Contra: "Nothing"

Pro: "The in flight service was fantastic. The attendants were friendly and always smiling. The pilots flew the plane with Swiss precision. I had an economy ticket and they fed us twice and had at least six beverage passes to keep you hydrated. A blanket, pillow and ear buds were provided as part of the seat. Norwegian Air does not even cover a glass of water. They are pathetic. We will travel with Swiss Air again."
Contra: "Internet service is invoiced by the megabyte and not the flight. For flights of this duration, a lump sum is a better idea."

I am so frustrated right now!!!"

Contra: "1) my seat was broken (didn't recline) 2) my USB charger... Broken.. 3) my food was in a metal container that was stamped and the ink from the stamp leaked and was pressed across my food. I was literally not about to eat the alphabet... (luckily, a nice attendant came by and apologized, as I know it was not her fault the food came out like this. 4) Rude attendant came over 25 mins after I had turned on my attendant button to ask for a bottle of water. (I turned it on while they were still serving drinks) (also forgot I needed water to take some medicine that required to drink a full glass) She came up to me and my fellow passenger, yelled at BOTH us while she was waving her hands our face. I mentioned to her "it's not polite to treat people this way" she moved her hands closer to my face thrusting her whole body over my fellow passengers face, and continued yelling at me about turbulence (while she's completely avoiding the rule herself.) He and I were both seated and buckled and not bothering anyone. She could've just taken her own lecture and kept ignoring the signal. I wrote about this in customer support letter that the 'NICE' and 'Helpful' attendant Gave to me that sincerely apologized for the previous attendants behavior."

Pro: "I had a super-short connection from Stockholm at Zurich (going to JFK), and I just assumed I'd have to be rebooted, but they held the plane for all of us! Entertainment was excellent, service was great - I really like the food, although I don't eat well on flights. Comfortable - I slept for a few hours. Really great experience (until I hit customs in JFK, but SwissAir has no influence on that :) )"

Contra: "The airport at Vienna airport checked my hand luggage (and many others as well) on a scale. My was ok and I got a red tape stating that it was checked. At check in it was checked again. I have a very small roll on that I specifically bought for flying in Europe. I never had that in the US."

Pro: "It takes two minutes to get to a live operator when you call. Simply amazing."
Contra: "The flight from Nairobi to Zurich starts in Nairobi, flies an hour south to Dar es Salaam, you then sit on the tarmac for an hour, then you fly north for an hour until you get back to the starting point. I would think they would save money if they flew an empty plane down to Dar es Salaam, picked up those passengers and then flew back to Nairobi. No way should an 8.5 hour flight take over 11.5 hours. Plus my screen didn't work for one of the flights, nearly 12 hours without entertainment was BS. No real variety in their meals either. The first leg had a main meal of beef and potatoes as the meat option, same option for the second leg."

Older person male at desk was rude, insulting and sarcastic. This did not happen on Boston end. The person was there with wheelchair at the Boston gate and assisted us. Not in Zurich. What about handicap travel? Swiss????"

Ut took way too long and people had to stand for a long time to board. Crew members were not up to par either. I had my earphones and was watching a movie and feel asleep. And everytime one them passes by, they will knock me awake. I was extremely tired and tried hard to sleep yet they kept waking me up every time one of them passes by, no matter how skinny they were! Totally unprofessional."

Pro: "I never try Austrian airlines because this trip was my first trip with them and I'll say that it's one of the best trips I ever had the airport at Vienna it's very small and easy to go anywhere you want and it's super clean and the stuff at the airport are very helpful and they all speak English and I was able to get a hotel room with walking destination from the airport and it was a very good experience overall I'll definitely recommend to anyone and I'll definitely keep them on my top list"

Known traveler numbers (Glibal Entry) were not askrd at the time of online check in and ad a result, TSA Pre didnt show up on out boarding passes. Agent at the counter coulsnt dix it euther. Surprisingly, very disappointing breakfast."

