Contra: "First time my knees have touched the seat in front of me (I'm 5-10). Not sure how much more airlines can squeeze us in. Good seat recline is great if everyone is reclining, if not you will have someone in your lap. Had to ask person in front of me to not recline during meal. What really bothered me though was paying for a reserved seat and finding out we had been moved to the dreaded back row due to an equipment change. Strongly suggest passenger notification for this move. Was able to re-reserve seats on check in but there were some significant angst when I found out about this mischief."

What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

I was in the middle seat next to an inattentive octanegarian who was nice but kept calling the flight crew to fix her mess up of the video system. No air controls on this plane - so it was overly warm. 10 hours of overly warm makes for a stinky passenger. Oof."

Contra: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

Contra: "The chairs, for whatever reason, after just not that comfortable. Too squishy and they make noise when you adjust your position. I fidget a lot on flights so I felt like I was making a lot of noise. Also the plane didn't have cold air, do you get toasty pretty quick."

Contra: "Cabin configuration in business is awful. Everyone has to step over, or be stepped over, to get to aisle. Seats are narrow (and I’m a small person!). Inflight entertainment is poor, and the touch screen is not very good."

Pro: "Crew were good, the food was mediocre when they served lunch - but then there was nothing more to eat until nearly the end of a 9 hour flight, by which time it was past 10.30pm back in London. At that point, all that was offered was half a sandwich and a biscuit."
Contra: "In-flight entertainment didn't work at first, and then when it started, kept on threatening to shut itself down every time I moved. The selection was ok but nothing compared to other airlines. The screen was tiny and low resolution. The seats were old - the same ones as when BA introduced their premium economy back in 2000. The aircraft was desperately in need of a refresh."

Pro: "I love the fact that I was able to find a good price for the tickets...JUST THAO"
Contra: "The fact that the flight was delayed and they didn’t tell about it until 1.30-2 hours before leaving...and that because we pressured them other wise they wouldn’t even bother to announce us. So sorry you guys don’t have another rating UNDER POOR BECAUSE I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE IT TO YOU...."

Contra: "No food!!! No coffee!!! No water!!! "Brilliant" like low-cost !!!!! Incredible!!!"

Contra: "80+ year old disabled person placed in aisle seat next to me (middle). She was sweet and thoughtful, but couldn't even rise from her seat without assistance. This pinned the window passenger and me in our seats for 8.5 hours with only one bathroom break -- the stuff out of nightmares and ABSOLUTELY UNFORGIVABLE! Of course, crew would not accommodate any changes. ** Why should I ever choose BA again? ** (Seriously, I'd like to hear your answer.) Food nutrition -- generally tasty, but carb-heavy, fatty and salty. A de facto salad meal option would have been appreciated."

Pro: "When I got off the fight."
Contra: "The boarding process is a mess. The flight crew is in total disarray. My friend beside me on the flight got the food 45 minutes before me. Then the second time they gave food out the last 5 rows didn’t get any bc they did bring enough. Just a total mess."

Contra: "First of all, it was not Finnair it was British Airways, we had to walk on tarmac to plane and then carry our baggage up the steps, TV screen was old couldn't see it, did not get to pick my seat. Ended up sitting with some guys seat reclined almost in my lap for 9 hrs. Worst flight I have ever had!!!"

Contra: "This was a direct flight from DFW to Vancouver. 3.5 hours. Upon arrival in Vancouver we were paged to baggage claim and informed that our bags were taken off the plane and would arrive later in the night. Problem was, we were leaving on a cruise at 4:30PM. Our bags had two cruise luggage tags on each bag. When our bags were delivered to us 2.5 days later in Ketchikan, Alaska - The cruise tags had been torn off our bags. There were a minimum of 8 vacant seats and corresponding luggage not on this plane. I believe Air Canada had a chance to load more cargo and removed our luggage to make more room for the cargo. I will never fly this airline again. I had nothing good to say to anyone on our cruise regarding this airline. Terrible passenger service. The guest services said that 16 bags were delivered in Ketchikan from Air Canada."

Pro: "Super easy flight with no hiccups"

Pro: "My wife had injured her knee before our trip and was having difficulty walking. Air Canada provided wheelchair assistance every part of our airport transfers between Atlanta and Japan. Thanks so much !"

Contra: "Too short period between 2 flights, barely have time to pass the border, almost miss the next flight. No inventory of food."

Contra: "The television screen with on-board entertainment options didn't work properly, so I was unable to watch movies/television or play games. This was disappointing as it was a fairly long flight."

