Contra: "For international travel, I’m always told to get there 3 hours before. For this trip we checked in but didn’t have access to a printer so needed a boarding pass. We wanted to carry on luggage so just needed to print the pass. Swiss was the only airline that wasn’t available on the check-in kiosks. The front desk staff didn’t arrive until closer to 1.5 hours before check in so nearly theall passengers were in a huge line to get passes and check bags."

Contra: "Sound for on-screen entertainment not working. It was static-y all the time and completely cut out the rest of the time. I made various attempts to solve the problem, switching headphones, switching to my own headphones (which can't really be done because they have a two-prong jack and personal headphones are always one). I tried watching different movies, programs, music...it wasn't the material I was watching that was the problem. I asked the flight attendant to reset my console. That didn't work either. I just ended up reading my book the entire 9 hour trip."

Contra: "Found my business class seat given away to a lady with a dog. Mine was window but with extra table next to aisle. She had aisle seat but with exactly the same configuration. Idea was she would place the dog on the table space next to her seat. It would be exactly the same for both seats. Do not know what they were thinking. There were other business class seats on the other side that had the table space ext to the window away from the aisle. That would make sense for the lady with dog. Business class was full and I was the last to get on, 45 minute connection in Zurich from terminal A to E, my seat was given. But as I objected, they moved the dog lady and gave me back my seat. But they never asked a person in the seat that would have made sense to give her to trade seats."

Contra: "This was the worst airline I have flown with. I booked my tickets last minute, it was for me and my 4 month old son. I had 3 suitcases a stroller and 2 carryons. I had paid for the suitcases, but because I was traveling alone I went there with my husband and he politely asked if they could please take the carryons on the plane because she can’t carry everything by herself. The manager came out and said that we have to pay. I said I already paid extra for my suitcases please help us because my wife is carrying our son, the diaper bag and 2 carryons. He was rude stating that we have to pay each carryon. We didn’t have the extra money and my wife took everything with her. If that’s how Turkish Airline treats their customers, they shouldn’t be operating. It was the last time I use this airline. No dignity or humanity, it’s all only about the money. And when I took the stroller with my son. They made me package the stroller by myself looking that I had my son on me crying and when I asked for help they said that they can’t help me... unbelievable... they see me with 2 carryons a stroller and a baby and they can’t help me."

I fight stage 4 cancer, it requires timely medicine. I was not allowed to take on board several critical supplements because they were either in powder, granulated or liquid form (all in their original medical packaging), my custom made crocheting hook was labeled as a dangerous weapon and I was not allowed to take it on board either, so I had no means to alleviate my air flight anxiety. they were going to confiscate and throw it away. Cold "sorry for your loss" was their only reply. They tried to scare me by calling police. Extremely impolite personnel. It took almost two hours, when TA security threaten that I won't fly, to make them pack this little darn crocheting hook together with my iPad. Funny that food on board comes with real metal silverware, forks and knifes included, which are far more convenient and dangerous if I was to use it as a weapon in comparison to a hook (3 inch wooden handle and 1 nah of a metal shaft ending with a small blunt hook, thin - size 2). TA said they provide us with free wifi to compensate for confiscated electronics. I was not able to connect to that wifi all flight long. Movie selection is below mediocre, little choice, practically no quality. Food is bad - not appropriate for my condition at all, but of course I can't bring on board cancer-appropriate food - security labels it as a threat to passengers. No leg room at all for a medium-built lady like myself, can't imagine what thicker or taller people do to survive 9+ hours flight, seats do not recline, pull out tables are of terrible quality- very unstable, so food and drinks fall off even without turbulence, just because of no leg room our knees are always interfere with these flimsy tables. With a comfort and restrictions like I had tickets must cost not a penny over a bus or metro ride, not hundreds of $$. It took about two hours to get my suitcase too - they said our luggage had to go through a second inspection before it gets onto baggage carousel. All in all, I will avoid TA for long flights by all means. Never again. They were an huge downshift to my perfect vacation. I had to go to an emergency treatment today because of the way TA treated me yesterday. Unfortunately, I can't measure how much yesterday's abuse advanced my disease, I am disturbed and frustrated enough to go to court to bring a suit against... yet again, those imbeciles from security do have a good alibi - their actions were triggered by US government regulations."

It was very clear that he just did not want to invest the few seconds it would take to address my concern, or give me a credible reason why he could not make the change."

I had an expired ticket for a free drink from the team. it expired during the pandemic. I purchased a drink when i think it would have been really sweet for them to honor it. Between trying to be safe and travel when i felt comfortable, I missed the deadline. It would be different it we hadn't been locked down all year. Just felt like if there was a time to be nice that was it and the stewardess mussed it. All good.

He then proceeded to print a boarding pass that wasn’t mine and load my bag into the conveyor. Not 5 mins go by when I realize what happened I wound up having to go to special services to rectify the situation. Which ultimately consisted of me waiting another hour in LaGuardia to get my bag. Please delta have these curbside handlers actually want to do their job and stop chasing cash tips."

Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country."

I ended up with neck pain from trying to watch a movie on my phone. Delta has become very cheap. It is going into some serious decline."
Contra: "Let me just say that I’m a loyal Delta costumer until now. The flight attendants (the two women) were an absolute nightmare. They were so rude and condescending. I was carrying with me my service dog and a bag containing an expensive medication (it couldn’t go on the top bin). Despite being in the comfort class and having the seat next to me empty, we were tight for space. The flight attendants were unreasonable and forced me to put my medication on the top bin despite the fact I had told them it was extremely delicate, that it that to go upright, and that I needed to keep it with me. They did not listen and pressured me into giving them the medication. The medication could have easily gotten broken. Thankfully it didn’t but this is no way to treat a human being."

There were no gate agents present and despite banging on the gateway door and other Delta agents at the adjacent gate, no one helped me. I can only surmise that they had already given away our seats, which were award tickets, GAINED BY BEING A LOYAL DELTA CUSTOMER. The gate agents were unapologetic and useless at rebooking, and I bought a ticket from Southwest instead. As i was trying to get to my sister's wedding, and repeatedly told the agents this, their behavior was particularly abominable. DELTA, YOU'VE LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER."

Contra: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Bags finally arrived on Monday at 9AM Without clothes, toiletries and medications for 6 nights. Now I am delayed and will probably have to pay rebuke and fare change to extend my stay here."

Pro: "I've flown on many different airlines since I was 10 years old and hands down this Lufthansa flight was the best and smoothest flight I have ever experienced. First of all, the plane was very comfortable and had good leg room. The flight staff were all extremely courteous and attentive. There was one point where I was reading in the dark and the crew member asked if I wanted the light turned on to read! Normally I don't sleep on flights, and the same crew member asked if I wanted ice cream since I don't feel like sleeping. The crew seemed to have this magic ability to make the flight more comfortable without the passenger having to even think about it, or try to ask for extra service. All of the crew were just very outstanding and organized throughout the entire flight, they were all generally very helpful and kind. By the time I got off the 14 hour flight, I didn't feel even the slightest bit tired or anxious, I was able to spend time with my friends in Budapest upon landing and stay out till 2 am without having to sleep or rest because the flight was so good."

Had to cheat my way through the priority line and run a sprint through security and beyond. Reached the gate to note that there was a delay of 5 minutes.... Grrrr"

Contra: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."
