In missing by only 20 minutes, we have lost an entire day of our trip and are spending 9! hours in the airport today. There was no communication between flights clearly. Despite there being an earlier flight we could’ve been placed on after missing our connection - we did not get booked on this flight. I asked why and they just randomly placed people on random flights with no regard for when we showed at the desk. In this scenario, a first come first serve would have alleviated an absolutely awful experience. I will never fly Swiss Air again and will urge people I know to not fly this airline. The experience was extremely frustrating, the best response from an employee was “that’s all I can do for you” and I wish it on no one."

I found out that the ticket fare did not contain checked luggage ( so I had to pay a hefty fee for it ) and also my 20" wheeled case that was ok in all the other flights I took it with me, this time was oversized and overweight . My wife took out the 2 laptops so it became within weight limits but still oversized - My wife paid for the fee ( I wasn't there at the time and she is not a such experienced flyier as I am ) . When I found out about the fee, I checked their rules and I found out that the hand luggage is allowed to be 22" . I saw in the airplane a lot of people with cases having the same size as mine, that went as checked luggage at a cost fo around 40 . I want to see how can I get my money back . . ."

Give me a price from the beginning with a seat assignment."

Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

Contra: "There are two types of foot-rests, both are a nuisance for people with long legs. The one popping up from below one's seat is extremely hard to put back in place. The metallic one folding down from under the seat in front cannot be secured back and is always in the way if the passenger needs to stretch his/her legs. This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."

Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

It is a huge plane with a huge sized business class which makes the cost less worth it compared to a Boeing. The crew were extremely helpful and caring. The food was acceptable. The seats on the plane were not comfortable in the lying position. Took a cab to our hotel in Paris (1st Arr) for a flat 50 euros. No meters."

They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."

If this is how LOT pays attention to our health during travel, I will definitely not fly with them anymore. 2 months earlier flying with Lufthansa and all crew was very strict about the rules and everybody on board was wearing a mask."

When I and several other passengers question the desk at the gate about the bringing a large vicious dog into the plane, we were told they were to busy to deal with us even though they were just standing there doing nothing. I have never seen such rudeness towards passengers as I did at that gate. I will take a ship across the Atlantic before I go through Warclaw again."

I think the flights from WAW are delayed bcz of the other flights coming into WAW are delyed and since there are only one international flight a day they wait for these flights to arrive so they can take off. This is what happened in my case. The crew was very nice. I traveled with two small children and they were very helpful. I would def flight with LOT again"

The flight was over an hour late with no explanation. There was a plane at the gate when we landed, which added to the tardiness of arrival. They were so non Chalant about so many people missing their connecting flights. It was like they already knew they were going to put us on Lufthansa 2 hours later... polish airlines Is awful- the airport personnel even worse. No one respects standing in line. Airport officials kept cutting into the security lines which literally cost me the 5 minutes that I could have made the flight. I am very diasspointed and kayak should not advertise this airline."

Pro: "I am not sure where to start from but each lot employee I talk with had poor English and not the tinyest willing to help just to move , I had a flight back from cezh republic to JFK with a stop in Warsaw When I got to the front desk in the air port to print my ticket the Liady ( work at Sation 236 ) was very rude and anti costumer service she print me only my first fly ticket and when I ask why she " I don't know " I said ok so when u get there you know which get I go or where I will print the other ticket she say I don't know Ok and then I ask her can u check if it a room I. My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

I had a connecting flight I would have missed if it wasn't delayed. They also had the door open while waiting and the heat and humidity was pretty stifling with everyone already standing up waiting to disembark."

Contra: "LOT planes were late to both directions to the place and 2 weeks later from the place. When we flew with my little daughter - toddler to the destination the plane was late and as a result we were late to another plane, so they sent us to the same destination country but to the different place and then I had to find out were to go further while our luggage was lost (found in 3 days). When we flew back, the plane was late once again and I was told that we might will be left until next day morning, so lots of nervous and stress. The food provided was very poor as well - basically just small chocolate bar and water, tea or coffee, so if you are hungry it would not really help you."

Contra: "The flight was delayed an hour. The crew in the Kiev airport wouldn't allow check-ins for a long period of time. Many people stood in a long line for at least an hour with no information about why they couldn't check in. When we did check in, they couldn't print my wife's boarding pass for the next flight and told us that we would have to print it at the gate. We found out in Poland that she was missing an eTA number necessary for her to fly into Canada. With the flight delay and lack of information, the application did not process in time, and we missed our connecting flight. As a result, we were stuck in Poland for 24 hours, leading to lost sleep, added expense, and much frustration."
Contra: "No new movies or no tv shows to watch on a 9hr flight. If I knew I would have downloaded movies on my phone or on a usb stick(u have the possibility of using those). Horrible food, cannot even describe! No free alcohol. If you pay cash for the alcohol you end up paying double as if you pay with Credit card. I paid for 3 drinks, were brought only 2 and when I asked for the 3rd one they didn't understand what I want. Crew speaks only polish, they have little knowledge of English language. They are not helpful and they don't care about passengers! Delays on every flight, Friday LOT airline doesn't have to many flights out of Warsaw! Be aware, in the event of a delay and loosing your connecting flight you might end up spending a night in Warsaw. I WILL NEVER USE LOT AGAIN and I will make sure to spread the word!!!"

Kayak didn't mention or made me aware of my "kind" of ticket. Either Kayak makes consumers aware of this or LOT shouldn't be posting their flights on Kayak. 2. I flew Eurolot, "A partner of LOT" and not LOT. It should also be CLEAR what it is one is flying."
