Clran and comfortable plane, nice crew and a complimentary breakfast was offered. Boarding and departure was late.

My experience with Turkish airlines has very disappointing. The crew members were not polite during the flight, I had kindly requested for a cup of water, three times! But I had not received a single cup, I will not be flying Turkish airlines again.

I got confused about flight time and day missed my flight and rescheduled it for another day they charged me again $260. Even I tried to call the airline 4 hours before nobody answered me . I don’t have time now to fight this case but I think it’s not fair…

Pro: "On board entertainment ststem has lots of options to choose from on all accounts. Food selection was good, served hot with large selection of drinks. Overall much better than US airlines that cross Atlantic."
Contra: "More comfortable seats for long haul flights is a must have. Comfort+ Offered a money’s worth alternative to business or first class. Boarding is done away from terminal building which required busess for transportation back and forth. Prefer skybridge instead."

Last but not least Turkish needs to update their policies on electronics, I was reading a kindle on Airplane mode, but was forced to turn it off. This is over the top and no longer required on many airlines. Time to modernize attitudes here."

Contra: "My first flight was changed. Only one email was send about that change. It got lost in some other emails so I didn't see it. But I did not receive any other update or reminder. So I had figure out how to change all of my flights from there to Kansas in the States. All with bad internet service and unhelpful costomer service. And having to deal with two unexpected long layovers. All that to say, sending periodic emails is important especially if the flight had been changed."

Contra: "Poor crew service--amazingly slow (my general THY service experience has been great, but in this leg crew did not respond to calls for almost 20-30 minutes). After meals, most people took their own empty trays to return them behind (because the crew had not picked up after 30+ minutes). The meals arrived cold as well. My entertainment set froze after 4 hours in a 13 hours trip, and was not attended to after repeated calls. One conscientious Turkish stewardess was very helpful in the 9th hour (literally), even if the entertainment did not come back on. To top these, I was sandwiched between a teenager on front and teenagers on right, who were loud and generally weird (obviously not the airlines fault). So, it ended up being a mediocre experience overall."

As customer service, shouldn’t they offer help without having the customer feel like they need to convince the check in attendant to give them alternate solutions?"

The boarding area was mixed with people trying to get to New Jersey at the next gate making it very crowded and confusing, people found themselves in the wrong line."

Contra: "My original itinerary was booked with Airfare.com with a 93 minute layover at ORD, subsequently abbreviated to 40 minutes. Despite my repeated requests, neither Airfare.com nor United nor Lufthansa were willing to adjust my consequent itinerary to correct that conspicuous deficiency. Instead, both United and Lufthansa representatives repeatedly assured me that the 40 minute connection would present no problem; and Airfare.com tried to extract a 33% premium on its original sale to make any such adjustment. As it turned out, my apprehensions were realized when boarding and tarmac delays at SFO consumed the entire layover, and a subsequent gate delay at ORD frustrated the commendable efforts of the flight crew to facilitate the de-boarding of passengers with close connections. Contrary to United and Lufthansa's explicit reassurances, the long run halfway down one concourse and all the way back up a second left me four minutes short of the gate closure. You guys need to get your act together. If either airline chooses to finance its operations by selling tickets to an "aggregator", such a business practice should not relieve the airline of its obligation to provide reliable service to its ultimate customer, the flyer. I am currently working to identify an appropriate regulatory agency to whom to report this cynical misrepresentation of services and the patently corrupt business model upon which it is based."

Contra: "The 24 layover in Chicago with no possible flight out. If I didn't make the rescheduled flight, I would have been at least 48 hours in the airport waiting on another flight. Because I was unfamiliar with the area and was not offered any accommodations, I didn't sleep the entire time I was in Chicago. I also had to stand in line for a very long time and by the time I was done rebooking my flight all the airport restaurants were closed. I understand there are flight cancellations, but it just would have been nice if the airport was a little more accommodating."

Contra: "When a couple of ladies boarded and were going to be seated in the exit isle. going by the color of their skin and the clothes they were wearing, the stewardess with long blonde hair, assumed they did not speak English, and rather rudely told them that they should not be in this row. To which they responded in prefect English. told her they were comfortable with the emergency seat and helping passengers. She kept pushing them and finally they switched with a couple other passengers. VERY RUDE!!!!"

Contra: "The vegetarian meal was the worst we have had on an airplane. The main course was just rice with some kind of red sauce and the rest of the meal was just poor quality vegetables and fruit. the breakfast served everyone was poor too."

Customs at CDG airport was sooooo slow that we nearly missed our connection with maybe 3 minutes to spare.

Contra: "The Premium Eco seats are a catastrophe. They don't recline: the seats only slide down slightly but the upper part of your body doesn't move much. This makes for a poor experience, especially on a night flight. Except if you need the extra width, Eco has better value."

Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."

