It was not Lufthansa. It was a cramped United flight. We have health problems and had to pay $472 extra just to get a better seat. The temperature in the plane was freezing. Plus our luggage was not put on the plane and 12 days later, we still don’t have it.

Pro: "It was NOT Lufthansa. It turns out it was a United flight. Fortunately they now have individual screens with individual options of what to watch like on other airlines. They did have my special meals as I ordered them. I sat next to a wonderful young couple from Finland. That made the journey interesting and pleasant."
Contra: "I really thought I booked a flight with Lufthansa,which I far prefer than United. They do better with beverages, (Perrier, Pelegrino instead of club soda, better special meals, better model airplanes). I am going to have to figure out how to get a Vegan eal that is not spicy. When I order Hindu Vegetarian it is always too spicy. United also doesn't get it and still gives people cheese or something like potato salad obviously made with mayonaise, and some spread that is either butter or margarine on a sandwich."

Contra: "I had a short transit time in Munich (40 minutes). Munich website promises that this is possible and that gates are close to each other and if the first flight is late, then someone will help you to your next flight. My first flight was about 10 mins late. Although assistance was provided to people connecting to some of the other flights, no-one helped me with my connection. I asked two ground staff and was just told to make my own way to the next gate, which was not close. It was in a different terminal! After literally running through two terminals, I did not make it to the gate in time and had to wait for the following flight which got me home over three hours late. Lufthansa did give me a five euro meal voucher though (which doesn't buy very much in an airport cafe)."
Contra: "The food wasn't good. The beef goulash was chewy and a piece of gristle got caught berween my teeth which I had difficulty removing. For lunch I had a pizza margarita and nothing else. Something else like an ice cream cup would have been nice. I tried to check in a second bag online and was unable to do so. I paid $75 at the check in counter which is exhirbitant compared to other airlines. my brother paid $100 for a bag which was 9 pounds over the limit- that's outrageous!! The person at the check in counter had difficulty with the credit card machine and we waited over 20 minutes to resolve the issue."

Contra: "There was some metal box by my left foot that restricted my leg room even more than usual. But I'm not sure if there was anything that could have been done about that."

WHEN WE LANDED IN FRANKFORT THEY WOULD NOT LET ME OFF THE PLANE SINCE THERE WAS AN ERROR HAVING A WHEELCHAIR AND A LIFT TO MEET THE PLANE. I SAT ON THE PLANE FOR 45 MINUTES BEFORE THE ISSUE WAS RESOLVED. I GOT TO THE TERMINAL AND WE WATCHED AS THE PILOT CLOSED THE DOORS OF OUR CONNECTING FLIGHT 35 MINUTES PRIOR TO TAKE OFF. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE MISSED THAT FLIGHT. WE WERE BOOKED ON A LATER FLIGHT WITH UNITED. THIS CREATED MORE PROBLEMS THAN I HAVE SPACE TO WRITE. I AM 70 YEARS OLD AND HANDICAPPED. YOUR INCOMPETENCE CAUSED MY WIFE AND I NUMEROUS PROBLEMS I WILL NEVER FLY YOUR AIRLINE AGAIN. I KNOW THIS WILL FALL ON DEAF EARS. I WOULD APPRECIATE A RESPONSE."
Pro: "After 4 hours of sitting on Tarmac and in lounge, they finally told us that the flight was cancelled. Better safe than sorry. Hotel, dinner...."
Contra: "7 hours of uncertainty. Having to re check in at midnight after the airport ordeal. Mixed messages about check in, baggage location, 400 people all showing up at once this morning to check in, having not been able to print boarding passes."

The crew was visible, helping and offering drinks all the time. The checking at the gate was unprofessional, and the boarding was a mess.
Pro: "I liked almost everything. And according to me, it does not make a difference if we rate things good or excellent at a certain point in time. As long as it is good, it can be excellent. I mean including crew. People have good days and bad days. I am sure the crew can say the same about passengers."
Contra: "What could have been better is: - the email that the airline generates and senda to people a couple of days prior to flight directs you to a site where you are supposed to fill in the blanks. About Covid. The thing is that you cannot submit it unless you as a passenger fill out an Austrian address. The electronic form does not have the option to rule out staying in Austria and indicating that you are transiting in Vienna. I had to fill that form out (at the Address in Austria section) with sentences like “not applicable” “transitting” and also had to google the Vienna Airport address for the zip code so it could be submitted. The form forced me to fool the it. Not cool. Frustrating."

The touch screen in front of me was not always responding when I tried to tap the screen. The audio jack was also not working great; sometimes I did not have audio in my right earbud and I had to turn and fidget the plug. The earbuds provided by the airline did not even work when plugged into the screen, I had to use my own earbuds."

We had to wait 10 hours in VIE & given €12 for food. AA cited "rotational issues". Shockingly, Austrian Air delayed the 2nd flight by another hour "to wait for someone". We had to cancel the show. Really angry"

I weight 62kg and was sitting in a middle seat. Next time I'll have to get an upgrade."

Contra: "Most of the crew was great (hence the five star rating) and the flight in general was at least on a par with competitive airlines but we did have an unpleasant encounter with a young man who we were told was the purser. When my husband asked about what seemed to us like a very high level of security (including dogs on the gangway as we boarded the plane), this young man replied in a very condescending manner,"It's America. You tell me". Well, we are Americans, not always in agreement with our country's actions and attitudes, but that comment was needlessly dismissive and hostile."

