Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

I understand I have traveled on the economy class but shouldn't make a difference how you treat the travelers. The pillows were dirty!!!!! Not only one, because I have asked for more......most of them! It is disgusting! Something must have been wrong with the headphones because the volume was on max when i tried to watch the move but barely could hear anything. I have flew with Lufthansa most of the time and in the future will chose them. Very disappointing that sooo many little things are interrupting a vacation."

Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Contra: "Train your ground crew. Our luggage was not placed on our flight from Paris to Amsterdam and were sent to Amsterdam on separate planes. My husband’s medication was in his bag. This was a great inconvenience for us. Never again on Air Canada. I suggest you explore the baggage process used by Delta."

Contra: "Crew forced me to change my upgraded comfort seat to accommodate a 12 year old who they knew was going to be airsick. So I spent the first half of the flight next to a vomiting girl. Only after I asked to file a complaint, they allowed me one of two empty seats in premium. Terrible customer service."

Pro: "That we were heading home. Nice seats. Good food. Lots of entertainment choices. Power plugs ( USB and European power) were appreciated. Wine as a choice with meal was appreciated and brandy after the meal."
Contra: "Some of the shows and movies were a bit 'trashy'. Long flight. I was in the middle seat next to an inattentive octanegarian who was nice but kept calling the flight crew to fix her mess up of the video system. No air controls on this plane - so it was overly warm. 10 hours of overly warm makes for a stinky passenger. Oof."

Contra: "Staff where so unhelpful that I missed my flight and then refused to offer any assistance as to how I could remedy this situation. This cost me over €180 which is a weeks food and stay for me. Don't fly with these guys or with air Croatia."

Pro: "Missed connection and it was airport not Delta that was the problem. Not a good way to start a vacation. Rating is for the Paris Airport, not the flight crew or Air France employees. Still sitting in the airport when we should be at our destination."
Contra: "Hundreds of people missed their flights. Delta had us into Paris with an hour and a half to get to connecting flight. Missed flight due to huge delay in passport approval. They seemed completely unprepared."

Pro: "Friendly people on board"
Contra: "Crew was not very responsive. It would take over 45 minutes for them to respond to a customer call. Plane landed and we were kept on runway for 1.15 hours and crew only checked in with us twice during that time. People were panicking regarding missing their connections"

Pro: "Not much."
Contra: "It was one problem after another during check in. And it was difficult to find help in English so I couldn't really tell what was going on. In the end I was tucking to get checked in because they were insisting I use a kiosk but I was telling them that the kiosk said to see an attendee. It was not efficient and I felt like a burden asking for help when there was nothing else I could do on my own."

Pro: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Contra: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

Pro: "The boarding process was smooth and the crew friendly. Flight ran on time."
Contra: "Unloading the baggage took over 90 minutes, and there was no explanation for the delay and nobody from Air France in sight on the ground in Boston."

There was plenty of room, I had breakable stuff in my luggage, didn´t get the chance to choose. No entertainment AT ALL. Confort: no leg space at all. Not an AirFrance plane, subcontracted. Lousy food."

Pro: "Other crew members were very polite to us, in particular a younger tall woman."
Contra: "2 crew members, one named Terri were quite rude and short with us. I even heard her say she was ready to get off the flight. She also asked everyone around me if they liked their flight but did not ask me. She basically threw my coffee condiments at me and dismissed my concerns about the food. I was unsure if the fruit was expired and she quickly dismissed my question without any real explanation."

"I would like my refund because I was never given a chance to use the flight. I you need to send me connection to process refund for the whole trip. I booked through you and the trip was never allowed to continue. Please assist me get my refund to settle and close this chapter."

Contra: "My flight Rome to London - I was very surprised to learn we had to buy water, tea or coffee. To give it to your passengers is the least you could do. We didn’t travel for free. This was the very first time I have ever been told, as your partner Aer Lingusdid as wel, that I needed to pay for water."

Pro: "Wonderful to fly on a small airline that still believes in service - a free cup of coffee and a Tunnocks biscuit - whereas many larger airlines charge for coffee etc."

Contra: "flight was delayed about 2 hours. First hour waited in the plane. Why they've boarded us if we were not able to take off and had to wait in the aircraft? Pro: "Virtually nothing, even in Club Europe."
Contra: "Crowded cabin, uncomfortable seat pitch, anarchic boarding (even for Club), lousy food and that ghastly safety video."

