Contra: "The flight attendants on the Dubai to Singapore flight were surprisingly unhelpful. It was a mostly empty flight and yet during this flight, there were very infrequent beverage service. When I activated my call flight attendant button, no one stopped by. This included at least 3 different flight attendants passing me, some more than a few times, and not once did anyone stop. After waiting for 10 - 15 minutes, I turned off the light and went to the galley part of the plane, only to find a group of flight attendants socializing. I requested a drink and it was handed to me without the attendant every making eye contact as the attendant still was facing and engaged in their conversation. This is not the first time I have experienced this on an Emirates flight so I think the staff training may need to be reinforced. Business class service on Emirates is quite good. But I fly both Economy and Business class. The experiences in Economy did affect my decision on which airline I generally fly with for business class travel."

I should have suspected a problem when I was requested to change seat in order to assist a family who were in separate seats. Moving was difficult as the plane was being loaded. I managed to get to the seat offered to find someone sitting in it. To top it off the individual was wearing a surgical mask and carrying a large immigration bag. I requested a seat forward but I was denied and I later saw other passengers moved forward to seats that I was denied. If I had known that the flight would have been full of possibility sick immigrants I would have chosen another flight or airline. At certain times the smells were very bad. I felt as a ff member I should have been treated better or been made aware of possible health risks."

Qatar Airway is a hyper money hungry scammer who catches customers to rip money off from and creates a super tedious and painful experience for customers to ensure their private gains!!! Qatar Airway was delayed for more than an hour at the first departing airport! NO APOLOGIES OR MUCH EXPLANATION OF ANY KIND!! This is just how mindful and courteous they are. It sets the base tone of what this airline is made of. Then at the connecting airport, they closed the gate minutes before the departing time claiming the gate closes 20 minutes before the departing time, knowing they are leaving customers behind who has checked in and just haven’t arrived at the gate yet. And I arrived the gate minutes before the departure time. They can’t wait?! If so, why is it ok for them to delay for an hour without any explanation not to mention apology? Sure there are RULES. But remember what kind of airlines will have tons of rules that will guarantee you to fail?! Almost always the most shady, scammy and money hungry airlines who use ridiculous or ad hoc made RULES to set pitfalls for customers and ensure their profit gains by doing so!! Remember those European cheap airlines?!! They have tons of rules. You are set to fail even you have a smaller bags than some passengers who passed the gate without penalty. You are just unlucky – they set eyes to catch opportunities to rip you off whenever they can and whenever they are in the mood to be able to come up with lame excuses. With normal airlines, you realize your luggage which has been slightly overweight or over sized will be able to pass through without incurring any penalties. So any saying of rules are lame excuses and are shitty airlines’ lame excuses. The thing is good airlines will delay their flight a few minutes to wait for the passenger. If this is considered too needy of a requirement, then what happens next will shock you and reaffirm you how wrongful and shady this airline is. After missing the flight despite you arrived before the departing time, you have to purchase a full price ticket in order to fly again. As I declined to fly with them again since the ticket is too pricey and repurchased a ticket with another airline, they came up with an excuse that in order to release my luggage, they have to reissue a new flight ticket: so I have to pay both a luggage release fee and a flight ticket fee!!! What a gold digger Qatar Airway is haha. Luckily as I protested, they eventually didn’t make me to pay for a new flight ticket fee except a luggage release fee (really?). The sales office quoted a price of $250 to the luggage office. Then it took me a few minutes to get to the sales office. Strange thing happened, despite I mentioned the communication they are aware of, they are trying to find some “RULES” again to validate that I have to pay for an air ticket. I emphasized that is not the case. As I get irritated, guess what they did? They managed to come up with another excuse that in or"

I found out that the ticket fare did not contain checked luggage ( so I had to pay a hefty fee for it ) and also my 20" wheeled case that was ok in all the other flights I took it with me, this time was oversized and overweight . My wife took out the 2 laptops so it became within weight limits but still oversized - My wife paid for the fee ( I wasn't there at the time and she is not a such experienced flyier as I am ) . When I found out about the fee, I checked their rules and I found out that the hand luggage is allowed to be 22" . I saw in the airplane a lot of people with cases having the same size as mine, that went as checked luggage at a cost fo around 40 . I want to see how can I get my money back . . ."

