For 20 minutes crew stood around in the airport talking to each other and using their cellphones. Finally the transport bus was loaded only to have the bus driver get out, and talk to another employee while simultaneously using his phone. No information was given for the delay and the plane was boarded at time of departure. This careless and unbothered attitude resulted in a missed connecting flight for my partner and I. We were completely unassisted by crew on the plane and ended up having to wait 24hours for our next flight home. Absolutely disgusted by the service provided from Cluj to Munich. I would seriously consider another airline before booking again with Lufthansa for this route."

The food was terrible and by the end of the 90 minute flight our rears were sore from the poor seat cushioning. Not a good experience at all. All of this was after a terrible experience and delay just trying to connect flights within the German airport and the security delays that probably would have made us lose our flight if it wasn't delayed. There needs to be a better system if you are not staying in Germany but just connecting flights from the same airline!"

Fortunately I found some fellow Americans who also couldn't find Terminal A , lower numbered gates, from our current Z gate. We went to the right, following most disembarked passengers and signs for some A gates....a mess! In the end, we had to go all the way back, past our original gate to a Customs area where they just stamped our passports and onward to our gates. It seemed like the signs only helped if you were going in the correct direction to begin with. Even my German friend said how bad that airport is for directions!"

(it was a lap-ticket, no seat) When we arrived at the check-in counter, they said that because it was a lap ticket, we are allowed only a baggage of 10KG piece. We were delayed at the checkin counter with a baby in our hands, and humiliated (as people in the line behind us started to get nervous). I'm definitely gonna write a mail to VAYAMA agency. The system charged y credit card for a seat reservation and then crashed with an error, both on my phone and laptop browser. When I called at 9:00 am (when their offices are open) to ask for help with what happened, I received no answer other than, "the check in system has just closed. I am unable to help you in any way". I booked another flight with another carrier, and did not take this flight., not do I plan to book with them in the future That being said, it is not the job of the employee to defend a poorly working system. Services need upgrade asap."

And then someone started smoking on the flight and the attendants had to announce again that smoking wasnt allowed. On and off throughout the flight it smelled like someone was smoking so I wonder if it was even coming from the cockpit."

The on-line Seating Selection is also unreliable, I was seated next to an empty seat which had been showing to be unavailable on-line! A response to my query which I sent to Blue Air arrived when I was in the air on the flight! It only repeated the baggage section of the Confitions document! Thank goodness for the excellent airport check-in staff and the Flight Crew!"

The airline would not allow me to carry it on (only recourse was to purchase a second seat for it). I was forced to pay a baggage fee (around $70 u.s.dollars). For what? To pray it doesn't come back to me damaged? To their credit, it did not..."

I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."

Never having flown this 'unique' airline before, we did not know the process. At the check-in desk, the clerk told us that if we couldn't show him our boarding pass, he would charge us 30GBP to print them. He was a complete jerk. After no help from him, I was able to figure out that we did have them as attachments. Never again."

I also could not prepay for my luggage so they overcharged me at the airport and had an attitude about it. My luggage was given three different prices quotes. I am very upset their website didn't work and they ripped me off at the airport."

To be safe I purchase the extra allowance for large carry on which I paid £19 for on my outward journey. When clearing the check-in gates on my outward journey in London the check Inn clerk informed me that I did not have to pay the large carry on allowance. According to her in my bag but it's been classified as small. On my return journey I decided not to purchase the carry on allowance and I was told that I should have purchase it online instead I had to buy it at the airport at a premium. I won't fly with Wizz Air again."

Contra: "Told our bag was too big even though we'd paid for a large carry on, which we already knew fit in the overhead compartment (plane was an airbus A320). We were then required to check our bags, but not until after we were told to combine our personal item with our large carry on bag & then told that it was too big. instead of crediting us the amount we'd already paid (€20), we were charged the full checked bag fee of €55. The gate agent was also very rude and not proficient at her job, causing us to delay the plane's departure. Exceptional customer service may have included refunding us the large carry on bag fee. Additionally, our 2hr flight cost us almost $200 each, not what I would call a budget airline price. We will not be flying Wizz air again & do not recommend this airline."

Also there was a long delay in Ciampino at the baggage belts considering the airport was empty - i know this is more a problem with the Airport but ryanair would surely have enough pull to get this sorted."

I don't understand why we have to pay to sit together? Seat here available to have people sit together. It's a terrible money making tool especially if you have older children who are nervous flyers it means you have no choice but to pay which is unfair"

I was perfectly willing to pay- I had not fully read all correspondence from Ryanair that warned me of this fact (my fault). My problem was with the extremely rude service. If I'm paying 55 euros for the service of printing a piece of paper, I expect it to be rendered with a little less active eye rolling. I also understand the need to discourage people from checking in at the counter to keep fares low, but this fee is not discouraging people- 10-20 euros would do that- 55 euros is clearly aimed to take advantage of people who do not frequently fly ryanair, or use mobile phone boarding passes (such as Americans with no service abroad). I'd suggest warning customers of this fact when they submit their original payment, where they are certain to see it. I often don't read correspondence suggesting I check in online because my phone is not capable of doing this and it's not a requirement of most airlines. If you truly want to avoid people checking in at the counter (and are not trying to just gauge people)- ensuring that people are informed of this fact by putting a notification where they are guarateed to see it (such as when they submit payment) would be more effective than a 55 euro fee."

Contra: "We had a 9:15 am flight, we had bought one 15kg luggage for check in beforehand and we each had our own carry on (group of us 3) given that we had an early flight and it took us over an hour to get to our airport we had very limited time to get through check in and security to board our plane. Upon access to our boarding gate they would not let us in due to the size of 2 of our carry on. We understand it is policy for them to fit into the carry on fitment test in order for it to be free so we were then directed to pay extra for our carry on and have them checked in. By this time it was 8:40am, the person in charge for checking in luggage said it was closed and to let the boarding agents know that we can get through. Although we told them this (lots of going back and forth wasting more time) the boarding agent said it didn't matter and we needed some sort of proof that they said it was ok. We had no idea what to do then since they wouldn't let us check in our carry on nor get through the boarding gate & pretty much getting brushed off whenever we tried to ask if there were any other options. Finally by 8:50 we decided to take out some items and carried them. Through the security line we see a lady with a carry on almost twice the size of ours! Very frustrated with how things were dealt with considering they knew our plane was about to depart, our experience was a complete nightmare & will most likely not be flying with Ryanair again"

They had a priority line and a regular line and took both lines at the same time and herded us onto a bus. I ended up getting on the plane after 30 people who didn't pay for priority and finding room for luggage was a mess. You have to jump out of your seat upon arrival to try and gettting back to your luggage. Just know that Ryan Air is a cattle car. Seats are small and padding is long gone. I frankly expected that, but didn't anticipate the priority fee being a fraud."

Contra: "I was told I could not use my pillow for take-off, landing and the majority of the in flight. I broke my neck years ago and I need the pillow for neck support especially for takeoff and landings which are always the most painful part. ( Didn't help that the pilot had rough decent and a violent touchdow on landing). I just truly am baffled as to why I was not allowed to use a pillow? We are not talking about some large bed pillow we are talking about a small pillow that takes up no room and is specifically made for flying. I tried using my water bottle as neck support but it was no luck. Flying is already painful enough and to not be allowed to use a pillow which helps to support the neck is truly agregious. I really don't know what to say on why this wasn't allowed but I hope this issue is solved with upper management so the next person with such a problem will Never have to go through this. As for I, I will never use Ryanair again. Truly disappointing."