$40.00 check in fee if not checking on line, even though we ALL have to check in at counter too. 2.50€ for a water, but at terrible exchange rate for Huf. Uncomfortable at best for 6 hours. Zero entertainment. Crew are nice😃
Zborul a avut intarziere la plecare iar cand a aterizat am asteptat sa vina autobuzul sa putem cobori din avion. Totul a fost groaznic decand am plecat din Buc catre Roma si inapoi. Nu ma asteptam sa fie atat de slab serviciile si timpul de asteptare atat de mare cu intarzieri. In plus sunt multe cerinte sa poti zbura: masca FFP2 iar echipajul nu are asa ceva dar noi suntem obligati sa avem, se cere test pcr sau antigen pt cei vaccinati, nu e normal asa ceva. Asta inseamna sa ne faceti pe noi cei vaccinati niste prosti pt ca ne-am vaccinat. Urat din artea voastra. Bani dati aiurea pt ca nu ne-a mai cerut nimeni asa ceva. O abusurditate. Ar trebuii sa ne dati banii inapoi, bani cheltuiti degeaba fiind vaccinati cu buster!!!!! Am fost taxati 40 euro pt 3 check-inuri pt ca nu am facut check in cu 3 ore inainte de zbor deoarece aplicatia nu a mers. Am platit pt ca serviciile voastre nu merg si sunt proaste. Cei care călătoresc alături de oameni cu probleme, viitoare mămici, etc så fie cît se poate de înțelegători și comunicativi! Niciodată nu știi unde te duce viața!
O mică parte din călători ar putea încerca så fie mai ascultători și disciplinați. Nu îi costă nimic și nici nu este imposibil!
Organizare execrabila! Nu a existat niciun fel de distanțare!!!

The gate agent was also very rude and not proficient at her job, causing us to delay the plane's departure. Exceptional customer service may have included refunding us the large carry on bag fee. Additionally, our 2hr flight cost us almost $200 each, not what I would call a budget airline price. We will not be flying Wizz air again & do not recommend this airline."

Pro: "Nice clean plane, friendly airline staff (as friendly as they get, we all know how they have that teflon attitude), OK food, I sat between 2 Bulgarian passengers which were very well behaved, one screaming baby nearby (as there always is) and no-one playing football with the back of my seat all the flight (you know who you are - hope someone does it to you), and no-one fidgeting all flight so all in all a good experience."
Contra: "Bit slow in opening the gate for people to get on. They expect to cram you like sardines on a hot staircase with no where to go when there is other people being checked in to board behind you, really stupid and possibly sadistic."
Pro: "The plane and crew from Pilots to Flight staff more than perfect. We was kept informed all the way as take off was perfect, and the landing at London Luton was the best have ever had as you normally land land then get an extra hard heavy jerk to slow us down extra hard braking. The Pilots of W6 4503 on 23rd of August 2017 is a credit to your company as they landed without the extra hard braking you normally get. Those pilots both of them should teach the other pilots's of your company how both of the pilots did it, and even teach other airline pilots the same IT WAS A VERY SMOOTH LANDING. Give the pilot's a commendation or an award as I would like those pilot's on any of my flights I have in the future. You can let them know it was me that told you to credit them in the highest award they can get please. Let their bosses, and company owners know this as well. So maybe if you call them in the office for something PLEASE CREDIT THEM for the PERFECT LANDING MORE THAN A CREDIT TO YOUR COMPANY as I put that ion bold to enforsize a perfect landing."
Contra: "I was in 24B middle seat which was very cramped as the seat too small and back of seat too low, knee area not enough, no chance of getting to sleep as you cannot get comfortable enough as you cannot even sleep on the tray, kids screaming all around me, people behind me kept kicking moving my seat, people in front of me too loud Bulgarian's. At Varna airport me and others queued up in check in 2 and 3 patiently, and after about 20 minutes queuing two people jumped the queue in check in 1 as the second guy I had to tell him we have been waiting you cannot jump the queue and to go to the back of the queue, and a guy walked straight into check in 1 before check in 2 and 3 was opened and got his bag done, and a big group of people with prams etc was not even in check in lane 1 where they was sorted out well before us queuing as they just turned up and got there bag etc slips on the prams etc. A lot of the information on board was in Bulgarian and not in English only a very small thing NOT TO BLAME THE PLANE STAFF in any way."
Contra: "Never ever gonna choose Wizz air ... not a frist time I had to pay extra because of the suitcase ... But this is happening always on Hungary not in London."
Contra: "We arrived at a field in Israel with 2 backpacks and did not charge us extra, but on the way back they decided to charge us at the last minute for the same cases we had arrived with. Nothing we said helped and the attitude was cold and hard. The flight was good"
Contra: "Boarding luggage no more that 32 cm, all comune boarding luggage are 34-38, they did on purpose to charge u €40 more on ticket, I saw at List 20 people charged for that."

Contra: "The boarding was announced 30 minutes before the beginning of the procedure. All the passengers were standing in the queue, without any possibilities to sit down. At Luton there is no connection among the announcements and the actual status of the boarding of a particular plane."
Contra: "The bag policy with the airline makes the cheap flight not worth it. Only one carry on allowed and each checked bag is $50"
Pro: "I like the bubbly upbeat attitude of the flight attendants interacting excellently in English and other languages and also how they dealt with an angry passenger."
Pro: "Staff were friendly, when they weren't trying you charge you for everything"
Contra: "I've flown on dozens of airlines, and Wizz Air has to be one of the absolute worst in terms of arbitrary and punitive charges. I managed to avoid them, but you never know when they'll give you a €30 fee because your shoelaces are too long."