Contra: "SWISS always turns on the air conditioning too high on intercontinental flights. It is HOT inside the cabins. The entertainment system is very outdated, small screen and old and used hand set. Claiming to be a premium airline is unfortunately very overstated if you are unlucky to catch the old business class planes. Only few have changed to the new versions (777s) - Make sure to catch those."

Contra: "I do not like the cramped space that we are in. It was difficult for my husband and I to get in and out of our seats. The passenger in front of me pushed her seat back and it seemed as though she was righ in my face. She could not go upright as the person in front of her was pushed all the way back. This situation also makes eating difficult. The flight yesterday was extremely warm, which I had not experienced on my three former flights. I guess I will try your airlines once more and see how it is for a third trip."
Contra: "Sound for on-screen entertainment not working. It was static-y all the time and completely cut out the rest of the time. I made various attempts to solve the problem, switching headphones, switching to my own headphones (which can't really be done because they have a two-prong jack and personal headphones are always one). I tried watching different movies, programs, music...it wasn't the material I was watching that was the problem. I asked the flight attendant to reset my console. That didn't work either. I just ended up reading my book the entire 9 hour trip."

Contra: "- No special treatment for Star Alliance Gold Member - Crew member forgotten my drink order completely - Entertainment system was not working after 7 Restart attempts - The whole entertainment system is very 90's - OLD and ready to retire - There were crumbs or foods left over from previous flights on my seat and tomato sauce on the tray table - Foods selections was not that great"

Contra: "Food was rather awful (other than the Movenpick ice cream). fold-out table and materials of seat seemed pretty cheaply made. Also not enough legroom. Hard to get service to come for your seat for extra water. Chocolate at end of flight was a cute touch."

Contra: "i am a regular sized woman, size 8, and a bit tall 5'9" and the seat felt wayyyy to small for me. couldn't put my hands naturally by my sides and the arm rests were too high to be comfortable, so i had to sit there with my shoulders held up the entire flight. was so sore afterwards!! also, the headphones barely worked (only one side, on the replacement as well!) and the entertainment system shut down twice."
It was a pleasure to travel with Turkish Airlines. Excellent food, entertainment, and staff, not to mention the little pouches with basic necessities for the flight and the safety bags. It really gives you the feeling that this company cares for the comfort and safety of their clients.

Contra: "The route from Bucharest to Istanbul could be shorter and the way from the airplane to the airport could be through the jetway not through the uncomfortable buses."

Contra: "Stop boarding pets on a transatlantic 11.5 hours long flight - if the owners are nuts (although they swear they love their pets) air companies must be more responsible. The first air company that will refuse to cabin board pets will be my only company to fly for the rest of my life. Sometimes, saying NO is the right answer."

There weren’t willing to do it on their own( being civil is a learned skill) and refused to allow someone else to take a nep on the extra seats as if they had paid for it."

Pro: "Gave us direct flight back to Singapore in premium economy seats."
Contra: "This is our second experience of flights being cancelled via Turkish Airlines. Very disappointing customer care when flights get cancelled. Staff totally unprepared and untrained for such situations. We waited around for 6 hours before finding out on our own, that the flight was cancelled. The notice was not shown on the board. In all waited around at the airport for more than 10 hours before we were finally carted off to a small hotel near by at 1230am in the morning. Very little to no information given throughout the whole process, stranded with parched throats, no luggage, clean clothes or toothbrush."
Pro: "The rear exit of the plane. The cabin crew were very attentive, almost too much. I brought my cat and she didn't get to sleep much. I appreciate that the attendants wanted to visit with her and give her their attention but it kept her from sleeping and woke me up. Since she had no proper place to use the bathroom she needed to be sleeping to keep her body clock in order."
Contra: "HOT AIRPORT AND PLANE...no overhead fan on the plane to cool off. Food not very tasty. My seat was switched after it was reserved to accommodate another passenger without my knowledge. The reason was not a valid one."

Contra: "I was at the gate for my flight from Istanbul to Bucharest but 25 minutes before departure I noticed that passengers were lining up at a different gate so I asked what happened. I was told the flight had departed even though it was still 25 minutes before flight time. I then had to go to ticket sales where they charged me $425 dollars for the 80 minute flight to Bucharest. In the US, I would have been put on the next available flight fee of charge. I will never fly Turkish Airlines again."

