Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

And the crew was not polite enough so she made fun of my Cary-on. In short, I expected more from KLM which is famous for them being "Royal" but not acting as one of them."

When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."
Contra: "I think I caught a stomach bug on one of the 3 legs of this route. More likely on last 2, i.e. Mumbai to RDU, as I fell sick almost 10-12 hrs after my last flight meal."

These are NORMAL seats and you charge an extra €30? - Normal (2 seats per row!): what a bargain. Same crappy seats, but two people instead of three! This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."

When I arrived later than planned but still within good time, which was my fault, I reported to the Czech Airlines check-in (D2). This is very, very far from the Air France check-in (A2). No person and no sign was at Czech Airlines gate saying to go to Air France instead. By the time I determined what to do by talking ro the airport information booth and I walked to Air France instead of Czech Airlines (at CDG airport this is 5 minutes walking very fast speed on conveyor belts.. perhaps more than half a kilometer), I was past the boarding time limit, but the flight had not yet left. Then I could not print the boaring pass because of the time. When I asked an Air France employee for help, he simply said "you cannot board" and stood there smugly. He must feel great being a 25 year old who can turn people away from international flights at his own discretion to completely ruin their day especially when the plane is still on the ground. I have not even explained yet about the similarly awful experience I had when I booked the next flight (Czech Airlines at 09:45) for a much higher price (118 euro) and was not told that this Czech Airlines flight is "really" a Czech Airline flight. After paying much more to a Czech Airline person, nobody informed me to stay at the Czech Airlines area (2D) so I naturally went back to Air France since I had already had so much trouble. When I arrived there, of course, they tell me to go back to Czech Airlines and now I was again late. Thank God that I was able to confront a random trolley man who Kew where the Czech Airlines people were and try tried very hard to get me to the plane even though the boarding time was over. All in all, this was the worst travel experience of my life. I have now wasted 40 more minutes of my approximately 2.5 days in Prague to tell you this. I hope you consider it."
Pro: "Entertainment and priority air sircharge was worthwhile on long flight with connection. Seats were very comfortable with enough recline. Provided multiple beverage and food services."
Contra: "The Delta staff were unprofessional. Checking phones while people boarded, handed unopened beverage to 2 unknown strangers to pour themselves and share. We're "joking around" amd jobial in a manner that was unprofessional. Food was hot but overlooked and pastry was "steamed" so chewy."

The blankets and pillows were nicer than economy, and the service was impeccable, friendly and attentive. The cabin was quiet, and I was able to sleep most of the flight ,probably because I was exhausted and it was a night flight."
Contra: "We paid 370 euros to upgrade and for that amount, I wouldn't do it again. The seat comfort wasn't much better than economy, the food was exactly the same as economy -- terrible, especially because we were flying from Brazil to Paris -- so the only thing you're getting is a bit more space and less people. The movie selection was tired - or at least not my cup of tea."
Pro: "Entertainment options were great. In seat USB charging a plus. Food was good enough and plenty of it at the right temperature."
Contra: "Boarding process in Paris was very cumbersome... no row-range-wise boarding... you need to just stand in line. Additional hand baggage check at gate for the really unlucky ones. Economy Seats could use another layer of cushioning - very uncomfortable for long flights. Flight attendant was a bit mouthy... when asked for extra cream for the coffee - he said he "might as well get the cow for me"! 3 creamer packets may sound like a lot - but I couldn't help it as the creamer (2% milk??) was very diluted. Laughed it off at that point."

There is no gap under the bulkhead to put your feet, so although you don’t get a seat in front of you leaning back, there isn’t enough room to straighten your legs out which on a 12 hour flight isn’t comfortable."

Contra: "During the checkin from Rome to SFO for some reason I did not received assigned seats to the flight # 285 from Heathrow to SFO. When I came to customer service - customer support said that they sold more tickets than airplane has. I was VERY disappointed. A a result they put me to the next flight 287 that was scheduled 3 hours later. They gave me money compensation. I would recommend British Airways not to work like that. From my side I will never use this airline company any more. Thanks."

Pro: "The treatment and luxury of being a business/first class passenger. I've been told I was (free) upgraded from economi class to business class. Actually there was no business class,- it was first class. Because after arriving and leaving the aircraft, I walked (like everyone) through the First class,-and it looked exactly like the "business class" I was sitting. I had all the luxury and service a first class passenger had,- from the champagne and all other amazing beverages to the high end luxury dining and of course the amazing service of the flight attendants. I would always choose BA again if Ihave the choice. Even if it's still "just" economy class. BA is just an airline that treats all their passengers as first class member. Thank you BA for this experience. Keep it up and please, never change."

Contra: "On this entire business trip, I booked with other companies, but ended up 5 flights operated by American Airlines. One cancellation, 4 delayed, 3 late arrivals. The last one was the most annoying. I will be avoiding AA in the future. The domestic crews are generally brusque and miserable. The international flight crews were more accommodating and pleasant, but most of them also seemed annoyed at passenger presence. Also, having to pay for a preferred seat on a half-empty airplane is simply unfair. By 24hrs before the flight, AA must have known there were plenty of empty seats."

The flight crew at the gate was rude and inattentive."

Contra: "The fact they cancelled this flight for no reason, didn't contact me at all even though they had all of my information and than barely tried to re book me. They wanted me to take 3 connecting the flights the next day. And the next flight I was able to get on 24 hours later, I almost wasn't allowed to check in because they couldn't find my reservation."
Pro: "Although the flight was delayed, the crew kept a positive attitude and got us into another plane pretty promptly. They let us check in one of our bags for free to make up for the delay."
