Pro: "I didn’t get the chance to experience the seats because I didn’t get to be on the flight due to a huge mistake of a Lufthansa employee"

Contra: "Flight was delayed in Frankfurt due to technical issues. That was fixed, but ended up missing the flight to Minneapolis. Lufthansa provided vouchers to hotel and shuttle to the hotel (holiday inn express) and back to the airport. We stood out in the cold for 45 mins but the shuttle did not show up. Ended up taking Uber to the hotel only to find out their shuttle service does not start in the morning before 5:30 am. They booked me on a 6 am flight with 5:45 boarding time. The hotel scheduled a taxi to pick me up at 3:30 am to make back to the airport on time. I ended up spending $70 and I’m totally exhausted. I wished I just stayed at the airport. Not to mention the quality of the hotel accommodations is less than average. Very disappointed with how this whole situation was managed."

For instance indicate the order of boarding, time until boarding, and place where the passengers from rows 50-70 should form ia line..."

Contra: "My flight was cancelled due to the pilots' strike. I only learned about this when I attempted online check in. Lufthansa never attempted to notify me. Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

I was assigned last row and middle seat, I could not change seat when there were other seats available at check-in. United would not let agents change either. Maybe kayak related? Contra: "It was required to check in prior to arrival to airport to avoid a fee. I did not have internet access still I arrived. I had to pay 55 euro for a simple check in. Not fair to folks who do not use data for internet nor WiFi. A email could be sent 72 hours but that does not mean people check all emails or they even have access to the web. It’s not a fair or smart business move, I will not book with them again."

Contra: "All the process was tedious. If you dont print your boarding pass before hand, be ready to pay about $25 a piece for them to "print" it. (not even printed, is handwritten). Between other things. Not enough characters left to tell everything. Overall, a terrible airline."

Card payment on board was disabled. Payment in the currency of the departing country was impossible."

Contra: "I've never met a more unprofessional individual in any line of work than the Ryanair gate agent boarding our flight in Rome. She was extremely rude to everyone and even berated several passengers, including those who didn't speak English. Multiple passengers who witnessed this asked for her name so that they could report her to the airline... she refused to give it. Such conduct should not be tolerated by any company, but is especially poor form for one like an airline in the customer service business. I'll make every effort to avoid Ryanair in the future just because of her."

Contra: "Firstly, there were no sandwiches (hot or cold) available on a late afternoon flight, so the remaining food options were poor. Secondly, my £7 Gin and Tonic that I'd hardly touched slid right off the frankly useless trays and into my lap. The flight attendant literally threw me a few paper towels to help. I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."

But why did I have to check in online then stand in line to be told to stand in a second line to pay for my bag only to stand in the same line again to actually do the check in? Why? When it was done I asked the agent where to go to find the gate and he only waived on the next customer. I didn't seem to be worth his attention."

Contra: "You charged me an extra 150 Euro because I did not receive your e mail and could not register on line my flight. I complained at Airport in Greece and no one would assist me. I am writing the NY Times and Washington Post about your strategy to take extra $ from first time flyers of your airline. Shamfull !!!! Contra: "This is the worst airline I have ever flown and I have been flying a long time. It was hot, cramped, both flights were late and they had us sitting on the plane. And, it really is not as cheap as it first appears with all the extra feeds."

Once I checked in for my flights, I was never given an opportunity to print out my boarding passes which created myself and 5 friends to pay 18 euros to print the boarding passes out at the airport. The "boarding pass" button didn't even work. The gate agent was not friendly at all and wasn't helpful. I tried calling Ryanair to dispute the boarding pass charge and their customer service was even worse. I will NEVER take Ryanair again."

The seats were very uncomfortable and wouldn't tilt back at all. We were hungry because we had waited for 2+ hours and we were not provided with any food onboard. Not a fun flight."

Contra: "Fees for everything make value with this airline a challenge. Cramped seats."
