I told him, so are my options limited, and running out of veggie food is not my problem, when I had booked veggie meal at 30000 feet and a flight duration of 16 hours. The attitude of one flight attendant "Ahmed" was horrible. He was never helpful, mean to passengers and would not offer any solution to any problem... I was travelling with an infant, and he refused to fill a bottle of water to prepare milk, and said that I had to wait until they finished their ongoing service.."

They also serve food once and you don't get a snack or anything--you don't even see the attendants--for another 10 hours. Then they serve breakfast close to an hour before landing. The crew is constantly telling you to sit as if you weren't allowed to use the toilet at all when the seatbelt sign is on--and it's on the whole time. So you have to be asking permission to use the toilet when you are right next to the toilet door and about to go in because they don't allow you to use it. That's not healthy for someone to hold it."

It was a pleasure to travel with Turkish Airlines. Excellent food, entertainment, and staff, not to mention the little pouches with basic necessities for the flight and the safety bags. It really gives you the feeling that this company cares for the comfort and safety of their clients.

You made me miss this flight, you are stranding us in Houston, 4 1/2 hours from Dallas.

Pro: "The rear exit of the plane. The cabin crew were very attentive, almost too much. I brought my cat and she didn't get to sleep much. I appreciate that the attendants wanted to visit with her and give her their attention but it kept her from sleeping and woke me up. Since she had no proper place to use the bathroom she needed to be sleeping to keep her body clock in order."

The entertainment is also the best system, with the most options I have seen on any airline. And the seats are much more comfortable than most planes- the headrests bend so much, you can actually sleep without your head rolling off the headrest!"
Contra: "My flight was cancelled ten days prior to departure. Nothing to do with weather. Without my permission they, booked my return flight with a 20 hour layover in Istanbul airport. I had to buy a new ticket home on a different airline. Waiting for a refund which currently seems impossible."

It did cool down eventually so they must have turned on air or fans, but I know the heat was on at some points which made it a bit uncomfortable for such a long flight."

Contra: "I was at the gate for my flight from Istanbul to Bucharest but 25 minutes before departure I noticed that passengers were lining up at a different gate so I asked what happened. I was told the flight had departed even though it was still 25 minutes before flight time. I then had to go to ticket sales where they charged me $425 dollars for the 80 minute flight to Bucharest. In the US, I would have been put on the next available flight fee of charge. I will never fly Turkish Airlines again."

Security people were rude and very busy talking to each other to tend to their jobs. One person would tell you to do something and the next person would give you completely different direction. They were arguing amongst themselves and not paying attention to one of the most important things.....customers."
Contra: "On AA flight there were two small children running up and down the airplane most of the flight. Very disturbing and no one could rest. They were playing chase, hitting everyone's seat, and screaming at each other quite a bit. Parents obviously did not discipline them at all. After waiting in the airport for a completely different flight and not know what to expect this flight was not a pleasant one. American Airlines had overbooked the flight and they were begging people to give up their seats. They had a weight problem due to fuel amount and when we were approaching DFW we were diverted to Houston because we did not have enough fuel to stay in a holding pattern. We sat on the tarmac for a couple of hours, refueled, several people got off the plane in Houston in order to make connecting flights and then we FINALLY flew back to Dallas"

At no point did any of the crew members do anything in regards to this family and their disruptive actions."

The staff tried to appease the many different situations as best they could, but they got wore out before the end of the the flight. There were people not sitting in their assigned seats, so mealtime was totally boggled and some got fed a full hour before the rest us is on the tail end of the serving. The last meal ( after I FINALLY got food, we had turbulence, so they stopped serving drinks to go with the meal, and no one ever came back and continued where they left off, so I ate my meal without a drink. I don't blame the airline because it was the many children in that section that made it absolutely miserable for everyone on board, but it was the worst flight I have ever taken...hands down."

One steward from Frankfurt to Dallas was pre-judging my food choice based on how I look. Normally that would not bother me, but he kept asking if I had ordered a Vegetarian or Hindu meal several times even after I confirmed that I had requested the standard meals for all my journey. The same steward on the Dallas to Frankfurt demonstrated the same questionable behavior. Infants on the flight get very noisy and Lufthansa Staff can help by asking accompanying parents to be prepared prior to take off and landing with warm milk in the baby milk bottles which the children can ingest to equalize ear drum pressure. Unfortunately cabin crew is not using this simple technique and the children on board cry excessively with lot of pain making everyone around them very uncomfortable. This can be nerve wracking for all accompanying Lufthansa passengers near bulkhead rows. Frankfurt Main is too dependent on bus transportation causing passengers to get wet on days when rain occurs."