Pro: "Nothing, we never got to go on our flight to Vienna. The only good thing is the manager, Servando, found us an alternative route after some delay. Even then, we had to haggle and really fight for fair treatment for a mistake that was 100% the airline's fault."
Contra: "Our seats were involuntarily given away by the airport staff. We were never notified until we were scanning our tickets to board in. At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

Pro: "When you travel with an infant it's already a difficult trip but it's really fraustrating when you find out that they didn't assign you to the seats with the baby bassanet, and when I went to the counter to fix the problem instead they change our window seats to an isle seats without even asking or notifying us with the changes, and they when I asked how come you don't automatically assign infant reservations to infant seats their excuse was what if there were more infants than available infant seats and they already gave out those seats with extended leg space to others who already had paid for it, and surprisingly there were multiple of infants on board none of them in those seats but rather the other passengers who paid for it, so basically they got paid extra and you will only suffer for almost 10 hrs so they can make extra profit. NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!"

Pro: "The B-767 is far superior to the B-777 in comfort; it is not so horribly crowded."

None of the machines could read my passport; and when you entered the data by alternative methods it STILL required a machine to read the passport--which it exactly what they were unable to do. Thus, it was a circular Catch 22. I went through six different lady agents working my way through the system, until they finally took my bag and let me go. They themselves said it was new to them and they did not fully grasp how it worked and they did not know why it did not accept me. SOFTWARE PEOPLE BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD."

Contra: "Poor timing - no reason for a 40 minute delay at take off (plane was fully boarded in time) Old aircraft, shabby, dirty and cramped seats. Coming from my connecting flight from Barcelona, I could clearly tell the different in the quality (and cleanliness) of the aircrafts."

Pro: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Contra: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."

Pro: "Overall everything was ok."
Contra: "Not that I cared at the time but having been asked for a rating on “entertainment” - there was none. Cheap and cheerful really. No extras over the likes of RyanAir."

You have to go to different desks to verify passport (!) and pass additional security control where they don't let you carry in any tax free purchases you make at your originating airport although you never leave the transit area. Boarding is chaotic with no staging."

Pro: "Smooth and simple. Great flight!"

Pro: "On time departure, and slightly early arrival. Everything ran smoothly. And seat spacing is quite generous!"
Contra: "It took a while to complete boarding, mostly because of carry-on luggage, but it did not delay departure."

Contra: "The extra customs in Belgrade when the flights are already late is random and ridiculous. The staff makes some people take off shoes but not others, they opened my cartoon accusing me of having a liquid when I had an empty glass container that he’d already been checked at two other checkpoints."

Pro: "The actual takeoff and landing with this airline is usually smooth"
Contra: "Airline is always late with no layover time making journeys stressful. The food and drink is only available for pay. There is no entertainment. There is a small snack which has been expired cookies on all flights I’ve experienced, and the staff seems reluctant to provide it. Boarding involved making everyone wait standing up for more than twenty five minutes corralled into as corner."

Contra: "Everything"

Contra: "I was told my hand luggage needed to go to the cargo, despite it being small enough to be with me. The food was a water bottle and chips. There was more than an hour late to boarding time. The crew were not informative about what was going on. The plane made worrying noises when taking off."

Pro: "The crew on board was helpful, but they can hardly make up for company’s atrocious policies."
Contra: "They made me pay $70 for my carry on luggage - the very same one that I didn’t have to check in on my way to Zurich. The company has obscure luggage policies that could easily qualify as hidden charges. I will do everything I can to avoid flying with Air Serbia in the future."

Pro: "WeII, I didn't die."
Contra: "Everything. They gave us a 10mx10m prison ceII with no windows and no AC to wait in. EVERYONE had to smushed into this room, as each gate area has its own security. Boarding the pIane was pathetic, with us standing in a bus for 20 mins and no expIanation. The back of the seats were faIIing apart."