Pro: "1. Entertainment - Decent movie selection. I wished the angle of the screen in economy could be adjustable as well. Turkish Air does it better. Once the seat ahead of me reclines I dont have too much hope of saving my eyes from the awkward angles."
Contra: "1. Boarding - Learn from maybe Turkish Air who allocate people zones based on where you are seated in the plane. People seated all the way in the back should be allowed to board first and fill the plane back to front. Makes it less likely for you stand around waiting for people as well people all the way in the back making contact with every possible human already seated in the aisles. 2. Comfort - Window seats are too hot, middle aisle seats are too cold 3. Thankfully they do have halal offering. Now if they will even let me choose that I am allergic to seafood. Glad for the chicken. Nothing to boast about."
Contra: "Flight was delayed, seated in the last row and non adjustable seating, so very little leg room. Dis-enbarkment was very slow."
Pro: "Fast and efficient boarding and friendly and efficient staff. Landed 15min ahead of schedule."
Contra: "I did not like that i was in the bulkhead and there was not sufficient overhead storage for us. The bin was only big enough for 1 backpack. 2 of the 3 of us in that row had to go 2 rows back to store our luggage. This is very inconvenient when deboarding because I have to wait for many others to pass before I get a chance to walk towards the back of the plane to get my luggage."
Pro: "I like traveling with AirFrance in general."
Contra: "Terminal too far to go to loggage, walking about more than two miles after a long trip is not very easy AirFrance should have a better terminal at Charles-de-Gaulle!!! Have some missing stuff in my luggage!!!!"
Contra: "Flight was delayed 3 times and when I was finally put on a flight that was leaving, they failed to check the connection in Paris (Left me 10 minutes to get from the aircraft to the other plane!) I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

The staff especially in Chicago where we began this awful experience couldn't care less about our situation. Then AIr France lost our luggage and provided no help in locating them. We had to rely on folks who had friends working in Zagreb Airport to locate them. Air France is incompetent, insensitive and unprofessional. If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."
Pro: "The flight crew was excellent. My husband and I flew economy and I saw the crew keep passengers well fed (several meals and snacks) and were attentive to everyone's needs and all done with a smile. I thought the hot towels for cleansing our hands before meals was a very nice touch!"

Contra: "It's an a380, stains everywhere, aisles between seats narrow even for business, caos at CDG, no clear queues, ground staff shout at passengers, food selection good but huge gap between describtion and reality, in JFK we waited for 30 minutes cause the docking spot was too narrow for the captain, sky priority? The economy got their bags before 1st and business."
Pro: "The boarding process was smooth and the crew friendly. Flight ran on time."
Contra: "Unloading the baggage took over 90 minutes, and there was no explanation for the delay and nobody from Air France in sight on the ground in Boston."

Total lack of communication about the delay. Missed our connecting flight due to the delay and had to beg for info about how to get a new flight."
Pro: "LOT does great with boarding, food, and entertainment. The food is very tasty and plentiful. The boarding process is smooth and the people are very nice. And the selection of movies and TV is very broad, and the equipment works well."
Contra: "The crew on the plane are short with passengers and don't seem to go out of their way to make passengers comfortable. This lack of effort stands out very much in the background of super-uncomfortable seats on Dreamliners. There is relatively much less space available for passengers between rows and between seats themselves. It makes long flights exceptionally painful, especially for people who are not extra small or young. I have gotten to the point that I choose to fly different airlines even if that means a bit more money and an extra stop because I cannot handle 8 or 9 hours on the Dreamliners, especially when the flights are full."

I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. The system is so disconnected or careless that it can't even figure out I couldn't take the flight which it is is asking me a review for."
Pro: "The biggest supprise for me was the 787 Dreamliner which is very comfortable. You do everything to provide an excellent experience. The crew was very nice and helpful, You are the best! I don't fly often but LOT is my favorite company to fly to Odessa. Thank you for great service!"

Contra: "The seat was very uncomfortable in comparison with other long haul flight seats, must be some ergonomic issue, I arrived more worn than usually when flying this route. The food was very low quality and wine or beer was only served for payment unlike on other airlines."
Contra: "I used LOT Airlines for the very first time to travel to Riga, Latvia. The problems started at the LOT check in counter at O'Hare International terminal. I packed my weeks worth of belongings into a 21" carry on bag expressly so I wouldn't have lost baggage issues. The customer service person forced me to check my bag because it was 3 kilograms overweight even though it was the correct size for carry on. As you can probably guess the bag was lost in the transfer in Warsaw, Poland. After filing a lost baggage claim at Riga, Latvia airport I never heard a word of support, communication, or even an apology from customer service at LOT airlines. I called them several times and their tracking system could not locate the bag during the entire week I was in Latvia. Now I am home in the states and have received an email from LOT Airlines stating that my bag is now at the airport in Riga, Latvia and to contact them for shipping and reimbursement for any costs. LOT is a TERRIBLE AIRLINE! Atay Away!"

Well the flight from Warsaw to Berlin, operated by LOT was horrible! No snacks no drinks, not even water on a 2hour flight! Shame on you! I had my wedding gown with me and I asked one of the crew members to put it in one of the closets design for this. And in a broken English she told me 'ya there is a problem' and she showed me the closet, it was full with the crew luggage :( We ended up laying the gown on one seat that was empty! When we arrived at our destination and picked up our luggage we noticed that they broke one of the wheels. Overall very ugly experience with LOT!!!"