Contra: "Frankfurt airport: Had to walk for an hour to get from gate to gate. I was getting off an international flight and onto another international flight. International gates are usually closer than that. On the flight: 1. The armrests pull up, which is great if you're traveling with family or a significant other. But, in my case, it was an overweight and obese lady, who didn't fit in her seat and just slipped into half of mine. I was stuck with half a seat with her arm bumping mine for a 12-hour flight. I landed with a bruised arm. It was a round trip flight. When I had submitted a complaint, Lufthansa refunded me a 100$, which is nice of them, but I think they should have upgraded me for my return flight instead to make up for the first flight being uncomfortable. 2. I paid for the internet service and was charged double for it. Again, had to submit a complaint and was refunded the money. Check-in: The online system wouldn't allow me to check in online because my passport wasn't biometric."

Contra: "My flight was cancelled due to the pilots' strike. I only learned about this when I attempted online check in. Lufthansa never attempted to notify me. Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

Contra: "I upgraded to 1st class for both flights but the plane seating was very dismal and hadn't been upgraded in either of these planes for a long time. After we boarded the plane we were told that no drink, snacks or food would be offered. The attendant shut off the lights as soon as we got in the air and kept it dark in the cabin until 10 minutes before we landed. She never came around to check on us once or ask if we needed anything. I was so thirsty when we landed. I have decided that I will either go back to United Airlines or check out the 1st class options at American Airlines better next time. This might not have been their fault, I'm not sure what it was, but the flight was late landing and we took off an hour late as well which really put me behind schedule."

Every seat in both of my flights was completely filled, meaning that we were squished up next to everyone despite any efforts to stay 6ft away from each other in the airports. Many passengers were wearing their masks incorrectly (not covering their nose, TAKING OFF THE MASK TO SNEEZE) and were not being asked to wear their mask properly by staff. I felt completely unsafe and won't be flying American again until there is a vaccine for covid."

Then after another delay they realised that off loading people meant off loading their baggagge, total delay nearly 2 hours The hedset socket on the entertainment system did not work The USB port did not work THey ran out of food after serving three rows, loaded four sandwiches, no wraps and 2 cheese plates for a full evening flight that was over 5 hours in duration including the delays."
Contra: "The seats are extremely restrictive and in a aisle seat I had the gentleman sitting next to me with thighs touching and attendants brushing by me as I squished to left to avoid contact with him. Entertainment screen between center seat and window seat so I just didn't even try to look at it and mostly just leaned forward to have a little space. Also another inch or 2 was taken by person in front of me putting their seat back. With such restrictive space why is this even possible??? Flying has become ridiculous and I try not to as much as I can."

There were 5 people trying to connect to the same flight so it’s pretty rediculous that we were told to rebook when the plane didn’t leave the gate for 15 more minutes. This was the call of the airline and it was handled poorly. The rebooking agent was also extremely rude and seemed totally self absorbed. This was my worst flying experience out of approximately 50 flights this year. Never again American."
Contra: "Did not know that we did not fly with British Airlines (as I had printed out before my first flight to Germany) was replaced with American Airlines. I lost valuable time at the airport and almost missed the flight. Chaotic and unexpected baggage problems before boarding to Dallas: the board luggage, same as we had on the way over, was not accepted and had to be checked in. Problem since we had to move laptop, etc. before the actual boarding. Attendants not as professional as they should be. Also seats were changed -- I was not able to sit with my daughter who regularly gets travel sickness. Overall not a good experience. But the worst: changing airlines and not being informed!!!!"
Pro: "Great classical music selection, great entertainment program. Unfortunately, not working for all, system was re booted but didn't work for all but for me"

Contra: "First flight TUS to DFW was delayed by 3 hours causeing us to mist all the remaining flights. Had to scramble to find other flights DFW to LHR and LHR to DUB. We arrived at our destination 10 hours. No reason for the delay was given. Lousey service on AA."

Contra: "Had to run to gate after two buses to reach correct terminal. Saw info that flight was closing. Held up at gate due to confusion with my boarding pass. Limited leg room on flight. End of flight huge queues at Dallas airport for security. After a long flight a passenger does not need to be corralled through excessively long winding lines."
Pro: "I had a connection flight to JFK I came before the time about 15 min and crew saw me but she told me, sorry someone took your seats I lost around 4000$. This happened at Dallas airport."
Contra: "I didn’t take my outbound so they cancelled my return flight without notifying me. I had to pay $200 to buy my seat back. American is about as bad as spirit.."

