Contra: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."
Pro: "The whole trip went smoothly. The price was right. There was a very bad storm in Charlotte before departure. Lufthansa made a delay, and I was very happy about that decision. They were very informative about connections, and emailed important information. Friendly, competent staff!"
Contra: "getting fine from DC to Munchen and Munchen to Bucharest, 7 h delayed but we get to Romania. - when waiting for the luggages, guess what? Both luggages are missing. -made the complainment, now we are waiting to show up in Romania and to be delivered at home. -went to pick up the rental car, because of the plane delay, they gave our car away. -after trying several companies, we found a car, 3 times more expensive, but we have a car....yeeyy"

That being said with some chatting to the service agent she softened up and started to be more helpful. Wish she could have been more helpful from the start and ended up being rerouted through another city despite a codeshare flight leaving directly to my final destination which would have been the normal switch. Oh well, those are the breaks with a bulk price ticket. Once in flight, service was very good and plenty of open seats, so room to stretch out."

Contra: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Primer experiencia en KLM y no pienso nunca más usar esta aerolínea. Llevar el equipaje o resolver un problema sobre valijas es de lo más básico de una aerolínea y no lo hacen."

Contra: "Information on KLM website and flight status said 50 minutes delay and was never updated with the true status. 3 hours before we took off. KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."
Contra: "Flight way delayed 3 hours. Staff gave no information and wouldn't help rebook us onto other flights. They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Contra: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"
Pro: "We flew with our special needs child without requesting any particular accommodations except for gluten free meals. The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!"

A lot of the passengers were disappointed ."

Pro: "I didn't feel cramped in a Window Seat. Two meals were served during the flight. It was nice to get back to being fed something other than skippy snacks on an airline flight."
Contra: "I was ignored over and over again as ice cream, drinks and snacks were offer by the crew. It would have been nice if some would ask me before falling asleep if I wanted to be roused for snacks and desserts. After being on back to back flights of more than 10 hours each it would be considerate for the crew to be aware of my length of travel and to make sure they don't assume my resting my eyes is the same as me being asleep. Even when I was awake it appeared I was being overlooked, ignored and left out of complimentary services I saw other receiving....my bad for not asking to be noticed."
Pro: "quick flight 10 min ahead schedule"
Contra: "Airport handling is catastrophic. A lost bagage created the twins to be locked. Half an hour and we could not enter. Delays and huge mess in front of police checkpoint. No announcement and no care for passengers approaching departure time. And to top it all no announcement of any delays. Had to cheat my way through the priority line and run a sprint through security and beyond. Reached the gate to note that there was a delay of 5 minutes.... Grrrr"

Pro: "I loved the friendly crew who seem to work tirelessly to take care of everyone's needs and have the role of flight attendant, server, and bartender. I personally loved the meals, drinks, and snacks on the flight from London to Las Vegas. It's nice to break up the long hours. Lots of great movies and shows to choose from especially "classics" like Friends and The Truman Show."
Contra: "If there is any way you could please consider taking out a row or two of seats to give everyone just a little more room to breathe and stretch our legs, it would be so appreciated! This makes such a huge difference on our overall mood and feelings of health and well being. We were all so crammed in our seats I could barely move to even reach a book from my bag let alone stretch my legs. Luckily I was sitting next to a very friendly passenger, so it was bareable. But it was a 10 hour flight; that's a long time to sit with moving. There are also tiny corners to stand and stretch our legs but we seemed to be in the airline attendants' way- although they never said anything."

Pro: "After flying internationally in business class for work a number of times, this was my first international flight in economy. Exceeded my expectations."

Contra: "The plane had inseat screens but they said that licensing agreements prevented them from offering any video, games or news selections on a 2.5hr flight. The Pilot said he would turn on the in-flight navigator but it never did work, so I'm not sure what happened there. No internet connection in their fleet yet either. Clearly, this is a first world problem and I would still fly BA. But it's also 2017 and these features aren't "new"; I remember having in-flight entertainment back in the early 2000's on Delta flights in the US, so I'm not sure why it's taking more premium airlines so long to catch up."

The worst company on the planet. Do not fly them. Our vacation has turned into a nightmare. We had to repurchase tickets with a different company so we can get to our final destination. We don't know if we'll get reimbursed for any portion of this."
Contra: "Due to US State Dept travel alert for US Citizen to Europe until Sept 1, I had to postpone the flight. Delta waived the $300 cancelation fee due to the terrorism alert to rebook two other ticket I had purchased. BA said they would but I can not receive confirmation of this until I rebook in the fall. Contra: "Delayed 19 hrs due to crew illness. We were given a hotel room but the promised meal vouchers did not come through and BA would not answer the phone calls of the hotel staff to verify meal money. Missed a whole day of our vacation as we could not reschedule our connection until 24 hrs late. After the long wait the first day to be told what was going on, with much anxiety, on the second day there was also a delay boarding. Although it was short, of course everyone was on edge. And BA did not tell us what was happening!!"

Contra: "Didn't like that the steward put the spray downwards on the floor before flying. They should spray it upwards. They removed the snacks. I would be prepared to pay an extra £10 for unlimited snacks. They need to clean the toilets every few hours as the flight is 13 hours. By the end of the flight the floor of the toilet was disgusting. The cushion was horrible."

Contra: "I booked in August with your company for a trip in December. I booked out of Pittsburgh to Philly both directions to avoid Chicago. I picked seats and also chose British Airways. What I got was my trip to Philly to Manchester with middle of the middle seats (I PAID FOR AISLE). On the way back we got a change through Chicago (which I tried to avoid by booking in August). We did get the proper seats, fortunately. I will never book with your company again. So dissatisfied ....I booked so early and to no advantage."

Contra: "Had worse return flight experience. The flight was supposed to depart at 10am. While everyone was boarded, we were told the airplane missing a part. All of us had to wait for 2 and half hours for the crew to tell us that the part was in London. Thus, the flight had to be canceled. Then we waited to pick up our luggages from 12:30pm to nearly 4pm in order to get transported to a 40- minute drive away Hotel. I was starving because I didn't have breakfast as I tried to catch my flight and no food was provided during the waiting time. Plus, the entire day was wasted. Oh well, at least we were provided accommodation for the overnight, 2:40am breakfast, 4am airport shuttle, and 8am flight to get to our destination next day."
Pro: "Entertainment package at your seat was easy to use and had a wide variety of movies, music, etc. to please anyone. Plane was new and everything worked. Arrived early!!! Captain was best attribute of the crew."
Contra: "Crew seemed to be robotic, no personality, just doing a job. Food was just OK, nothing special, but at least it was somewhat tasty."
