Unfortunately the luggages didn't reach to Cairo airport with me . 3 days later they told me that the luggages in Jordan and I have to travel from Alexandria city to Cairo to receive my luggages . When I went their , I found my luggages were opened and missing much items . I made reports on the airport. The employees in the airport they wondered why the opened the selling box , and the box looks empty. The weight for this box was 32 kilograms in the time of shipping. And I paid $400 for extra weight . But when I received it was like 20 kilograms. Plus I paid $350 for Qater airline for shipping 3 luggage . That's means I paid $750 for shipping 3 luggages and I received it looks empty . I need refund for all shipping and $5000 for damages items , or I will complain this airlines through the American court . Thank you"

He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Contra: "I was forced to check my bag bc the plane was “full” but when I got on there were more than 5 completely empty overhead bins. So now I’m waiting in baggage claim, after an already delayed flight, when there was absolutely plenty of room on board for my bag (which was of acceptable size)."
Pro: "Wi-Fi and USB ports worked great. Seat was comfortable after 11 upgrade. On time."
Contra: "Having to pay extra for a aisle seat"

Contra: "Gate agent spoke so ridiculously fast and swallowed so many sounds that it was virtually impossible to understand most of what he was saying. Most importantly we all missed that our roll-on bags wouldn’t fight in the overhead bins. As a result many people pulled their bags on and fought and struggled to force their luggage above, only to give up. The on-board agents recognized early the problem and then proceeded to allow many other passengers to stroll by them with their large roll-on bags, only to delay the boarding process and frustrate everyone. When making their safety announcement the flight attendant was clearly competing for fastest speaking human and rushed through at blazing speeds. In all my 30+ years of travel, I’ve never heard anything like it."
Pro: "Nothing it totally messed us up"
Contra: "We missed our 1night in Rome-had to go home and come back the next day-we missed our train tickets and hotel in Rome and it made our trip a lot shorter!"
Pro: "I liked the fact that, my flight was miraculously on time leaving salt lake city"
Contra: "I don’t like, however, the fact that 3 of the last 5 times I’ve flown American round trip midland tx to Salt Lake City I have missed my connecting flight on the way back due to no fault of my own. I have flown this trip once a month for the past six months and have to do it two more times before December. American sucks"
Contra: "Seats are so uncomfortable! Too close together"
Pro: "Time was good. Ground service was good. In-flight was okay. Because I love Cathay so much I took a 3 hour longer trip through LA (vs. Seattle) and paid more. But I was berating myself for that. But the flight back was Cathay service at its finest."
Contra: "We were not told our passports needed to have an expiration past six months of travel even though we got back before the expiration. We entered our passport info including our expiration dates and we’re given no warning. We even had our boarding passes prior to showing up at the airport. We will not use Kayak in the future and will book direct through the airline moving forward."
Contra: "charged a surprise of $175 for my third bag although Kayak mentioned i should be charged $75 at the time of booking. AA says it is due to Jordanyan Airlines, why was I surprised by this extra charge?!"
Contra: "Snacks were okay, nothing to shout about. Streaming movies is still of a mystery to me, not an intuitive experience in any sense of the word. the sites AA provides to answer one's questions don't give any real guidance on 'how', just state what, kept pointing me to the app which doesn't have any menu item to view movies. took me well over ten minutes to find any helpful information."
Pro: "Cabin crew was excellent."
Contra: "Deplaning at an inconvenient remote terminal with unattractive and minimal facilities, which involved waiting in a long line for a series of buses for transport to the main terminal. Arrival at the main terminal required climbing a flight of stairs. No in-flight food service offered except a choice between one cookie or one cracker."
Contra: "I am very frustrated that a single part could not be located in the early afternoon to allow the plane to fly. I will be late again for work and it seems to be American Airlines and not Delta that has all the delays or is late."

The extremely small overhead storage cabinets of the Canadair required many passengers to check normally acceptably sized carry-on bags after boarding and finding it impossible to fit. Waiting time for retrieving these on the ramp at the destination was excessive."