Contra: "The plane had one of those aggravating screens on the back of every seat. I turned it off AT LEAST EIGHT TIMES and it kept coming back on, first to try to sell me on a credit card offer, then to show me previews of movies I wasn't going to watch on a 5 AM FLIGHT that was lasting 75 MINUTES. I finally tore a page out of the AA magazine and wedged it against the screen so I could actually sleep without it constantly blinking on and disturbing me. Next time, I'm going to smash the screen. If I want it off, leave it off."
Contra: "Air conditioning seemed to be inoperative. I asked the flight attendant and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. When it’s a 12+ hour flight that’s a problem"

Contra: "Staff at the check-in counter made fun of my surname. Bad start but not noteworthy unless combined with the rest of the experience. The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."

Contra: "American Airlines is running neck and neck with United, competing for the world’s worst airline. They have crammed so many seats onto their planes that I’m surprised it isn’t a health hazard. I was in an aisle seat and every time I started to fall asleep, someone going down the aisle slammed into me, making any sort of rest impossible. And the flight attendants had the typical U.S. flight attendant perma-rage, of course. I feel sorry for them, underpaid and overworked, but always p***ed off. Anerican Airlines needs to look at Emirates and other non-U.S. carriers to learn how to treat their passengers."
Contra: "I was on a flight to Dallas on an American Airline flight which arrived late due to weather conditions, and the connecting flight didn't even wait for me although they know why I couldn't make it on time. And I was only late for about 5 minutes."

Contra: "AA gate crew checked my bag at the gate, but to the wrong person!! I missed my flight because I had to go find it in baggage claim, take a taxi to another terminal, hoof it across the terminal to TSA pre-check which was 45 people deep and slow as a snail, then run to the gate (which was at the ooooother end I originally entered through). I missed my flight literally by 3 minutes. There was no one at the gate to help me, AA staff kept telling me to go to different places, getting a new flight was INSANE. The whole experience was a pure nightmare."
Contra: "The crew was abrupt, harsh, spoke down to the passengers, sighed, rolled their eyes, etc. It's their job to serve drinks, and attend to passenger requests and needs. They made it seem like they were being put upon to get a glass of hot water or coffee. If someone asked what type of juice they had, they rolled their eyes and answered rudely. No one smiled and seemed friendly"
Pro: "Very friendly, constantly hard working crew. They didn't stop moving through the cabin for the whole flight. Swift boarding."
Contra: "Extremely poor food. Airline food is rarely enjoyable but I had two mouthfuls of my pasta and left the rest even though I was hungry. Dreadful "entertainment " system. 4 tiny screens over the centre row is seats showed the in flight movies. This on a transatlantic flight. What decade are American Airlines in?! The fleet look like they date back to the '90's at best!!"

Finally called their customer service line only to learn that I could get on another flight that left in a few minutes. Door was still open but gate agent argued with the lady on 800 line about who could ticket faster. By time they finished arguing the door closed. That began a 14 hour nightmare of bumping between flights and delays and the inevitable lost luggage. Paid for $300 hotel room at Vancouver that I will get to stay in for 4 hours. Will NEVER fly American again"

Instead, I was put in mid-row seats 42D and 24E, on both flights. No notification or explanations from American Airlines or Kayak, and no refund...yet. Any comments?"
Contra: "Several consecutive issues delayed our start, then had a weather hold before we could descend. VERY crowded, got stuck with a window seat with a very large man next to me--better than B or D, at least."

I was sitting across the way, so, perhaps they didn't hear me say no thanks. The entertainment system was awful. You had to go through all the steps again and again every time you tried to simply check flight information. Annoying. When we arrived DFW customs, one of our bags was missing. Still in London. No surprise. LHR is awful. We would not see that bag again for nearly 4 days. They gave me some thing about a belt problem between T5 and T3 in LHR. We went from T3 to T3. No excuse. Probably fell off somewhere. Chocolates were a bit melted and chip bags burst. Whenever it was, it sat in heat."
Contra: "I do not understand when a global carrier knows the plane will not arrive the next day that they do not find a suitable replacement. The plane interior was outdated!"
Pro: "Ticket price is reasonable when I bought it 6 weeks before my trip."