Even though as she said, we were about to take off, but she didn't say anything to the man in front of me. This was my second time flying with them and the first experience was much better."

Pro: "The attendant at check in was anything but attentive. We asked if the flight was full and she replied with a face gesture that indicated 'no' (it was a 1.50am flight) so we asked if possible to upgrade with points and she totally ignored, spoke in Turkish to 2 other check in colleagues, printed the boarding passes and almost threw them down on the counter without responding on upgrade. We felt too intimidated to ask any more. Also our mileage points for this sector of our travel were not booked to our KrisFlyer accounts so wondering if she did not capture at check in."
Contra: "The cabin was quite warm and unable to adjust any air flow to the seat. Because the flight wasn't full my husband was able to move to a vacant group of seats and lie down so eventually cooled down and got some sleep. Otherwise excellent flight"

Pro: "I missed the flight. Because they closed the check in counter 1 full hour before the departure time. I was standing in a passport control line for 40 minutes before that. I reached the check in counter 55 minutes before departure time. It was closed. The ticket office had no sympathy, refused to issue me a boarding pass. My flight was paid for and confirmed. There was time to get through security and reach the gate by boarding time. All i needed was the boarding pass and they would not give it. I missed the flight i had paid for and of course you won't give me a refund It caused serious problems with my trip. I'm totally disgusted and will never buy another ticket on this ariline."

Contra: "As something that seems to happen pretty much constantly with Aegean... the plane arrived late and was delayed... which also in turn caused me to miss my scheduled bus to Jerusalem... but... what can you do... not everything is in our control unfortunately... I hope one day that the airline will organise itself and get things running a bit more smoothly.... Also... there was a meal on the flight but not option was given to those who are vegetarians to request a special meal at time of booking or later on while managing the booking... this was a bit unfair in my mind that my only option was a pasta and meat sauce meal so I did not get to eat... also... within my Star Alliance menber account I am listed as a vegetarian meal... so it should have been automatic just as it is on Swiss, Lufthansa, Etc... when I fly with them."

Contra: "Paying to check luggage was a surprise, typically flights allow at least one checked bag unless they are a discount airline like easy jet or Ryan air. We found this out after waiting in line for over an hour. Also, to pay for the luggage we had to go to the other side of the terminal and wait in a ticket counter line with one employee for 40 minutes. The entire check in process took two hours and the airport wasn't even busy. I'm rarely a complainer, but this was event was inspiring."

At the airport we were told to go the Aegean desk. 5. At the Aegean desk we were told we had to pay for the suitcase again, had to cross the airport to do that. 6. Finally found that desk, not called "Aegean" like we were told, but "GlobeGround" 7. Plane was delayed. 8. At the a Athens airport we were told Taron shouldn't have charged us. What's going on here?"
Pro: "Need to change flight to later date. Employee was rude and resold me wrong ticket and I lost my flight. Stuck in airport all day was forced to pay for a second flight from another airline to go home. No ticket was given to me."
Pro: "Left a bit late but made up the time. The on board service was courteous and friendly and perfectly timed for this short flight."

Contra: "The flight was so cramped, my husband actually scraped his knees on the chair in front of him. Like, a legitimate abrasion on his knee. We weren't seated together, but the people in the plane weren't wearing deodorant or any kind of smell prevention, so the plane was ripe as heck. There was no rhyme or reason to the way the attendants served us - they'd skip people, then come back 20 minutes later to finally serve the skipped person a drink. There was absolutely zero entertainment on the plane, and the food was bad. The airline staff at the airport before departure was even worse! Kayak didn't allow me to buy a bag allowance when I bought the tickets. And there was NO advance warning that there was a weight limit for carry on bags (8kg by the way). So, we got to the airport and had to pay over £100 to check all of our bags. I didn't bring a laptop case, because my bag was usually a carry on, so lo and behold, I got there and yay! My laptop is broken and won't turn on. The flight was incredibly turbulent and my life flashed before my eyes a couple of times. We also had to go to 3 different ticketing Windows and bag drops just to get my ticket and check our bags. You would've thought they were building a rocket ship with the amount of effort that went into the whole ordeal. As I mentioned before, we weren't seated together, and nobody told us this or mentioned it when we got our tickets. Just ridiculous!!"
