Contra: "Our flight from Kathmandu was delayed so we missed our connecting flight to Vienna. We don't know why it took so long to organize the hotel. Turkish Airlines was ready with new boarding passes but we waited two hours at the hotel desk to get a bus to the hotel where we again had to wait till they gave each passenger a room. If they organized the boarding passes ahead of time, why not the hotel? So we were quite exhausted. The plane was again delayed leaving Istanbul. Movies on flight not what they used to be."

Pro: "Walking past the Turkish Airlines desk in Dulles and knowing I would NEVER have to interact with these monsters again."
Contra: "I am an experienced traveler. I've been to 17 countries and have flown over a million miles in both business and coach. My wife encountered a problem in Istanbul that involved an airport transit visa through Canada. I am certain that any other airline we’ve ever flown would’ve assisted us, since it was easily resolved. To Turkish Airlines, this is simply a part of their business model and a chance to make more money. It took about 8 hours of our time at 5 different airport locations to eventually buy new tickets to get back the next day. Our original tickets say: “REISSUE With 200.00 USD penalty. What I didn’t see was the fine print at the bottom: “Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change rules regarding ticket changes and refunds.”. They mean it. As bad as our personal experience was, the real reason we are so appalled is that we were there long enough to see this is the norm for them. In our single day there, we saw at least 100 other travelers going through similar things. The ONLY solution ever offered is to purchase another ticket. We witnessed several people weeping. Many losing control and shouting. Their own personnel were screaming at customers (in a separate office area though, it was all yucks and laughing). These were people of all nationalities. Africans, Asians, Europeans. We were lucky because we had the means to purchase new tickets. Others clearly didn’t. I really don’t know what happened to some of them. One moment was very symbolic of the entire experience. Another vanquished traveler was paying $843 for a new ticket with cash. He handed her $845 but she, of course, had no change. Instead of the $5, he gave her two $1 bills. I had one in my pocket so gave it to her as well. She held my $1 bill up and pointed to the corner which had a very small piece torn off…no ink was missing…and sneered “I can’t accept this. She did this simply because she could. We were powerless. She knew it and reveled in it."

Contra: "I was penalized because of a political issue between USA and Turkey. I couldn't get the visa to travel there, and despite that I couldn't get a refund. I am 1k with united air, and will never include THY in my plans."

Contra: "On the registration checking in in Boston Logan Airport they did not tell me that I as an american citizen must have a visa. After arriving to Turkey they refused me to get in and sent me back to the states. I want refund all my expenses on this trip."

The crew was courteous but the hostesses could try smiling a bit more. Their courtesy was appreciated but it felt very methodical, more of an obligation and not spontaneous. The pilot did a great introduction and gave information about the trip. Also the plane toilets were clean compared to other companies. I expected to see a wider selection of more recent and award winning movies. Will definitely fly Turkish Airlines again."

First, name two things on a flight line that are wheeled, movable objects. Did you answer bus and plane? Well done. So if both bus AND plane are theoretically mobile, why then must I endure a long walk AND a long bus ride? Boarding was an hour-long event, probably due again to inefficient ground services. I fell asleep and woke up twice before it was over."

Contra: "While the staff compensated for the more than standardly cramped seating arrangement, I think the row of seats just in front of the lavatories should be either better designed or designated not usable. I am only 5’3” and 125lbs but still was faced with a mere 5 inches in front of me when the passenger in front of me reclined his seat. I couldn’t even stand in order to exit the row and had to crawl over the seats to my side. This had me thinking how dangerous this row could be in case of an emergency. Please consider designating these seats either not to be used or optional for passengers."

One of my worst experiences and rest assured if I’m given a chance I will never choose Lufthansa again."

Turns out our flight was delayed 2 hours so they could have still put us on it. But business class made everything better it was by far the best experience"
Contra: "Nothing business class was the best experience I’ve ever had flying. Not one single complaint because the crew was so nice and accommodating and everything was so comfortable food was UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS."

