Personalul foarte amabil si prietenos însă foarte frig in cabine in special pentru un zbor de noapte. Venind dintr-o tara unde minima este de 24 de grade sa stai timp de 5 ore la o temperatura de maxim 16-17 grade si in curent nu a fost prea plăcut.

Contra: "Onboarding was ridiculous. They merged two gates together with no instructions to the large crowd of people boarding the plane. We were scheduled to start boarding at a certain time and we didn’t actually board until 45 minutes later. When we asked the attendants when we would begin boarding and did they have any instructions they were extremely rude, laughing with one another and taking selfies. When we we asked for the third time they brushed us off with a time frame. It was extremely disappointing."
Contra: "Snack options were a bit limited for such a long flight"

Pro: "The flight attendants waited for me at the gate since customs was backed up. They saw me running and told me it was ok. On the flight, snacks and drinks were bright by every hour or so and the meals were plenty of food and tasted good. I was given a bag with eye cover, earplugs, socks, face wipes and ear phones. Entertainment was good as well. Qatar is an amazing airline. Wish we had something like this in the States!"
Pro: "Clean airplane"
Contra: "On a 16 hour journey, we only had 2 meals and no snacks. I usually fly Lufthansa. They provide 2 meals and a third snack (usually a pizza) and keep additional snacks and drinks fully stocked in the back of the plane. None of that existed on this flight. The crew was very uninterested. Seemed very absent and not into assisting patrons. Overall, not what I have experienced on prior Qatar Airways flights. To add insult to injury, I was sitting next to an EXTREMELY smelly person, which didn't make the experience any easier :( Not the airlines responsibility to ensure patrons exercise proper hygiene, but that didn't help the situation with my hungry growling stomach."
Pro: "Flight Attendants were really helpful especially when one of my child had a nose bleed, we had at least 3 attendants, tending to our needs when that happened and they did not leave until the situation was resolved."

Contra: "Transiting. Made to stay in the airport for over 8hours after a 9hr 35mins flight. I was not happy about it. I hope that, on the return journey, when transiting time would be over 10hours, i would be lodged in a hotel. Thank you."

They mentioned that ill be refunded my $750 from qatar as they got a waiver for me. I received $250 from qatar airways and nothing yet. Airfare's customer service staff is highly uncooperative and v rude"

Contra: "Kayak/priceline re-booked my flight for my sister and I from SAA to BA, but failed to completely reissue us tickets. When we checked in for the flight, we had no ticket for the first leg of the flight, but we had tickets for the remaining flights. We immediately called to fix this problem, but due to slow customer service, we weren't issued tickets in time and the flight left without us. We missed all remaining connecting flights and were forced to buy New tickets. Now we have to work with kayak/priceline to get all my money back due to their error. We came back a day later than expected and missed going back to work."
Pro: "The crew was amazing, the entertainment system needs more content, the food could use more variety. I would definitely travel with them again."

Pro: "The flight itself was very enjoyable. The only negative aspect was that the first leg of the flight was delayed long enough that I almost missed my connecting flight and my baggage was lost."
Contra: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."
Pro: "The flight was delayed from Newark to Zurich but they were able to rearrange my connecting flight before landing. The Swiss staff were very courteous and amicable. The food was also tasty."

I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline."

Pro: "The seats on Swiss' A330-300 are so comfortable in economy. Easy to find a good position to sleep in. Embrear from Zurich to Oslo is tighter, but food and service like in the old days! Bravo!"
Pro: "The flight attendant told me I had to keep my seat upright throughout dinner so the person behind me could eat. I wanted to sleep and couldn't do so without reclining. The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? Just a very blasé crew."

I was then rerouted through Istanbul with the promise that I would be well compensated for my troubles. I was told that I would receive a certain amount for every hour I was delayed from my original arrival at end destination. Well I arrived 8 or more hours after I had originally expected (and the reason I booked with Swiss Air was because of the timing and the apparent luxury of the flight). Once I got back home and tried to pursue this amazing compensation I received some of the worst customer service ever and received 0 compensation for the experience. Very disappointed and will never fly swiss airlines again."

