Contra: "Curbside needs to stop chasing cash tips and do their jobs. If they focused on that tips would be easy to come by. The curbside attendant that took my bag didn’t even bother to check my id. He asked me my name and asked where my destination was. I told him Cincinnati as a layover then LaGuardia where he said that was wrong. He then proceeded to print a boarding pass that wasn’t mine and load my bag into the conveyor. Not 5 mins go by when I realize what happened I wound up having to go to special services to rectify the situation. Which ultimately consisted of me waiting another hour in LaGuardia to get my bag. Please delta have these curbside handlers actually want to do their job and stop chasing cash tips."

I called the agency to find out if I needed a Visa for my visit to Australia and the told me no. So when I showed up to the airport I didn’t have the right documents and I MISSED MY FLIGHT. Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country."

Also seated me next to a person who needed 2 seats to himself. Please never seat me next to a passenger who cannot fit in their own seat. I am switching to SWA."

There was a ton of movies from the 90s and the same movie selection from about 6 months ago when I traveled with them. Also, what is going on, with having to use your own cell phone to watch movies on the plane? Whatever happened to the screens in the backseat of the front seat? I ended up with neck pain from trying to watch a movie on my phone. Delta has become very cheap. It is going into some serious decline."

Contra: "Let me just say that I’m a loyal Delta costumer until now. The flight attendants (the two women) were an absolute nightmare. They were so rude and condescending. I was carrying with me my service dog and a bag containing an expensive medication (it couldn’t go on the top bin). Despite being in the comfort class and having the seat next to me empty, we were tight for space. The flight attendants were unreasonable and forced me to put my medication on the top bin despite the fact I had told them it was extremely delicate, that it that to go upright, and that I needed to keep it with me. They did not listen and pressured me into giving them the medication. The medication could have easily gotten broken. Thankfully it didn’t but this is no way to treat a human being."

I got to the airport in Denver at 5:30 am for a 7:30 am flight to Atlanta, and the line to check a bag was about 40 people long. I waited 55minutes to check my bag, as they kept moving the ski priority people, and people in danger of missing their flight, to the head of the line. There were obviously not enough Delta workers on staff to process all the flights at that time."

I arrived 1 hour before the flight, but security was so slow I didn't get to the gat until 10 minutes before arrival. There were no gate agents present and despite banging on the gateway door and other Delta agents at the adjacent gate, no one helped me. I can only surmise that they had already given away our seats, which were award tickets, GAINED BY BEING A LOYAL DELTA CUSTOMER. The gate agents were unapologetic and useless at rebooking, and I bought a ticket from Southwest instead. As i was trying to get to my sister's wedding, and repeatedly told the agents this, their behavior was particularly abominable. DELTA, YOU'VE LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER."

Contra: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

No babes the entire time I was in Germany. Arrived in Mumbai after paying the $350 US change fee and no bags. Bags finally arrived on Monday at 9AM Without clothes, toiletries and medications for 6 nights. Now I am delayed and will probably have to pay rebuke and fare change to extend my stay here."

Pro: "I've flown on many different airlines since I was 10 years old and hands down this Lufthansa flight was the best and smoothest flight I have ever experienced. First of all, the plane was very comfortable and had good leg room. The flight staff were all extremely courteous and attentive. There was one point where I was reading in the dark and the crew member asked if I wanted the light turned on to read! Normally I don't sleep on flights, and the same crew member asked if I wanted ice cream since I don't feel like sleeping. The crew seemed to have this magic ability to make the flight more comfortable without the passenger having to even think about it, or try to ask for extra service. All of the crew were just very outstanding and organized throughout the entire flight, they were all generally very helpful and kind. By the time I got off the 14 hour flight, I didn't feel even the slightest bit tired or anxious, I was able to spend time with my friends in Budapest upon landing and stay out till 2 am without having to sleep or rest because the flight was so good."
Contra: "Rude (American) passengers not keeping the "curtain down", when it was time to rest, and being very chatty. Also baby crying, but this is inevitable, it happened to all of us, when we had small babies."

Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Contra: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."

I lost an entire days worth of vacation in Germany, so well I do feel the British Airways should have done better and should’ve compensated me better, the fact that they immediately took steps to make the situation better was greatly appreciated. That level of customer service was beyond any I’ve received with an American-based airline. Also, the crew on the plane was fantastic and a great choice of movies. I flew American on the way home and was shocked at the lack of customer service and rudeness, I will happily fly British Airways again and again."

Contra: "The boarding process was hampered by too many people putting too much carry on luggage in the overhead bins. Many put things in the overhead bins that could have been put under the seat. It didn’t seem like the crew was paying too much attention to this. In general the crew was pleasant, but there didn’t appear to be much sincerity in the pleasantries."
Pro: "Orderly boarding and disembarkation."
Contra: "This airline is one of the worst in Europe, for the simple reason of putting short-term profits ahead of decent treatment of the customer. My flight across the Atlantic was 4 hours late, and BA refused to put me on the next available to Prague, even though the lateness forced me to miss the BA flight I have been booked on. Their reason referred to a technicality in the booking procedure, but actually BA has put in place "policies" aimed at their financial advantage, over and above reasonable treatment of the customer. BA's refusal to rebook me cost me a lot of inconvenience (3 hours on the phone, for one thing) plus about $150 (I am taking another route to Prague); BA was then able to sell both my original seat and an extra seat on the next flight from Heathrow to Prague. I will never fly BA again in my life if I can help it."

