We waited standing with our carryons for over 45minutes. Nobody knew what was happening or when they will start boarding. Naturally, when we finally got on board people where blocking the aisle because Aegean didn’t bother to board from back to front as it is usually done. The flight attendants were sweet but their English was almost unintelligible. My brother works and I worked for major airlines and have never seen anything so disorganized and unprofessional."

That’s probably how they “beat” their competitors’ prices. If you include the fees in your calculation, this might still be a good option, but make sure that you read the fine print, or be prepared to pay as “extra” what many airlines offer as basic."

Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

They sent me six emails (SIX. 6) from the moment I bought the tickets until the departure day, announcing flight departure modification times. let that sink in; 6 messages announcing new hours. 2. this morning‘s flight from Chania lasted 20 minutes more than previously announced and than the Bucharest to Chania flight one week ago. 3. my entire row was not asked whether we needed anything from the shopping cart. as a result, I approached a steward later on and he said I should go by myself (?!?!!!😂🤦🏼♀️) to pick up what I wanted from the back of the plane, but that I should hurry because we would be landing in 55 minutes😂😂. we obviously didn’t🤦🏼♀️ and apparently he was also very sure I would not be able to finish my water in that amount of time. The plane wasn’t full and the cabin crew consisted of four persons. I am absolutely positive that had they been working for a different airline on a higher pay, they wouldn’t have made me do their job myself lol. 4. another interesting fact is the pointlessness of turning on the AC before landing. it’s obviously not a question of airing the closed space of the plane, since people are still in it, obviously. then why on earth would one take the conscious m decision of making all those people freeze because you want to have the AC on 16° while landing, why?!?! 5. is anybody else going mad because there are no pockets on the back of the chairs on these old sorry-ass blue air planes?😳😳😳 there are just some very rigid ones able to fit just their catalog, paper bag and safety instructions. if you have a book or a cup you will simply hold it in your hand until forever lol. 6. funnily enough, a friend had told me prior that she flew with them eight times. Three were canceled and five had delays of more than six hours😳😳😳😳😳. 7. it took blue air two years to refund her the money for her canceled flights. 8. Other fun fact, it turns out, is that they have the world’s fourth oldest aircraft. 9. and another one: their oldest plane is about 17 years old. 10. what’s also funny (as in stupid) is that they charge you €100 for two bags and you’re not able to pay for them using three different cards that work on other websites and using two different browsers and also a phone. beat this!! 11. and the final points being that they send you annoying emails up to the very last minute before flying urging you to add services that you already bought😅. in my case, when I tried to do the check-in, I received the clear message that online check-in is not available for that flight on both my laptop and phone. Contra: "Upon arrival to the airport, I was pressurized by the "UP" check-in desk staff to send my carry-on to the plane's hold because "the flight is packed and we prefer that you do so". I didn't argue, but this just gives an overall bad impression and certainly does not shed positive light on the company's competence and professionalism. The flight itself was delayed because of insufficient carry-on space in the upper compartments - carry-ons had to be taken off to the hold - something that created a noticeable delay, add to that the dismay of many irked passengers and the expected complaining and hopeless pleas to the flight attendants. The plane took off 20+ minutes late. The fact that this is "low cost" is no justification at all for such a chaos."

Contra: "I don't know how El Al gets away with serving people their so-called nightly "meal". They have the audacity to tell passengers it's a "tapas" meal. Tapas has nothing to do with it. You can choose between tuna salad (tuna drowned in mayo with mostly peppers) or chicken with tahini (mostly peppers again, with two small cubes of chicken drowned in tahini). They give you this with a small salad, pita and industrial hummus which is probably the best thing about this meal. Having being burned by this meal last time - they ran out and I got a "glatt kosher" meal - I took the vegetarian option, which was roasted peppers, salad made from 80% lettuce, 20% peppers and no dressing and an inedible cookie. I am allergic to peppers. There is no entertainment to speak of, because El Al sees no reason to update its planes, and there is no personal entertainment system. You can download an app to your phone called "Dream Stream", and stream some options from El Al, but then you have no where to charge your phone, so what's the point? The seats are ridiculously close together, and if someone leans back you really can't eat. Finally, I have no idea why they do this - but El Al flights from Europe don't attach to the terminal via ramp. You get out of the plane on a staircase, in the middle of the night, in the pouring rain, and then have to take a bus to the terminal. It's not like all ramps are busy at 4AM..."

