Qantas and Emirates flights were awesome, the timing of dimming lights to encourage sleep was great and the food service and timings were perfect. bathrooms were clean and enough legroom in economy

Boarding process was most organized and efficient than any other airline I’ve flown. Service on board is ALWAYS top notch. I go out of my way to fly Emirates.

I paid money to get in the lounge because our flight was late and the kids were tired (I was traveling with two kids), but unfortunately I paid a lot of money to get in the lounge but couldn't find them proper resting areas."

At one point she vomited and there was an attendant near us and granted that it was time for take off and no one can be standing up but after that she didn't even offered anything to clean up or ask us if everything is alright and she even had the look of disgust on her face while she was sitting down. All throughout the duration of the flight no one go for the extra mile to assist me as I was alone with a toddler. I have to ask for the bassinet 3x and it took them a long time. No one gave us the toddler meal which I ordered previously. I thought emirates was a better airline than qatar airways but I was gravely mistaken. Even China southern can do better than that. Horrible."

Contra: "Piece of checked baggage was lost en-route. It took 2 hours to get through customs in the middle of the night because after we had already filled out all information regarding piece of luggage with one baggage counter employee. Japanese Customs refused to let us through due to "unaccompanied baggage" since the piece was lost by the airline and had us go back to another baggage employee who couldn't grasp that we already went through the process and had no clue what to do."

Contra: "This whole flight experience was a nightmare. I understand that there were very serious unforseen circumstances that day, with the Emirates flight from Trivandrum crash landing at the airport. As such the 4 hour delay that was announced was not a problem. The problem came after the airport resumed operations. We were told repeatedly that we would board any moment from 5:30pm onwards. As such, we did not go very far from the gate. We were even invited to go into the gate area no less than 3 times, before we were forced to leave. No one provided information. All we knew was that we were waiting for the crew to arrive. It took another SIX hours (in addition to the 4 hour delay) before we actually boarded. If we had even slightly better information, we could have at least found a comfortable chair a ways away from the gate and gotten a few hours of sleep. But it felt as if the ground staff constantly toyed with us, making us stay within a close radius of the gate but not providing any accurate or reliable information. I have come to expect the best from Emirates. But their actions were pitiful on this day."

The boarding process was a mess without clear directions from the staff, it was a giant mob trying to force its way onto a plane."
Contra: "I cannot begin to describe the plethora of issues I had with TK following the military coup. Aside from not answering emails or phones for days, even after getting in touch with someone the instructions I received were apparently only to waste my time because in the following correspondence it became clear they never intended on issuing a refund. I am a Military service member and was not authorized to take the flight I had booked, so after explaining the circumstances and submitting the requested memo...no refund! I will advise all my people to steer clear from Turkish Airlines."

So we checked to see if anything was missing and a souvenir from Mexico was gone. Then we realized a zipper was missing from the luggage and then decided to check all the other compartments and realized her bag of jewelry was gone. The woman at baggage services in Albany told us Delta is not responsible for lost belongings. Also tried to tell us theft is not an issue because there are cameras everywhere. Well you are telling someone that is missing a bag of jewelry that theft is not a problem. Also, there may be cameras everywhere but I doubt anyone is going to review those cameras to see what happened. I will never fly Delta again."

Pro: "The efficiency of having my boarding pass on my phone (Apple Wallet). The Kayak and Delta apps streamlined perfectly and I was able to check in and pay for luggage through Kayak! I just need to do better at checking my phone due to both apps sending me updates about flight delays and luggage locations"
Contra: "Lack of space from being confined to the middle seat but the passengers next to me were nice and the plane ride was over before I realized it."

Contra: "I travel this route (ATL - MGM) often and it seems like half the time I use Delta there is an issue with the plane including times when the flight has been cancelled. This time the plane left the gate and some fifteen minutes after sitting on the tarmac was taken back to the gate. The issue was said to be an element that keeps a sensor from freezing in extreme cold weather. The less than one hour flight took two hours to complete. This should have been dealt with as a maintenance issue but Delta doesn't seem to think so. The planes on this route make Delta a LOT of money as it is one of the most profitable routes in the US. You would think Delta could invest in keeping better maintained planes on the route."
Contra: "we began the boarding process late, which can be understandable, although the plane was there pretty early. Once the boarding began, someone, I presume the gate agent, essentially gave a countdown to hhow many minutes were left until the flight could have an "on time departure". I travel nearly every week so I value being on time. However, a minute by minute call to hurry up on a flight that was sold out was over the top. There was mumbling among the passengers, to the point of someone joking "Free cookies and water if we make it on time?" Just a bad gate experience, but bad enough that peopoe were commenting, and I waited for someone from the cockpit to del\part so I could mention it to them."