Pro: "the boarding was smooth, the bus to the plane wasn't crowded and the plane was flying low so you could enjoy the sceneries and still get cell phone reception."
Contra: "the overhead compartment was a bit small and there was almost no leg room but both of my flights were short. I booked my flight through an app and it didn't give me any checked baggage so I tried to modify my booking through airserbia website but I couldn't so I ended up paying 60 euros for my bag at the airport."

Pro: "Ehhhhh I was cool with certain things but nothing to like . The people who work there were nice though."
Contra: "The selection of movies . Very poor . What entertainment?"

Contra: "The worst airline ever. CUSTOEMR SERVICE IS AN UNKNOWN WORD TO THEM. I WILL NEVER FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE AGAIN AND YOU SHOULD REMOVE THEM FROM YORU PROPOSALS."

Contra: "the flight was lite more than 30 minutes. Economy class - you have to pay for the meal? Are they Low Cost Company or ? If so, just tell us like that. Prices are among the highest in the region and all you get is a glass of water and a small bag of snacks."

Contra: "Paid the ticket and check in luggage at Opodo but was informed at the counter that luggage has not been paid for. Denied checking in luggage despite having a printout saying it has been paid for. “The luggage is not in our system” was the only response."

Pro: "Comfortable seats"
Contra: "Crew attitude , allowing oversized baggage in the craft, no food service though it's not LCC."

Pro: "We received a voucher for food during our 4+ Hour delay before boarding on air serbia to Belgrade. Once we arrived in Belgrade, we stayed in the business suite before our flight and was provided with food and couches to relax on before our next flight. Also, on our connecting flight to athens, Aegean airlines was very professional and really wish I would have used their service instead of air serbia."
Contra: "Air serbia did not tell us why there was a 4+ hour delay to belgrade. Once we arrived in Belgrade, we had to wait 9+ hours for our connecting flight to athens when we were only supposed to have 2 hrs layover. Once we boarded the plane to athens, the workers at the airport had no clue were our luggage was and a lot of things were miscommunicated between them. They were very unprofessional and some of them were very rude. They had plenty of time to move our luggage to the next airplane, but too careless to do that. So now we have to wait a couple of days to get the rest of our luggages. We also missed our train ride in greece because of air serbia and had to pay for another train ticket and did not receive a refund"

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "The check in process was a mess was forced to wait in multiple long lines with the worst, unprofessional, disregarding, condescending staff to check in and then another line to pay for luggage. They also force you to pay an additional "seat fee" even if you don't request a specific seat. Horrible customer service, zero regard for customers. Waited in shuttle for 45 minutes before being taken to plane. My air conditioner fan for my seat was completely broken but had to pay for that seat as well. Avoid at all costs. Worst airplane very old and run down. Also the staff for Vienna airport is who you have to go to to pay fees for luggage and THEY ARE THE WORST TO DEAL WITH. Would avoid this airline at all costs."

Contra: "Couldn't log in online because site wouldn't accept any of my credit cards. Got up early to check in at the airport, discovered I was logged in... After all that, the airline changed my seat without warning, moving me from the window seat I selected (and paid for) to a middle seat. Where did they get the idea I would think that was OK? Then the flight was delayed, almost missed my connection. Boarding and exiting the aircraft were zoos. Eminently unrepeatable."

Pro: "Onetime and efficent"

Contra: "Too hot temperature inside te aircraft. Seats uncomfortable"

Pro: "Me gustó que tienen un buen sistema de check-in, embarque y desembarque."
Contra: "El avión era un ATR-72 algo viejo, no era cómodo por dentro. Tampoco me gustó la atención de la tripulación, no pasaron por mi puesto ofreciendo el mísero vaso de agua que daban. En otras aerolíneas de este estilo por lo menos dan café."

Contra: "The fact that, although the card said it was the same company for both flights (two-legged), I could not get a boarding pass at check/in for both flights, for both the outbound and return journey, and had to go through customs and border control twice just to get a new boarding pass each time. Leg room can be better, even with the extended legroom space."

