Boarding process confusing
Contra: "Reckless and inconsiderate airline. The only carrier refusing to modify travel due to Covid-19 pandemic"
Pro: "The crew was friendly and helpful."
Contra: "The aircraft looked new. However the seat widths seemed small. Awkward recline as well. The seats were just not comfortable."

Contra: "Entertainment monitor kept stopping, then going, fast forward, then fast reverse. Watched a 1 hour 10 minute movie that took 2 hours 40 minutes to view. I am over 200 cm in height, the passenger in front of me was 163 cm with seat all the way back while sitting on the edge of her seat playing games. The monitor I was watching was about 14 cm from my face. I never put my seat back, but I sure as hell will now. This flight was over seven hours, that is to long to be contorted."

Pro: "The flight itself was very enjoyable. The only negative aspect was that the first leg of the flight was delayed long enough that I almost missed my connecting flight and my baggage was lost."
Contra: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."
Pro: "I was rerouted to another country so that I could still make it to Greece on the same day."
Contra: "The flight was delayed from Newark so I had to be rerouted to another country before going to Greece."

Contra: "Plane felt like a 1990 air France flight. Cabin dated. The least amount of room I can remember on a plane. When sitting upright and the person in front reclined, i looked at their head and if I crossed my arms, it would touch the seat in front. Could not pick up pillow that dropped on the floor, could not bend around the seat in front. Very hard to get out to use the toilet. Felt very claustrophobic."
Contra: "The service was not great which surprised me for swiss. The flight attendant was absolutely not into work. The seats supposed to work.. wasn’t .. we had to switch the seats with no help and with the lights off. Awful .. of course they didn’t noticed so they didn’t woke me up for the breakfast. (And I’ve been asking for). Maybe was bad luck but that’s really ridiculous. During the flight they didn’t brought water or something we had to call them."

Pro: "Flight was fine! Snack and beverages were good. However, when you buy the ticket for the international flight, what they don’t tell you is the extra €40- FORTY EURO you will spend to check a not big bag. For this reason I would fly with another airline next time."

No entertainment only on BYOD even in business. Business is super basic from a seating and comfort aspect.

Contra: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

I did not fly back to United States thru British airway from Milan to London. London to San Diego on February 5th because my roommate and I got stuck in Egypt, Italy on February 1st as Egyptair at the airport denied us going to Milan due to Covid situation in Italy. We both were tested Covid negative on February 1st. We wanted to fly on British Airway to London on February 1st but not availability. We do not want to stay overnight in Egypt and take another Covid test. Other planes were not available for us to go home on that day except Qater airline. We purchased Water air tickets at Cairo airport and flew home. I called British airway last Friday to cancel seat reservation from Milan, to London to San Diego. I asked for refundable but he said it is not British Airway responsible to get refundable. He said it is my travel agent under AmaWaterWay’s responsible. My agent emailed me today that I did not let British Airway know that I cancelled flights. I feel I should get refundable. I like British airway service as I flew from San Diego to London and from London to Cario on January 19th. Beverly Greer
The flight was ok, but the number of people not wearing masks was alarming. Crew members would walk by unmasked people and say nothing. Protocol is supposed to be strict right now and it was very disappointing to experience a flight this way. It calls into question everything else that the crew manages…I felt unsafe.

We were put up in a hotel by BA and arrived st Heathrow to find our replacement BA flight was delayed because of fuel issues. Still sitting and waiting."
Pro: "This was my first time on an Airbus A380 and I must say that I'm still in awe of how an aircraft this large can be so quiet and smooth, let alone get in the air. Boarding was smooth. Entertainment was great and the food (depending on what you got) was okay. The inflight crew was nice and helpful."
Contra: "Economy seats are very uncomfortable. I am 6'4 and there isn't that much space. It's even worse when you have a kid sitting in front with his seat reclined all the way back - so the little room I had to start with became even worse. Not to mention he kept rocking his chair back in forth, passed gas about 5 times, felt the need to stretch his arm behind him 3 times so his hand was blocking my screen. I really never got comfortable in my seat during the 11 hour flight. For a plane this large, i would of expected a little bit more comfort, especially when I felt it on AA 777"
Pro: "The staff were all very friendly, and even though we did not get seats together at check in, the gate agent managed to find us seats together which made the trip more enjoyable."
Contra: "I was disappointed to find that there were absolutely no entertainment or connectivity options on board a 2 1/2 hour flight. It's pretty much standard across carriers now to have at least internet access and a portable device entertainment option. I also did not enjoy paying for even the most basic beverages on the flight. Coffee, tea, and soft drinks should be included. You'll save a pound, but lose a customer."

