Leg room and room for the tray table was so tight and uncomfortable for a long Flight. Paid extra for end seating and using British air for transfers through Heathrow as an American Air partner. Will try to avoid the extra cost in the future."

Contra: "This was not a low cost flight such as Ryan Air, etc. I expect British Airways to provide at least complimentary water, which they did not! Come on! For $240 per ticket you could at least offer a free glass of water and a pack of peanuts."

Contra: "Definitely an older plane with very narrow seats and very little legroom compared to other long haul flights that I have been on. They only delivered drinks once and then if you wanted any more you had to climb over people and go to the galley to obtaining yourself. Plane was also very warm so it was hard to get comfortable and there was not much airflow to cool you off."

Pro: "We didn’t make the flight from London to Rome because of flight delays. there was a huge time delay with our plane sitting on at the terminal and unable to de-board due to scheduling errors. This delay prevented us from making our connection to our next flight and now we are staying in a mediocre hotel for the night and have to wake super early and miss a day of fun at our final desitination. In general I would just move on, but we heard the customer service agent reference that they over booked the two flights to Rome. I guess we were the u lucky customers x two flights because we didn’t get a standby seat in the next flight then the prior agent gave us positive hope that we would get on. Lesson- make sure you have at least 3 hours between connecting flights."

I called Iberia and after staying on hold for 40 min they told me to use the same confirmation number of Iberia flight on British airlines website. After a long day and a long and expensive uber ride I made it to sfo to see the flight has been delayed... never ever ever going to buy an international flight from Iberia, and very hesitant about kayak redirecting sales."

Contra: "When I missed my flight, the airline would not offer assistance because I booked through an online vendor (webjet through kayak) and when I called webjet they failed to help me rebook, made me buy a new flight, then when I called looking for the flight information, they managed to cancel the flight and then claimed I had requested this when I had done no such thing. On top of this they only offer next calendar day booking so even though they are fully responsible for botching up the second flight I booked. I have talked to 10 individuals from different agencies. Everyone passes blame and responsibility off on someone else. On top of everything else, noone but the American Airlines representatives showed any empathy or concern for my being stranded for the night. Based on this experience, I will do everything in my power to dissuade people from using Kayak, webjet, amadeus and British Airways."

Pro: "we got a 787 dreamliner, the coach seats had good space between rows, so we had enough legroom. food - dinner - was tasty, and breakfast was plain but was completely OK. entertainment was excellent, lots of new movies, and also older movies and TV programs. crew was courteous and very helpful, and boarding was quick and smooth. all in all, a very positive experience."

Contra: "787 had issues with the window tinting. although it was a day flight, it felt like a night flight, with the expected effects on jet lag and fatigue. also, in premium economy, my seat was in the very last row, next to the toilet with no window, even though it is a window seat. to call a seat the 'window' seat, and then have no window is deceptive."

The worst company on the planet. Do not fly them. Our vacation has turned into a nightmare. We had to repurchase tickets with a different company so we can get to our final destination. We don't know if we'll get reimbursed for any portion of this."

Contra: "This was a multi city, round trip starting out of CLT. My connection was way too close, and we missed the connection due to a mechanical problem. The lines to get vouchers were super long, and the hotel was not the best. It was way after midnight when I got to the hotel, and I did not feel safe staying at a Quality Inn. I had to walk to my room outside, and had leave in the morning in the dark as well. I was traveling alone. Please put your passengers in a better hotel, closer to the airport. I did not expect that from American Airlines."

For those of us gluten-sensitive, watching our glucose levels, or salt intake there’s nothing. A 40 minute gate change from B29 to A11 in PHX was barely long enough to walk far less find and buy a healthy meal. Yet again I arose at 4am and had nothing to eat until after 4pm. ALL the airlines can do better."

Contra: "There should be more number of check in bags for passengers. At the least the overhead bins should be allowed to the passengers."

Pro: "Flight was routine except that I was astonished and pleased that the movie was “Love Simon”. Thank you American for maybe helping to change some attitudes in the center of the country."

