( please note he marked on his check board, who is getting which meal on the first class)"

Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

And the crew was not polite enough so she made fun of my Cary-on. In short, I expected more from KLM which is famous for them being "Royal" but not acting as one of them."

No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Contra: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

Contra: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."

Contra: "Poor communication. Did not know was airfrance the booking was completed with Austria airline. In the ticket was not the information. Also, airfrance could not find me in their systems I was late to board the plane. Terrible messy and confusing time for me."

"ergonomic" seats: uncomfortable, narrow, really close to the one in front of you. - Normal (exit row): just give up. There's like 6 of these and they're taken immediately. - Normal (middle of the plane): are you kidding me? These are NORMAL seats and you charge an extra €30? - Normal (2 seats per row!): what a bargain. Same crappy seats, but two people instead of three! This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."

Pro: "The check in process was easy and straightforward but we were in the front of the line--which was very long. The lady who checked us in was very nice and pleasant and she was there for boarding as well. This process was very smooth for us."
Contra: "No water available unless you paid for it --same true of coffee and they only take credit cards. Was not able to request seats early and ended up next to the bathroom and lots of people standing in my personal space and the smell is overwhelming--the chemical smell."

Contra: "I paid for an extra leg room seat, which for me was in front of the bulkhead. However, I think this caused more discomfort than comfort. There is no gap under the bulkhead to put your feet, so although you don’t get a seat in front of you leaning back, there isn’t enough room to straighten your legs out which on a 12 hour flight isn’t comfortable."

Contra: "even though i was at the airport almost 5 hours before the flight - the check in process left me with less than an hour by the time i got through the line twice and then through all the security points - they waited way to late to begin checkin - my kiosk check in was a waste of time since they did the same thing at the window - however, and fortunately for us - they did give us boarding passes for all three legs of the journey whereas the kiosk only gave two - Kuala Lumpur, London and Madrid - because my companion was traveling with a philippines passport we needed to stay airside at all three stops"
Contra: "During the checkin from Rome to SFO for some reason I did not received assigned seats to the flight # 285 from Heathrow to SFO. When I came to customer service - customer support said that they sold more tickets than airplane has. I was VERY disappointed. A a result they put me to the next flight 287 that was scheduled 3 hours later. They gave me money compensation. I would recommend British Airways not to work like that. From my side I will never use this airline company any more. Thanks."

Pro: "The treatment and luxury of being a business/first class passenger. I've been told I was (free) upgraded from economi class to business class. Actually there was no business class,- it was first class. Because after arriving and leaving the aircraft, I walked (like everyone) through the First class,-and it looked exactly like the "business class" I was sitting. I had all the luxury and service a first class passenger had,- from the champagne and all other amazing beverages to the high end luxury dining and of course the amazing service of the flight attendants. I would always choose BA again if Ihave the choice. Even if it's still "just" economy class. BA is just an airline that treats all their passengers as first class member. Thank you BA for this experience. Keep it up and please, never change."