Pro: "The check in process was easy and straightforward but we were in the front of the line--which was very long. The lady who checked us in was very nice and pleasant and she was there for boarding as well. This process was very smooth for us."
Contra: "No water available unless you paid for it --same true of coffee and they only take credit cards. Was not able to request seats early and ended up next to the bathroom and lots of people standing in my personal space and the smell is overwhelming--the chemical smell."

Pro: "Flew business, so the attention was good."
Contra: "Flight kept being delayed and BA staff at BA Lounge would not help with getting updates on flights. They would only refer frequent flyer or business/first class passengers to view flight screen which was outdated. Food was removed 15 minutes prior to the time that food service is done. Most of us were not prepared for the very delayed flight and most restaurants had closed in the airport and flight crew waited too long to announce cancellation of flight. There was no organization on how the cancellation was planned and no special attention for business or emerald customers. Very disappointing and unorganized."

Contra: "My flight from Venice was almost 2 hours late leaving. I missed my connecting flight to Baltimore and was removed from the list even though the Baltimore flight left about 15 minutes late. I had 25 minutes to make it to my connecting flight but was already removed. Airline said I had to be through security within 35 minutes of the flight. I could not get a flight out until the next day."

Contra: "Log delays"

Contra: "It was terrible cold. We received no free food or drinks."

Pro: "I think people could entertain themselves but to me it is deplorable to not offer at least complementary water. Complementary coffee would be a nice touch too but at least water."

Pro: "Great value for the money, nicely priced round trip. Very well scheduled flights, good connections, easy to travel."
Contra: "Little legroom on long flights, no wi fi on board overseas flights, even for purchase. No food available on Europe international flights, but for purchase."

Pro: "Entertainment is pretty good, a nice selection to choose from. The food has improved since last year with their new menu. Crew were pleasant enough."
Contra: "I paid for an extra leg room seat, which for me was in front of the bulkhead. However, I think this caused more discomfort than comfort. There is no gap under the bulkhead to put your feet, so although you don’t get a seat in front of you leaning back, there isn’t enough room to straighten your legs out which on a 12 hour flight isn’t comfortable."

Pro: "I love the fact that I was able to find a good price for the tickets...JUST THAO"
Contra: "The fact that the flight was delayed and they didn’t tell about it until 1.30-2 hours before leaving...and that because we pressured them other wise they wouldn’t even bother to announce us. So sorry you guys don’t have another rating UNDER POOR BECAUSE I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE IT TO YOU...."

Pro: "I have no complaints about the flight. It was a full flight but we tooked off in time and food/ drinks service was prompt. Unfortunately I left my phone on the flight and I have not got it back yet, a full week later."

Contra: "It is difficult to get in and out of chair. I wish the chair handle would be moved up . Every time I needed to go to bathroom , I hurt myself."

Pro: "Liked the big 380 airbus. The food and entertainment was great on the long distance flight. The Airbus seats are more comfortable than others."
Contra: "2 hour delay because they said they didn't have the equipment to back the plane out of the maintenance hanger. Really? - at one of the big airports of Europe, they didn't have a tug vehicle."

Contra: "Flight attendant named IGOR skipped me when serving drinks and food. But then again when he he offered coffee, he again skipped my wife who was beside me. When I asked for coffee for my wife and that then again skipped us, he just responded, sarcastically, "Really?, really?" What a fool!"

Pro: "Nonstop flight to London from Orlando"
Contra: "My special meal request was ignored on both my outbound and return flight. The plane was dirty and my seat was worn. The technology on both flights was anequated and in much need of updating."

Contra: "Security - I was screened and it was uncomfortable and they kept the lights on for a while overnight"

Pro: "good meals, good seats, adequate in flight entertainment - this was part of a voyage all the way around the planet starting and ending in san jose costa rica - 5 different airlines and 8 different planes - eva was best but brittish air and iberia were a close second"
Contra: "even though i was at the airport almost 5 hours before the flight - the check in process left me with less than an hour by the time i got through the line twice and then through all the security points - they waited way to late to begin checkin - my kiosk check in was a waste of time since they did the same thing at the window - however, and fortunately for us - they did give us boarding passes for all three legs of the journey whereas the kiosk only gave two - Kuala Lumpur, London and Madrid - because my companion was traveling with a philippines passport we needed to stay airside at all three stops"

Contra: "I think it's a real shame that BA have gone budget and no longer offer complimentary food on their shorter haul flights. At least they're using M&S though."

Contra: "No individual entertainment screens, my 6"2' husband had a large metal box under the seat in front of him and he couldn't extend his legs, the food was terrible, the staff wasn't unfriendly but was not warm and welcoming. This flight was not operated by British airways. It was operated by American Airlines, I much prefer Briti"