Contra: "We were late 20 minutes and sat in tarmac another 15 minutes. Didn´t allow us enough time to get train, take bus, we had over 500 people lined up for bus, get through TSA, they pulled my suitcase for inspection, but didn´t look at it for 15 minutes until i called a supervisor as my connecting flight was leaving, and in fact, it had left as TSA does this purposefully and maliciously as it apparently happens all the time per ÇBritish Airways who had to reticket us. We had to return to A section another 20 minutes to be reticketed and luckily got on another flight to <madrid. Terrible experience with TSA. Very rude, angry, abusive staff."
Contra: "Our flight from Denver to London was canceled at the last minute last night. The information from your email and the number given from you notifying me of the cancellation only gave British Airway to contact for redress. It took over an hour on the phone to get another flight which was 2 days later with now 2 days less of our vacation. Not to mention the loss of 2 hotel room payments. Kayak was of no help in this matter. Plus our flight reservation prohibited us from getting our flight on another flight the next day. If I had known that I never would have used Kayak. I am extremely unhappy with how this was handled. I expect to be reimbursed for our lost Hotel room costs and the costs associated with lost tours from you. Please contact me with how you will go about doing this."

On London airport, I was sent back for the gate because I showed up early and they ask me to take care of the screen and wait for the gate #, when they showed the # , I went to the gate and was told my flight had left an hour ago and sent me back walking . I was wearing an orthopedic shoe, due to a toe fracture and i had to walk again all this long distance back to the terminal.!! British airway gave another flight and had to pay $279 dlls for a ticket to Madrid.2 hrs later. My flight was by Iberia and the service. was excelent. I wonder if the insurance , I bought initially will cover something of the $ 279 dlls ticket ? Fligth back to EUA was by AA and service was excellent"

Contra: "There are no air vents on these planes! 4 of the 4 international flights of 10+ hours each did not have individual air vents. The heat was unbearable. We were sweating the entire time. There are individual computers in each row taking up some of the seat B (middle seat) legroom. These blow hot air and heat up the plane even more. I have never been on a flight where there weren't vents and it is the #1 reason why I won't be flying British Airways again. The TV screens are also outdated. The selection is alright but the screens are blurry and have a grid burned in on them."

At least they us we could rest in the BA lounge because I am elderly and disabled and we would have a 9 hour wait. Got to the lounge and we were not listed in the system. So we were denied entrance. We will have have spent 2 nights on a plane and 36 hours instead of one night and 16 hours. Rotten way to depend your 50th anniversary."

Outbound to SFO in an Airbus 380 had sparkling wine pre-take off, hot towels twice, this DEN-LHR flight only had juice or water on offer (crew said "don't serve that on this route") no hot towels, crew's objective seemed to be get around cabin in one go and leave Pax to it Breakfast was abysmal, soft-pretzel roll, no juice or water served, just indifferent coffee"

The flight attendants were knowledgeable and informative. Our incoming flight was delayed due to snow and ice. Once we were aboard the flight from Denver to Detroit, the pilot informed us that we needed to go to de-icing prior to lift off. He led us to believe that it would only delay our trip by 10-15 minutes. We sat on tarmac for one hour prior to lift off. I definitely appreciate the safety process of de-icing but I wish the pilot had given a more realistic estimate of time of departure.

Contra: "Lost my baggage even though I actually watched them transport it to the airplane from the airplane window. Brutal."

Also, my wife identified herself to Lufthansa that she has celiac's disease, yet when the food cart came by, she was informed that all she could purchase that was gluten free was nuts. We found out later that there was a fruit and cheese plate available. Also, it seems that there were few items available from the on board menu. Why bother even having a menu if many of the items were not available? Air Canada should be ashamed!"

Can barely sit in the set, no room to stretch legs, tray table hits my stomach, and I don't even have a big belly. When the guy in front reclines, cannot even get out of my seat. Chaotic boarding process without any order or instructions or announcements, poor food and entertainment."

