Pro: "The check-in crew in Chicago was very nice and efficient. The flight crew on-board were not friendly, they were very curt and rushed, and did not go out of their way to be helpful."

Contra: "Due to a misunderstanding at check-in we have been seated away from a baby bassinette (although booked) to sit together with my husband, nobody asked what my preference would be (sitting as a whole family or having a bassinette) and a 17-hour flight with a 9month old baby constantly on my lap was challenging. Also a very disappointing selection of films and documentaries for adults. I ended watching a kids movie with my older daughter and it was the only thing I found appealing. Kids section very good though, my 5-year old was glued to the screen and all the options had my approval :)"

Contra: "- Tiny, cramped seats and aisles. I'd heard the Quatar has more leg room than other airlines. This is definitely not true. If the person in front of me reclined all the way, they crushed my knees and I'm only 5'7". - Bathrooms were dirty by 4 hours into the 14 hour flight. Sinks clogged, garbage can overflowing. Not just one bathroom. Gross. - Worst flight attendant service I've ever had, and I don't expect much since I've traveled a lot. Service was rushed, coffee cart for our side of plane never arrived, when I walked to the back to ask for some, they couldn't find the milk and made a fuss about looking for sugar. Lots of similar examples throughout the flight. - The baggage claim carousel number never appeared on the screens at IAD after landing. Other flights showed but not Quatar. We waited a while then walked around to check them all until we found the right carousel. Never seen this happen before. - One of our bags never appeared, so we waited until all luggage had come out and checked with the counter. They found our bag somewhere and brought it over after a 20 minute wait. No explanation given. Good thing we'd counted bags."

Pro: "I have been spoiled with the large planes, so the small ones to me are cramped, but thats with all carriers not just Lufthansa. I generally prefer to fly Lufthansa when heading to Europe."

Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

I was assigned last row and middle seat, I could not change seat when there were other seats available at check-in. United would not let agents change either. Maybe kayak related? Contra: "The connecting flight departed before the first flight landed. Then I was given the wrong information of gate departure by airport personnel. After running like crazy to find this gate for departure, the plane had already departed before we even landed. There wasn’t anyone around to help, and finally I found an airport worker who gave me the same incorrect information. She was as perplexed as was I. Finally, she directed me to the information booth where I was booked in a flight the next day. The food voucher was insufficient to cover dinner, i had to pay out of my pocket but I was frugal given the financial situation. The taxi service personnel were rude and it took a long time to taxi me to the hotel where I am unable to sleep because I have an early morning g departure. All in all, between the airport delays getting me to the hotel, lack of proper food and treatment by personnel, I am exhausted and lost sleep in the process."

In Europe, we are annoyances that depend on staff at the boarding gates to get on the plane, so power tripping and general disdain to customers beings confused are part of the game. I will try never to fly Austrian Airlines again. Absolutely unacceptable behavior toward families, mothers with children, senior citizens. I can almost see the smirks and annoyed and superior attitude of staff at the boarding gate when they had to deal with more passengers asking why boarding hasn't started half an hour ago when we were announced it would. No answers, just show me the passport and boarding pass, ok, please go back, we'll let you know, then ignore questions."

I was told no better seat(s) was available. However, a half hour before the flight was boarded several announcements were made regarding all the upgrades that were available. Liars annoy me."

So, I can't rate this flight because it had nothing to do with Austrian Airlines. You need to update your site so that it clearly states "Operated by..." when people are booking."

Contra: "Flight from Dulles to Vienna was cancelled in the morning on the day of departure. We contacted Austrian and rebooked with Air France. The Air France flights were good overall. The food was okay, entertainment excellent, comfort good, boarding good, crew okay. On flight to Paris, the crew did not serve water during the period between dinner and the service before landing."

The police agreed that they get lots of complaints from this airline. The crew on board was just as nasty. If you spoke russian you got treated better."

He did not even offer fruits as substitute. One of the crew member did not seem friendly at all. rather grumpy at times. Most of them do not speak decent English so it is hard to communicate with them anyways."

Contra: "they say their fleet is very young but it feel like flying in the 60'!"

Pro: "They're no better than anyone else, but no worse either. They pack you in, but for the fare we were paying, we couldn't complain. Air crew was friendly and polite. A few little goodies (slippers on a long flight)."

Pro: "Aeroflot has a new fleet of Boeing 737-800, which I used on my flight from Belgrade to Moscow and back."
Contra: "Well, unfortunately, the service is still very moderate, to say the least. They speak poorely any non-Russian language (say, English). During both flights, I ordered juice and coffee, and they either didn`t understand me, or were just unkind enough to give me only one of those (although during my return flight, they said that they couldn`t boil the water due to turbulence). Their seats arrangement is uncomfortable, especially for tall persons (as me)."