I'm thinking the airline shouldn't book the front seats by the panel as 'better' for the extra price as they were definitely not."

Pro: "Everything went according to the timetable, boarding was on-time and we even arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, so I can't really fault the service of the pilots, the cabin crew or the ground operations team. Food wasn't exactly stellar, but clearly a lot better than on most European flights operated by larger companies (Lufthansa, KLM, Air France etc.). The aircraft itself was clean and looked fairly new and well maintained"
Contra: "The seating was absolutely HORRENDOUS. Even though I'm nearly 6'3" (close to 1.90m), I generally never complain about seating space or legroom, even on low cost flights. This particular TAP aircraft, however, despite looking quite new, had some of the most cramped seating ever. Additionally, the trays were minuscule (you could barely place the entire food tray the service during the flight, let alone have another drink at the same time on the tray). Also, on the inbound flight (this was the return one), the seats were fitted with a very simple and clever tablet-holding mechanism, so you could easily watch something on your table while eating your food (from a similarly small tray table). The seat back pockets do not have any material/fabric on the sides, so stored items could easily slip out sideways from the pocket. Shame to have such a good in flight service and to be a punctual airline if you're going to carry your passengers cramped like cattle in seats 'rivalling' the ones on Ryanair flights on 4-hour long journeys."
Contra: "The service was worse than poor. The planes seay table had hair and dandruff all over it. The air hostesses handed me the food two isles away and I had to hand it to my whole row. I would never pay this price for business class for this airline or ever trust Kayak to give good options."
Pro: "Food was good, many options with entertainment"
Contra: "The person making announcements mumbled and spoke too softly for someone who's announcing things on a flight. We couldn't understand half of everything being said. Also both flights departed late even though TAP reported them as "on time." We sat at the gate for almost an hour before departing with announcements at that time solely in a Portuguese - on a flight going to New York."
Pro: "Food was above average"
Contra: "Wasn't told that baggage wasn't included in my fee. Had to pay 170 Euros at the airport to check our two bags. Really really frustrating, and beyond an exorbitant price to charge for bags..."
Pro: "When we landed at the destination."
Contra: "Gate checked 90% of the carry on luggage, but not with an official tag, just some guy scribbling on tags before the bus. Boarding was a fiasco: disorderly lines just to pile into a bus and shuttle to plane. Comfort!? Ha. I'm 5'8" short and my knees were digging into the seats in front of me. The new seats are hard as a rock and don't recline. Cramped is an understatement. The tray table is literally the same size as the tray itself. Did TAP build a mock up of this before production?!? You get to hold your drink and put your silverware in your lap while you eat. Food was too hot to open foil, and once opened was mediocre at best. Entertainment?!? Literally nonexistent. Well actually in the fancy seats beyond economy there is a little slot to attach a phone or tablet on the back of the seat. So your entertainment is whatever you brought. I guess the touchscreen/on demand entertainment I remember from the early 2000's is too high tech for TAP."
Contra: "If you're going to charge for a checked bag on an international flight, it would be nice if you made that clear on the ticket purchase. A tiny link buried in the information section "See baggage information for additional fees that may apply" doesn't make it abundantly clear that you're going to be hit with an $85 charge each way (ultimately $380 for my wife and me round-trip). Sneaky and dishonest!"

Contra: "If you are seating at the end of the plane they never have the 2 choice of meal and you are force to eat whatever is left, it happens more than once, seem to be the practice and is not fair to the costumer"
Contra: "Flight was canceled which was out of their control. Unfortunately, what wasn’t out of their control was the amount of people handling the rebooking. One person was handling alternate flights. I was the 6th person in line (which was the time equivalent of an hour and half wait. I missed all possible reroutes due to flights closing. The customer service of tap airlines is severely lacking"

