Pro: "I felt safe on this flight. Middle seats were empty, plane seemed clean, masks, etc. were in place. I flew Sun Country a few weeks prior to this and flight was overcrowded and COVID precautions were way insufficient."

Pro: "It was good organized. Staff were polite friendly and helpful. There was no craziness from the passengers. I loved the flight attendants were normal people. I saw older and plus size attendants. Given this diversity I am more likely to fly delta."
Contra: "Flight delayed 30 minutes on tarmac but holiday week so it could have been much worse. Slow deboarding process and air conditioning was not running and with the full flight it wS uncomfortable."

Contra: "I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

Got eticet. But charge was not cancelled. At airport I had 2 tickets. Working with bank. Today gate agent gave me 1st ticket number. Used Kayak and delt never had this issue. Email not changed or misspelled."

Delta was able to get us on an earlier Flight land then delivered our luggage the next morning. Delta sent an e-mail with the driver's picture, name and picture of the vehicle. I had to pay $4200 for the flight. My flight back to Orlando is on September 9 on Iceland air. How can you compensate me?"

From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Both luggages are missing. -made the complainment, now we are waiting to show up in Romania and to be delivered at home. -went to pick up the rental car, because of the plane delay, they gave our car away. -after trying several companies, we found a car, 3 times more expensive, but we have a car....yeeyy"

There wasn’t any compensation for the inconvenience of having to change of plans of staying around the house waiting for luggage when we paid for hotel rooms and we didn’t get a refund on our trip we couldn’t take. When we knew flights from Frankfurt to München ran daily. Very disappointed. Byron becker we flew from Florida Orlando fo Munich Germany and paid a high price for traveling. Also we were bumped three times fro, Frankfurt to. Much each time on standby. Very disappointed. Sorry but this is the truth."

Contra: "I have flown on many budget airlines that were more comfortable than this flight. Hard uncomfortable chairs with a lack of leg space (and I'm only 1.70m). The food was poor and the service was worse- i pressed my call button for a drink mid-flight and it kept getting cancelled without a steward coming. Finally, after pressing the call button about 10 times a steward came and begrudgingly brought me a drink. Choice of movies was poor."

But it took more than 20 minutes while mid way waiting for clearance to leave for the plane. The service bus did not turn on the AC while we waited even though we complained. We were suffocating. There was no entertainment on the plane."

Contra: "the poor Air Canada Rouge employee boarding the passengers from the gate was alone but it was hard to see her working so hard. There should have been 2 employees there as it was very busy and many had to wait. I had wheelchair assistance and was left at the wrong exit for my shuttle and had to walk quite a distance, which took me a very long time, and therefore added over an hour to my travel home."

Contra: "Flight back was OK but flight to Orlando was not. Travelling with s 94 yr old man in a wheelchair. Everything at Pearson is not conduscent to travel with a handicapped person. Poor layout, poor assistance, non caring people, long distances,, and final straw was air canada started boarding without calling for handicapped first. We had to stop them and then fight our way up the aisle with people all in the way. Terrible, just lousey. 3 and a half hours before flight we arrived and didn't even have a chance to get some lunch before flight. I give Toronto and air Canada the worst possible rating of any airport or airline I've ever dealt with. John O"Hearn"

Pro: "I was not given a seat assignment on an early 6:30am flight but was given a first class seat...that was a bonus because I was travelling with my dog so I had ample space."

Contra: "Almost missed my flight because an Air Canada representative insisted I could not use my visa debit card for the luggage fee. I then tried to pay cash, but he said that he didn't accept Canadian currency, so I would have to use the ATM to withdraw American cash. I did, and the fees were ridiculous. Then, he didn't have change to break the 40$ i withdrew into his $25 fee. I proceeded to follow him as he walked around for twenty minutes asking random people at the airport if they had change for a twenty. It was very embarrassing and stressful, as I already was in tears from saying goodbye to my partner. Boarding the plane wasn't a problem, but getting on a plane in Orlando, Florida with the air conditioner broken with a plane of 300+ was outrageous. It felt like a sauna in the airplane and the kids were screaming in discomfort, something a 20-something like myself wanted to do as well but had the control not to. It's a shame because we used Air Canada a lot to travel back and forth to visit each other, but with this last trip we will no longer be using this airline and will shop for alternatives who are worth the price of admission."

Contra: "Difficult to cancel flight. Could not do on line and when I called I went through a menu that said that no one was available and to call back later. Didn’t even state what later meant. Subsequently ended up not canceling in advance since very little ability to call back once into work day."

Contra: "I was delayed significantly for both flights on my round-trip and all Air Canada can offer is 15% off my next flight with them. What an embarrassment this company is to be the official airline of Canada. They should change their name to Air Rouge and allow some other company earn Canada in the name. What absolute trash honestly, if you like delays because the plane has a technical problem and they can't even sort out a back up plane within 6 hours, at their headquarters with all these hangers and planes at their disposal, then at least you'll get 15% off your next delayed flight with them."