Contra: "The flight kept getting delayed bc of mechanical problems, and then eventually cancelled. They rebooked everyone on new flights, but it took an extra stop in Toronto before getting us to Montreal. Once it was rebooked for the morning, it took off a little late. Plus the pretzels they gave us were stale. This was the first of two flights I took this trip that had mechanical issues, so they obviously need to fix their planes better or get new ones, because two Air Canada flights in one day that have mechanical problems leaves me worried that the planes aren't in optimal condition. It took me over 24 hours to get from Tucson, AZ to Montreal, Canada when normal travel takes less than 8 hours including layovers."
Pro: "I had an aisle seat"
Contra: "The plane sat on the runway in Denver for over an hour because they couldn't figure out their furling situation. Many people nearly missed connections because of this. The crew never let us get up to go to the bathroom on an international flight because of some small turbulence."
Pro: "Seats were ok but a bit cold all the way."
Contra: "One hour late leaving, no reason or information given. Food was awful with green sauce on chicken and celery bits in milk for salad, the connecting flight was cancelled and the option was another flight in two days. The only flight going later that evening was full and the next day was full also they said. An hour later a bus service was offered leaving in ten minutes which many of us raced to catch on our own with no one to show us how to get to the bus. The bus we were told to look for was the wrong bus. Of course our luggage didn't make it and that took another hour to register at our destination as every one else on the bus didn't get their luggage either. Bus driver got lost but passengers were able to show him the way. This is the third time in four flights Air Canada has lost our luggage. The worst was the NO ONE ever smiles, we were watching for it, and certainly NO ONE ever says we are sorry you are inconvenienced which would go a long way to make the delays and changes more tolerable."
Pro: "Nothing! Unpleasant unhelpful crew at gate, no better onboard, absolutely moist cramped seating ever! Disorganized and late- boarding, departing, waited to disembark at arrival, 25 min before first bag off baggage......dreadful no one cares"
Contra: "Thank you for choosing Air Canada- smiles and goodbyes- where's all that Before you leave? They treat you like problem cattle to be dealt with, you're anonymous and valueless until you leave then they look at you and thank you?! Missing sincerity And service!"
Pro: "Onboard attendants were pleasant"
Contra: "No apology for lateness, flight boarded late, took off 40 min late, arrived 35 minutes late but we sat at gate waiting for someone to open it ?!, then another 15 min before bags started to unload Ridiculous but indicative of airlines You are not their valued guest or even their customer, you are a problem that needs to be solved and are consequently met with preloaded annoyance and a readiness to dismiss, placate at the best of times but definitely not please, impress, sympathize or satisfy. There is no evidence that it's even in their lexicon- not a part of their recruitment or selection process or training, ever! They're main focus and only positivity is saved for themselves. There may be a long line of concerned and anxious travelers but their priority is getting coffees for the battle ahead! They break their focused indifference only for each other and enthusiastically leave their post to satisfy each other's needs and attention. This has got to change! Why do we put up with such awful service for which we are the paying customer? Why are we, their customers, not valued? This airline makes record profits, provides less, charges for everything and increasingly delivers bad service, sometimes offensively bad! It doesn't cost more to hire a customer centric pleasant person, or incorporate guest experience into training or at the very least be friendly and smile! What if an airline just did that?! They'd differentiate themselves and develop a positive customer centered culture. Don't we deserve that, at the very least?!"
Contra: "Needed to reschedule got no help from Air Canada"
Contra: "Crew wasn't helpful and attentive, boarding staff in Toronto were blatantly rude to me, I watched as my luggage got handled aggressively, the plane was dirty with old food crumbs and such, my flight to Windsor got cancelled and accomadations were not met sufficiently."

Contra: "I literally walked for 40 minutes across YYJ to make this connection. Security was a breeze, the airport was empty late at night, it was all smooth sailing. This is not a whine about hardship - I was just continuously astonished that I'm still walking! It was amazing! The slightest delay on your incoming flight and you're sunk with that much travel time in between... In this day and age...basically making a US to CA domestic connection is better done through another airport. -Cheers!"

Contra: "The check-in counter in DCA was AWFUL with only two people running and no kiosks working. They were rude and didn't listen to us either. When we got to the food part, it was disguisting. First of all, I am vegetarian but even if I ate meat, I wouldnt have eaten it. So I just ate bread for the 13 hour flight. Besides one flight attendant, the rest were rude, harsh and had a generally bad attitude. AIr Canada has BY FAR been the worst travel experience for me thus far. I guess you get what you pay for."
Contra: "Wasn't offered a drink or food for 2 hours into the flight. Then when they reached me, all the options were sold out. I had crackers and hummus for lunch. I am pregnant and travelling alone with a toddler and was told by a flight attendant they were suppose to help me lift my bag. Nothing major, but left an unpleasant experience compared to Westjet."

Contra: "i booked a flight through kayak going from denver to milan. i showed up at the airport in denver to fly out yeserday only to find out that i was going to frankfurt germany. i am now in munich germany and never made it to milan. i was one of many people i met on the flight that also booked with air canada thinking they were headed to milan. air canada kept trying to put the blame off to my booking company. i don't know who to be ticked off at. please advise."

Contra: "The flight attendants on this flight did NOT do their job. If they are there to ensure a safe environment for the people on board, they completely missed the boat. I was in row 45. Two families were on board with their 4 very young children. For the entire 8 hour flight, 3 of these children disrupted the entire section of the plane. They continuously played in the aisles, stood in the seats, kept their seat belts unbuckled, threw objects, and one blasted his iPad at maximum volume. When I asked one flight attendant to ask the family to get the child to lower the volume on his iPad (it was 4am; people were either using their ear buds, or had their screens turned off), they complied with the request for 30 minutes, then resumed at full throttle. I can honestly say, it was one of the worst flights I have ever experienced in 57 years."

Contra: "Missed our flight in dublin and the crew wouldn't let us board even though we were there with sufficient time."