We experienced turbulence during the flight and there was no communication from the pilot found that a bit odd. Just to set everyone's mind at ease I expected something to be said from the cockpit."

Contra: "We rebooked our flight to another flight firvthe following day and that one got canceled too. They have not returned our luggage yet. They said within a week we'll get our luggage. The worst company on the planet. Do not fly them. Our vacation has turned into a nightmare. We had to repurchase tickets with a different company so we can get to our final destination. We don't know if we'll get reimbursed for any portion of this."

The plane was grubby looking which may have e been due to its age! Windows were sold they were beay opaque & difficult to see thriugh. Impossible to rate food & entertainment as very short flight & none available

Contra: "Always late, overall service is appalling. Only reason they are around is due to protective policies of the Canadian government"
Pro: "Pretty good flight for 11 hours. Tight spaces but the entertainment and crew were good. The cookies y'all serve with the cranberries in them are the bomb."
Contra: "The breakfast meal smells funny and not as appetizing. It's a little weird they give you Noodles in a cup ramen for a snack - all that salt."
Contra: "Delayed for almost 2hrs"
Contra: "The way I was treated upon my landing in Toronto. When I missed my flight I had to stay at the airport from 10:30pm until 9:30am and there was nothing offered. No place to sleep or any compensation for food. I spoke with others that had food vouchers and others got toiletries. I'm not impressed."
Pro: "I hated both my trips with Air Canada. I payed extra for a better seat and the one I got was dirty. The tv was NOT working. On top of the 5 hours delay, I hated all the experience. The attendants messages is never clear and focus. It's like Air Canada is employing teenagers with NO work etics or professionalism. I am a frequent flyer and will NEVER flew with Air Canada again. The cheap ticket is not worth the cheap aircraft and cheap service I received."
Pro: "When I spoke to one of the stewardesses about how this was the second time in a week that Air Canada failed to prepare a vegetarian meal for me, she listened to me and somehow pulled something together. All other employees were courteous, as well."
Contra: "On both my departure and return flight, Air Canada insisted I did not tell them ahead of time that I was a vegetarian. I am sure I did it for the departure, and I am absolutely certain I did it on the return. I contacted them because I didn't want to go hungry on another 10+ hour flight. I think, what happened was, another vegetarian who didn't order ahead requested a vegetarian meal and got mine. I was told I had to verify 48 hours before my flight. Why? Could I have become non-vegetarian in that amount of time? You should have to say it only once. I have never had this problem on any other airline, and it happened the only two times I've flown Air Canada. The light positions are terrible; my neighbors' light shown directly into my face the entire flight."
Contra: "I could not travel due to the fact that Im pregnant and it is of really high risk and the airline did not help me. I lost my money and could not even get a credit to travel later."
Pro: "Three meal provided. Polite crew. Good customer service. More limited weight for the carry on. Generous for the excess size or weigh the baggage."
Contra: "Not enough Asian movie since this fight is to Hong Kong. Seat and space is not big enough."
Pro: "Air Canada is definitely good quality for the price! The crew is great and the overall comfort of their flights is great."
Contra: "The long-haul transcontinental flights haven't been upgraded with wifi just yet, so a 12 hour business flight without internet. Also, it was hard to know how to upgrade my seat on the return flight; I would have paid for it but couldn't figure out how to upgrade when checking in."

Contra: "Food was really bad. I mean we left France and that's the good capital of the world, but none of it made into the plane."

Pro: "I never got in my flight home for my aunts funeral and to get back to work because nothing on your website warned or notified me that I needed a visa just for a connecting flight on Air Canada so not only did I lose my money I was denied my flight denied the chance to be at my aunts funeral and get back to work. So my honest opinion is that I am extremely disappointed and deeply saddened by this evtire ordeal now I have to spend more money to purchase another ticket with another airline to go home. This is the Air Canada."

Contra: "getting from the gate to the plane in Rome was a nightmare! the bus that took us to the aircraft was stuffed full, hot, and slow. this may be an airport issue and not airline specific, but it reflected poorly on both."

Contra: "The worst part of thiis experience with Air Canada was the fact that there was no entertainment on board . They are supposedly switching to this system where you are supposed to download the Air Canada entertainment app on your phone or your tablet to be able to watch anything . Even though I supposedly had free Wi-Fi in The Athens airport, I was unable to download the app so I spent 11 hours with nothing to do on my way to Montreal. I wonder what they expect elderly or very young flyers to do . Most of these don't have tablets or smart phones . They did have some tablets for rent for $10, but not enough for everyone. Would not recall mend this airline for a transatlantic flights without checking whether the airplane has onboard entertainment first ."

