Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

I was assigned last row and middle seat, I could not change seat when there were other seats available at check-in. United would not let agents change either. Maybe kayak related? The thing that made me really upset was that we all (passengers) left the terminal to get to the plane and we had to wait outside till we could start entering the plane. I really don’t understand why someone made us to wait outside while it’s freezing cold when the doors are not open or plane is not ready. That was unreasonable and ruined my trip."

Flight times are shitty. Te leave early in the morning so you can barely get some sleep at night. Nor on the plane. They don't any serve food or even water and let you dry up. You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."

Check-in was fairly quick and incident-free, despite some of the other passengers reporting problems with the procedures and the staff. Boarding was quick and the flight actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled."

When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. Yes, like a bully, demanded for money, or else.... Worst service i had ever experienced in my 16 years of traveling."

Contra: "I had a medical emergency, and these are non refundable so I contacted the airline to let them know I would not be on the flight so I would not be held further accountable for our absence."

Pro: "Nothing. Flying with Ryanair is like travelling in purgatory"
Contra: "The app would not let me check in the previous day then they charged me a disgusting €55 to check in. The staff were unable to use any discretion. They clearly all hate working for Ryan Air. Flight was delayed by two hours. Overall appalling experience as it always is."

Pro: "On time flight and decent boarding process (not too much fuss over baggage size and weight)."
Contra: "Seating policy - it’s ridiculous to charge passengers to be seated together, even if they’re flying on the same booking. It only leads to on-board seating “trades” and negotiations to get people to agree to swap seats. Embarrassing!"

Pro: "Flight was cheap, boarding was quick and the whole experience was about that of your average Ryanair flight! Got a chance to speak to the captain of the flight in the cockpit after landing, had a quick chat about the aircraft as well as my own PPL lessons which start next Sunday."
Contra: "You're flying cross-continent for the same price as a bus fare, there ain't much wrong with Ryanair!"

Pro: "They denied the me boarding,I want my money back"

Pro: "Although I had a 40 minutes flight, it was really good. The crew were very amiable and fun. All amazing!"

Pro: "I liked getting off it he aircraft n Dublin."
Contra: "I didn't like that we were told the aircraft was ready to board at 8.30 pm and we were still stood waiting at 9.10 pm. I didn't like the staff's 'nobody cares, you're the last flight of the day' attitude, I didn't like we were late in but there was no apology for that, I didn't like that we got whiplash on landing, and I didn't like the apathetic manner that we were let off the aircraft. I realise it had been a long day, but it was for all of us. There were a lot of parents with very young children on that flight, so leaving them standing for 40 minutes to board just made them all fractious. By the time we boarded, those poor kids were beyond tired, so they were all crying. If Ruinair knew they were going to be late, there was no need to speed us towards a queue we'd be standing in for a good while after, they could have allowed the parents, kids and elderly to remain seated. All this did was serve to underline how little respect they treat their passengers with. Its unnecessary. ."

Contra: "Awful experience with Latvian staff during boarding. Luggage passed weight and size inspection from Milan to Riga. It has also passed inspection in Riga, but was checked again during boarding. Staff did not want to work with us and penalized my kid by charging him 53 Euro luggage fee. Disappointed that some staff members have suaded us to never fly Ryanair again"

Pro: "Very good"
Contra: "i' sat in row 10 with aspare seat next to me, my wife is in row 32 with 2 empty seat s next to her.Otherwise all good."

Pro: "Friendly crew."
Contra: "Hour late departure , which is a frequent event... perhaps due to summer weather. Putting a two year old sitting alone, away from parents and insisting parents should make arrangements with other passengers. Standing outside the plane another fifteen minutes."

Pro: "They were professional and efficient"
Contra: "It was required to check in prior to arrival to airport to avoid a fee. I did not have internet access still I arrived. I had to pay 55 euro for a simple check in. Not fair to folks who do not use data for internet nor WiFi. A email could be sent 72 hours but that does not mean people check all emails or they even have access to the web. It’s not a fair or smart business move, I will not book with them again."

Contra: "An hour delay"

Pro: "all airline staff caring and helpful"
Contra: "N/A"

Pro: "Chatting with fellow passengers in the queue"
Contra: "Lack of regular information regarding delays. Even the occasional "we still have no updates" would have been helpful."

Pro: "I liked that we received an alert mail from them several days in advance telling us to check in and pay for our checked luggage. Bags paid for in advance were reasonably priced."
Contra: "Clerk could not print boarding passes at the airport check in counter. Four clerks at check in counter, but only one could check in passengers for our flight. Long, outside walk from the plane to the terminal in Budapest."

Pro: "I like a quick and efficient boarding process."
Contra: "I don't like to sell foods in the airplanes."

Pro: "I don’t need anything fancy for a short flight. Low cost, safe travel is the primary goal, and that’s what we got. The ratings chart doesn’t allow you to choose N/A but there was no food or entertainment for me to rate anything, and for such a short flight, it wasn’t needed anyway."
Contra: "Baggage fees are too high. €40 for one bag, each way? Too much. €20 each way is more reasonable, in my opinion, especially when standard international carry-on bags are not allowed. So for one bag for a family of four, we had to pay €80 and still had to buy a carry-on bag that was small enough to be allowed, other than taking the kids’ school backpacks. Please reduce the cost of luggage if you need to maintain the much smaller carry-on bag size. Also, passengers should be directed to keep their carry-on above their own seat, and not fill the front overhead compartments if their seats are in the back. It causes a lot of confusion at time of boarding and de-planing. Some elderly travelers were unable to manage their luggage, let alone go against traffic in the aisle to find overhead space in the back when they likely paid more to have their seata in the front. Not fair at all to pay more for front seats but not have the benefits of those seats. Also, I used the online chat tool before the flight to understand the baggage fees. The representative on the chat was particularly rude. Not good customer service. I figured out what I need to know so that’s the most important thing, but there was no reason for his nastiness."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "The airline made us go to the gate where there was no seating, though they knew the flight was an hour late, so we stood for an hour, before being told we had to check carry on bags in the hold, carrying computers,valuables, batteries, and drinks in our hands (not possible). Card payment on board was disabled. Payment in the currency of the departing country was impossible."

