' I paid for premium seats and did not get rebooked for the same. I am sitting in the Geneva airport for 7 and 1/2 hours, losing my meetings in Vienna. I never expected such poor service from Swissair."

Contra: "Legroom is non-existent. This was by far the most uncomfortable aircraft I have ever flown on, with the possible exception of an Ilyushin 62 operated by Tarom in 1983. I felt bad for the man in front of me, with my knees in his back. That is, until he reclined his seat and put my video screen in my face. Not much to watch anyway, but it was impossible to lean forward at all. Boarding at JFK was rather chaotic."
Contra: "While I was on line to board, a flight assistant came to me and asked me if I was flying by myself. When I said yes. they upgraded me to business class. I boarded the plane and took my seat. Shortly before taking off, another flight attendant came to me, told me they made a mistake, and sent me back to my original economy seat (while I was holding my new business boarding pass that they gave me). When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever."

In addition, the bathrooms were very dirty. The breakfast was a really bad muffin that I couldn't eat."

Had to cheat my way through the priority line and run a sprint through security and beyond. Reached the gate to note that there was a delay of 5 minutes.... Grrrr"

I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. Contra: "Plane was late, the plane's status online was not updated. The crew was somewhat arrogant, the credit card terminal was not working for credit cards of people who are not of Polish nationality. The airline charges for alcoholic beverages when most European airlines serve alcohol for free."
Pro: "I was unable to board my flight given British airways misinformed me about a COVID test prior to boarding for a flight to Israel. This resulted in a $50 fee, loss of money."
Contra: "There should be no charge and a refund issued for a mishap on behalf of British airways."
Pro: "From JFK to London, staff was friendly."
Contra: "From JFK to London, a large number of passengers were not wearing masks properly and the crew did not take action other than a reminder early on. From London to Edinburough, the crew was somewhat rude."

Contra: "Flight was delayed by 2 hours because of hydronic issues. I feel asleep and missed the food which was part of the ticket wasn’t woken up. Was then woken by the passenger behind kick my chair which was not comfortable at all and the entertainment system was something out of the 80s, screen so small could see the picture that well and the touch screen was not that reactive. Cabin crew we grumpy. Ashamed this is called British not what I called British........"

Contra: "I couldn't do online check in and was at the airport 2 hours before the flight but they said they cannot give me a seat number and waited there for 25 min to get a seat number. The seats were really uncomfortable (compared to airlines as Turkish airlines and American Airways).The flight attendants were not there to make your flight better, one of them was sulking and was afraid to smile to you but when he was with other crew was able to laugh! Also food was really bad!"
Contra: "Wheelchair assistance was not provided to both the passengers , even though it was requested during reservation."

Contra: "The flight was being run by Iberia, not British Airways. Iberia has a policy which did not allow me to check in without proof of a return flight. Unfortunately, my travel partner had booked the return flight and did not share the details with me. I was not able to reach my travel partner and, as such, was forced to buy a new ~$2,300 return ticket on the spot in order to provide the necessary proof. This was an extreme inconvenience, as I nearly missed my flight. If Iberia or British Airways made its travelers aware of this policy in advance of their check in. I have no intention of flying Iberia ever again."
Pro: "This flight did not have much enjoyment due to the extreme delay overseas."
Contra: "There was an ill passenger onboard as we were flying mid Atlantic - instead of flying the aircraft onward we turned around to St.Johns (understandable) however once we arrived we roughly sat on the plane for three hours after the passenger walked off the aircraft conscious. There was paperwork delaying the craft to fly, the re-fueling took over an 1 hour due to not knowing how much fuel to put into this larger plane. There were also difficulties on the plane other then a passenger being ill, the craft had some engine issues after landing in St.Johns - the pilot tried to keep crowd control by lying to the passengers. As we finally got up into the air, knowing that we missed our connecting flight to Budapest from london already- it was stressful. Then as we approached Europe we were told we have to land in Dublin due to the crew working too many hours... Which the pilot had to of known as we departed from St. John's yet he told us we were on our way to London. We waited in the airport in Dublin Ireland for at least 3-4 hours we were told another crew would bring us to London at 3pm yet we didn't even board until 5-6pm. We finally got to London 12 hours after we were suppose to arrive. And to our final destination 14 hours after we were suppose to arrive. I expect a complete refund from this flight from JFK- Budapest. It was the worst experience ever."
Contra: "Seating was not comfortable."
Pro: "Nice food, polite, warm and competent staff, blankets and pillows at every seat. Kids enjoyed all the shows. You knew you were not flying an airline that cut corners."
Contra: "Plane crew had to reassign seats since plane used had a different configuration than one listed at check-in. That took a long time, but crew was experienced and calm and handled it."
Pro: "Premium economy seats - even the old ones that were on this flight - are still a better experience than economy but I didn't find the difference in price worth what was delivered."
Contra: "Service was scattered compared to the LHR > JFK leg. No "welcome aboard" drinks, staff seemed very distracted, frantic and a bit disorganised. Food was very disappointing and I'm pretty sure it gave me a sick stomach for 24 hours after."
Pro: "The special meal was horrible"
Contra: "As was another flight operated by American Airlines and the second flight connecting us. We were not on it. Still stuck in Orlando trying to get home when this took off. They closed the gate on us early in Orlando leaving us stuck with no way home. . This airline is shockingly bad. It will be avoided at all costs. Not really surprised as the flights with them to get there were very bad also. Go with a different airline. Always."
Pro: "The crew was very nice and accomodating given the delays and the change of planes"
Contra: "The plane was delayed an hour and a half. They had to change the gate twice. The worst part was the plane. The original plane had a problem and they replaced it with a tiny everyday commercial jet for a 7 hour flight. It was extremely uncomfortable and I felt like I got a bit robbed because of how expensive the flight was."
