United also doesn't get it and still gives people cheese or something like potato salad obviously made with mayonaise, and some spread that is either butter or margarine on a sandwich."

NEEDLESS TO SAY WE MISSED THAT FLIGHT. WE WERE BOOKED ON A LATER FLIGHT WITH UNITED. THIS CREATED MORE PROBLEMS THAN I HAVE SPACE TO WRITE. I AM 70 YEARS OLD AND HANDICAPPED. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Contra: "The seating was absolutely HORRENDOUS. Even though I'm nearly 6'3" (close to 1.90m), I generally never complain about seating space or legroom, even on low cost flights. This particular TAP aircraft, however, despite looking quite new, had some of the most cramped seating ever. Additionally, the trays were minuscule (you could barely place the entire food tray the service during the flight, let alone have another drink at the same time on the tray). Also, on the inbound flight (this was the return one), the seats were fitted with a very simple and clever tablet-holding mechanism, so you could easily watch something on your table while eating your food (from a similarly small tray table). The seat back pockets do not have any material/fabric on the sides, so stored items could easily slip out sideways from the pocket. Shame to have such a good in flight service and to be a punctual airline if you're going to carry your passengers cramped like cattle in seats 'rivalling' the ones on Ryanair flights on 4-hour long journeys."
Contra: "I am an Asian woman. After seeing the person who is a Caucasian man set next to me used the toile right in front of our seat twice during the flight, I went to use it. Just as I was entering the toilet a flight attendant yelled at me saying: "you can’t use this toilet. It’s for privileged people. You have to go to the end of the aircraft and use that one!" Then 10 minuets later another caucasian man seated behind me went to use the toilet right in front me without any problem."

After booking my flight on kayak I called TAP customer service just to make sure that everything was fine .I asked them about luggage they said I had 2 free and a carry on when I got to the airport said I had to pay for the 2 i said no told them that i called TAP they didn't wanna hear it i asked for the manager she I am the manager and you bought a discounted ticket and there's no luggage with this ticket only acarry on in a mean way if you want the you have to pay $90 for each I tried to call TAP can't get through them when they finally got through them the guy confirmed that I ve called it on the records but it said now it's too late to do anything I am already at the airport that I have to pay and contact them later. I wasted good hour and a half on this and I had to pay $180. After all that at the boarding gate they announced that they will call by zone .they called especial need called frequent flyers zone A never called zone B all they said last minute was this is the final call for flight #.... and I was right in front of them and guess who were the people making the announcement yep the same people at the check in counter"
Pro: "The head stewardess was so helpful and nice! I was traveling alone with a 3-month-old baby and was very stressed out. The head stewardess helped me so much, gave me a more comfortable seat, a private place to breastfeed and a bassinet for the baby! She was amazing and I owe her so much for making my experience better. I also received a baby gift package that had a much needed pacifier clip! The flight was also the smoothest flight I've ever had across the Atlantic!"

Contra: "The Lisbon airport is very difficult to navigate; signage is poor, and there are not enough staff on the ground. The waiting lines for TAP check-in are outrageous. TAP policy states they allow choosing a seat starting 36 hours of departure, but the poorly designed website let me book seats, and then asked me to pay; at the airport they also told me I had to pay on check-in to choose a seat. Worst of all, at the gate, the waiting area forces all passengers to wait while standing in a big herd - an hour - while police spot check random passenger carry-ons and perform body checks."

The quality of the food was impressive and the salad even came with a packet of real Portuguese olive oil and vinegar. When appropriate we all had to open the shades and drinks were served again and later a small snack of a sandwich and a juice were given all in perfect timing."