Contra: "They only had two people at the counter to check in passengers for two flights that took off fifteen minutes apart. they closed the ticketing/ checkin counter downstairs an hour before the flight was scheduled to take off. the same people moved up stairs to work the counter at the gate. it took us an hour and ten minutes to get check our bags. Once we got to our destination, only one of two bags was with us. the airline won't even deliver the missing bag to us. they will only get it to the destination airport if they can find it."

Contra: "Pretty much everything. From boarding late, rudeness of crew, tight space of seats, no airvents etc. 1hour late as well."

Pro: "The in-flight staff were friendly."
Contra: "We avoid Air Canada and after this flight that will continue. First, they wanted $400 for the return trip to guarantee that my wife and I sit together. To guarantee that we sit together and that it would be safe for her 28in femurs it would be $800. Then the Orlando leg of our trip was delayed by two hours, guaranteeing that we would miss our connecting flight. They would not make arrangements prior to departure, nor would they respond to any enquiries from any of the passengers about their connecting flight arrangements. On arrival in Toronto, as we pulled up to the gate, they announced that they had found alternate connections for all but 4 passengers that we would get more information outside. There was nobody at the gate. There was noone at customs. We did not know if we had a connecting flight, or if we had to pick-up our luggage. Nobody from Air Canada gave us any information. We asked security at baggage if we should go on to connecting flights or wait for luggage and were only informed that once we leave the baggage area we couldn't return. When we got to the terminal entrance for connecting flights, we were told (by security) that we could not enter without a new boarding pass. THEY directed us to the line for Air Canada (no indication if we were in the right line, but other people in the line were in the same situation. We finally got to the counter and were informed that we were on the last flight of the night and given boarding passes. Thank heavens that my credit card has priority pass membership. Delays happen. The way Air Canada handles it turned a minor annoyance into a maximum-stress situation. We already avoid Air Canada because they took away almost 50,000 travel miles for not flying for one year. We will work even harder to avoid them in the future."

Contra: "No food options, only beverages. Checked luggage is extra. It's a shame we're constantly losing services with flights but the costs remain the same."

Contra: "- Overhead storage was occupied by someone else sitting in a seat rows away so I had to store my carry on under the seat in front of me reducing my leg room even more than the cramped seat."

Pro: "Because of the snow storm in Canada, there were delay. Air Canada improved a lot since the last time I travelled with them maybe 3 years ago. They are nice and want to help us. Since there were a delay at MCO, I had less time to catch my flight at Montréal. Everyone was helping. They look at us and smile. We don't seem to disturb them like before. There were an exeption with the woman at the Air Canada desk (MCO)for the luggage and at boarding who was annoying by my question and demand. She was the only one like that. Other passenger also notice it Everything went well also when I travel on my way to Orlando Nov 30."

Contra: "Seating was not comfortable and didn't want to pay extra to secure the appropriate seating.. Ihave travelled with Air Canada Jumbo jet in the past and found it was much better..."

Pro: "Not certain the type of aircraft used for the flight from Orlando to Toronto, but it had more leg room and more comfortable seats that the flight to Orlando which was on an Airbus. The seats were a wee bit wider and the extra few inches of leg room made the difference between a completely unbearable flight and one that was "poor." (See comments about the crowding and heat.)"
Contra: "We were returning after a cruise, spent part of the day on a shore excursion before being dropped off at the airport 5 hours before our flight. There was no rep at the check-in counter until 3 hours before the flight which meant we had to sit in the terminal for two hours. If they could have had one rep on duty to check in early arrivals, we could have proceeded through security and spent time in the MCO Lounge which would have been more comfortable than the terminal. Once their check-in counter opened it took about 2 hours to clear that and security. Once on board the sold out flight, we were told it was too cold in the front of the plane; while in the back it was baking. For a flight departing Florida, I would expect the airline to have A/C running before we boarded."

Pro: "No snacks but love flying with Air Canada. Hope it continues."
Contra: "Have to bring my own snack."

Contra: "They lost our checked baggage. Luckily we did get them back within 20 hours."

Pro: "Great pilot(s). Took off in storm and had probably the best landing..."
Contra: "Delayed 55 mins, delayed 5 more mins, delayed 20 more minutes by the time we boarded zone 5 they weren't even checking passports. Just scanning boarding passes and letting everyone on. I found most issues with the Orlando airport itself."

Contra: "Horrible smelly crampy cloth seats, awful food, they don't offer complementary wine and beer for international flights like other carriers, no tvs in the headrest. The flight crew works slower then I have ever observed in my over 200 flights. Took them 1hr 40min to serve what they called "dinner", Delta and others knocks it out in 30!!! And don't get thirsty, You'll die of dehydration before you get a drop of water. They treat ice like its gold. 2 cubes for each drink. If u ask for more u get one more cube. Lol. It was just a horrible experience! I will never fly Air Canada again."

Pro: "I thought the crew was friendly."
Contra: "The seats were incredibly small and uncomfortable. No snacks were offered."

Contra: "The fight itself was fine. Not great. Not terrible. But the airline lost my son's suitcase and has been entirely unhelpful ever since then. Now we have been stuck in a foreign country without clothes and toiletries for 36 hours and Air Canada's "helpline" has been anything but helpful. They can not find any information on the location of the suitcase and hope that they will find it in another 48 hours. Rediculous!! I will never fly them again and suggest that you save your money, effort and vacation by flying with another airline."