Contra: "American Airlines (British Airlines partners) are a horrible airline. My 8 am flight has a mechanical issue. Which they kept up on the plane till 11. Now no mater what other plane I catch idmiss my connection in Dallas. Which means I don’t get to Paris on time. Which ruined my plans to surprise my gf and propose to her. It took one call to British Airlines to get me rebooked. Something american was taking hours. I still won’t make it on time but at least I’ll make it. American then misplaced my luggage and it took two hours to retrieve it. Turns out it was sitting behind the counter the whole time the kept telling me it would be on the baggage flame area."

Contra: "Oh man, I have so many things I need to say. I tried giving AA a chance, but compared to when I flew on WestJest two months prior for almost the exact same trip (I flew to San Francisco versus San Jose that time), WestJet was by far more superior in terms of customer service, boarding organization, and friendliness. First of all, what bugged me profusely was the lack of seat selection and the crazy pricing for certain seats. On WestJet, the emergency exit seats were available without any additional cost, yet AA was charging $66 USD to sit there. Furthermore, seats closer to Business class also carried a charge of $25 (or something like that) - ONLY because you get to board sooner. I would understand if there was extra legroom involved, but really, it's just a matter of sitting and getting off before anyone else. If anything, those seats should be given to passengers who have tight connecting flights and need to get off asap. even in those cases, you shouldn't be charging someone almost $30 just so they can make it to their next flight that YOUR company arranged within such a short time frame. But the most annoying thing about my trip with AA was the fact that I had to take out all of my belongings from my carry-on and carry them in my arms because there was no room left in the overhead compartments. Excuse me?? How is there not enough room? So I had to walk with my laptop, my iPad, my Beats headphones, my laptop and iPad charger, amongst other things, in my hands to the aircraft. Thank goodness I found a plastic bag, because otherwise I probably would have lost something expensive on that plane. Furthermore, as I walked to my seat, there was most definitely places that I could have stowed my carry-on luggage in the overhead compartments. You shouldn't let people put things like purses and bags of food in the overhead, when those can be stowed underneath the seats in front."

Contra: "The plane had several problems mechanically. After we boarded we spent another hour waiting for the problems to be repaired. It added an extra hour to sitting."

Pro: "Although the flight was delayed from San Jose and Chicago yet they reached as per original schedule time"

Contra: "The flight was not smooth, it seemed like the pilot didn't know what he was doing. I arrived an hour early for my flight and my bag got left behind. I'm only here for a day and a half and my bag won't reach me for another 24 hours. Really poor experience with AA."

We had long layover on return flight in Toronto and airport and Air Canada personnel were not very helpful or accommodating. When we asked for a suggestion on where we could go in the airport to kill several hours (eating, drinking, watching TV), were were told by many that the airport is bad and we're given conflicting or poor answers. Intimately the advice given put us having to go thru security and Custims again (even though we already had) and that process was extremely disorganized and time consuming."

Once we landed I had to clear customs in Canada and get to the new flight. They told me when I finally had to make through the airport and through customs that I need to manage my time better and understand and give myself plenty of time to make the flight.. REALLY??? It wasn't my fault that their crappy plane wasn't working right wasn't my fault we were delayed but I need to manage my time better I think they fell and bumped their head!!"

Contra: "No personal TVs. Could download the app however staff notified you of this after already on board and free wifi was not available. I could have downloaded it while waiting at the gate of they announced it. Also, my overhead light didn't work. I couldn't watch anything or read. Very long flight without being able to do these."

Pro: "Modern plane, space, good service"
Contra: "The pasta was not good and the piece of sugary bread for breakfast was also not good."

Contra: "Flight departing Toronto to Amsterdam was cancelled without adequate compensation. Flight was supposed to depart at 8:45. Was delayed repeatedly then cancelled at 11pm. Air canada wasn't able to get us a hotel voucher until 1:45 am and hotel check in at 2 am. Complete disruption of travel plans. Customer service at Toronto airport was terrible."

Pro: "Plenty of leg room"

Contra: "Plane windows were really dirt... staff was a bit rude..."

Pro: "Friendly crew very helpful. Not as loud as the last flight."
Contra: "So many people crammed into a small space. Needed more leg room and shoulder room."

Contra: "5 hour delay. Didn't get the correct seat."

Pro: "Quick flight, well-done!"

