my snack, instead of the protein heavy snack everyone else received, because there truly wasn't extra for that type of dietary restriction. This was stressful and I was very hungry on the flight. One of the attendants got me a few chunks of cheese from first class, but otherwise, it wasn't great. I would advise travelers with Special Meal requests NOT to fly with AirCanada."

Contra: "Our plane was delayed for 5 hrs. On top of it, they brought in a smaller plane with 100+ less seating than original one which caused us losing our reserved seating. They refused to give us our seating arrangements up until the boarding time. All the other passengers had boarding tickets but us. So our family couldn’t sit together. I had a super pleasant experience with Air Canada prior to this trip so it made me so sad. On the other hand, crew were fantastic. We missed our connecting flight but they took care of us so I was happy in that sense."

We paid over $1,200 extra for a short flight, but given their prioritization frameworks, when we missed our flight due to reasons they were partially responsible for, they made us wait over 12 hours vs. the 2 we paid for."

Contra: "Food was grose. Seat was located on an emergency exit and supposed to be "preferred". Worst seat ever. Right next to the window is very uncomfortable since your stuck to the wall if the plane. Theres no window on that row. But this specific seat is awkward and very uncomfortable."

Contra: "My connections were tight from the start. Then when the flight from Vancouver was late leaving, it caused me to come very, very close to missing my CVG connection. I had to find & clear customs before I could even go to my gate. Getting thru customs was like being in a maze. I showed my passport 4 times in the process & finally someone helped me to fill out the electronic form. I made it to my gate in the nick of time just as they were ready to close the door. They radioed ahead to let 2 more people on that plane. Then I get on and someone is sitting in the seat that I previously purchased. The flight attendant didn't make them move either. Air Canada's practices suck! I will never fly Air Canada again."

India returned with 5 emesis bags and no cloth and never once came back to check on the gentleman!!! I really wish it was not a full flight because i would have advised him to puke all over everything. How hard was it to provide a cool cloth?? Really? I know first class has wash cloths and that was an easy request. And the fact that she never came back to see if we needed anything or to tell us she did not have a cloth for him. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I will think twice about flying Air Canada again. Thank god for good citizeans willing to help strangers in a time of need."

In realit, the stewards on the flight just gave us a card with a customer service number, said call this number and they will get you accommodations. So no one was at the gate to meet us and no one ever answered the phone!! We were on hold for 48 minutes. We were stuck in the airport for ten hours, through the night, until another flight could be arranged. We had to find someone on United to get us on a new flight. My daughter and I were at the end of 24 hours of flying and expected that what we were told would be carried out. I was not impressed with the way this was handled and no apology or compensation from Air Canada for the delays and sleeping on the airport floor!!"
Contra: "We left 2 hrs. late. I had only 45 min. to catch my connection in Frankfurt. Had to run through that huge airport with a broken toe!"

Contra: "Horrible smelly crampy cloth seats, awful food, they don't offer complementary wine and beer for international flights like other carriers, no tvs in the headrest. The flight crew works slower then I have ever observed in my over 200 flights. Took them 1hr 40min to serve what they called "dinner", Delta and others knocks it out in 30!!! And don't get thirsty, You'll die of dehydration before you get a drop of water. They treat ice like its gold. 2 cubes for each drink. If u ask for more u get one more cube. Lol. It was just a horrible experience! I will never fly Air Canada again."

Pro: "Flight crew was friendly and helpful. Montreal is a very manageable airport. Staff there was also courteous and efficient. Food was very good for airline fare. Renting an IPad for $10 to watch movies in-flight was a reasonable option for distraction on a 9 hour flight. We were quite pleased with Air Canada and will not hesitate to book with them again."

What could have been better? The seats and food service

I was in flights from sap paulo <-> Madrid, the last one 11/15/21, That takes around 10:30 hour. Can you imagine that is served only a POOR meal after one hour of flight and nothing more??? We don’t have any service (besides in the morning a payed kart) or crew working in anything more than masks control. You need to pay for water / coffee is reasonable ? Even if you consider as low cost flights that you payed around U$ 700, courtesy and education should be showed by crew, things that Air Europe should learn to their employees on the airplane, a very rude people!!! It was not with me, but a complain for a lot people around. I have never been treated Like this before. Air Europa your journey will be short walking in this road. I, a constant traveler, will never more flight with you. I don’t need this kind of services!

Contra: "My carry-on of clearly leagal size was tested to see if it passed. Happy to say IT PASSED they could not charge me. No in flight entertainment as there is no place to put a headphone into. They tell you to use your smart phone. The flight attendants disappear and really are not there for any reason I could see except to find ways to charge you for something. When they do show up they basically try to ignore you."

Contra: "The new 787-8 does not have individual climate control nozzles. The cabin tended to be warmer than a typical home/office environment even at altitude, and I found myself surprisingly cramped and overheated in the middle seat on the left side of the plane."
Pro: "I think that good service of a plane should not be paid to watch movies and very uncomfortable watching movie on the phone screen. The WIFI is very expensive and the food looks like hospital"

Contra: "Flight was cancelled without explanation. We scheduled flight was also seriously delayed. Flight to Barcelona was siginifivantly delayed as well. Poor communication to the passengers. I'll never fly Air Europa again. Moreover, I'll recommend my friends to not fly this airline as well."
Pro: "We had no problems with boarding on time or checking our bags. Some reviews were upset about the in-flight entertainment (or lack thereof) but Netflix has a download option now and I pre-planned and binged an entire series on the flight. I didn't eat the food on the trip to Europe but on the way home I had the veggie pasta, wine, coffee and the pizza snack and it was all basically on par with other airplane food I've had. The attendants were also all fantastic and polite and helpful."

Contra: "We kept getting an error when trying to check-in online. The check-in counter was slow and didn't open until two hours before for an international flight. Even after being checked in they didn't release the gate location until 30 min before takeoff. Surprisingly the flight was still on time and baggage made it."
Pro: "I paid $750 roundtrip to FRANKFURT and was really impressed with the flight. Being fed twice and how good it was since I have heard air Europa is like spirit airlines for Europe. Would suggest"

Contra: "More TV/Monitors are needed preferably individual monitors for longer flights over 4 hours which would keep the flights from being too boring."