Pro: "Getting off the plane!"
Contra: "They delayed the flight by almost 2 hours. Tried to make me check a carry on bag when the plane wasn't even at 50% capacity and one of the representatives was rude about it. Despite having a delayed flight and not many people on the plane, they still lost one of my bags. They also lied to me about taking care of my other friends who were coming from the same connecting flight as me but was hung up in customs. My friends were traveling with small children but were denied entry to the gate because they were a little behind. I could keep going but never again on Air Canada!!!! Never!!!"

Contra: "if the connecting flight from Vancouver to Toronto was not 5+ hrs, and then told one of my luggege was lost, from Vancouver, to go though Security/Immigration and had to wait was not good. It was found and I was able to get to the gate but only 20 min. left... because the flight was late arriving from Montreal. Phew! Two customers had been waiting for a baggage for 24 hrs, there, totally frustrated. Compared to their ssituation, mine was not so serious? Two men at counter were not sympathetic, no emotions showing. Until I paid attention to their problem, a woman showed up, tried to amend the situation. AirCanada's corporate image was damaged by those two men."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "They had nothing together. My first flight was delayed so I got in late and my connecting flight was rescheduled for 5 hours later. Their "free meal voucher" for rescheduling amounts to one slice of pizza and no drink. The airport then lost my checked bag and kept me waiting in one room for 4 of those hours to where I was still rushing to catch my next flight. Air Canada then forgot to assign a plane to my new second flight so I waited another 2 hours to board. Once boarded, the airline made us wait another hour while they loaded bags, then unloaded some of the wrong bags thy put on. They then tacked 25 minutes in the wrong direction and we went all the way back. I have never seen so many people rushing the customer service desks because they missed their connecting flights, throughout the entire time I was stuck in Toronto. Additionally, their "in flight movie system" doesn't work unless you rent one of their iPads. It prompts you to download Java Flash player even if you already have it instead of asking to run it. Then once you allow it, you get a 1-2 second animation then the movie breaks. There are similar errors with their music and tv show features, I tried all of these in my laptop and phone."

Contra: "Left our luggage in Montreal!"

Pro: "The crews were nice and the seats were comfortable"
Contra: "There were so much miscommunication. Coming from Hong Kong it was late for 3 hrs , then I need to pick up my luggages and went thru immigration. Missed the flight to Toronto, checked at the counter and was told did not need to pick up my luggage until I got to Atlanta. Well at Toronto, my luggages didn't go through. I had to pick them up and went thru immigration on the USA side again. Missed my flight again! It was so frustrating except all the employees were very nice and helpful."

Pro: "It was a fast flight."
Contra: "Leg room."

Pro: "Employee in Boston terminal great help in sign in process. Volunteer, I believe, in Air Canada terminal in Toronto helped me find my way to another terminal."

Contra: "Boarding Zones 3-5 is always a mess"

Pro: "The plane itself was fairly comfortable, and every seat had its own TV/movie screen, which was nice."
Contra: "Our flight was delayed six hours and fifteen minutes, and the entire six hours and fifteen minutes was filled with poor communication. No one could tell us what was going on. There was rarely even an Air Canada representative at our gate's desk area. We were given nothing to remotely compensate for our very long delay aside from a few thanks and a puny bag of pretzels."

Pro: "Crew were very good."
Contra: "Once again, they were late which meant that we missed our connection in Vancouver and had to overnight there."

Pro: "Friendly crew"
Contra: "Touch screens were broken"

Pro: "They weigh every little carry on even little backpacks. My Dad who is 83 had very hard time since he had one pound over. Max weigh you can in your carry on is 22 pound. Extremely money hungry Air Line. I would avoid at any cost."

Contra: "1시간이상 딜레이, 비행기를 타고서도 1시간쯤 있었던 것 같다. 그리고... 난 뒤에서 두번째 좌석에 앉았는데, 맨 뒷좌석에서 두 직원이 밥을 먹으며 얼마나 떠들어 대던지... 그리고 돌아다니면서도 주머니에 손을 넣은 채 거의 빼지 않고 말만 많은 젊은남자직원... 정말 건방져보였다. 착륙할 때 얼마나 급정거를 하던지 맨 뒤에 있었던 큰 물병이 떨어져서 맨 앞까지 굴러가더라. 다른 승객도 나와 눈이 마주친 후 무사히 착륙한 것을 축하한다고 쓴웃음을 지으며 농담을 했다. This is the Air Canada."

Contra: "There were too many things to mention, but I must say the customer service is not a strong point neither is a customer first mindset. The airlines apparent made several changes between my trip and I was threaten with additional bag fees when my ticket was very clear for two carry-ons and to checked bags, which also confirmed when I confirmed my seat request. After I was required to check my bags, I realized my earbuds were in the bag and the flight attendant did not give me a pair and actually told me I could purchase a pair...REALLY!I just did a 15 hour flight from Dubai, you were delayed by 2 hours on my last connecting flight and you can't comp a pair of .25 cent earbuds."