Contra: "The air-conditioning was extremely cold; on the positive side, I was given a blanket. The plane did not have any kind of tv screen in which to watch films or programs. Space was unbelievably tight between seats and rows; I cannot imagine a horizontally or vertically big person having any level of comfort. In general, the service was quite poor, making me wonder how does Delta treat the flight attendants, for they seemed tired and careless. The above did not happen in any of my other flights: Atlanta-Guadalajara, Guadalajara-CDMX, CDMX-Atlanta."
Contra: "Wouldn’t let us take our carry-on because they had overbooked and had no more room in overhead. Delayed our first flight and then our connecting flight left *early*. (If you know you have customers with short connections, why leave early to make their connections even shorter?) Then told us they would not pay for our hotel since it wasn’t their fault. Gave us a “discount” with a nearby hotel that was more expensive than what you could book it for online. Had to wait several hours for them to get us back the carry-on luggage that they insisted we check in the first place."
Pro: "I like that I was able to request a window seat and was obliged to get another one."
Contra: "My flight was cancelled and I had anxiety about being at my destinations on time because I had to travel another hour away without knowing if my ride would be able to wait for me. However, I was booked on another plane that wasn't damaged which got me there on time,but once I arrived my luggage was no where to be found. I was promised my luggage on the same day,but I didn't get it until 11:30pm that night from a 2:40pm flight. I had to go out and spend money on toiletries,night wear and my medicine because of not having my luggage. Just totally disgusted by the overall experience and wouldn't wish it on anyone."

Contra: "I could see on the Fly Delta app that I had been placed in seat 10B, but neither the app nor my boarding pass gave me a group to board with, so I assumed that I needed to board with group 3, which necessitated gate-checking my rollerboard bag. Only when I approached the gate to board did I notice on the info screen that I had been "upgraded" to Comfort + and granted boarding with the Sky Priority group. I wish this had been clearer so I could have avoided waiting to board and gate-checking my bag. Minor inconvenience but room for improvement on Delta's part."
Pro: "The crew went out of their way to make sure they got the plane ready as quickly as possible and get us to Jacksonville as quickly as possible."
Contra: "Delta lost the plane for over an hour. After already spending 10 hours in ATL because of an earlier delay due to human error I was extremely disappointed in Delta that my flight out of Atlanta was delayed by an hour because they LOST the plane and couldn’t find it or the truck to bring it to the gate. This kind of error on Xmas eve is embarrassing. Delta didn’t do anything for the passengers affected by this. I was dumbstruck by the apathy of the Delta employees at the gate (the exception was the flight crew, who tried to get the aircraft there earlier). Because Delta did nothing but make error after error I arrived at home 11 hours later than my original flight was booked for on Christmas Eve, missing Christmas Eve Services and family traditions. When I need to get somewhere on time I’ll never rely on Delta after this experience."

Contra: "I has nothing to do with the flight it self! The original fight was cancelled from Minneapolis to Atlanta (with no notice) I found this out by calling!! I was told a confirmation of a new flight was going to be email once the request from the support had been approved (the email confirmation was never received). I was also instructed multiple times to not show at the airport unless I had receive the confirmation. I was up most of the night waiting for this confirmation that never came!! I received an email this morning letting me know the fight from ALT to Mexico had been delay!! When I opened it to view the itinerary it showed she had been booked for the am fight at 6:30 am! after spending another hour and 35 minutes on the phone your support team could not find a fight until Dec.21!! Not to mention the accepted they had problems with their email system and phones, but asked why didn't I called,mmm I was on the phone for the 3rd time!!!! I am very, very disappointed!! Not a discount was offer or a fight the next day even when I was checking an flights were available!!! Here is the other part,,Rosa came all the way from Mexico to care for her ill sister for the last 2 1/2 months, all she asked was to be able to be back home for the holidays!! Your team insisted on scheduling a flight for next week or a full refund!! This was not a money matter!! It's about getting some one home for the Holidays who has helped a ill person during the most vulnerable time in her life!!"
Pro: "Staff were friendly and worked hard."
Contra: "Seats were very basic and not as good as the low cost carrier I normally fly out of the UK. Very old and noisy aircraft. Seemed little control over how much hand luggage passengers were bringing onto the aircraft."

