Contra: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Both luggages are missing. -made the complainment, now we are waiting to show up in Romania and to be delivered at home. -went to pick up the rental car, because of the plane delay, they gave our car away. -after trying several companies, we found a car, 3 times more expensive, but we have a car....yeeyy"

Might be the worst I've ever had on an airplane. The only way I could book seats ahead of flight day was to buy them - and then I didn't get them because of the delay and had to sit in the second to the last row where it was pretty bumpy."

The bureaucrats in Reservations have to approve, which they are disinclined to do. I wanted an earlier flight which had space and was told if would be £400 (for a one-way, one hour flight to Luxembourg from London. And that was only IF the almighty Reservations people decided to do it. LuxAir has completely disempowered it’s staff in the airports (the ones who have ALL of the customer contact). I’m going to fly BA from now on."

Contra: "Boarding took a LONG time, relative to other airlines. The gate agent had to enter each seat assignment into the computer as he checked our boarding passes -- he had no way to scan and automatically record each passenger's arrival. First class passengers universally arrived later than the rest of us -- with one gate agent, economy class passengers frequently stopped and waited until the agent verified the first-class passengers' phone-based boarding passes against their passports and entered their seats into the computer. The flight was rough. We spent 5-8 minutes taxiing from our tarmac "gate" to the air strip -- and it was a very rough, bumpy, uncomfortable ride. The landing was atrocious. The weather was apparently calm, and there were no apparent crosswinds; we landed hard, and both bounced and shook. The aircraft (Bombadier Q400), a turbo-prop, was roomy enough for us -- we're average-height people who aren't very big -- I saw taller people scraping the overhead (ceiling) when they stood in the passageway/aisle. I've ridden in much smoother turbo-props in the past. We had to wait an extra 5 minutes on the ground so that hand-carried luggage could be off-loaded before passengers. We had no "checked" hand-luggage, so it felt like a nonessential delay for us. We aren't terribly upset with Luxair, as this was a "local" commuter flight -- we won't be traveling on this aircraft again if we can help it."

Contra: "I fly Luxair a lot. They pretty much do what it says on the tin: fly you from A to B, on time, almost always with your luggage. But there's no pleasure in it. Boarding is by bus, onto small noisy airplanes. Surly ground staff take away bags at the aircraft steps unless they're very small hand bags. The crew are usually pretty nice, and they do serve drinks and a sandwich"

Contra: "Ayant fait le check in online pour un vol GVA-LUX la veille, l'ordinateur m'avait attribué la place 4A. À lembarquement on mappelle pour me dire quon mavait attribué une autre place, la 18C. Je voyage toujours côté hublot, jamais couloir. lorsque je demandai pourquoi on m'avait changé de place la préposée me dit, sèchement , que l'avion devait être équilibré car tout me monde "était assis à l'avant. Insatisfaite de sa réponse, je lui dit que le systeme m'avait attribué cette place et que je ne voulais pas être à l'arrière de l'appareil . Peut lui importait puisque de toute façon elle me remit mon billet avec le 4A biffé et remplacé par 18C au stylo, en me disant que je pourrais changer de place apres le décollage. Or il sest trouve que ma place initiale, 4A avait simplement ete réatribuée a une autre passager! J'étais furieuse de m'être fait mentir de façon aussi effrontée, car de toute évidence la préposée à l'embarquement savait très bien la vraie raison de cette réaffectation a un nouveau siege. J'organise des concerts et jai souvent à acheter des billets pour des musiciens qui viennent au Luxembourg. Je n'ai franchement plus l'envie , après m'être fait prendre pour une idiote, de les faire voler sur luxair."

I was unaware that the usb cord being inputted during taxiing As was my son. He was horrible to him!!"

If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

No announcement and no care for passengers approaching departure time. And to top it all no announcement of any delays. Pro: "Overall very good - no complaints. LOT is comparable with Lufthansa and KLM (the airlines I have most experience with) in terms of service and space. Boarding in Warsaw was chaotic - no announcements it just sort of started, I was in Zone 3 but there were only lines for Zones 1 and 2. The usual Central European pushing into the line. Flight was nice, smooth and good service. Leg room is limited but that is to be expected on any airline and flight. Would fly LOT again happily. On time, Captain made regular announcements. I arrived safely, as did my luggage. Can't wait for the direct service between Chicago and Budapest."

Pro: "Overall the flight was pleasant - the Bombardier is a great plane - there was enough leg room and space. I had a lovely view of the Tatra mountains. Captain made a couple of announcements and kept us informed of flight time, progress and so on. No complaints at all."

They won't be winning any customer service awards. They didn't offer drinks as often as United has especially on an international flight. They need to offer water more frequently."

Contra: "Packed in a sardine can for 9 hours is not fun. Being bussed out to a remote location for a wide bodied plane is crazy. At least at ORD we had a gate."

Contra: "Both Tap flights delayed, little info'/explanation about this.Boarding in Copenhagen chaotic, problematic tickets holding up the queue with only one staff member. Food on board was so boring and unappetising."

Contra: "The offered an upgrade to bid on. I did and was rewarded one for the 4 of us. It turned out that the seats were exactly like every other seat on the plane in size. They did provide free drinks and a well used towel. When you ask to be paid for an upgrade you should be clear what that really is."

Contra: "Really need to look at a more efficient way to board the passengers. Was pretty chaotic and the gate was way too small for so many people. Feel like the passengers with carry on luggage were thrown to the wolves while those with backpacks were treated way better."