Pro: "We eventually got here...6 hours late"
Contra: "Bottom line is that they appear to NOT service their planes well and Captain made poor decisions. Only flight on the board listed as "delayed" on a sunny cloudless day in Orlando. Never a raindrop and instead of leaving at noon, we left at six. 1. Took them 45 minutes to change a tire on the nose. 2. According to captain " a strange item was beside his cockpit seat and that took an hour. I assume he didn't recognize his empty Oreo box. How do you allow someone to drop a strange box in the cockpit. 3. Taxi out and a switch won't work. Sit there for 45 minutes. "We were able to reset it." Go 100 yards. Stop. "Need to do another reset." Doesn't work. Takes corporate 30 minutes to decide what to do. Return to terminal for maintenance on phantom problem. 4. Sit at terminal for a couple hours. No one allowed off. Beverages are all warm. Crew serves warm water and crappy sugar-bomb pretzels. Passengers get sick. Won't let anyone off. 5. Finally gets in the air. Crew has nothing but snacks; no real food. Beverages are warm. 6. EVERYONE misses connections."

Contra: "We had a short time between flights. Custom wasn't to bad but having to get through security again was a mess. The security guard at first location told us the floor above was moving faster and had more doors. We were in a hurry and changed lines and the other was worse we walked up to gate right in time."

Contra: "One of the bags came after 5 days as it was not loaded on our departure flight. What was worse, we were unable to get any information. Each time we called we were given conflicting information."

Contra: "No complimentary snacks and all available food extremely expensive. Would not use this airline again if others were an option."

Contra: "Having to pay extra for a window or an aisle seat."

Contra: "Trying to take off twice and warning lights came on. We had to sit in the plane for an extra 1.5hrs and an additional hour in the terminal. Third time was a charm"

Pro: "Worse experience ! I will never use united anymore ."

Pro: "The main reason why I even flew United is that I was desperate to get my destination that day and they had the cheapest flight. It helped that the Customer Service Representative ( Liz at MCO) was extremely helpful and understanding of my situation. My experience with Liz has changed my outlook on the company. There are still humans beings working in United Airlines!"
Contra: "I chose to fly Southwest on the way back and for less money I received better service. If you find a reasonably priced flight you don't have to worry about paying extra for baggage or stomach during the flight. On the flight home, I realized that they have bigger seats, your bags ( 1 personal, 1 carry-on, and 2 checked bags) are "free" and they give you a little snack to hold you for maybe and hour. Overall I prefer Southwest because of all the benefits you get while flying with them but it doesn't mean I will never fly United again."

Contra: "United employee working by the kiosk's was rude and totally UN-helpful. Told me to find someone else to help me. So I did and she was great, took a whole minute to do what needed to be done. Said that the rude employee was like that EVERY day w customers. I said, time to get rid of that employee! Then....a fuel spill, then unload people who were on the plane, then talk of cancelling, then ok to start boarding again. Late leaving, late arriving. But...free snack mix and direct tv to apologize. Big deal! Poor management for a monopoly company."

He said I couldn't because personnel were still boarding, and I promise you that there was only 3 people behind me in line, none of which sat in that row. I figured he would tell me I could move after the remaining 3 personnel boarded, but he did not and I sat uncomfortably that entire flight."

Contra: "United ruined our checked car seat. They spilled jet fuel on it and it stinks. No response from them on a compensation claim! Be on guard!!!"

Contra: "I will never fly with United again because the practice of overbooking a flight jeopardized my trip to see my daughter. It is clearly a business decision and United makes more money that way; but at what cost? If I pay for a flight; at minimal, I expect to get to my destination. Service, comfort, entertainment and all other categories rank a distant second to getting to one's destination. That is the primary function of an airline and United has compromised that through the overbooking practice."

Pro: "The seats on the plane where nice and spacious. One employee from customer service named Aisha was a great help and took the time to listen to my issues and help get me on a new flight"
Contra: "The company overall is completely unorganized and majority of the employees are disrespectful and unwilling to help. During my layover in Washington DC my gate number was changed I was never informed despite signing up for notifications and having an eTicket that was never updated. When I asked one of the employees for the proper gate number they gave me another gate number that was incorrect I ran to that gate and the person there than give me the correct number but by the time I got to that gate I missed my flight After dealing with that I was lucky enough to talk to somebody who was helpful at the customer service table. She did her best to accommodate myself and three other friends unfortunately the next flight was over booked and only had two seats open. When I tried to explain to the attendants by gate A6 (Jackie and E Badi) that I have a party of four and I could not leave anyone behind they called security on me for not going on the plane. Once the security officers came they heard both stories saw that this was a waste of their time and told us all to file a complaint after getting the employees names. I would never recommend this airline to anyone traveling!!!"

I think everyone would buy. I brought a few snacks but not much. That would have turned the experience into excellent. They could have sent someone to grab yogurts or packed sandwiches. Would have helped."