Contra: "Duty free purchases not waiting for us at boarding like usual. Audio selection on entertainment was v poor"
Pro: "The Delta people were solicitous, efficient and brilliant the whole way through. We had not a bit of trouble. Our first class seats were comfortable, but with the supplied blanket, pillow and poor air conditioning it was a hot flight. The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Contra: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."
Contra: "When I got to the airport they were not helping me to get to the right place to get my flight I lost it"
Pro: "The crew was beyond friendly and courteous. Lots of leg room."
Contra: "I was an older plane, it was louder than our flight down to Atlanta. Nothing they could do about it, but a slight annoyance."
Pro: "Two Delta agents a kiosk assistance were not aware of the Hurricane Irma policy of waiving baggage fees to my destination. I informed them that the website indicated it would waive baggage fees to certain destinations if checked in at the airport before a certain date. Another Delta agent nearby had to show them a copy of the policy before I could get my baggage fees waived."
Pro: "Comfortable flight, ample leg room, and the chairs were pretty plush. Comfort+ is pretty nice"
Contra: "On my first flight they forgot to turn the wifi on. I have unlim data but obviously can't use while in air; no big though."
Pro: "I'm 6'6" and used to having my knees jammed hard against the seat in front of me (right into the metal frame). The knee room on this flight was better, they weren't even touching the seat!"
Pro: "The flight was very comfortable and quick. I like the coffee when I pair it with a biscoff."
Contra: "The boarding process seems a bit chaotic, but it didn't really detract from the overall experience."
Contra: "Plane was supposed to depart at 9:09pm. An announcement was made that in Atlanta which is Delta hub, there were no flight attendants for the flight so we had to wait for another crew to fly in. That's just unporfessiknal. To make matters worse, the gate agents didn't make announcements even if just to say we know this isn't good and we will update you asap even if just to tell you we are still waiting on word. Total silence and seeing the gate agents laugh and talk amongst each other was pretty bad."
Pro: "They arrived on schedule."
Contra: "Seated in the rear middle seat. I had no options to select a seat when I checked in or made my reservation that wasn't an extra charge. I'mover 6' tall and middle seats are painful, especially cross country. Airlines need to be a little more attentive to their customers' needs. If a passenger is taller than average, and the flight is more than 60 minutes, provide comfortable seating at no extra charge. If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections."

Contra: "9 hour flight and no food(meal) until 1 hour before we land. The worst food I've had on a international flight."
Contra: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."
Contra: "Sat in Delta Comfort and a loyal Delta flier, except had the bad fortune of taking off at 830 ATL time and apparently Delta doesn't find it important or a good idea to sell food after that time. The logic behind this is beyond me. I'm willing to pay $9 for a few cheese slice and crackers or a sandwich yet they don't offer anything, not even to first class which would really irritate me had I paid 1000 bucks. Ontop of that the crew which is normally excellent, was feisty and rude and wanted nothing to do with their job"

Contra: "This was the fourth first class leg of our overall trip and the first three flights on Delta were great. The attendants were pleasant and even fun. I have allergies and requested a special meal on all legs. No problem on the first three flights. All attendants approached me to confirm my allergy and the special meal. They were very polite. But on this flight, the attendant didn't speak with me about it at all. She tried to give me the regular meal. When I explained I needed an allergy free meal (mind you this was first class), I was told I could not get it and got no apology or other accommodation. Her attitude was take it or leave it. I found this interesting since on two of the other flights an announcement was made about another passenger with an allergy to peanuts so no one could have them on the flights and the attendants were very concerned."

Contra: "I did not like the way the plane was boarded- people could not get into their seats because others blocked the aisles - so chaotic. Passengers were not being rude to one another, it was simply that the process is poor. Could the zones instead reflect both location of seat and area of plane, so that those with window seats at the back board first, then middle seats, then aisle? That way if aisle seats fill first, seated people are not stepping back into the aisle to accommodate others needing to get a seat in that row, while everyone on the gang way must wait for the aisle to clear."

From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

As I was waiting for the dinner to be served it took more time and I felt asleep watching a bad movie, so I missed dinner when I finally woke up. This is the reason I have no opinion about the food. My sole complaint is about the general practice in all airlines that they serve first the slim minority that does not eat meat. Democracy means that the majority should be served first. Unless the airlines consider the vegetarians as some kind of sick people! 2. The crew didn't offered us enough liquids during the flight and the excuse that they didn't wish to disturb our sleep is too lame."

There was already a group forming a line at zone 4 for a good 15mins and another group created another line just 5mins before boarding and the 1st group had to re-queue. A few of us voiced out to the floor crew but they did nothing. Earphones. Could be supplied first since the flight is suffisent for a movie.
24 hour delay due to a crew member arriving 1.5 h late. People clapped for this? Obscene. Will never fly delta again. A simple error could have been resolved by holding connecting flights for 15 minutes. But no, not enough passengers to cross the 8-10 person threshold. Lost $800 due to this malfeasance. Never flying delta again.
Thumbs up for KLM crew, planes and Schiphol Airport, though short on staff and a little late everything went smooth, including the flight.
