They ask for electronic vaccination status to be downloaded but then they ask to see it again!!! Whats the point of downloading?? Also economy class was allowed to board through business and were not told to go to a different line
Complaint about food. Business class. Lufthansa was out of three options that I requested. No effort was made to manage a viable option so I was given no main course by the gentleman who came to serve me. Very disappointing. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Listening covid restrictions and following them is completely nonsense. Avoid touching others? How when plane is full and everybody who pass around touchs me. Keep distance?? How???? Avoid walking in the plane but also wash your hands regularly with soap and water? How? I should avoid walking but at the same time you want me to wash hand regularly? It means i have to walk up and down. What is regularly for you? Every 15mins? Every hour? Every day? It is so stupid what you are telling that my brain stops to work.

The connections were very tight, I had delays on the first 2/3 flights and almost missed the connecting flights. Check in at Austin took nearly an hour and almost jeopardised making the first flight
Pro: "My trip had two legs, Austin to Heathrow and Heathrow to Riyadh. The crew from Heathrow to Riyadh were great. I wish I could say the same about the crew from Austin to Heathrow."
Contra: "Overall, the flight was fine. My comments are relative to BA 1st class. At best, I would rate it in the middle of the business class flights I've flown on other airlines. There is nothing about the experience that is actually 1st class from a separate lounge, to boarding, to in flight meals. The seats on my planes were worse than Turkish Airlines Business class (among many others). Storage around the seat is also FAR worse than other airlines products,even in business class. I had taken the same flights in November and 95-98% of the entertainment options were the same. There were, maybe, 2 new movies and 2-3 new documentaries/TV shows. The in seat charger only worked on one leg. Several meal options were "sold out." Mediocre at best."

Contra: "If BA wants to do business in USA, perhaps they might consider that many international travelers use Global Entry and TSA precheck services. It's not nice showing up and taking your shoes off and fumbling through your carry on to consolidate liquids without being forewarned!"
Pro: "The connecting flight got canceled and 24 hours latter we are still in the airport trying to get to our final destination."
Contra: "We rebooked our flight to another flight firvthe following day and that one got canceled too. They have not returned our luggage yet. They said within a week we'll get our luggage. The worst company on the planet. Do not fly them. Our vacation has turned into a nightmare. We had to repurchase tickets with a different company so we can get to our final destination. We don't know if we'll get reimbursed for any portion of this."

Pro: "Boarding was speedy and efficient in Austin. The plane (787-9) was very new and clean and felt like a premium experience."
Contra: "Our assigned crew member was short with customers and not to the usual friendly standard of other BA flights we have taken. The food (Veggie Lacto Ovo) was disappointing. We had no bread versus other passengers and had fruit for both desert and breakfast. A little imagination goes a long way, normally only the main is different but this experience was very underwhelming."

Pro: "The flight from Toronto to Boston is extremely short, about an hour. I don’t feel as though I can rate the food since I didn’t buy any, it just doesn’t give me an option to not rate it. It was a completely full flight. It was as comfortable as can be. It’s a smaller plane so you feel everything but the captains were good flyers."
Contra: "I’m not sure if this is something I can really complain about but I wish the flight attendants would’ve spoken a bit lower. For a plane where half of the people there had missed their connecting flight and were put on a 6:30 am flight, I don’t think we wanted to hear about their detailed personal lives."
Pro: "Entertainment and crew helped make the situation better but a 3 hour delay made my experience unpleasant."
Pro: "Everything went almost smoothly and so I have little to complain about."
Contra: "There was a snow storm in Toronto that caused me to lose about an hour. This is obviously to the fault of no one, but it was annoying nonetheless. It ended up causing me to miss my initial flight to Kelowna."
Pro: "No built in entertainment systems. YES PLEASE. Built entertainment systems take up room, sometimes have screens that can't be turned off, and some generate a lot of heat. So glad they were removed. The built in streaming service is a much better solution. Crew was fine."
Contra: "Seats are just ridiculously close. This makes boarding take longer. I don't think emergency evacuation is feasible. Have seats this close been tested for evacuations? Knees-touching-the-seat-in-front close. Taller people can't sit with legs straight in front. Eat before your flight."

Pro: "Chris from AirCanada customer service is a true hero to the industry and I'm sure he deserves much more recognition than he gets. Thanks Chris for helping save our travels!!!"
Contra: "When checking in for our flight, AirCanada prompted me to select which passengers' email addresses should be used to send updates in case of changes, delays, or cancelations. I selected the both of us to receive the updates. However, we never got any notice that our flight was CANCELLED. They cancelled it well in advance that had we known, we wouldn't have gone to the airport but NO - we already arrived and passed through security only to arrive out by the gates and see on the board it was cancelled. Even while passing through customs, the officer said he didn't see it on the flight schedule and then said, "oh it's just listed at a different gate." The way in which AirCanada handled the incident was completely unprofessional and just plain stupid. I for sure will be giving my business to Amtrak or Greyhound the next time I need a trip from NYC to Montreal."
Pro: "It was a normal flight. Only one hour."
Contra: "Snack options could have been better, only a biscuit."
Contra: "Flight was delayed by 10 minutes but had to wait 45 minutes on the plane before take off. Quite stressful and tiring!"