Contra: "I am used to traveling continents with other companies. There has always been 2 check in bags allowed with no extra charge as long as you are under 23kg on each. I get to the airport with my 2 bags ready, TAP tells me on large holidays, they only allow 1 bag to be checked to my specific African destination until January 11. And that one bag will cost me $120. They will not let me have the second one. Who does that? How much sense is this supposed to have. I checked with others and they do not do that. That rule rule is unfair and racist. Now that I am back, I have a bag missing. Wow!"

Pro: "First time flying with TAP PORTUGAL and it was a great experience"

Pro: "In flight crew is really nice and respectful, seats were comfortable, clean bathrooms, in flight entertainment is good."
Contra: "Boarding at Lisbon airport was one of the worst experiences. Passengers were asked to line up at least 30 minutes before boarding started and it was hot in the terminal. As boarding started, passengers were split into groups by boarding zones...premium passengers boarded first as expected, then people with small bags. This is where the problem was because a group of four passengers who had one small bag (that could fit under seat) were allowed to go before passengers in boarding zones A/B. The whole idea is people who could fit bags under their seat would board first, but the tap team made a mess and allowed many passengers with large bags in as well. I was one of the last ones to be boarded and stranded on the line for over 40 minutes with my backpack...after traveling for a month and being delayed in Rome, last thing you want is stupid mistakes like this to cause you stress."

Pro: "Everything went according to the timetable, boarding was on-time and we even arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, so I can't really fault the service of the pilots, the cabin crew or the ground operations team. Food wasn't exactly stellar, but clearly a lot better than on most European flights operated by larger companies (Lufthansa, KLM, Air France etc.). The aircraft itself was clean and looked fairly new and well maintained"
Contra: "The seating was absolutely HORRENDOUS. Even though I'm nearly 6'3" (close to 1.90m), I generally never complain about seating space or legroom, even on low cost flights. This particular TAP aircraft, however, despite looking quite new, had some of the most cramped seating ever. Additionally, the trays were minuscule (you could barely place the entire food tray the service during the flight, let alone have another drink at the same time on the tray). Also, on the inbound flight (this was the return one), the seats were fitted with a very simple and clever tablet-holding mechanism, so you could easily watch something on your table while eating your food (from a similarly small tray table). The seat back pockets do not have any material/fabric on the sides, so stored items could easily slip out sideways from the pocket. Shame to have such a good in flight service and to be a punctual airline if you're going to carry your passengers cramped like cattle in seats 'rivalling' the ones on Ryanair flights on 4-hour long journeys."

Contra: "I am an Asian woman. After seeing the person who is a Caucasian man set next to me used the toile right in front of our seat twice during the flight, I went to use it. Just as I was entering the toilet a flight attendant yelled at me saying: "you can’t use this toilet. It’s for privileged people. You have to go to the end of the aircraft and use that one!" Then 10 minuets later another caucasian man seated behind me went to use the toilet right in front me without any problem."

Contra: "The long delay, more than 1.5 hours."

Pro: "First off I'd never heard of this airline but that was ok because we (group travel) were originally booked on another aiine I'd never heard if before either called Nirwegian. Well less than 24 hrs before we were scheduled to fly out, the exact same day, they cancel our flight! After a lot of phone calls and wait times we were booked onto TAP AIR PORTUGAL. Easy check in, my carry on was great, entertainment was on point, food was good (first European trip), crew was nice, plane was huge; just a good experience overall. I will definitely fly with them again."

I got home, I unzipped my bag and I do not have a pair of sneakers that were a gift for my baby and some other sweets, my luggage was half empty! The face of my disappointed kid broke my soul, that should not have happened."

Contra: "The sound for the movies did not work at my seat or my wife's seat."

Pro: "The crew was very nice, we boarded on time and landed a bit early which was nice. We recieved little snack packs that had a sandwich and a granola bar or fruit snacks and a juice."
Contra: "The seats were not very comfortable to sleep on for 6 hours as they didn't recline back too much but that is to be expected in 2nd class seats."

Contra: "The boarding process was nutz. We had to take a bus away from the terminal to board the plane. The flight was delayed. I was not very happy to have to spend $92 to check 2 bags."

Contra: "The entertainment for an international flight (9 hours) was horrendous. The tiny TVs were actually fuzzy and it is set up so that you cannot actually choose your movie. It is like watching TV where you may tune in to a movie 20 minutes into it playing instead of starting whatever movie you want from the beginning. To make matters worse, there was no plug-in in case you wanted to watch entertainment of your own on phone/iPad."

Contra: "Be aware at check-in. It seems TAP never keeps the promise on the seats you reserved/paid for. The seats reserved appear in your e-ticket and in their app after purchase. But at check-in you find you were moved to the back and to the middle. All good seats gone. Has happened frequently with us!"

Contra: "Their short flight from Frankfurt to Lisbon was not that comfortable. Seats were thin, close together. My knees were jammed against the seat in front of me. Glad the international flight was more comfortable. Somehow we did not get the memo that there was a 0 baggage allowance for an international flight. Most give 1 or two bags free. So when we had to pay 80 euros for each bag it started off our trip with TAP a lot disappointed. We still have to fly back and we can go online and pay before hand and get it for 45 euros each. Increased out ticket prices by 205 euros. Will make me take a second thought before I book with TAP again."
