Contra: "It was full, Ben if Lufthansa said on their website that they keep physical distance for passangers! Liars!"

The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Pro: "I flew in Business Class from JFK to Munich and then back to JFK via Frankfort. Both flights were on time and very smooth overall in both directions. The cabin crew was good both ways and all spoke English well. Lufthansa long haul flights still use the older 2 x 2 x 2 seating arrangement (unlike the more modern and common 1 x 2 x 1 arrangement where all seats have aisle access)...so if you don't want someone crawling over you trying to get to the toilet while you are trying to sleep be sure to choose a center seat (both with direct aisle access.) While not totally uncomfortable, the Lufthansa business class sleeper seats are narrower...less well padded...and have less recline options than those used by most other long haul airlines, especially the very narrow foot-wells. The pillows and blankets could be better too. The food was OK - but not on a par with what most other airlines serve on long haul flights. The JFK to Munich flight was non-problematic in all respects. However, there was a screaming baby in my aisle (Row 4 on a 747-8 only 2 seats away from me) on the Frankfort to JFK leg...which I found TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE."
Contra: "What airline would permit a lap baby (less than 2 years old...a periodic screamer...and totally unmanageable by its solo-travelling mother) to occupy it's Business Class section on a 7+ hour flight - while inconveniencing (and aggravating) all other nearby Business Class passengers who paid thousands of dollars/euros to ride in Business Class so they don't have to put up with this kind of nonsense? The answer is: "LUFTHANSA!!! And YES, this actually happened on my Frankfort to JFK flight (LH 400 on 23 January 2017.) I'm not sure if the woman in question paid for two seats or not but this unmanageable kid finally calmed down and fell asleep - but he did so in the seat next to her. If this unmanageable lap kid was allowed to do everything he did (including to use a Business Class seat for free IF that is what actually happened) then this just adds insult to injury. WAKE UP LUFTHANSA!!! People pay huge sums to ride in Business Class to avoid this situation - and it's time you BANNED this situation from even occurring."

Thumbs up for KLM crew, planes and Schiphol Airport, though short on staff and a little late everything went smooth, including the flight.

New 737 and seats too confining

I love KLM, its very spacious and clean and the landing is always very soft. Great Airline!

No fuss

A intarziat plecarea ...

Zborul a avut intarziere la plecare iar cand a aterizat am asteptat sa vina autobuzul sa putem cobori din avion. Totul a fost groaznic decand am plecat din Buc catre Roma si inapoi. Nu ma asteptam sa fie atat de slab serviciile si timpul de asteptare atat de mare cu intarzieri. In plus sunt multe cerinte sa poti zbura: masca FFP2 iar echipajul nu are asa ceva dar noi suntem obligati sa avem, se cere test pcr sau antigen pt cei vaccinati, nu e normal asa ceva. Asta inseamna sa ne faceti pe noi cei vaccinati niste prosti pt ca ne-am vaccinat. Urat din artea voastra. Bani dati aiurea pt ca nu ne-a mai cerut nimeni asa ceva. O abusurditate. Ar trebuii sa ne dati banii inapoi, bani cheltuiti degeaba fiind vaccinati cu buster!!!!! Am fost taxati 40 euro pt 3 check-inuri pt ca nu am facut check in cu 3 ore inainte de zbor deoarece aplicatia nu a mers. Am platit pt ca serviciile voastre nu merg si sunt proaste. Cei care călătoresc alături de oameni cu probleme, viitoare mămici, etc så fie cît se poate de înțelegători și comunicativi! Niciodată nu știi unde te duce viața!

O mică parte din călători ar putea încerca så fie mai ascultători și disciplinați. Nu îi costă nimic și nici nu este imposibil!