Contra: "They only had two people at the counter to check in passengers for two flights that took off fifteen minutes apart. they closed the ticketing/ checkin counter downstairs an hour before the flight was scheduled to take off. the same people moved up stairs to work the counter at the gate. it took us an hour and ten minutes to get check our bags. Once we got to our destination, only one of two bags was with us. the airline won't even deliver the missing bag to us. they will only get it to the destination airport if they can find it."
Pro: "Boarding and deplaning were easy and pleasant. The 4 hour wait passed pretty quickly. The seating was tight but expected. The flight was smooth, the crew friendly and responsive. Plane was clean, bathrooms clean, nicely kept that way throughout the flight. I did have help reconstructing my import-export card."
Contra: "Space under the seats is smaller than expected. With passengers waiting in the aisle to get their seats, I had a second to decide what to take out of my one carry-on before putting it in the overhead bin, and as a result, was without some necessities during the flight. Pearson is a problem. Flights from everywhere were backed up behind a single person operating in security, and hardly any AC personnel there could speak English clearly. The confusion & wait time pretty distressing to most people in line. I had 4 hours to the next flight so wasn't worried, but waited 1 hour in line in the airport hallway before getting in to present information to security. Situation at airport is not good at all. I'd try to avoid Pearson as a transit point if I could, in the future. The music channels were so distorted I couldn't listen to any of the offerings. Too bad about that, but it didn't ruin the flight. Arrival in Zurich was on time and easy."
Pro: "The plane was very comfortable. There was ample room for carry on luggage. There was many options for entertainment. The staff was friendly. In addition, there was a good amount of food. Overall, very pleased."

Contra: "Rushed to get connection flight at Vancouver. The official One hour 10 minutes connection time shrunk down to about 45 minutes, which is too short considering that most flights leave late from Chicago with an overly busy airport take-off schedule."

Contra: "In flight entertainment didn't work in laptop and steward was not familiar enough with the app to troubleshoot the problem. Limited variety of entertainment. Bumpy flight even at landing. The airplane was making weird noises since the engine started. Food variety is also limited and very expensive for what you get"
Contra: "Overall everything was great, but they lost our luggage going to our destination and coming back."
Pro: "The flight was half empty so was able to have a role to myself"
Contra: "Air Canada Rouge should be renamed Air Canada Rude. Employees are very un-friendly; Seat design on the plane is the most uncomfortable of any airline out there. Very close to each other and very little padding on cushion of seat. Dirty plane; don’t think they serviced it between flights, garbage in each seat pouch. Very cold on flight, crew did not regulate the climate control. Too many unnecessary announcements both in English then French. Each announcement seemed like it lasted about 10 minutes which no one listen. So much for trying to watch a movie that pauses every time the crew feels the needs to talk. Sat at gate for 30 minutes pass departure time without any explanation until right before we departed (waiting on passengers from late arriving flights). At lease they could have told us. Anyhow this is not the Air Canada of old. Air Canada Rouge shows no signs that they care about the comfort of their passengers."
Contra: "The post office lost my passport and I was unable to go on this flight. Customer service was unwilling to provide a solution that did not cost thousands of dollars to rebook and see my family for Christmas."
Pro: "The Air Canada staff in Austin was wonderful. The flights from Ottawa to Toronto and back were fine."
Contra: "Problems that were, to be sure, not entirely the airline's fault. The trip from Toronto to Austin was delayed because someone had taken the flight attendant's bag from the overhead. We had to wait until either the bag was recovered or a new flight attendant was brought in. On the return flight, the first officer had ruptured her eardrum, and the plane could not leave Austin until a new pilot was flown in from Toronto. It took hours for the airline to arrange for hotel rooms. The airline then offered vouchers when we arrived in Toronto, but their representative brought enough for only about 2/3 of the passengers."
Pro: "The in flight entertainment system was very good with movies on the back of the seat in front of you that you could choose from. The plane was pretty big and had decent legroom."
Contra: "They boarded late, and while there were free beverages offered no free food was given out at all."
Pro: "The airline was aware we were held up in the transit from the boston flight to the victoria flight and made some effort to hold the gate open for us. We made it with one minute to spare."
Contra: "The airport security were helpful in the end, but our our struggle to get from the boston flight to the victoria flight was a nighmare. We had to beg at each intersection to get through lines so that we could get to our flight. Is ther no way to streamline this process? It colours the journey with stress beyond belief. I cannot send my mother on any such trips because of this."
Pro: "On time. Comfortable plane"

Contra: "Although the flight to Canada was fine, the ordeal to try to get back was awful! So apparently Air Canada makes up whatever rules that they see fit but doesn't make you aware of them until too late. In Canada, the "International" terminal is not for every country, but for every country EXCEPT the US...I didn't realize that the "Air Canada English" is its own language. Also, they will resell your seat arbitrarily, without any previous warning and have no problem stranding you in a different country, forcing to pay exorbitant change fees. If you try to straighten the situation AFTER the entire fiasco, the only recourse is a random email. I would not only NOT recommend this airline, but I would stay far, far away from using Air Canada!"
Contra: "No good movies or music"
Contra: "My first flight had free snacks and movies to watch yet it was only an hour in the air. This flight was much longer with no movies and having to pay for snacks. Seems a tad backwards."
Pro: "Food service was well timed, every time we got hungry, a new meal or snack arrived. Movie options were good."
Contra: "Food quality was mediocre. Boarding in Istanbul was a circus with our passports being checked 5 times and a supposedly "random" search of carry-on baggage, but almost all passengers were subjected to it. User interface of entertainment screens was slow and not helpful ( I have to click on each movie to even see the title? Terribly time consuming. ). Flight was in the middle of the day, but windows were darkened to make it look like night time almost the whole way. Why can't we control our own Windows?"
Pro: "EXCELLENT LEG ROOM AND SPACE"
Contra: "THE FOOD SUCKS....EAT A DECENT MEAL BEFORE YOU BOARD. THANK GOD I WASNT HUNGRY OR I WOULD HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED."