Ударим углеводами по обездвиженной тушке. Мультимедиа система есть, фильмов нет (!). Всё сами, всё с собой. Мне не жалко денег. Мне кажется правильно объявлять правила игры. У «Победы» все честно. А тут - ощущение обнищавшей компании. В общем, я теперь ими полечу только по крайней нужде. А вы - если что планируйте все с собой брать."

Contra: "Due to wrong time in the boarding pass and unclear calls for boarding I missed my connection flight and all subsequent legs of my trip"

Pro: "The food, I must say, was the most impressive thing. They give away some souvenirs for you during the flight which was awesome. I even got ice cream as dessert. I can't tell what to say was wrong with the flight. I will definitely recommend Aeroflot for sure."

Contra: "Never got the chance to fly. My initial flight to this destination was cancelled. Wasted too much of my time."

Pro: "I travel quite a lot, domestically and internationally. Compared with United Airlines, which I use often, Aeroflot is way way better and ahead. For example, food alone, I can give 9 (in the scale of 10 with 10 being perfect) to Aeroflot, while I honestly think United deserves 1. In terms of service, Aeroflot is also very good."

NYC office closed till Monday, phones are not working, so, you're not gonna get any help from those guys; 3. Most of JFK phone numbers listed at aeroflot.ru are not working, there was answering machine working on one and I left a message, still waiting for call back (it's Monday now); 4. Had to call Moscow office, after 56 minutes waiting on the phone I was re-scheduled to Wednesday."

Pro: "Everything was very good . Crew was for polite . Food menu was unbelievable . From wine to icecream."

Contra: "There were a group of people next to me talking and laughing loudly through out the whole night. I asked one of the stewardesses if she could speak to them but should wait 20 minutes so that its not obvious that it was me who was complaining. She repeated what I said and assured me she will take care of it. Instead she came over to them 2 minutes later and then turned to me and said everything will be ok. Of course they continued being rowdy the whole night. The flight was ruined as I could get no sleep. Will think twice before going with Aeroflot again"

Contra: "Im waiting for the flight for 2:30 hours and then they said the airplain flight without us . And then we wait for 12 hours again until 19:00 Then they said the boarding delayed till 20:30 . And after more 30 minuts they said the boarding delayed for more 4 hours!!!!"

Pro: "The stewardess who was supposed to speak French had a very bad accent and we couldn't really understand. But the overall was great"

Contra: "They lost the luggage of approximately 40 of the passengers. This created so much chaos at the baggage claim that the staff was completely overwhelmed and many people missed their connecting flights. I'm still without my (and my son's) luggage and I'm not confident I'm ever going to see it again."

Pro: "We had an excellent flight, partly because we were sitting next to friendly people. The food was good, and the stewards were helpful. All in all a great flight."

Contra: "I ordered a vegetarian hindu meal (I didnt see another option for vegeterian that eat chease and eggs) and I got chicken which I don't eat. I asked for the stewardess for something else (everyone was eating eggs or panckaes) and she refused."

They made them to buy new tickets because they didn’t accept those that I bought online.!! When I asked why they it happen they lady From call center turned the phone off."

Contra: "They split me and my wife on porpuse to force me to buy the option to choose my seating. The leg space is tiny and the chairs won't recline so it's super uncomfortable. Flight times are shitty. Te leave early in the morning so you can barely get some sleep at night. Nor on the plane. They don't any serve food or even water and let you dry up. You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."

Pro: "One of the very rare on-time, efficient and smooth flights with Wizzair. Check-in was fairly quick and incident-free, despite some of the other passengers reporting problems with the procedures and the staff. Boarding was quick and the flight actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled."
Contra: "As usual, the cabin crew is adequately polite, but not overly friendly, the food & beverage range is mediocre and overpriced at best and the entertainment is virtually non-existent."