Contra: "I have been flying to Asia on Asian airlines and maybe I have become accustomed to flights and crews that know how to manage a long flight. For example: The crew seemed tentative and untrained. Saw the crew once between the meal at beginning and the meal at the end. I wonder where they can hide for so long on a small plane? Too many announcements by the Captain -- shut up and fly the damn plane! Do you think the crew might replenish the toilet paper on an 8 hour flight? on another note: Seat spacing is adjustable - very close seats Overall--- underwhelmed"

They had passengers distanced from each other the whole time, handed out sanitizing wipes as we walked on the plane, made sure folks kept their masks on, gave us individual little baggies with snacks and water bottles that also had individual hand sanitizer packets. I felt so much more safe flying Delta on my way home to Hawaii in July than I did when I flew American Airlines on my way to the mainland in June."

Contra: "LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Got back to SD 4 hours after scheduled time."

My husband got through his line 15min before I was finished in the other line. One line required iPads to be other, the other didn't. Something was seriously wrong with how things were being handled. Bathrooms onboard were a pigstie."
Contra: "Got stuck for two hours sitting in the plane because the computer systems went down."
Pro: "The staff are fun and friendly. One of the hostesses stepped into the vacant seat where I was sitting and stepped back further when people where pushing by. We were almost cheek to cheek. The closest I've come to a cute bum in years."

We were also packed in like sardines. I would pay more for more room, though business and first class are available, they're way too much."

Contra: "While my experience with Virgin Australia was good, I will not book with them due to the co-share with Delta Airlines. I missed my connecting flight from LAX to JFK due to additional security screening. As such I was advised to head to the Delta terminal to be booked onto the next available flight to NYC. After waiting over an hour in line to be seen by a staff member, I was told that they couldn't change my ticket as it was a Virgin flight. The same staff member didn't seem to even understand the concept of 'co-share', and also told me that because I booked through Kayak and not Delta that they could not help me. This makes me think that booking through a third party is a risky move. I was told there was absolutely nothing she could do, and that I would have go to a Virgin Australia Counter. This involved taking all of my luggage from Terminal 5 - all the way to Terminal 3. I was assisted by Virgin Australia, where they apologized for my experience, and confirmed that it was Delta's responsibility (and that they were capable) of rebooking my flight. Virgin booked me onto a later flight, but I still had to walk back to Terminal 5 (Delta) to give them my checked luggage. I was once again told that I didn't have the right ticket (details listed Virgin and Delta flight number - so this was way too confusing for them). Finally they printed my a boarding card and took my bags. I then ran through security and to gate in time for my flight. Flight was fully booked, due to a many people no doubt experiencing the same thing. Food was awful. Was a big step down from the Virgin flight in every aspect. There was not a single Delta Staff member who would even try to understand or be helpful. I will never fly with Delta again."
Pro: "This was a code share flight on a delta ticket but a virgin airline, the entertainment was great with the seat back selection, the seat comfy and the staff friendly."
Contra: "Firstly check in was a nightmare, travelling on a Virgin Australia Flight from LAX - BNE and a connecting flight BNE - PPP (Proserpine) all with Virgin Australia, and they claim they don't have the ability to tag your luggage the whole way through??? (I understand I have to collect it on arrival into another country and then take to a bag drop) but with the same airline they claim they can't do this? I travel a lot and with many other flights internationally and I can tag my bags with different airlines all the way through, but NOT WITH VIRGIN WITH THE SAME AIRLINE ALL THE WAY THROUGH? They can't do it? Then 2 hour delay on the tarmac after taxiing out from the gate at LAX, which got us in late to Brisbane. The food on this leg LAX-BNE for the vegetarian option was terrible, which was strange as on the fist flight over from BNE-LAX it was the best vegetarian food on any flight I've ever had. Strangely 6 months out from our flight I tried calling Delta to upgrade our tickets and was told they had no way of doing it as the Delta computer system isn't linked Virgin system. Then calling Virgin to upgrade I was told I can't as it is a Delta ticker. We tried again a week out from the flight and got the same response and told to try at check-in. We tried then at check in and told they have no idea how to do this as only so many seats are allocated to Delta tickets and they can't access the Delta system?? So very frustrating and we could never upgrade?"
I liked that flight attendants always make sure people have masks on and properly covering their mouths and noses. I dislike that when the plane lands people are not maintaining social distancing in the aisle. Attendants should make a way to ask people out of their seats systematically.
We had 1h delay. We waited in the place for the whole time.