Pro: "Uma antiga queixa minha era o tratamento dispensado pela tripulação da TAP aos passageiros. Muitas vezes faziam o seu serviço sem paciência e até mesmo de forma rude. Nos meus últimos 3 vôos pela TAP, a tripulação vem se mostrando muito mais cordial e até mesmo divertida, sendo bastante simpática. Ainda pode melhorar? Claro que sim, mas agora não tenho mais "medo" de pedir um copo d'água a mais para os comissários."
Contra: "Sei que a tendência dos vôos low cost é não oferecer muito conforto aos passageiros, mas o espaço entre as cadeiras está ridículo até mesmo para pessoas com estatura mediana como eu (1,80 m). A poltrona, apesar de não reclinar, era até confortável, mas os meu joelhos ficaram espremidos pela poltrona da frente. Sem contar que, para um vôo de 3h, deveria ser disponibilizado algum entretenimento, mesmo que através do wifi (como já fazem as cias. brasileiras - se no Brasil já fazem, qualquer país do mundo é capaz de fazer!)"
Pro: "The actual flying of the plane, take off and landing was really smooth! Well done to the flight crew! We were pleasantly surprised to be served 2 full tasty meals on our long flights as well."
Contra: "Tv/movie options were not as good compared to our previous flight to Lisbon. We used the economy option which required us to pay for a seat upgrade in order to be able to hear each other. I will use this airline again if I have to but it isn’t my first choice."

Contra: "Video in business was worse than my economy experiences 20 years ago!!!!"
Contra: "my luggage was opened somewhere along the way. My gift for my child was stolen. Ugly ! Very ugly !! I got home, I unzipped my bag and I do not have a pair of sneakers that were a gift for my baby and some other sweets, my luggage was half empty! The face of my disappointed kid broke my soul, that should not have happened."

Contra: "Arrogant crew. Hid in galley behind curtain for most of the flight. For several hours not even the offer of a cup of water! No possibility to charge electronics in economy class. Charge of $ 75.00 for first bag on an international flight?!? We're not talking about a budget airline, but THE airline of Portugal!"
Pro: "The food and flight attendants were very nice and accommodating."
Contra: "I had a 17 kg big baggage and a 7 kg hand baggage and was forced by the hungarian check-in attendant to pay the equivalent of 112 usd. I nearly missed my flight as nobody understood why I had to pay extra since my baggage was under - weight. Outrageous! Will not use Tap Portugal again and definetly won't recommend. Maria Petrita"

Contra: "This was the worst flight I've ever experienced. There was an incessant, loud high-pitched buzzing noise for the entire duration of the flight (we were seated in the very back row so it was particularly loud for us, but others further up said it was bad for them too). Also, we had straight turbulence for over two hours. I've never gotten sick on a plane before, and my husband never gets motion sickness, but we both threw up (and I think several others did, too). I don't blame the crew for any of this, as I know most, if not all, of it was out of their control. However, I would be very nervous to flight TAP again due to this experience."
Contra: "Tha total absence of hard alcoholic beverages, no moderate cocktails"
Contra: "Need to pay extra for everything...bags, seats.Very bad practice for entire industry. Should pay $50 extra per flight and mandate that all bags, except hand luggage be checked in."

Once on the continental flight I called for service from about the beginning of the flight- no one came to check why did I call for help. Bad service! Just before landing one of the crew members turn off my request sign without even asking me. So, no more TAP for me..."

Pro: "Love how tap took care of us when hurricane Mathew was passing. We were sent to a nice hotel in Fatima (city in Portugal). The company paid for our lunch dinner and breakfast. Unbelievable customer service."
Contra: "The 8 hour flight took forever. From boarding taking over an hour (I admit it was a full flight), the TV sets didn't work. They finally got most of the TV sets to work but we could only watch one movie that has several glitches (restating the movie after 15 minutes and volumes had to constantly be adjusted). The good options were limited for a pregnant women (sordfish - high in Mercury, turkey sandwich - not supposed to ear cold cuts, and meatballs (I unfortunately dint eat beef). I should have opted for the vegetarian meal but I wasn't pregnant when I booked my flight and the crew could not accommodate me. Also I think the should have servered one more round of drinks for a ver long flight)."
