My original flight was canceled and rebooked which I understood. The second flight was canceled without notification. The customer service rep would not allow me to fly into another airport due to a hurricane in my destination city. He also hung up the phone on me when I requested to speak with someone in the refund department.
Some of the food was overcooked so we couldn’t peel it off the metal serving container to eat it. Other food was served cold that was intended to be warmed. Other than that the flight was fine.
Flight was overbooked. Crew did a great job but passengers weren’t nice and really not patient. Flying in these times is not the best idea tbh.
The food was surprisingly good, and the beverages plentiful. The seat back entertainment screen was super fun. The only problem was that my seat back did not recline, while those around me did. And on a 9+ hour flight where I knew I needed to sleep, really uncomfortable. I was definitely unable to sleep. 🙁

Pro: "Flight left on time and as I was traveling alone I was upgraded to upper economy, which is a fantastic experience. Very smooth and stable flight. One of the best landing I even experienced. The flight inbound and outbound were on time both ways. Congratulations Lufthansa: I will definitely use this airline again."

Contra: "1, It isn't really a 100% complaint because I'm also responsible. As I was waiting for the dinner to be served it took more time and I felt asleep watching a bad movie, so I missed dinner when I finally woke up. This is the reason I have no opinion about the food. My sole complaint is about the general practice in all airlines that they serve first the slim minority that does not eat meat. Democracy means that the majority should be served first. Unless the airlines consider the vegetarians as some kind of sick people! 2. The crew didn't offered us enough liquids during the flight and the excuse that they didn't wish to disturb our sleep is too lame."
Pro: "The entertainment system included ability to access cameras on the tail and belly of aircraft which was interesting to watch takeoff and landing. Crew was great, flight was smooth."

Pro: "We had nothing to complain about and much to be happy about. The seating in economy (seats 36A and 36C and an Airbus 330-300) was generous compared to other airlines we've flown recently (e.g., on a 777 with United on the way over, and that was "Economy PLUS!). The food was much better than the United flight, and really, it was almost too much. I'm home 14 hours after landing and I'm still not hungry. They were also very generous with the drinks and worked to keep us well hydrated with water and juices. The crew was very pleasant and accommodating. Overall, it was a great experience and I will certainly look to Lufthansa first for my next transatlantic flight."
Contra: "My one gripe was that it was very hard to hear the audio on the in-flight entertainment system. I even abandoned one movie I really wanted to see because I couldn't follow the dialogue. Also, I discovered late in the flight that the view screen pivoted and this would have helped in enjoying the videos more. Here's an idea for Lufthansa: how about adding "Tips" to somewhere in the Entertainment system to improve your seat, viewing, and other experiences. For instance, I wasn't aware that the head cushion on the seats were adjustable to better support your head. One last thing, on the entertainment system, it appears to be browser based, but sadly lacks a "Back" button equivalent."

Contra: "It was not a good experience at all. Honestly, I wanted my money back. I sent United this letter, but no one is gotten back to me yet. Hello, my name is David Larkins. I have had literally the worst airline experience of my life today with United airlines. With confirmation number BS2EL9, my flight was set to go from Atlanta to Burbank, with a connection in San Francisco. The flight from Atlanta was delayed about 10 minutes, however, they assured us that we would arrive in San Francisco at the correct time of 9:39 AM with enough time to get to our connecting flights. They lied. Whereas we did arrive in San Francisco at around 9:39 AM, the plane taxied for approximately 15 or more minutes before letting anyone off of the plane. Still, I ran to my connecting flight before it left the runway at 10:10am. However, I was not permitted to step onto the plane by the fellow at the gate at the time. He told me that because boarding time was over at 9:55a, he would not let me step on the plane even though it was still on the runway. I was upset. I went to customer service and explained my situation to them. Speaking with a girl named Krystin S., I explained that I really needed to get to Burbank on time, before 2 o'clock. Today, I had a final for school, a meeting, and interview with a job, and I had to drop my dog off at the vet for an appointment which costed around $150. Krystin told me that there was nothing she could do, and offered me only a meal voucher. I was offended, and declined the voucher. I then spoke to customer service and they told me there was nothing they could do after informing me that the flight that they switched my flight to was delayed yet another hour and I would not arrive until 350pm. This is absolutely unacceptable, and I need a remedy. Far larger than a simple meal voucher. I have lost more money by missing my flight to Burbank because of the Atlanta airport lying to me then the flight was even worth. Also, I requested to speak to someone, but the representative on the phone said they didn't have a phone number to speak to anyone which adds to the cumbersome nature of this issue. Contra: "When I checked in at Newark, I upgraded my seat from 22 B to 7B for $55. I also paid $25 for my small piece of luggage. I was told there may be a lot of suitcases and it was better to check it. When on the plane, a stewardess came up to me and asked to see my boarding pass (which was scanned when I got onto the plane.) I gave it to her and she never returned it to me. I get an EMAIL while in Atlanta, saying my seat on the flight was canceled because I was a NO SHOW on the 27th to go down to Atlanta. I had the receipt of my seat upgrade, my receipt for the checked luggage, and the tag on the luggage. I called United who said I wasn't on the plane. After a long conversation, she said she fixed it. I get to the Atlanta airport on 10/31, and I was not in the system. I had to get a supervisor and they said my seat was gone and I may not be able to get back to NJ that day. After the agent called United Headquarters, they finally got me on the plane. I was told once again I should check my luggage and shelled out another $25. I then get to the gate, and the agent at the gate was asking for 10-20 people to check their luggage for FREE. That was it for me. I will not fly United again, and have already requested that my Executive Admin's not use United and use other airlines when they book business trips because I would hate for anyone to have to go through what I did. I am 44, have been flying since I was 5, and have never had anything like this happen and don't want it to happen to anyone else I know. I was disgusted by the whole situation."

Multiple announcements made about keeping the boarding lanes clear and roller bags needing to be checked though some space in the overheads remained available. A full flight in the same plane from Denver seems to have plenty of overhead space, but a full plane leaving Atlanta runs out early?"
Contra: "In general, all the crew and counter people are not able to say "good morning" or smile, besides a delayed flight made a really bad experience"
Pro: "On time, even arrived early. Nice, clean plane. Good experience."

Contra: "Not enough space to sit at the gate. There's been a trend lately to start checking all carry on bags due to space, but then you get on the plane and there's PLENTY of overhead space for your carry on."

Contra: "There are great entertainment options for in flight viewing, but there is no warning ahead of time that additional applications have to be downloaded in order to use them. At 30,000 feet it is impossible without paying for wifi. Also, I was actually looking forward to the little snack sized peanuts. Instead, you're given a salty trail mixed something that's seasoned very heavily. It just made me want to sneak water from the drink cart rather than curbing my hunger."
Pro: "you guys have tvs in the headrest and its spacious in the seating area. you all treated me way better than spirit airlines!"
Contra: "I had asked for help for when we landed in Houston to get to my conecting flight. The attendant was nice enought to arrange it, but when we landed and I introduced myself to the person with the wheelchair, he made me feel bad enough to walk to my conecting flight. Anyone traveling, paying for the services of the airlines should not be mafe to feel ashamed to ask for help."

Contra: "Once we arrived Ohara airport this went from bad to worse. The plane arrived late and the we sat in the airplane for over 2hours because of repairs being made. I feel like the crew cold have been more forthcoming about what was happening it took at least .30min before we were told anything. After sitting on the plane for over 1 hours they finally move us to a new plane to board all over again it was very unorganized ."
