Contra: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."
Contra: "I missed somehow the distribution of headsets, and I never got one (after asking for one). (Un-)fortunaltely there was no movie I really wanted to watch, or classical music for my taste (recitals, chamber music). Anyway, this is not a major problem, just a tiny glitch. The random boarding went surprisingly well, although I'd prefer the more structured version. Until there is bread, butter and cheese, I am fine with the bland food."

During the flight I was thinking this was literally the best transatlantic flight I've ever had, and if I can make it work with my schedule and cost constraints I'm going to fly Lufthansa every time. I never really had a 'favorite' airline before, but I do now--Lufthansa. I should have captured the economy classes crews names, but it was 414 from Munich to Dulles on 25 May--they were truly outstanding."

Apparently the equipment was changed and I did not learn that I would need a seat re-assignment until I scanned my boarding pass during boarding. (However, the gate agent was quick to accommodate)."

Contra: "I typically enjoy Frankfurt airport but perhaps because of a construction, not this time. There was endless walking to get to the gate for the connecting flight that wasn't supposed to be all that far. After about 20-25 walk, we finally arrived to .... the train station that took us to the next terminal. Really? It takes 20-25 to just get to the train when walking straight without the train shouldn't be taking any longer? In addition, our (checked-in) car seats were not transferred and never made it to our final destination, so we had nothing to put the kids in for the ride from the final airport."

Contra: "Boarding did not proceed by rows as customary so boarding was a bit chaotic with everyone rushing to the gate. The reclining seats aee an issue. Although comfortable for the ones reclining they are uncomfortable and at times painful ( taller people) and makes watching the screen impossible when fully reclined."
Contra: "The return leg has been nothing but a disaster, in every way possible, specifically my time and financially. At no point in the booking process, when I paid over $800 for the trip, was I told that I needed a specific travel visa (Canadian ETA) to fly back into Toronto for my return flight. Subsequently when I checked in for my flight yesterday morning in Manchester, England, I did not have the required travel documents and had to be rerouted onto a flight into the U.S. at a cost to me of $350. The rerouted flight got me to Washington Dulles airport, where I then had to purchase a second flight to get me home to Cleveland, Ohio, at an additional/extra cost of $450. MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"
Contra: "No notification to us, we found out through the news as we were checking in 24 hours prior. Thrived calling Lufthansa - their message actually told me to call back. When I tried to go online, our booked flight didn't even show up to change or cancel. Booked another flight from another city (Amnsterdam) at my own expense. Expect compensation from Lufthansa."

I was not sleeping but somehow the stewardess was going around quickly because I heard her in back of me. I thought she was headed in my direction but she had already passed me and then the drinks came around so I could not get thru to go back and ask for the "pizza". I wish the stewardesses would make a quick check up and down the isles in case someone dozed off. The first meal that I received was very good but I am glad I didn't miss it when they came around. Especially that I traveled alone. I do have to say that the comfort of the seats on the way to Europe was much better. It was a different airline."

Contra: "There was a 4.5 hr delay due to "technical difficulties". We had to switch planes. This caused me to miss my flight to Tucson out of LAX. When I asked them to help rebook my flight that Lufthansa caused ne to miss, i was told there is nothing they can do. Seeing as how that last flight was not booked through Lufthansa. This is absolutely ridiculous! There were no Lufthansa flights into Tucson so I had no choice but to go with another carrier! So after a long grueling 4.5 hr delay and 11+hr flight now I have to stay in a hotel because my flight out via Southwest was the last one out for the day and The only nonstop flight departs at 12:35 tomorrow. Thank goodness Southwest booked me on another flight at no charge! They take care of their customers. It was not their fault I missed the flight. It was dur to the "techincal difficulties" with Lufthansa. And every hotel within a 8 mile radius has been sold out. And at one point I booked online only to find out upon my arrival, after paying for taxi and havig him leave, thAt this hotel is sold out and should not have allowed me to book online. So after landing at 7:15 pm at LAX I am just now in bed at a hotel after searching and paying for cabs etc. And on my dime! Absolutely ridiculous !!"
Pro: "The flight itself was great... A bit of turbulence, but otherwise quite comfortable. Crew and captain were excellent."
Contra: "The plane arrived 2 hours late, causing me to miss a train from Marseille to Nîmes, and costing me money for an extra night's hotel that I hadn't planned (Marseille), plus wasting money for the night at the hotel that I HAD planned (Nîmes), plus the cost of having to purchase an additional train ticket for the following morning. The $7 voucher at the airport was nice, but honestly doesn't come close to making up for the cost and inconvenience."

Contra: "As this is the only Abuja flight of the day, Lufthansa was willing to wait a half hour for late-arriving passengers. Good if you are one of them, not great sitting on the plane for no reason. Frankfurt doesn't have the same tight connection processing as Munich."
Pro: "Gluten free food was poor quality and tasteless. However the crew was very nice and helped us get additional snacks we could eat. Entertainment system choices were good, but system was very slow to respond and headphones were terrible. I would have used my own but did not have the adapter. Flight was on time and at one time got too hot from the sun outside. We sat next to a problem passenger that made the flight unpleasant. I can't blame the airline for that. Half way through the flight he was moved which was much better."

I did not like that and I believe that if you choose to work in an environment where you are going to be providing assistance to people you should have excellent people skills. Maybe she had a bad day (I dont know) but still there is no need to answer back in a rude way to a customer."

Staff was unpleasant, everyone seemed stressed, rushed and simply unhappy to be there. Bad attitude in sime cases. Next time I'll make sure I check who is actually OPERATING the flights...."

The flight was supposed to arrive at 12:30 am and arrived over an hour later. I arrived at my destination 3am and kept people up waiting for me. My large suitcase was covered in beer."

Contra: "Because of its wheels, my suitcase wouldn't fit their dimensions for gate check and they charged me 50 euros before boarding. They could have waived the suitcase through or offered to upgrade me to Priority, but they preferred to make an example of a passenger. They make you parade with your suitcase to the front of the line to "prove it." I will not fly on Ryanair again."

Contra: "Some noisy passengers behind us who swore a lot and the cabin staff did nothing to quiten them down sadly. Not much legroom."

Contra: "I was seated in 1A next to the window and main door and the one side of my body froze. My nose started to run. An hour before the end I got up and found another seat. But it was cold there too. Also hated the emails they sent me in advance which had me inputting all info before leaving - only to find that “free check-in is not allowed.” I will not fly with them again. It’s not worth the money saved."
Pro: "Ryanair is a budget airline, so the flights are cheap and the service is ok."

Contra: "I paid extra for priority boarding and, though I was one of the first 20 passengers on board, I was not allowed to put my bag in the overheard compartment. I was told to put both my purse (not a tiny one, mind you) and my carry on bag under the seat. And, because I had an isle seat, the space was smaller than average. So I had to fly cramped up. Because I'm not an EU citizen, I had to queue up as if to check in luggage to have a stamp placed on my boarding pass. Then another queue to board the plane because they don't bother to call by row or group number like most airlines. The boarding was chaotic. The seats are very uncomfortable. They don't even give you one small cup of water. You have to pay 3 euros for a bottle of water that would cost you 1 elsewhere. Finally, the landing was very hard and shook everyone about."