Contra: "The crew at check-in & at boarding checked me in to fly to Tel-Aviv (transiting at Istanbul) without any comment on visa or passport at Washington D.C. In Istanbul, I was not allowed to board on the flight to Tel-Aviv. I was not allowed to stay in Istanbul. Crew (Erin Uler) who stopped me from boarding the flight said he would help, but disappeared. Othes kept sending me back and forth between transfer desk and sales desk with inconsistent advice every time. I had no way out, so decided I will fly to the closest European country. This was after I had been back and forth for 7 hours. I had to pay full for flight to Greece. I asked to be sent back to D.C. they could not even work that out. I have a return ticket to fly back to Washington D.C. with Turkish Airline on 1 Jan and they said they will need to re-ticket my paid return flight as well. Turkish airline crew did not would not help me fix my return flight back to D.C. They have asked me to contact the agent ( Kayak). Now I am stuck in Athens, a country I have never visited nor planned to. My tours & accommodation, all paid for in Israel, I have lost. I had a tour fully paid in Israel. I have no ticket to return back to D.C. even though I paid for ticket with cancellation insurance when I bought the ticket. The advice between Turkish crew who checked my passport (official) while I was flying out of D.C. vs the Turkish crew who stopped me from boarding was inconsistent. If I had been stopped in D.C. I wouldn't have had to face the events that followed. Now I have lost my tours, hotel in Israel. I had to pay extra for flight to Athens and I am paying for hotel and sundry in Athens while waiting for flight out. Turkish crew at Istanbul were not only unhelpful but rude and inconsistent. While I was waiting for 8 hours for a firm information, shouting matches between Turkish crew and customers went on at least a dozen times. Inconsistent information from Turkish staff has led me to be currently stuck in Athens. I am waiting for a way back to D.C. There should be a rule that fines an airline if they board people without accurate visa papers and they fail to check it. There should also be a fine to the airline if they stop people from boarding at a transit airport leaving passanger stranded with nowhere to go or return. I ask this issue to be looked at, as I am currently stuck in Athens. I need a ticket to go back to D.C."

Contra: "Your incompetent agents messed up my reservation multiple times. They called my home and emailed asking for a payment, even though my client bought the ticket for me. Then, when I was checking in I realized my name was wrong even though my client has a document that proves she typed the right name. Finally, and AGAIN KAYAK, I arrive at the airport and Turkish Air says the ticket is booked but not ticked. So I had to jump on a 30min wait over the phone trying to solve issue after issue. Never doing business again with Kayak."
Pro: "Boarding was on time and We arrived on time."
Contra: "Plane was smaller than normally flown. No room at all. 2-4-2 seat rows."

Contra: "The guy that checked me in was very rude and wasn’t smiling at all and then he showed my passport picture to his colleague and they both started laughing. I was trying to use the restroom on the plane but there was a person in there for a long time; I waited outside patiently and then when I got in I brushed my teeth and used the toilet. It didn’t take me that long but the flight attendant knocked hard on the door but she didn’t do that for me with the other guy. I didn’t feel welcomed at all from the crew honestly."

Contra: "Late into the flight there appeared to be a medical emergency taking place just a few rows ahead of me. No announcement was made; it was as though we were expected to ignore the situation. But with the lights in the cabin turned on, a small crowd gathered, and the passenger being vocal in his distress .. . a brief announcement would have been nice: Situation under control, no need to worry, flight will continue as scheduled. The passenger had a relapse a few hours later - again no acknowledgement from the crew to reassure those of us who could hear his cries of distress."