Luggage took very long time to get out."

Contra: "Someone on the previous flight threw up in my seat, it was never cleaned, it just soaked in. Flight crew swapped out the cover after 10 min of arguing with them but it stunk horribly. Mid way thru the flight I got up and when I lifted the seat belt I realized there was more vomit in the latch. No power adapters. Movies were super old and my screen was broken so I couldn't watch anyway. Music loop included Dolly Parton!"
Zborul a avut intarziere la plecare iar cand a aterizat am asteptat sa vina autobuzul sa putem cobori din avion. Totul a fost groaznic decand am plecat din Buc catre Roma si inapoi. Nu ma asteptam sa fie atat de slab serviciile si timpul de asteptare atat de mare cu intarzieri. In plus sunt multe cerinte sa poti zbura: masca FFP2 iar echipajul nu are asa ceva dar noi suntem obligati sa avem, se cere test pcr sau antigen pt cei vaccinati, nu e normal asa ceva. Asta inseamna sa ne faceti pe noi cei vaccinati niste prosti pt ca ne-am vaccinat. Urat din artea voastra. Bani dati aiurea pt ca nu ne-a mai cerut nimeni asa ceva. O abusurditate. Ar trebuii sa ne dati banii inapoi, bani cheltuiti degeaba fiind vaccinati cu buster!!!!! Am fost taxati 40 euro pt 3 check-inuri pt ca nu am facut check in cu 3 ore inainte de zbor deoarece aplicatia nu a mers. Am platit pt ca serviciile voastre nu merg si sunt proaste. Cei care călătoresc alături de oameni cu probleme, viitoare mămici, etc så fie cît se poate de înțelegători și comunicativi! Niciodată nu știi unde te duce viața!
O mică parte din călători ar putea încerca så fie mai ascultători și disciplinați. Nu îi costă nimic și nici nu este imposibil!
Organizare execrabila! Nu a existat niciun fel de distanțare!!!
The one thing I must say is that the flight wasn't full at all, and in this case, I'm really unsure why they wouldn't sit people farther from each other.

You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."
Pro: "I was at the gate. Before the door to enter the airplane. The Hungarian crew wasn’t telling me that they are closing the gate or going to close it. They completely ignore me and let me stand there and at the end I see the door close in front of me, 2 meter from me and they told me I mised flight."
Contra: "I lost my money and I had to buy new flight with other company. Wizzair crew at budapest was very rude and didn’t take responsibility for the mistake they did. They could just say they are closing the door but nobody did. 2 meters from me and after I passed all security they ignored me completely."
Pro: "One of the very rare on-time, efficient and smooth flights with Wizzair. Check-in was fairly quick and incident-free, despite some of the other passengers reporting problems with the procedures and the staff. Boarding was quick and the flight actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled."
Contra: "As usual, the cabin crew is adequately polite, but not overly friendly, the food & beverage range is mediocre and overpriced at best and the entertainment is virtually non-existent."

