Fly Dubai flights (partnered with Emirates) are usually late/delayed on short hauls (eg RUH to DXB) and because it’s a 737 Max 8 or 9 it’s cramped. Pretty rubbish actually.

Not sure, how Emirates is getting away with this discriminatory attitude, while rest of airlines do allow -Carry on + a personal item. 2. There is no check on the carry-on weight at SFO airport. While in DXB, they entice customer to buy all duty free and then when it comes to boarding, you will be 'shocked'. No more than 10kg allowed. 3. You will be directed to read instructions before boarding. Then the corruption deal starts...read point 4 4. The man will say, remove anything in excess of 10kg or pay extra luggage, knowing very well, that people buy duty free at DXB. 5. Once you start negotiating, then the deal-making starts... 6. I carried my cabin bag from Seattle with weight of 9kgs and purchased few duty free items of 2kgs(2 liquor bottles and1 dates box). They have asked me to pay $150 for excess weight. One passenger traveled from Houston with a bag of 11kgs. Items include 1 laptop documents and tablet. She didn't shop in Dubai. She was allowed in Houston but was charged $100 in Dubai for same weight."

I reached airport 4 hours before departure and I get treated like this, horrible service."

She tells me in a faint voice "sir you may not make this flight". After that she tells me to check back 1 hour before the flight leaves. So I do, another teller states you made the flight please go to security. I have 45 minutes before the flight is schedule to leave at 3pm. I rush with my wife from one part of DXB to the other. Somehow make it there, but then have to wait for over 2 hours because of a connecting flight being delayed, unbelievable. Then when we land and I try to claim my bag, the bags are lost. Not just mine quite a few passengers. I go to baggage claim and the teller is screaming at me and other passangers "shut up, I don't care about your bag". This is the most disrespectful moment of the trip, never have I experienced a customer service provider yell at me like this. This experience is a direct reflection of emirates lack of management in their hiring process, as well as their ability to train their staff in high stress environments. Will I fly emirates again probably not, paying a premium for below average service is not worth it. The cabin crew were very thoughtful and respectful and made the trip bareable, their ground crew is anot her story."

Contra: "Dear, Team Emirates Airlines Good afternoon, I would like to share my horrible Customer Experience that happened to me in my whole life experiences with airline services. On Sunday March the 13th my wife Dyma Gharaibeh and my daughter Retal Aly were travelling to Jordan on ur airways for the 1st time from 15 year's to try such service and to face this experience. I've been always dealing with Lufthansa airlines throughout my entire life and heard that emirates airlines serves passengers good service and hospitality so i said to myself why not trying them to my wife and daughter this time and see there service and what they can offer. But as shown to me 1st and last time to even mention on my mind to travel on this kind of terifying service ever. They had a delay in the dubai airport for an hour they changed flights so that they won't be late, but by the time they changed the flights so quickly to go to the other plan to go to Jordan the luggage of my wife and daughter were on the other plan that came from Dallas, Texas. The horrible mistake that was made is that luggages EK 021286 & EK 021287 & EK 021288 & EK 021289 was still in the plan that was coming from dallas and no one even checked that my wife Dyma Gharaibeh and Retal Aly was the only two passengers on the flight that were going to Jordan. Which i call in very loud voice unprofessional by all means for a huge airways like Emirates that represents the whole UAE. They arrived to Jordan with no bags at all and they stayedfor whole two days with out clothes plus the stress they were in for having that offal feeling that they lost there bags . The big huge complain from me today is that my wifes brother wedding was yesterday the day they received the bags at night which they received the bags after the wedding was over. .. They missed the wedding dress in the bag for both of them tell me the feeling of you as a huge company that should be aware of every single problem that could happen to the customers that deals with you. You made that day from being an amazing day full of fun and joy for them to get dressed and going to the wedding of her brother and be like everyone in the wedding to not going to the wedding because they didn't have enough time in a day to get another dresses for both of them. This nightmare was not taken into consideration the office in Jordan didn't answer at all for several times i tried to reach them and couldn't because of there lake of professionalism. Even after the bags arrived no body even sent an email or tried to check on the case or even if we r satisfied or not. Very very very poor service. Hell of a NIGHTMARE..... Seriously one word shame on you as a huge big company like you to have us have this disgusting experience with you guys Seriously, there is not enough words to express the anger i have inside of me from Emirates Airlines and showed share this disgusting customer experience everywhere. . I think this will be my last time in my entire life"

I request for vegetarian food but they are asking me what kind of food you want. Service is slow.