Flight arrived late, but no info. on connecting flights provided. At least eight passengers ran through the Istanbul airport to catch the connecting flight to Rome and, despite the fact that the plane was still at the gate, the gate staff person would not allow any of us on the flight. Customer service staff were unhelpful and had a negative attitude. The transfer were helpful."

Contra: "I booked my flight with Turkish Airlines for June 28th at 11:05 pm. A few hours before my flight, there were bombings in the airport in Istanbul, which was where I was flying into. I tried for hours to contact Turkish Airlines and their phone was disconnected. I could not reach anyone to try to re-schedule a new flight or to ask if the flight was going to be re-directed. I received no information and ended up having to book a new flight for the next day. After my flight had already left Turkish Airlines posted on their website an alert. I am shocked that it took so long to post any information and I am very upset that I was unable to reach customer service. I will NOT be choosing this airline to fly on again."

Contra: "I had a big problem with the Baggage allowances on this particular flight. I was only allowed 20kg on a long (8hr) international flight, one which I was moving around the world for. If the policy was more like 40kg, there would have been no problems whatsoever and my trip would have been the best I have experienced in a long time. I suggest they improve their regulations quickly to widen their customer base."
Final leg of our long journey was from ORD to AUS and it was good

Contra: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

I felt like I had to coerce her for help or advice on what I should do with my situation and she didn’t really give me any beneficial help until right before my gate closed and my plane departed. As customer service, shouldn’t they offer help without having the customer feel like they need to convince the check in attendant to give them alternate solutions?"

If I pay $100 for a particular seat, I should get that seat!"

Contra: "Squished in the middle of a row. Unable to get up and get things out of my bag. Video screen not working. I had been looking forward to catching up on some movies ( rarely have time for to or movies usually) was disappointed to have no working screen on such a long flight. Did appreciate the effort to supply a gluten free meal, unfortunately someone added whole wheat crackers ( luckily still in wrapper ). The boarding area was mixed with people trying to get to New Jersey at the next gate making it very crowded and confusing, people found themselves in the wrong line."

Contra: "My original itinerary was booked with Airfare.com with a 93 minute layover at ORD, subsequently abbreviated to 40 minutes. Despite my repeated requests, neither Airfare.com nor United nor Lufthansa were willing to adjust my consequent itinerary to correct that conspicuous deficiency. Instead, both United and Lufthansa representatives repeatedly assured me that the 40 minute connection would present no problem; and Airfare.com tried to extract a 33% premium on its original sale to make any such adjustment. As it turned out, my apprehensions were realized when boarding and tarmac delays at SFO consumed the entire layover, and a subsequent gate delay at ORD frustrated the commendable efforts of the flight crew to facilitate the de-boarding of passengers with close connections. Contrary to United and Lufthansa's explicit reassurances, the long run halfway down one concourse and all the way back up a second left me four minutes short of the gate closure. You guys need to get your act together. If either airline chooses to finance its operations by selling tickets to an "aggregator", such a business practice should not relieve the airline of its obligation to provide reliable service to its ultimate customer, the flyer. I am currently working to identify an appropriate regulatory agency to whom to report this cynical misrepresentation of services and the patently corrupt business model upon which it is based."

Because I was unfamiliar with the area and was not offered any accommodations, I didn't sleep the entire time I was in Chicago. I also had to stand in line for a very long time and by the time I was done rebooking my flight all the airport restaurants were closed. I understand there are flight cancellations, but it just would have been nice if the airport was a little more accommodating."

Information over the speaker system was shared in German, English, and sometimes French. Individual TV screen was nice. Good smooth flight. Boarding and deboarding were painless, even in economy."
Contra: "Economy seats a little too close together for a long flight. However, economy seating was comfortable. If possible, sharing information about where to locate customs in the arrival airport, would be a nice addition."