Contra: "An hour late which made me have to run to the next gate which is not pleasant for a 70 year old with a bum knee."
Pro: "Someone was sick on the flight while baordjng and it took over an hour for clean up.. we were an hour and a half late. Snacks are ridiculous...really? All the airline can offer is a small bag of mixed pretzels? Think you should offer more choice or larger option for a 4 hour flight."
Contra: "I asked the service attendant when I checked my lagage to change my seat to an aile seat. Even though there weren't anybody awaiting in line she could not be bothered, she got rid of me and asked me to do that at the gatw. By the time the gate opened there weren't any ailel seats. The service people are trained to be rude and treat all passagers as slaves. I would not fly United if I will have a different opinion."
Pro: "We arrived safely at PDX"
Contra: "We left 3 hrs late, arrived very late at night, I did not get home until 2 a.m. There was no apology. There were no plugs for computers in the back of the plane and I got stuck between a fat person to my left and a fat person in front of me who leaned their seat back as far as possible. It was hideous."
Contra: "Plane was supposed to depart at 5:30 did not depart until around 7:20!!! Had to sit on plane for almost 2 hrs!! We were NOT OFFERED anything to drink Not even water!! Jet Blue would NEVER be neglectful, they are very service oriented. Plane was full & 2 babies on board one was fussy crying at times. It was s nightmare!! I was exhausted from traveling to NYC & Philly! & the delay & lack of service was AWFUL!! Could not watch TV, bc It either connects to phone, I could not connect it or I think you had to pay! Unheard of!!!I love to watch CNN, MSNBC & Fox it makes the time fly!! Hopefully will Never have to fly United Again"
Pro: "It was nice to get free wine on the flight. Had I know what I was about to endure I likely would have had more. Honestly. I am uncertain how you can stay in business."
Contra: "The temperature in the cabin was way too cold and the excuse of a blanket is really insulting to be warm enough to sleep. The video screen was tiny and grainy. Every time the PA system was used it buzzed so whatever was being said wasn't comprehend-able. The biggest complaint was the seating room. I understand that you want to get people into more legroom seats but honestly there should be a regulation for the inhumane way you treated those of us that did not ante up more! I thought I alone have these opinions but once you get me back home, you loose my business forever. I will take my Transatlantic flights every six weeks elsewhere."

Contra: "It took pass our departure time to get people onto the plane, the plane was super delayed 8:25 turned into a little over 10, and I was super uncomfortable the whole flight. Spent the majority of my day in the airport just waiting on this flight."
Contra: "United sent out a series of delayed flight communications times that all contradicted each other. Flight updates did not give me adequate time to arrange my plans to accommodate their sporadic updates for fliget 4132, resulting in me missing my flight after paying a $95 dollar cab fare. May 1, 2017 United failed in my eyes of a loyal customer."
Contra: "Flight was delayed two hours because they were waiting on an aircraft, which happens but no one to the time to explain or apologize even when asked. An apology goes a long way when you are stuck in an airport with every restaurant closing and you're hungry and tired. Definitely only flying delta or southwest from now on."

One of our party had a seat (aisle) that he could not move in once seated. Free entertainment was very stingy! Other airlines offer much more free entertainment in the way of TV."

Contra: "the plane started while there apparently was a hydraulic problem which made them decide to turn around right before the Atlantic and fly back all the way to New York in a plane that shouldn't have taken off in the first place. Flight eventually got cancelled."
Pro: "More luggage storage (overhead and under the seats) on this international flight than on domestic. Most everything else was as expected."
Contra: "The toilets smelled and were messy a few hours into it. (I was on a Korean Airlines flight recently and their toilets were always clean and nice!). The crew were mostly efficient and worked well together BUT only one (out of the 4 or 5 in our section) smiled at passengers and looked like she was actually enjoying her job. One blanket wasn't cleaned well enough."
Pro: "The crew was fantastic ! My daughter was anxious during some unexpected turbulence and she was very supportive . Movies and entertainment were good . Food , acceptable."
Contra: "The space allotted per person is ridiculous. And I upgraded to extra leg room ... What extra legroom ??"
Pro: "PROS: easy boarding, flights on-time or early, helpful staff, let us pre-board to wipe seats for our nut-allergic child, ERW airport less hectic than JFK and similar driving times to Manhattan."

Contra: "I was early to my flight and sent to the wrong gate. When I received the notice that the gate had been changed, I had a long way to go to get to the correct gate and limited time. Since I have arthritis I was very inconvenienced making the gate."
Pro: "Everything thing from checking in to landing was great. Had to change flight due to bad weather conditions and Lynn was extremely helpful."
Contra: "The carry-on luggage has gotten out of control. More and more people and bringing carrying to avoid the baggage fee.. just incrude in price of ticket.. it slows down the process at TSA, boarding amd getting off the plane.."