Pro: "It was great experience clean, new plane, smilung staff, flight on time. Quick boarding although the flight was full. Much nicer than Swiss"

Contra: "No entertainment No food for vegetarians"

Contra: "The movies are outdated"

Contra: "We boarded our flight from gate C7, which as is common in Eastern Europe, a bus gate. To enter the gate, we were completely rescreened, although we had been screened to go from Bucharest to Belgrade. We waited on the bus for 15 minutes. Only a few seats on the bus so it is a standup experience. Finally the bus started driving to the parked planes, but turned away and drove to a where you would exit the bus after arriving. They told everyone to go upstairs where they explained that there was a "technical problem" on then plane and it would be delayed an hour. They sent everyone to gate A4a, where everyone was prescreened again. We waited in a hot gate for an hour, then boarded the bus and to make a long story short, we arrived in Zagreb 1 and a quarter hours late."

Pro: "I liked the price I paid for the flight and the legroom between the seats - as I'm fairly tall - 6'3"/over 190sm, that was a big concern for me and that's why I didn't go with other carriers. I ended up having an entire row of 4 seats to myself, so I was able to stretch out and get some sleep. Flight attendants were coming around very often with drinks."
Contra: "I expected to get an e-mail with an offer to upgrade to Business Class as I was flying a day before my birthday, so I was in a mood to treat myself - but unfortunately, that never came. Once on board, when the meal was served, the breakfast meal had the scrambled eggs soaked with water, so didn't get the amazing food that others have talked about., Before landing, we were served a long sandwich that was very amateurish. Boarding was chaotic - as typical in many places in Europe, there is no boarding order - just people forming a line and getting on the plane."

Pro: "The flight attendants were courteous and advised passengers they can move around once boarding completed."
Contra: "The flight was operated by a avery small plane, so we were advised to leave the carryons outside to be put in the hold. Once on the plane, I thought my bag would fit in the overhead bin. Also, was annoyed that flight attendants would approach you speaking Serbian, which I don't."

Pro: "On time, professional"
Contra: "food could be better"

Pro: "The seat, flexibility were great..and food are tasty and delicious"
Contra: "The crew was not friendly for the flight to Belgrade"

Pro: "On my two two hour flights, they fed us a lot, we're very attentive and very nice."

Pro: "Short flight so the lack of enterntainmet was not a problem. Clean airplane, tidy and very friendly staff. Food and drinks very fine compared to duration of the flight. Deparure on time, same with arrival."
Contra: "As I said this flight was on time, but the previous, CDG - BEG was delayed one hour."

Contra: "The cabin temperature was too warm and we had to keep asking for water to stay hydrated. Not enough drinks were offered. It was a long, uncomfortable flight."

Contra: "This is a rating for our entire experience which was awful. In our area you were unable to check in online or use a kiosk. That meant every person on the flight had to check in at the airport. There were no lines, no directions, just a mob at the desk. Once onboard the intercom went out during taxi. We had to turn around. No information was given as we sat on the taxiway. We finally took off late and again no information was given about connections. When we asked we were told "don't worry the Belgrade airport is small". luckily the flight from Belgrade to Athens was also late so we made the connection. Departing Athens was difficult as well. Online Air Serbia was showing our flight was cancelled due to a possible air traffic controller stike which did not happen. We called Air Serbia and were informed the flight was not cancelled. "Just show up at the airport" we were told. We showed up more than 2 hours early and waited in line to be told we were not in their system along with 2 other couples by a very curt airport employee. We waited an hour, despite all of us having proof of paid tickets. Again, no information was given. They finally confirmed the first leg, Athens to Belgrade but not the 2nd, Belgrade to Stuttgart. We waited again and finally were given boarding passes. We were not apologized to, offered an up grade or really afforded any customer service. One of the other couples discovered on their own, that due to the possible strike, Air Sebia had indeed cancelled everyone's bookings and "forgot" to re-enter some. Leaving Athens we were also late on take off. Again not given any information and barely made our connection to Stuttgart. At this time given our experience we could not recommend Air Serbia."

Contra: "They woke me up for a meal. My bad to forget earplugs or ask for some."