Pro: "The food was pretty good for airline food. The stewardesses were nice and attentive, and they provided an ipad for in-flight entertainment free of charge (usually $10) when my boyfriend's laptop couldn't use the system. Air Canada employees at check-in were polite and worked quickly."
Contra: "We had a terrible experience on our first flight from Chicago to Toronto, causing us to miss our connection and delaying our travel essentially 24hrs in total. We were expecting the worst this time around as well, but things went without a hitch. Only complaint is that the in-flight wifi kept cutting out so I had to keep restarting the videos I was watching, almost every 15min or so. My boyfriend's Air Canada-provided iPad had great service though, and access to newer released movies."

Pro: "On time good staff"

Pro: "I would have to say Air Canada offered the "best" service, flight, crew and environment I have ever experienced in Business Class."

Pro: "I liked that the flight that was said to be 1:26 delayed actually left about 20 minutes late instead."
Contra: "Too many gate changes had to walk to at least 5 different gates. Once I got to the gate the flight said intime but the alerts I kept getting told me it was delayed. Need a clear concise message all around."

Pro: "Good pilots"
Contra: "Service is dismal and run down interior. Rips in seats. Lags way behind Asian or certain European airlines"

Contra: "Stop pretending I can take a carry on. I'm boarding last, and guaranteed I'm going to have to check my carry-on."

Contra: "The seats are getting smaller and the leg space is nonexistent."

Pro: "The crew was excellent"
Contra: "I hate it after you land you have to take the stairs to the tarmac and then board a bus in the cold"

Pro: "Everyone was nice, and the flight was on time. Checked in with the app and just a carry on, so my day was hassle free."

Contra: "I want real food on 4 hour flights where there’s only 1 hour between connections. Starving from 4am pacific to 5pm eastern time is not good for my blood glucose levels. Salt and gluten laden over priced snacks are not good enough"

Contra: "People don't like surprises. Charging extra for seats, charging extra for luggage resulting in jammed overcrowded overhead bin space are not good ideas. United seats are smaller more cramped than your competitors making for an uncomfortable flight. Flight had no in flight entertainment or ability to charge mobile devices"

Pro: "The crew was very nice and helpful. They saw I am a large person using a crutch for my foot and upgraded me to business economy with an empty seat next to me. The plane was only about half full, so this was easy for them."
Contra: "The in-flight entertainment had an annoying habit of pausing frequently to buffer the movie. I tried to pause it purposely to gain buffer, but to no avail. Because of this, I was unable to watch the entire film. I chose the length to be well below the flight time, so the lack of closure was annoying. There are not enough chocolate choices in the snack menu."

Pro: "It was good overall"

Contra: "Very cramped seating"

Pro: "Staff nice and seat was comfortable."
Contra: "The computers were down in SJC so everyone was waiting in line to check in and drop off luggage. It was a very long and slow process, but staff were friendly and professional even with difficult passengers. The thing that bugged me was they kept telling us not to worry and that the flight would be delayed so that we all could make it. I was the last one on the plane and I know there had to be at least 10 that didn't make it in time. I think the flight was only delayed by like 15min or so. I don't think they should tell people not to worry because the plane will wait for them, when it didn't wait for all. I get it that you want to also please those in the plane already and those waiting at destination so I'm not upset. Just giving feedback."

Contra: "I will never ever book a trip through Kayak again. You basically extorted money from me. Terrible experience. Customer service is terrible. The agent priceline is a terrible company, extremely unhelpful. I could not be more dissatisfied with your company."

Pro: "After I boarded the plane I discovered my seat had been assigned to another passenger as well as myself! A bit unnerving but nicely solved by an upgrade to business class!"

Pro: "All the new amenities on united airlines are great the new seats are much more comfortable and have better leg room"
Contra: "No security for the wifi, I work In Silicon Valley and the soft security could be an issue but then again all the airlines lack passwords."

Pro: "All went smoothly this trip"
Contra: "The ability to standby for earlier flights with no added fee"

Pro: "The crew was awsome"
Contra: "my first flight was delayed so when I landed I had to run to the terminal to see if I can Catch my second flight I was worried my whole flight because I thought that I was going to miss the second flight and that my vacation was going to be delayed. Luckily they had not taken off and I think that they waited for us thank God and the crew"

Pro: "The seats were very comfortable. I was in the last row and was lulled to sleep by the engines."
Contra: "I had to check my second bag because they had no room for it in the bins. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I got to take it for no charge, and didn't have to lug it through the sirport."