Positive: The flight was on time, which is quite a rarity, especially for low-cost carriers. The flight attendants "upgraded" me to an extra legroom seat (although it was more for practical reasons, as they needed someone by the emergency exit). Negative: In full Covid-19 pandemic wave, most of the passengers were checked for boarding, but instead of either being allowed to directly board the plane or at least to wait in front of the boarding gate at a relatively safe distance, everyone was crammed into a tiny space between the boarding desk and the actual gate. I'm not sure I wouldn't been comfortable being piled together with 150 other people in a little over 50sqm in "normal" times, let alone during a pandemic. Also, despite the plane only being at around 2/3 capacity and most of the extra legroom seats being unoccupied, the flight attendants were very reluctant to allow a fellow travel companion to sit in the same extra legroom row with me, because "these seats cost more than the regular seats", which I thought was very petty (regardless of whether it was company policy or the attendants' own rigid attitude towards the situation).

The flight was delayed for almost two hours. We had to wait in the bus before boarding for 30’.

Also, one of them was busy checking each individual carry-on bag with unnecessary extra scrutiny, only to provide customers to the second agent, which was taking the payments for extra bags."

Long long queues, then continued to queue before boarding in the waiting/holding room. No toilets once you enter the corridor to go to gate. Unsatisfactory management. Water from air conditioner dripping on me on board from take off. Not an immediate suggestion to move, but agreement to do so on my suggestion and then gentle insistence. Thankfully there was a seat for me! It seemed to be a problem staff were aware of which is concerning that Wizz did not block that seat."
Pro: "Comfortable seats. I chose premium price so no issues at check-in. Staff was fantastic! This was my first WIZZ Air flight. It will not be my last!"
Contra: "Boarding did not provide order as everyone crowded to the front. Needs better lines."

I also could not prepay for my luggage so they overcharged me at the airport and had an attitude about it. My luggage was given three different prices quotes. They claimed the fee was for checking in in person---and then they also claimed it was too late to check in online. There is no information in my flight confirmation from Flightnetwork.com, which i purchased on kayak, indiciating that such a fee would be charged. Many other passengers had the same experience."

After that, we had to get back in a long line and the lady didn’t mentioned that she can check in our luggage’s. With that being said, we had to go back to other encounter to pay for checked in luggage. We paid almost $200 for checking in and luggage. How stupid is that? We and other customers in line all said we felt it’s the rip off. We come to Ireland for vacation and expected it would be welcome and nice. This turned us off. Never fly with this airlines again. Thumbs down!!!"

Contra: "Flight had group of youngsters who should not have been allowed on flight. They displayed rowdy behaviour and swore and gestures throughout flight. Staff did very little to try and stop them until other passengers started to complain."

Contra: "Service was not great. The baggage allowance was lower than other airlines, forcing us to repack before we checked our bags. Checking in online was mandatory-something that wasn’t very noticeable in the email when we had a million other trip details to attend to so we didn’t and ended up having to pay a fee to check in. Ridiculous. My wife and I were not seated together even though I booked both tickets together. The inexpensive upfront price of the flight is not worth it since they will trick you into paying in other ways."
Contra: "A horrible airline. They charge you for everything, you have to pay a checked baggage fee for both ways. I bought a round trip ticket, if I'm bringing luggage, I'm going to want to bring that luggage back with me. You have to pay if you have more than one cabin bag, everyone boards at the same time, the plane is cramped and old. The landing was just us slamming into the runway. I can't tell you about the staff because I never saw anyone that worked there"

The airline could have done it there. But was denied boarding, waited for 6 hours to catch next flight and further connections."

Seats were dirty. Had to pay extra for checking in early to my return flight since I am not EU/EEA citizen and can't use mobile app and wouldn't have a chance to print my return boarding pass - and although according to the plane plan I chose a window seat my seat had now window. Never again."

We didn't think anything of it until we got to airport to find that we didn't show checked in, had to pay EXTRA to have our boarding passes printed off, and had to pay for EACH of our bags as well!! OH! And it's almost DOUBLE if you pay for it at the airport where you can weigh it then if you do it online! And take caution! Our bags that are considered carry on size are still too big for this airline do you will forced to check Them! This is obviously how they offset their inexpensive tickets! The cost of the ticket, once you add in all the other unexpected expenses in order to actually get on the flight, was NOT worth the "cheap" tickets we got! That's the only reason we decided to fly to Ireland while on our trip to the U.K. Had we known it would cost this much we never would have come to Ireland for two days!!"

