The airport at Bucharest is a nightmare. Rude agents at the Delta partners desks and no directions for finding the correct place to go. Boarding at Amsterdam took over one and one half hours by the time we were sent through three security lines at the gate. No explanation for why we were herded through one line and then sent to another and then finally through another security procedure where they wiped us down for something. Atlanta was probably normal for there. All three legs of the flight were late but I did make it home after a very frustrating and exhausting 24 hours. At this moment I feel as if I will never go anywhere again,.
More meals in flight, one is not enough for an 8hr flight
I enjoyed the entertainment but the snacks could have been more wider.
An international flight with a chicken sandwich and fruit is low quality. In comparison, Avianca provided a gourmet meal and a Salvatore Farragamo flight gift with lotions, eye covers, ear plugs, pen, and tissue.
KLM flight sucks! Not very active about telling passengers to put in their mask over the nose. 🙄
All 8f rhe main dishes in business class had cumin or other sharp spices which I can not tolerate

At one point a Delta employee announced over the plane's PA system that we'd be getting vouchers to compensate us for this absurd delay, but there was no explanation of how to claim those vouchers."

Went to Delta's website, entered my ticket number and card number but I was not in the system as I was given all WestJet info (not Delta's). Luckily the baggage check in people figured it all out."

What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

Contra: "It was a really rainy day and we all had to get on shuttles to get to our plane. Once we reached the plane, the crew should have facilitated an orderly boarding through both doors rather than one. This was also a pretty empty flight and other passengers were utilizing their assigned seat as well as a whole other row and calling it theirs just because they set something on one seat. It didn't seem right that some of us had to stay in our little crowded area while others used up 4 seats and I don't mean for laying down."

Plus, my back was killing me by the end of the short flight- and the long flight from Europe to the US was hard. It was pretty much knocking elbows with the passenger next to me when eating. And mind you- no passenger in my row as any larger than the average person. The seat recline was fine and marginally helpful in relieving back strain- except it did put you in the lap of the passenger behind you. The passenger across the aisle from me shoved the seat in front of her and told the passenger in front of her he could NOT recline. The passenger next to her (I assume her husband) joined in with the shoving. I finally felt a need to intervene and calm them down as it began to escalate- and I did want the flight to continue. Note- while I think the passengers shoving the seat were a bit rude- the crowded nature of the seating with the recline was hard, so I understand. But the person in front had a reason (and a NEED given the discomfort) to lean his seat back. The seats were simply too uncomfortable to keep them upright. I helped them find a recline for both passengers that was reasonably okay. I also tried to get my recline somewhere between comfortable for me (impossible) and reasonable in space for the person behind me, This is an airline problem. And when people wonder about the rise in passenger rage... this cramming in is it. I had to use Austrian because of a last minute need to book a flight- given the inability to relax even a little and the residual back and leg pain ... thus my ability to immediately jump into work during a busy work and travel schedule means that I will definitely not take this airline again. If you are shorter than 5' 5 and weigh about 100 lbs- this might be okay. Otherwise, expect to be a lot of rats shoved in a cage."

And this is not the first time hearing same story, Air France definitely needs to disinfect the plane more thoroughly. Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!"
Contra: "I think I caught a stomach bug on one of the 3 legs of this route. More likely on last 2, i.e. Mumbai to RDU, as I fell sick almost 10-12 hrs after my last flight meal."

Pro: "The crew was very comfortable speaking two languages and friendly. They also had air conditioning! This was great because it was strangely hot in Paris and we were sweating profusely. And our last air france experience we were so hot and it was aweful. Even though it was like an hour and a half flight they still served us sandwiches ,really good."

Pro: "I was too tired to stay awake so I slept most of the flight. The ground crew at the checking booth was kind enough to provide me with an aisle seat to accommodate my long legs, from which I suffer if I would sit in a middle seat."

You need a ticketing agent in EDI. I was stuck there for 12 hours.
Contra: "I booked and paid for special seats (last row in one of the cabins ) but they changed my seats as they changed the plane!"
Pro: "Wonderful to fly on a small airline that still believes in service - a free cup of coffee and a Tunnocks biscuit - whereas many larger airlines charge for coffee etc."
Contra: "BA is löst. This whole experience for a first class flight was a joke. SF no Lounge, food terrible, london lounge max BC level. LH 2x better, they need change"

Contra: "Crowded cabin, uncomfortable seat pitch, anarchic boarding (even for Club), lousy food and that ghastly safety video."
Pro: "The check in process was easy and straightforward but we were in the front of the line--which was very long. The lady who checked us in was very nice and pleasant and she was there for boarding as well. This process was very smooth for us."
Contra: "No water available unless you paid for it --same true of coffee and they only take credit cards. Was not able to request seats early and ended up next to the bathroom and lots of people standing in my personal space and the smell is overwhelming--the chemical smell."
Pro: "The way the crew interacts with passengers one has the feeing that we were all one big family! Special hats off to Freedy who worked on this flight on my way to Canada and was very interactive with us , he made us felt really welcoming , as long as he has to give us his service , Staff keep up the good work. All of you did a fantastic job . Pilot did a great job a few pot holes that was out of his control but all in all a great flight"

The captain frequently gave us updates and even walked around the plane to answer our questions! Superior customer service..."
Contra: "My biggest complaint was that there was no AC while we were stuck for almost one hour on plane! BA should ensure that their planes are properly prepared for similar situations"
Pro: "I think people could entertain themselves but to me it is deplorable to not offer at least complementary water. Complementary coffee would be a nice touch too but at least water."

Contra: "My in flight entertainment was broken and that us quite a disadvantage on a 12 hour flight. I was told it was because the airplane was "very old" which whilst it may be true it is not something I particularly want to hear. I was also told that as the flight was full I could only move seats if someone wanted to swap. I'm not sure if the flight attendant was expecting me to stand up and make a public request?!"
Pro: "Great value for the money, nicely priced round trip. Very well scheduled flights, good connections, easy to travel."
Contra: "Little legroom on long flights, no wi fi on board overseas flights, even for purchase. No food available on Europe international flights, but for purchase."
Pro: "Got Home day later , slept on airport floor. Meal was poor , no more vegetarian food left . Wrap was given with chicken & maynosie where as Asian / Hindu veg meal was ordered ."

Particularly at the airport, and the planes are just okay. nothing was free, not even a soda!!! they charged the two ladies next to me for tea!!!! water, a cup and a teabag, how much could this possibly cost?? the plane was nasty and dirty. when the seatback tray was lowered, the seat back was splashed and dirty. yuck!!!"
Pro: "Bigger plane than I was expecting. Had I known that I would have upgraded to a better seat. I was just expecting a tiny puddle jumper so this was a nice surprise. Crew were nice, offered food/drinks but I didn't want to buy any."
Contra: "The plane had inseat screens but they said that licensing agreements prevented them from offering any video, games or news selections on a 2.5hr flight. The Pilot said he would turn on the in-flight navigator but it never did work, so I'm not sure what happened there. No internet connection in their fleet yet either. Clearly, this is a first world problem and I would still fly BA. But it's also 2017 and these features aren't "new"; I remember having in-flight entertainment back in the early 2000's on Delta flights in the US, so I'm not sure why it's taking more premium airlines so long to catch up."

Contra: "Method of boarding, with a mass of economy passengers boarding st once at the end. I NEVER get my preferred seat (= window), and object to being charged extra to select a seat (unlike other airlines I use more frequently nowadays). Crowded economy section, with little legroom, passengers squashing bags at feet, etc."