Pro: "The flight attendants were awesome. Specifically the black lady with short hair, I don't remember her name but she was fantastic and super down to earth."

Please understand, folks have flight connections and the number one thing then need from you, instead of water is information on whether their flight will be waiting for them!!!"

I was expecting new movies to be added on my return flight from Japan since the month has changed from June to July but I did not find new movies, so I just read on my iPad. It would have also been nice if there was an option for inflight WiFi access."

Totally unprofessional crew, lack of empathy and disrespectful responses. Flight got delayed for Mechanical issue for 3 hours got on the runway then back, then disembarked and just waiting with no one explaining anything and missed my connecting due to that.. the crew total lack of professionalism is totally unseen anywhere.
Contra: "The seats were so uncomfortable for such a long flight. And they was not enough space between rows. I felt like cattle. It was in humane. My legs were numb several times during flight. My chair would not recline properly. I’m exhausted. Won’t be booking aireuropa ever again."

Please give me an explanation of your policy in regard, and please advice people in regard of what I just mention otherwise I think your company tricks people without mentioning clearly that suitcases are not included to lower prices"

Contra: "My plane took off 45 minutes late and no one told the passengers (in English at least) why we were leaving so late (and I still don't know). After about 20 minutes of waiting for takeoff, I pressed the button to ask a flight attendant why we were leaving so late but no one would come up to me, so I had to flag a flight attendant down when she walked by and she only stayed long enough for me to ask her when we were leaving. I also wanted to buy a snack on the plane and the same flight attendant who had answered my question before snapped at me about using a credit card when I accidentally gave her my debit card. Normally, I'm not one to complain about these types of things and this situation definitely could have been much worse, but I think it's important that any delays are communicated to passengers."

Contra: "I was ticketed on AirFrance/Delta, but I guess they are a part of Skyteam and the plane was Air Europa Old decrepit aircraft, that had years of accumulated dirt between seats and such No personal TV screens Food was as bad as it gets for the snack, though the main meal was as they all are except more frugal. Headphones were available for 3 euros- never had that occur on an international flight. I will always ask if my ticket includes Air Europa as an operator and avoid them if that is the case"
Contra: "Not only did we board an hour late but we were basically held hostage for over 3 hours inside the airplane due to navigation difficulties. We were in the middle of the ramp and little information was given. Needless to say I missed my connecting flight. A total nightmare."

Contra: "A small child was allowed to be in business class and disturbed me during the flight. I thought small children are not allowed"

Contra: "The seating is very tight. I also didn't appreciate the ongoing videos on the main screens, many of which were distracting in a negative way. Boarding was also a bit chaotic. Rather than call us to the plane by rows, we were asked to form two lines, right at the moment of boarding, and the passengers all had to scramble together and jostle our way through."

So, the passenger didn't take any changes and asked me to book flight with another airline. Which I did, and found out that canceling is not a thing that you do either...."

Contra: "Late take off and almost missed connecting flight to US. The connecting flight was at the very farthest gate from where we entered the terminal. Saw many AE passengers from my flight with disabilities and children struggling to make it to their connecting flights in Madrid."
Pro: "I was a bit worried because I'd never flown with Air Europa. However, the fight price was very reasonable and staff was excellent! The plane was very modern with plenty of room to stretch my legs. They fed us and that was a major plus."
Contra: "My seat wouldn't recline and the armrest where you plug in the headphones wouldnt work. I had to watch the movie I chose with no sound until my boyfriend let me use his seat's screen."

Contra: "I had an isle seat assigned to me at check in, however I strongly feel discriminated against by your stewardess Sylvia , after she made me move so another young lady could have an isle of 3 seats all to herself. The made me food to another seat (50 something) when I know I didn't have that seat. I would never recommend this airline - I travel often and plenty and have never been so humiliated and made to feel less than. They way I was asked to move was as if I was a disturbance , as if I sat next to the pilot of the plane ....it wasn't even offered an apology or asked kindly. It's unacceptable."

Contra: "On this trip, I had to travel on four Air Europa planes; none of which were ever on time. Delays! Delays!! And more Delays!!! Be sure to apply for vegetarian options if you don't eat meat/pork 24 hours in advanced. You'll be left without even a snack to purchase and starving. -An exhausted and hungry passenger"
Pro: "Went to Barcalona for a wedding, Air Europa was the best price by far. We didn't get delayed once and our checked luggage made the transfer in Madrid."