Contra: "I came to the airport on 17:30 but The Checkin counter were open too late, after 1800. There was only 1 staff member in the counter. The lines were long and crouded . After we finished our check in and sent the luggage we went to the gate. There they realized that some of the printed bourding passes are not o k. The attendant in the counter did not checked it and sent us to the gate. We had to go back to the counter but the flight was closed already. We called the staff and after all we had to pay 100 euro to the counter to print the correct bourding passes and then to rush to the aircraft. If Ryan air put enough staff in the counters it wouldn’t happen. We almost miss the flight and it caused us a big inconvenous."
Pro: "That the place reached safetly to its destination"
Contra: "Rome Line to checkin started at the entrance of the airport with no Ground staff attention or clear line marked people were fighting and cutting each other . Check in process approved our luggage for hand cary as we paid for it in advance. In the gate they suddenly decided the luggage was 1 cm larger then agreed, refused to bring a measurement tape and charged us 50 Euro in addition to send the luggae in the plane rather than hand carry. Need less to say that in the flight to Rome our luggage was approved for hand carry so clearly Rome staff were into making money.. Planes were late to take off and 1 hour late to land (that from a total of a 3 hour flight ) although not announced . In summary ground staff experience was awaful and made us decide to not fly with Ryanair air again"
Pro: "It arrived to its destination."
Contra: "Extremely long lines from start to end (bag drop off, security, passports, line to boarding etc), plenty of long walks from one line to the other. Everything cost extra charges, we had to add a non négligeable amount, in order to be seated with the kids, to have our boarding pass printed. A tiny bottle of water cost 3€. No entertainment whatsoever. Seats are uncomfortable."

Contra: "It was required to check in prior to arrival to airport to avoid a fee. I did not have internet access still I arrived. I had to pay 55 euro for a simple check in. Not fair to folks who do not use data for internet nor WiFi. A email could be sent 72 hours but that does not mean people check all emails or they even have access to the web. It’s not a fair or smart business move, I will not book with them again."

Contra: "We got the feeling that the price is low but the company will do all it takes to FAIL the customer and make him pay more. For example, the customer must check in online. if not done properly the cost is about 100 euro more, AND the online check in procedure is not working that well, you need to press buttons several times in order for it to work (and I have a good phone), and if you give up in the middle it will cost you. More on that we did a mistake and did not purchase luggage for the way back, when we went to the desk to buy it (after standing more than 2 hours in the check in), we were told to pay 40 euros, where the price is 23 if paid online. we asked to talk to a manager and get the regular price for the suitcase, the cashier said "no problem i can call him, but then you will miss the flight..." and in the meantime there were still lots of people in the check in line... The service is very slow and not pleasant, and the crew always give you the feeling you are not ok. I understand the price is low and this is a lo cost flight, but this should not happen no matter what is the price."

Contra: "Ryanair acted like a dust Stucker of money. Not only on the way forward they forbidded only flights from Israel (!) to bring any hand luggage at all without purchasing the priority boarding, and people were allowed with a small hand bag only (since the priority tickets finished) , but on the way backwards, after the entire airplane bought the priority ticket, the crew of ryanair acted in such a discriminating way and banned people that exceeded the bag check with less than 2 cm! It seems like the crew were determined to collect at many 50euro fines as possible from the passenger because they insisted very impolitly and brutally to measure each luggage from all possible sides, and even the luggage that fitted, they found excuses to fail them. I've rarely experienced such humiliating vision, especially due to the fact that everyone were forced to purchase the extra priority boarding and you'd expect the company to try and keep the customers, not drive them away. I can just say that with all the fines and extra payments requested by them, the total price of the flight was 100euro more expensive than the price of El AL or alitalia, same timing and with a meal and big suitcase included. All this, without mentioning the bad attitude of the crew and the extreme uncomfortability of the chairs (also purchased, obviously). To summarize, this was a very bad choice, with I will not repeat again."
Pro: "There is a lady at the gate before we board the flight from rome (FCO) to tel aviv who is particularly nasty. She scrutinized and had every single person on line put their bag to be measured. She even did that with small back packs!!! Unfortunately for HER nobody had to pay extra for luggage!!! It is really the attitude. i paid a lot of money for my flight as much as a regular fligh neary $400 and yet I was still NOT allowed to take luggage. Its ridiculous!!! Had I booked with a regular airline, I would have paid similar fees and have a bag to put on the plane . Its time that Ryan air stop taking advantage of people and allow some luggage just like everyone else does. It doesn't have to be 50 lb but it can be a few pounds!!!"