Personalul foarte amabil si prietenos însă foarte frig in cabine in special pentru un zbor de noapte. Venind dintr-o tara unde minima este de 24 de grade sa stai timp de 5 ore la o temperatura de maxim 16-17 grade si in curent nu a fost prea plăcut.

Contra: "Too hot in the plane - was far too hot. too late the drink...after I eaten."
Contra: "I bought my seat assignment in advance, and they did not give me this seat on the plane. Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

I showed them that I was indeed in a back brace for a health condition and that I needed opportunities to move and shift, cross legs to release tension, etc. Staff sided with the rude woman, who, given the chance to move to an equal seat on the opposite aisle where she could recline, refused to move. I was very frustrated and have never been treated with such discrimination regarding my health concerns."

I didn't like also strange option for Golden members in economy seats to be able to "order" food before regular people. There were only 3 options and everyone had the same choice. So basically all that crew does is just asking which course gold members want an hour before serving. It seemed silly with no actual benefit."

It was a pleasure to travel with Turkish Airlines. Excellent food, entertainment, and staff, not to mention the little pouches with basic necessities for the flight and the safety bags. It really gives you the feeling that this company cares for the comfort and safety of their clients.

Contra: "The route from Bucharest to Istanbul could be shorter and the way from the airplane to the airport could be through the jetway not through the uncomfortable buses."

Contra: "We did not like anything about the trip to Houston from Istanbul. To sart with, we were told by Turkish Airline staff to go to the gate more than 1 hour EARLIER than the flight to Houston. Once we arrived at the gate, we were told "I cannot help you with anything about your flight. That is another department" and we to wait our turn and wait for someone to take us down the jetway. We waited for 75 minutes (1.25 hours) until after EVERY OTHER PASSENGER was on board. The flight attendant was unresponsive to us, talked down to my husband and me in a way that was insulting, rude, demeaning and very nasty. When another passenger complained that he did not get the seat that the attendant just changed for him, FOUR flight attendants helped him - one person got on the phone with someone (I don't know who), another went down to his seat to see where he was sitting. Yet another came and tried to explain why they couldn't help and finally a fourth tried to speak with another attendant on board. Whether or not his problem was solved, I don't know, but this was in the middle of our conversation (with only one attendant, I will add), and so his attention was taken away from us and put on him. Our seats were changed from seats closest to the bathroom to the middle of the plane. My husband cannot walk so 14 rows walking was not possible. I will say that finally, it took three volunteers who offered their seats to us to sit near the much needed bathroom. Regarding being seated near the bathrooms, when we asked for an aisle chair (that they told us they had on board) we were told to "stand there. we will get one in around 10 minutes). And, the wheelchair was sent all the way to the BAGGAGE CLAIM and NOT GATE CHECKED, when we arrived in Houston, we can clearly see the frame is bent, the wheels are out of alignment and the brake is also bent out of shape. The wheelchair is a custom made chair just for my husband. We will be sending Turkish Airlines the bill for a new chair if it cannot be repaired. I hope you can see to address these problems. I am not hopeful it is not normally like this for Jews who wear their head coverings. I appreciate that the attendants wanted to visit with her and give her their attention but it kept her from sleeping and woke me up. Since she had no proper place to use the bathroom she needed to be sleeping to keep her body clock in order."

In the US, I would have been put on the next available flight fee of charge. I will never fly Turkish Airlines again."

For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

The agent was rude and refused to listen. My mother who was three people in front of me in another line Carried the same bag on with no issues . Be consistent

My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."