Contra: "This was the WORST flying experience of my life. You have to check in online otherwise they scam you out of tons of money. Seems pretty straight forward right? WRONG! They don't send you an email when it's time to check in. They will also send you on a wild goose chase through an airport and have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER. I will never fly with them or their affiliates again."
Pro: "I arrived safely without a scratch. The entire crew were very nice. Things were clean. There were no screens for the addicted. I got some sleep before the announcements and sales kicked in on the short flight."
Contra: "Gate was changed after initial assignment. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't sat almost in front of the counter and overheard a customer there saying my flight. I asked someone even closer to the counter if that's the gate, and was told no. There aren't even display boards at the counter so you really have to check. The right gate ended up on the opposite end of the airport, so I wasted a trip and a half, in a way. The previous flight was late, so we boarded half an hour late. We were warned to wait another half an hour on the tarmac but luckily got out in less than half that time. There was no liquid soap in the toilet. I unscrewed the bottle (they really save money and the environment there), put in hot water, and was able to get the soap I needed."

But when we arrived at Stanstead we waited a long time to get off of the plane, and the bags from the hold were not released for another hour and a half after landing, with no recogition of this or apology for the wait."

I had previously paid for checked bags and to reserve seats. Sneaky way for an airline to sucker people out of money. Have flown Ryan air before. Will never again. Unfortunate. Staff was welcoming and flight was comfortable. Not a reflection of employees. 100% reflection of upper management."
Contra: "Printing my boarding pass at home to make sure I didn't have to pay a 50 euro fee. It's hard enough to do it right before you leave, but we couldn't print anything for the flight back to Brussels."

Contra: "the airplane had a technical issue (they told us it had a flat tire during landing) but they didn't manage to change the wheel and we had more than 4 hours delay. We had to wait for another plane to land in Timisoara (from London) and they scheduled that plane to take us to Bucharest. They should be honest from the beginning instead of telling a lot of lies - it may avoid a lot of conflicts between passengers and crew."
Pro: "Cleanliness, polite crew, on time departure and landing. Good price."
Contra: "Priority boarding line....weird spit behind columns @ the gate, like we were hiding... uncomfortable spot, no chair / bench to sit for elderly passengers."

Contra: "Me and my colleague were obligated to pay a 45,00 euro fee per person for not doing the check in online. This was our first and last time flying with Ryanair. I was in vacation for the last week before the flight and did not have any internet/mobile access (no internet and no mobiles for vacation). At the check in the operator told us to pay a 45,00 euro fee for not doing the check in online. I appologize but no more Ryanair for me and all of family, friends and acquaintances."
Pro: "I liked the fact that my initial ticket was a good value. I liked arriving safely and on time. A Ryanair attendant took me under her wing and made sure I made my flight, without her, I would not have made it. I am thankful for her."
Contra: "Ryanair is not for the uninitiated. Nor for those who don't read the fine print. My baggage fees were not included, nor were the extra heavy baggage fees. My flight change fees were also as much money as my initial ticket. I almost missed my flight because of the extra time required to add in and pay for all of these fees. All told, at the end of the experience, I ended up spending 400% of the cost of my initial ticket. Be wary, be informed, read the fine print, and then be prepared for shamelessly overt marketing, uncaring bored male flight attendants, and a shabby dirty plane covered in cheap vinyl and bill boards. Next time I will pay any price to avoid this experience."

Contra: "When I bought the ticket, the plane was supposed to leave at 4:10pm, then it was changed to 4:30pm and although I asked for help explaining that I was going to miss my connection they said there was nothing they could do for me. So I lost my next flight and had to spend the night at a hotel at my own expense. They charge extra for checking in at the counter (43 euros), for your bag (40-60 euros), and their kg limit is 20 as opposed to 23 that most other airlines have, so they charge 10 euros per extra kg. During the flight you have to pay for everything you may want to eat/drink, including water."