Contra: "Worst flying experience. Very over obese guy and his wife (at least 6'3" and 400 ibs) were seated next to me. I never had that ever happen to me and during the flight from LA to Moscow, the guy's body for 12 hrs was all over me and sweaty. Most disgusting. It was an invasion of my private space and taking the right to my seat because his body was on my seat. No human being should suffer through that experience I ordered special meal and it was all plain and vegitarian even though I am not vegiterian"

Pro: "The seats were comfortable..the crew was awesome and polite...got to and from with no problems at all..this was my first overseas trip..I will definitely be using Aeroflot again in the future.....great trip"

You serving and respecting people coming from west excellently but terrible for poor people of Pakistan. Some of them were elderly coming from Umra on connecting flight and air hostesses were almost screaming at them. Shame Emirate Shame."

Contra: "There was non-existent service. No water, no coffee, no snack....no one asking if you needed anything, no warmth from attendants."

Contra: "I didn't expect everything to need paying for, even water, considering we spent 6 and half hours in the air with FlyDubai, I had the wrong currency and a non credit card, so even though I was desperate for water I was not aloud one as I couldn't pay for it, the crew just said "sorry", so I went a few hours really uncomfortable"

Pro: "It was a short quick flight."
Contra: "It took a long time to check in and they lost my son's luggage."

Pro: "The pilot did his best to save me time but in vain. Plane was not as contested , more leg room. Good planes."

Contra: "The crew was incredibly rude. One flight attendant yelled at me to take my seat even after i told him the seat was wet. He insisted the plane didn't come from anywhere so it could not be wet. I showed him how it was so wet that it soaked my pants and told him it smelled like beer. He seemed annoyed i was bothering him and said he would replace the seat cushion. It took ten minutes before he replaced the cushion. When he did he threw it over the seatbelt preventing me from bucking up. I told him the arm rest and side of the plane were sticky from whatever had spilled. He ignored me and walked away. Another attendant came by and told me to buckle up before landing. I explained the situation that I did not have access to the belt to her for the second time and she rudely told me to move my seat. When I requested a new seat before the flight the first attendant told me no that was the seat I had paid for. Ignoring the fact that I had also paid for a dry seat. Now when the flight is landing my safety suddenly became a priority. Its safer to say I will not be recommending this airline."

Contra: "This is not exactly a low cost airline because FlyDubai charges egular prices for BEG-DXB flights, therfore, passagers should be offered a complimentary drink and food on a 5 hours flight for the price we paid."

Contra: "This airline was terrible. They treat customers with no respect. It was uncomfortable, dirty and service was poor. They came once with the cart and charged even for water on a 4 hour flight. The expensive sandwich was old and stale. Entertainment system didn't work. I would avoid this airline at all cost."

Contra: "You should warn people who are purchasing one ticket from two airlines about flydubai being a different terminal. It caused a great amount of stress to have to go through immigration, get my luggage, exchange money in order to pay for a taxi to get to the other terminal. I barely made my connection. I was not a happy customer yesterday."

Pro: "The overall was ok"
Contra: "The return flight was expensive with no luggage allowance. We pay lots of many for one 18 KG. I don't know why 3 tickets not get allowance for at least 21 KG! is that will make the flight go down?!"

Contra: "Crew was very polite. No complimentary entertainment for such a long flight. Entertainment consoles put off lots of heat and not consistently working."

Pro: "Easy boarding process, no issues with crew service."
Contra: "Nothing available without a charge, not even water."

Pro: "Not much actually, apart from being able to get home."
Contra: "Charter behaviour on a long distance flight? Well that is a new low in airlines. Well maybe except from Delta. I guess i can be happy that the crew did not drag people out and i managed to travel safely. That being said, having to pay for everything including water, snack (let alone food) or entertainment on a long distance flight is at least, excuse my French, a dick move. Not pleasant in any way."

Contra: "I had an emergency and wanted to delay my flight, but they asked me to pay for a penalty that was almost the tickets prices."

Pro: "The staff was very helpful."
Contra: "It's a pay for what you get kind of airline, but that is to be expected. Overall good."

Pro: "The terminal we were waiting in, not organised well, very messy, smelling very bad except in lounge that Cost 40$ for 2 hours with discount. So I'm having a layover 12 hours, I pay 240$ just I can sit in a non smelling place and eat some food. Adjust some of these and would be great. Other terminals have so much to offer in same airport, over rated Dubai airport."

Pro: "Cheap flight"
Contra: "Very uncomfortable"

Pro: "The staff at Dubai were very helpful and efficient at arranging for overnight hotel accommodation and meals at the airlines expense. I suspect they have had a lot of practice with delayed flights!"
Contra: "1. Fly Dubai flight from Kathmandu was 5 hours late in departing, so I missed my connection in Dubai, had to stay overnight and was ultimately 18 hours late in reaching my final destination. 2. Paying for food and drink (even water!) on a 5+ hour international flight is ridiculous. I don't know any other airline that does this. US airlines on domestic flights at least provide soft drinks, water, tea and coffee and the odd snack free. 3. No entertainment. A big minus on such a long flight."