Pro: "Huge legs space for economy class, great service!!!"

Pro: "Flight overall was unremarkable. Aircraft was almost twenty years old and looked it."
Contra: "Boarding via a bus was painful and inefficient. BA is selling more flights than it can accommodate at Terminal 5. Because plane was so old, the screens for the entertainment are laughably small and faded. Seats themselves are tired, with wobbly and dirty tray tables, and seatbacks that don't recline properly. Seat power is the outdated Empower standard, which doesn't work without a special adapter which virtually nobody has."

Pro: "It was great."

Contra: "Our reservation on the initial flight have been cancelled. We had to take the next day flight. British Airways and American Airlines accused the other to be responsible so it took us 4 hours at the counter -with our 5 and 3 years old- to be rebooked and we payed the hotel night!"

Contra: "This was not a low cost flight such as Ryan Air, etc. I expect British Airways to provide at least complimentary water, which they did not! Come on! For $240 per ticket you could at least offer a free glass of water and a pack of peanuts."

Contra: "all"

Contra: "Seating is a big problem. I am only 192 cm tall and cannot really fit my legs into the space. Have them out in the corridor"

Contra: "The seats are too small no entertainment No fast track for business class"

Pro: "Boarding and the flight itself were uneventful. Departure slightly early and arrival consequently early too."
Contra: "Paying for simple tea or coffee? I know a profit needs to be made but come on! I was missed completely by the cabin service the first time, and had to ask for tea on the second. I don’t know when they started charging for tea, but it was unwelcome, cool, and not particularly refreshing. I expect better of BA."

Pro: "Not much - inflated BA fare for mediocre offering; definitely not business class when compared to proper premium airlines."
Contra: "Cramped seats. Poor food. Disorganized boarding more soon to low cost budget carriers. Which is what BA competes against now, albeit for premium prices."

Pro: "Snacks or water had to be purchased No in flight entertainment Crew not so nice"

Pro: "Crew was friendly and helpful, food was ok."
Contra: "The flight was delayed by roughly 5 hours, causing us to miss our connection and have to wait for the next flight. We missed a half day in Rome and instead spent over 8 hours waiting in airports. The seats were also terribly worn and uncomfortable."

Contra: "Having to pay for tea, coffee and water is outrageous Flight late."

Pro: "BA crews are always great. Also excellent that they don’t have those annoying M&S menus on LCY flights. I don’t object to paying, but it just slows everything down."

Pro: "The staff was nice"
Contra: "You've got to pay for a can of ginger ale now? When did British Airways become a budget airline? What a joke. The plain is an old outfitting with flip down screens and whatnot. It's not like we need these things for shorter fights, but why would anyone pay more to fly a nicer airline if you're treated like you're on Ryan Air?"

Pro: "This was a very full flight and the crew were exceptionally patient with everyone. Much appreciated."

Contra: "They cancel my flight the day before"

Pro: "Flight was on time"
Contra: "Seats could not be pre-assigned without extra payment. Also, not sure if all miles get credited"

Contra: "Carrier was small. Crew could have been more helpful and courteous."

Pro: "The drinks were great, however the food specifically the salmon meal (Great Britain breakfast) seemed to be missing something. The stewardess mentioned my partner to have the chicken as there was only a portion of the meal. But, I paid £24 for the meal. Although, the vegan and veggie meals were great!"
Contra: "Next time I will pay more attention to the two row seating and pay for seats in that area of the plane. Other than that, good service."

Contra: "BA 884 and BA 885 (a 3 hours flight!) had no water , coffee and food at all !!! PLEASE HELP US !!!"

Contra: "I was offended to have to pay for a coke. 2lbs. PLease. Then I was told loudly my credit card was denied. Amazing. An hour later that same card was approved to arrange professional driver to take my family to our hotel. THat same attendant offended yet another passenger who mistakenly put her carryon in a cubby where the medical kit is stored. THe passenger created "a dangerous situation". Please"

Pro: "Great crew."