Contra: "The seats are cramped and you have to pay for snacks and water"

Pro: "I think some of the issues were passenger related, and passengers not listening to the crew. So it wasn't so much I liked it but some of the crew's attitudes were warranted based on the passengers."
Contra: "We were loaded onto the bus to take us to the plane and then stood on the bus for 45 minutes! Then were delayed even longer. With zero explanation the entire time. Additionally having to pay for even water is a bit much, especially when I came prepared, but drank more because it was hot on the bus."

Contra: "There was a problem with their website that was out of our control, that didn’t allow us to print boarding passes and we were charged at the airport even though we had proof we tried and were not able through no fault of our own"

Contra: "Horrible web/check in experience, 2hour delay. Inexistence of entertainment or comfort. What else can be said ?"

Contra: "Flight was delayed by 45 mins, and on board there was no water in the bathroom basins. This was known by staff, but they didn’t warn me as I went in, so I didn’t find out until I had already put soap in my hands"

Contra: "When I went to check in an hour before my flight, Wizz charged me and many other passengers an unexpected 40 euro fee. They claimed the fee was for checking in in person---and then they also claimed it was too late to check in online. There is no information in my flight confirmation from Flightnetwork.com, which i purchased on kayak, indiciating that such a fee would be charged. Many other passengers had the same experience."

Pro: "I was lucky to be seated next to the emergency door so I had a very comfortable seat. Also, the crew was very attentive."

Contra: "The fact that they have small carry on allowance (free) or with a 7cm difference in width a "large carry on" allowance . To be safe I purchase the extra allowance for large carry on which I paid £19 for on my outward journey. When clearing the check-in gates on my outward journey in London the check Inn clerk informed me that I did not have to pay the large carry on allowance. According to her in my bag but it's been classified as small. On my return journey I decided not to purchase the carry on allowance and I was told that I should have purchase it online instead I had to buy it at the airport at a premium. I won't fly with Wizz Air again."

Contra: "It was a full plane ride but they didn't seem to be boarding on time? After checking in we scanned our passports using the machines and then we were in what I thought was the boarding area so we relaxed and waited by the screens in a coffee shop. But when our flight gate was announced there was another passport control to get into those gates with a big line which threatened to delay our boarding. There wasn't enough room for everyone to put their bags in the overhead locker which meant there were even more delays and it felt a bit rushed to get off. When we arrived I was queuing down the stairs to get to the queue for passport control which took about 45-60 minutes to get through with no toilets. I was also charged 40 euros per person for not checking in and printing the boarding pass which is my fault, but the charges do seem excessive."

Pro: "Staff aboard the aircraft were very nice and so was the passengers."
Contra: "Bought a ticket two weeks ago to travel to Romania. Didn't have internet to check in, so I went to the airport to check in. When I got there because I was within 3 hours of boarding they had given away my ticket and made me a last priority boarder. I happened to get really lucky otherwise I wouldn't have gotten to fly on a flight I had previously paid for and was on time to."

Pro: "The ground crew in Varna were a thousand times better than Luton. Excellent flight and service...even with an hour delay."
Contra: "Nothing"

Contra: "Despite long delay, there were no announcements by the staff about the delay until we were already almost 40 minutes past our original departure time. No water or food was distributed to the passengers despite the delay. Delay was not wizzair's fault but there was no customer service to speak off."

Pro: "Staff were friendly, when they weren't trying you charge you for everything"
Contra: "I've flown on dozens of airlines, and Wizz Air has to be one of the absolute worst in terms of arbitrary and punitive charges. I managed to avoid them, but you never know when they'll give you a €30 fee because your shoelaces are too long."

Contra: "Tried to check in online was unavailable the system upon arrival they charged us an extra €105 it's theft"

Pro: "Nice new plane and caught up time even though it was late leaving left Luton late"

Contra: "They ticketing agent lost my luggage, after misreading the "package" I had to purchase just to check a bag. They had a push cart in which they sold perfumes and cosmetics. They charged for everything, including coffee and water."

Contra: "we didn't get food at all. i purchased a cabin baggage for 40 dollar, and when i went to the check in i paid another 110 euro for checked in baggage although i had only one baggage!!!"