Contra: "Trying to work my way threw the line to board as I had priority boarding. Had to pay for water even in priority. Can't see why I paid for priority. No leg room in priority. Very disappointed."

Pro: "Price is good."
Contra: "No pouch behind seat to put my magazine in. We chose random seating and it seems like they deliberately seated us in different places because we were a couple rows apart and traded seats with someone who was also separated, which put us all back with our travelling companions. Online check in was really quirky."

Pro: "It got me home."
Contra: "Firstly, there were no sandwiches (hot or cold) available on a late afternoon flight, so the remaining food options were poor. Secondly, my £7 Gin and Tonic that I'd hardly touched slid right off the frankly useless trays and into my lap. The flight attendant literally threw me a few paper towels to help. I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."

Contra: "Had to pay 50 extra since did not check in online"

Pro: "It would have been good to know in advance that checking a bag would cost half as much as the flight itself. But why did I have to check in online then stand in line to be told to stand in a second line to pay for my bag only to stand in the same line again to actually do the check in? Why? When it was done I asked the agent where to go to find the gate and he only waived on the next customer. I didn't seem to be worth his attention."
Contra: "Customer service"

Contra: "You charged me an extra 150 Euro because I did not receive your e mail and could not register on line my flight. I complained at Airport in Greece and no one would assist me. I am writing the NY Times and Washington Post about your strategy to take extra $ from first time flyers of your airline. Shamfull !!!! Pro: "The crew were friendly."
Contra: "The bureaucracy over an extra bag that took 7 different conversations to resolve."

Pro: "They got me where I wanted to go."
Contra: "I felt threatened by the generally rude staff for arriving approriatly early for my flight and packing the right sized luggage. This airline is not worth the small amount of money you pay. The next time we fly we will chose anyone but Ryanair. Overall a pretty poor experience."

Pro: "Nice new planes, comfortable environment."
Contra: "No soap in bathroom, mentioned to crew she was aware of it, did not seem happy I did."

Pro: "The ticket was cheap."
Contra: "We had a RT from Rome to Athens. When we returned we arrived at 11pm with a flight at 6am. I had intended to go to a hotel 0.2 mile away, but when we got there and I found out I had to pay a min $50 fee to the cab to leave the airport, I balked. We considered just waiting it out in the airport; until midnight when they suddenly cleared the airport of all the people waiting for transfers and had everyone wait outside on the sidewalk (no seating or anything). I was in shorts and it was 45F. Sigh. Both going to and coming from Athens boarding was more like a riot. I was told it was because Italians were hot blooded. Whatever. I awaited bloodshed. My mother is 73 and we had asked for assistance with boarding. We waited as people filled the hall, surrounded the podium, and slowly were shoved on board, and still no wheelchair or assistance. We kept being told to calm as the gate closed and the departure time passed. Eventually a very nice man got mom loaded like cargo and it was kind of fun, but I didn't get the impression that the airport or Ryanair were a particularly well oiled machine. As usual, arm + leg for baggage. No free drinks and teh entertainment was a non stop cavalcade of sales from the overhead of everything from perfume to lottery tickets. If I had a long trip in a city and wanted to take a short jump to a Ryanair city with my skivvies in my purse, this is a great airline. It's crappy in every way, but cheap. But, if you want a suitcase or food or a seat that doesn't worry you about it's cleanliness and give you leg cramps for weeks, pony up for the extra."

Pro: "The airport was great"
Contra: "Flight was late leaving, the airport kept changing gates so people were running back and forth, a lot of turbulence in flight."

Pro: "Everything, price, knowledge, clean planes, great customer service"

Pro: "I can't think of any."
Contra: "Rude gate staff at Otopeni Airport insisting I place my hand luggage in the hold until I informed them I had priority seats. The whole concept of priority boarding goes out the window as boarding was via a bus"

Pro: "I liked the price...boarding from a hangar in the freezing cold in early morning wasn't so delightful but overall...it took off, it landed and that's all you can ask if an airline"
Contra: "Didn't like the hangar"

Pro: "I hated everything"
Contra: "I will never fly with Ryanair again. They ripped off all my money. If I would have booked 2 tickets with British airways would have been much better and cheaper."

Pro: "Easy online Check In Low price Friendly welcoming on counter and on plane"

Pro: "The flight attendants were very funny and friendly. They were proffessional and helpful."

Contra: "There was nothing I could eat. None of it appetising. And not even about cost."

Pro: "the crew , arriving on time , good boarding speed"
Contra: "the landing :)"

Pro: "You won't even get a cup of water in this airline (3 euros) nor any rest. Seats don't recline and the flight crew ceaselessly and loudly hawks a catalogue full of merchandise. They even sell scratch-off lottery tickets to supposedly "benefit" some unnamed undisclosed "children's' charity". If you must check bags, you'll eat up any savings you might of had on the ticket purchase. I'd likely choice another carrier."