Contra: "very disorganized. website for checkin was indecipherable. I had to call Air Canada, which charged me for the call (15 centimes per minute) then put me on hold, only to finally learn that I could only check in in person because we were traveling with a pet. --- We paid extra for preferential seating, and when we got to the counter were told that we could not have those seats bcs we were traveling with a pet - the pet was acknowledged on our records and travel documents, yet the company allowed us to sign up for preferential seating, then would not let us access those seats, but our previously reserved window seats were gone and we were assigned aisle and center seats, which were then changed again to other aisle and center seats. --- Half the flights on the departure board, including ours, were delayed, alhto there were no weather problems. Both our plane and the plane in the gate next to where we were waiting had mechanical problems - a coincidence, or a repeated failing?"

Pro: "The customer service desk at Lufthansa/Air Canada did help us set up additional flights for the next day."
Contra: "Since we missed our first flight to Toronto, we missed this flight to Atlanta."

Pro: "none"
Contra: "bad service and didnot tell customer some critical information"

Contra: "Three hour delay. Getting into Atlanta at 2:00am"

Pro: "Amazing leg room for my 6'1 partner on the regular seat."
Contra: "My entertainment system was not working so I had to share my partners beside me."

Pro: "I bought Business Class because the rate was very competitive. Seat was comfortable enough. Flight departed nearly an hour late, but arrived early at the destination, which helped."
Contra: "The flight attendants in first class honestly seemed overworked and had no time for anyone. A request for a mixed whiskey beverage brought a Diet Coke instead. The attendant didn't seem to care at all when the mistake was pointed out, nor did she fix it. Snacks and drinks were essentially flung at us with the care of throwing slop at farm animals. Which pretty much describes the quality of the meal."

Pro: "Nice to be able to recharge mobile devices while seated."
Contra: "I made a round trip to Japan from Boston with Air Canada, flying out in mid-June and returning in the beginning of July, and I was rather disappointed to find that the choice of movies was more or less the same both ways, at least I did not see much change in new releases. I was expecting new movies to be added on my return flight from Japan since the month has changed from June to July but I did not find new movies, so I just read on my iPad. It would have also been nice if there was an option for inflight WiFi access."

Pro: "Check in and boarding process ok."
Contra: "Had to buy meal on the SFO-Montreal leg, which was at the snack/wrap level. Constraint space seats."

Pro: "Amazing legroom!"
Contra: "Poor selections of snacks and drinks"

Pro: "In flight entertainment was great - good selection of movies and TV shows. Attendants worked hard. Food suprisingly good. Very reasonable fare - drove to Toronto from Cincinnati to save $1000 per person vs. flying out of Cincinnati and $700 per person out of Atlanta."
Contra: "Music selections limited for someone who grew up in 60's and 70's."

Pro: "This was the usual flight. Nothing exceptional. The flight crew were very nice."

Contra: "The fight itself was fine. Not great. Not terrible. But the airline lost my son's suitcase and has been entirely unhelpful ever since then. Now we have been stuck in a foreign country without clothes and toiletries for 36 hours and Air Canada's "helpline" has been anything but helpful. They can not find any information on the location of the suitcase and hope that they will find it in another 48 hours. Rediculous!! I will never fly them again and suggest that you save your money, effort and vacation by flying with another airline."

Pro: "We would have needed to download an app on our personal digital device and view entertainment that way. No screens in the plane."

Pro: "Leg room was sufficient"
Contra: "Touchscreen monitors were not the best."

Contra: "In flight movie wouldn't even go full screen!!! Had to squint"

Pro: "Crew very attending, helpful."

Pro: "Boarding process was fast & efficient."
Contra: "Crew was strangely inflexible about rules that I had not encountered before- being only in ticketed seat until at altitude (the flight was very empty), only specific headphones during takeoff & ascent, no headphones or electronic devices at all during final descent and landing."

Pro: "My legs barely fit, but it was possible to sit without my knees hitting the seat"
Contra: "No movies, no air vents, reading lights only work sometimes"

Pro: "The breakfast, one piece of poundcake, that was the only highlight, and one decent size bathroom."
Contra: "Boarding was unorganized, nobody knew what was going on, but the biggest disappointment is there were no movies there are no video screens on the entire plane so unless you bring your own device and have pre-downloaded Air Canada app there are no entertainment options at all! Who ever heard of a transatlantic flight that didn't have a movie? Make sure you download the app so you can at least watch the movies on your tiny screen."
