Contra: "(1) Was about to miss flight because originally my flight booking was from Benazir International Airport Islamabad but t the time of flight I boarded from a different and new airport in Islamabad which had become operational in Islamabad in the last week of April 2018 . My flight was on 10th May 2018 from Islamabad to Doha to Chicago but neither my online booking site ( Kayak ) not Qatar Airways sent any notification that my Boarding was changed from Banzir International Airport to the newer, bigger airport. Consequently , on the day of flight, I went to check in and board from the Bnazir International Airport but upon reaching the airport I was told that the airport was no more in operation. I was surprised to hear that all flights were to be from the newer airport. By the time I rerouted my taxi to the new airport I was already late for my flight but fortunately the flight from Islamabad to Doha, Qatar was delayed and I made it to the boarding time and flew to Doha , Qatar and then to Chicago."

Contra: "The legroom was a problem. Seats are kind of narrow, and then, with the lack of legroom it’s somewhat challenging to shift your legs, especially when the seat in front of you goes back! I felt like the person was almost in my lap. My cup even got crunched. I think my biggest issue, though, lay in how I was treated after paying $127.00 to obtain a day pass for the lounge each way. For my inbound flight my purse was branded with an “economy” class luggage type tag, and I was made to feel as though I was trying to sneak in. I had to show my boarding pass a number of times to employees after asking for the location of the lounge in order to be directed there, and then my credentials were examined as though I was trying to get into Fort Knox. Upon arrival at the desk, I was somewhat tersely informed that I had 6 hours. I went out of my way a bit in order to fly Qatar, which is supposed to be so wonderful, and I was underwhelmed. I’ve had better experiences on Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines."

Initially charged $1000 for 3 tickets for modification of return trip - confirmed the same and tickets issued (i'm fine with this). But, after i made arrangements for new date, I got a call saying calculation error and asked to pay another $500 leaving me no choices. How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly in Qatar for food....."

Contra: "I had a 22 hour layover. On the website, Turkish Airlines advertises they cover hotel rooms for anyone with a layover exceeding 15 hours. However, it's impossible to get a e-visa to allow Americans to leave the airport to take advantage of this. There is one hotel inside the airport, however it's extremely expensive and booked well in advance. While the service was decent on the plane, inside the airport the TA employee's were very rude and not at all helpful. So be prepared to spend the night on the floor or an uncomfortable bench. Won't fly on this airline ever again."

The customer service staff both at the lounge and the transfer desk were inept and rude and did not want to help. I shudder to think how economy passengers are treated."

Pro: "If you are flying Turkish from the US or from Istanbul to the US or other far away destination, for the love of God, do not fly on the B777-300. Did that twice from Chicago to Istanbul and back, and the seats in economy are a real killer....very tight and uncomfortable. On the other hand, if you have a choice of Turkish aircrafts b777 vs AB330-300, you will do yourself a favor by selecting a flight on an AB330-300. Slighter smaller plane then the 777 but a little more comfortable in coach. So you are warned......and by the way, you will select a two seater combination rather than being stuck in the middle.....If you are stuck in the middle, always do your best to get at least an isle seat."

When finally the captain says 'boarding completed' aaand we wait another 30 minutes without explanation. Finally after one hour from our initial departure time we departed. In total 2 hours waiting in the plane, no water because it took the crew another hour to prepare to serve drinks! Flight was supposed to leave at 16:50, we got water around 19:00. Shame! Food is horrible, service is bad! We landed 2 hours later then we were supposed to. It seems that being late and not give explanations it's something that it's characteristic for polish airlines!"

Further, I found out that if I had indicated that I had luggage 3 days prior to checkin, I would have only been charged $92 saving me $."

Pro: "Uma antiga queixa minha era o tratamento dispensado pela tripulação da TAP aos passageiros. Muitas vezes faziam o seu serviço sem paciência e até mesmo de forma rude. Nos meus últimos 3 vôos pela TAP, a tripulação vem se mostrando muito mais cordial e até mesmo divertida, sendo bastante simpática. Ainda pode melhorar? Claro que sim, mas agora não tenho mais "medo" de pedir um copo d'água a mais para os comissários."
Contra: "Sei que a tendência dos vôos low cost é não oferecer muito conforto aos passageiros, mas o espaço entre as cadeiras está ridículo até mesmo para pessoas com estatura mediana como eu (1,80 m). A poltrona, apesar de não reclinar, era até confortável, mas os meu joelhos ficaram espremidos pela poltrona da frente. Sem contar que, para um vôo de 3h, deveria ser disponibilizado algum entretenimento, mesmo que através do wifi (como já fazem as cias. brasileiras - se no Brasil já fazem, qualquer país do mundo é capaz de fazer!)"

Pro: "The crew was very nice, we boarded on time and landed a bit early which was nice. We recieved little snack packs that had a sandwich and a granola bar or fruit snacks and a juice."
Contra: "The seats were not very comfortable to sleep on for 6 hours as they didn't recline back too much but that is to be expected in 2nd class seats."

Contra: "This was the worst flight I've ever experienced. There was an incessant, loud high-pitched buzzing noise for the entire duration of the flight (we were seated in the very back row so it was particularly loud for us, but others further up said it was bad for them too). Also, we had straight turbulence for over two hours. I've never gotten sick on a plane before, and my husband never gets motion sickness, but we both threw up (and I think several others did, too). I don't blame the crew for any of this, as I know most, if not all, of it was out of their control. However, I would be very nervous to flight TAP again due to this experience."

They keeping on changing the delayed time so it end up being nearly two hours before we got on the plane. I was very disappointed that we didn't get where we needed to be on time. Our hour and 45 minute flight end up just wasting time waiting for the plane. They could of at least refund our check in bag fee for the inconvenient."