Pro: "The crew was great & the food was great too. Service was excellent, very friendly. Managed to get a window seat. It was perfect, a little cozy nook of my own. The 787 had only 7 seats in a row, the configuration was better, more comfortable."

Pro: "There is nothing to like. I paid for three return tickets from Amsterdam to London. My family and I were at airport and couldn't get on the flight. Even return trip wasn't honored. I made a mistake by choosing this carrier and would never do this or even recommend British Airline to anyone. . What disaster."

Pro: "Absolutely nothing"
Contra: "Flight was delayed by 2 hours. Then they bumped us out of the seats we had reserved. Made it just in time for our connection. Then they bumped us from that flight. Others were given generous compensation for that bump. However we were given nothing. At least they us we could rest in the BA lounge because I am elderly and disabled and we would have a 9 hour wait. Got to the lounge and we were not listed in the system. So we were denied entrance. We will have have spent 2 nights on a plane and 36 hours instead of one night and 16 hours. Rotten way to depend your 50th anniversary."

Pro: "Nothing."
Contra: "Flight was delayed in the middle of boarding with no AC when board. Luggage was broken. Missed connection to California due to delay."

Pro: "Luggage delayed."

Pro: "Overall quick, easy and event free...just as flights should be."
Contra: "Plane got a little hot sitting at the gate and our seats were the only ones that didn't have air vents."

Contra: "Food was not good"

Contra: "Told there was meal and then asked to pay for it - show be clear when booking!"

Pro: "The seat was nice and movies onboard were entertaining."
Contra: "No personal AC vents; one small "meal" in the first hour followed by one small snack of popcorn a few hours later on 11-hour flight made it seem longer."

Contra: "Nothing."

Pro: "As ever, BA Flight attendants are courteous and approachable - consistently one of the best adverts fort the airline."
Contra: "Poor quality of service and courtesy provided by outsourced ground handling providers"

Contra: "Not really friendly. Nothing to drink. Super separated from my husband. Baby crying the whole time."

Pro: "The connecting flight got canceled and 24 hours latter we are still in the airport trying to get to our final destination."
Contra: "We rebooked our flight to another flight firvthe following day and that one got canceled too. They have not returned our luggage yet. They said within a week we'll get our luggage. The worst company on the planet. Do not fly them. Our vacation has turned into a nightmare. We had to repurchase tickets with a different company so we can get to our final destination. We don't know if we'll get reimbursed for any portion of this."

Pro: "Very full flight but all went efficiently and smoothly. Staff excellent as usual."
Contra: "Nothing I can think of."

Pro: "The staff were friendly and boarding/ getting off were a breeze. I loved how much space the aircraft had inside."

Pro: "Boarding process and crew were efficient."
Contra: "Seats were super-cramped, could not lean back to anything approaching a comfortable level, food was very ordinary, and the entertainment choices extremely limited."

Pro: "Once you get to the plane the service is incredible. The planes are comfortable and the food is worth paying for."

Contra: "we're professional musicians who fly all the time with fragile equipment. the airline applied an overweight baggage fee (fair enough, normally) but their payment system was down. rather than waive the fee, we were made to wait an hour to pay 150 euros. after scrambling through security we narrowly missed our flight. rebooking took hours and involved going back through security all over again, having our equipment searched for the second time. when it came time to gate-check our guitars, the airline lost them. we wound up boarding our connection to JFK with no idea where they were. finally they turned up on the baggage belt. we would never and have never agreed to send these delicate items through general baggage. One guitar (50 year old gintage guitar) was broken in the process and another of our hard cases was damaged and needs to be replaced. Completely unacceptable from start to finish."

Contra: "I was surprised that I had to put some "crisps" on my credit card (and a bottle of water, despite being severely dehydrated for other reasons) - they can't throw a bag of peanuts our way anymore? Help a brotha out!"

Pro: "Got lucky and flew in a 777-300ER, very good flight experience overall."
Contra: "Perhaps a savory snack towards the arrival would have been better."
