Contra: "This flight was delayed by an awful 8 hours. We were stuck at the airport through the entire morning and missed half our day in Santorini. There was very poor communication between the airline and us so we were utterly frustrated at the experience."

Many of us had a connecting flight with Air Baltic from Riga to Helsinki- which we asked if they will wait for us, the crew member said because the flight was also with Air Baltic, they will wait for us. We got there 10 minutes before take off, and the gate has already closed. Furthermore, we got to the Air Baltic counter, we were given 5Euro meal vouchers even though we will be staying at the Riga airport for 9 hours. Also they gave us terrible customer service attitude, which we definitely do not deserve after being delayed, and causing so much trouble on their behalf. Definitely do not recommend flying with Air Baltic again. I've never been this angry with any air line."

Contra: "bag measure frames in Riga airport used for aB are smaller than in most airports, as a results we were asked to check some bags in at the last moment. we have had connecting flight through Riga with two hand bags. lets call them big and small. judge by yourself: flight, aircraft, small, big ->Riga CS3, on board, on board Riga-> DHC 8-400, on board, check in ->Riga DHC 8-400, on board, on board Riga-> CS3, check in, check in as you see, the same bags on the same aircraft were allowed or disallowed by the same company based on weather one flies to Riga or from it. i believe there is absolutely no purpose for doing last second interruptions of such kind"

AirBaltic refused to compensate for my looses due to thair fault, castomer service is very poor, they took refusal position right away. Air Baltic planes are very old and no air conditioning, avoid air Baltic."

My russian visa is in the passport and updated and quite visible to see on the third page of my passport and being from Grenada I am able to travel to latvia visa free for up to 90 days. I stood there whilst others walked past me and went to the aircraft. that sucked. may 09 2017 at around 9 am."

Contra: "It was cold and I was not dressed for the bus to the aircraft, but instead for the tropics where I had been. The toilet was not centered for stand - up use for men. Thus had to kneel in order to use. This booked by UIA, but the carrier was Air Baltic, which led to some confusion as to which airline to go to for boarding."

Contra: "I tried to check in on my phone and the app did not allow me. The only way was buying lunch in order to move on with the check in process. I decided to get to the counter and the person charged me US$ 35 euros only for checking me in (even though their app had problems to check in). They charged me in total US$ 100 for checking in and checking my luggage. The service was terrible, especially from the person at the counter. In addition to all that, my luggage did not arrive to the final destination and was lost for an entire week. Every time I called the airline, they were charging me per minute even though they were the ones who lost my suitcase."

Contra: "They split me and my wife on porpuse to force me to buy the option to choose my seating. The leg space is tiny and the chairs won't recline so it's super uncomfortable. Flight times are shitty. Te leave early in the morning so you can barely get some sleep at night. Nor on the plane. They don't any serve food or even water and let you dry up. You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."

Check-in was fairly quick and incident-free, despite some of the other passengers reporting problems with the procedures and the staff. Boarding was quick and the flight actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled."

Pro: "Nice clean plane, friendly airline staff (as friendly as they get, we all know how they have that teflon attitude), OK food, I sat between 2 Bulgarian passengers which were very well behaved, one screaming baby nearby (as there always is) and no-one playing football with the back of my seat all the flight (you know who you are - hope someone does it to you), and no-one fidgeting all flight so all in all a good experience."
Contra: "Bit slow in opening the gate for people to get on. They expect to cram you like sardines on a hot staircase with no where to go when there is other people being checked in to board behind you, really stupid and possibly sadistic."

Pro: "Staff aboard the aircraft were very nice and so was the passengers."
Contra: "Bought a ticket two weeks ago to travel to Romania. Didn't have internet to check in, so I went to the airport to check in. When I got there because I was within 3 hours of boarding they had given away my ticket and made me a last priority boarder. I happened to get really lucky otherwise I wouldn't have gotten to fly on a flight I had previously paid for and was on time to."

Contra: "We arrived at a field in Israel with 2 backpacks and did not charge us extra, but on the way back they decided to charge us at the last minute for the same cases we had arrived with. Nothing we said helped and the attitude was cold and hard. The flight was good"

Pro: "Flight attendance service was great and smiley"
Contra: "Nothing much"

Pro: "Actual in-air flying experience was smooth."
Contra: "Due to technical issue with plane, passengers were delayed about 15-20 minutes on the tarmac in a crowded, hot shuttle bus with ineffective air conditioning and almost no fresh air coming in."

Contra: "Despite long delay, there were no announcements by the staff about the delay until we were already almost 40 minutes past our original departure time. No water or food was distributed to the passengers despite the delay. Delay was not wizzair's fault but there was no customer service to speak off."

Pro: "I like the bubbly upbeat attitude of the flight attendants interacting excellently in English and other languages and also how they dealt with an angry passenger."

Pro: "Magazine was pretty good. Staff were smiley and nice."
Contra: "Boarding was announced as last call 5 minutes after the gate was announced. Seats were uncomfortable with little legroom. Even for a value airline."

Pro: "The crue was excellent."
Contra: "i was surprised by the high extra charge we have been requested to pay for the suitcases. Wizz attracts clients by offering low prices. while in fact the price is much higher than with other companies. price paid for the suitcases, 235 eur, is an additional ticket. unbleivable. and no one tells us that the extra fees might be as high as the ticket itself. personnaly, in future, i shall avoid flying with wizz and i shall never recommend this company to anybody!"

Contra: "we didn't get food at all. i purchased a cabin baggage for 40 dollar, and when i went to the check in i paid another 110 euro for checked in baggage although i had only one baggage!!!"

Pro: "The don't say the truth"

Pro: "because Wizzair needs a way to terrorize psdsengers about luggage size. It did not affect me personally, but it is shooting and scary how Wizzair bitches about 1cm oversized bsgs"
Contra: "Wizzair has the worse reputstion ehen it comes to checkin and boarding. People still fly because it is cheap and poor people are willing to take a lot of terror to save a few bucks."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "Ryanair announced that we could postpone the flights without any cost due to corona virus and when I tried to reach them/to change the flight date the change tax was still there."

Contra: "Being on time + quiet fellow passengers"

Pro: "No issues - everything went smoothly"
Contra: "There are no nets on the back of the seat in front of you to put things like water bottles - headphones, books etc."

Pro: "On time flight and decent boarding process (not too much fuss over baggage size and weight)."
Contra: "Seating policy - it’s ridiculous to charge passengers to be seated together, even if they’re flying on the same booking. It only leads to on-board seating “trades” and negotiations to get people to agree to swap seats. Embarrassing!"

Pro: "They denied the me boarding,I want my money back"

Pro: "Although I had a 40 minutes flight, it was really good. The crew were very amiable and fun. All amazing!"

Contra: "We arrived at the airport over 90 minutes before our flight and were never warned we’d be charged a hefty fee if we didn’t check in ahead of time. We did try to check in prior, but there was an error in my confirmation code and it didn’t work. They told us we couldn’t get on our flight, then charged us $487 euros to take a different flight and required us to check all our bags! A total scam and they were extremely rude!!"

Pro: "They were professional and efficient"
Contra: "It was required to check in prior to arrival to airport to avoid a fee. I did not have internet access still I arrived. I had to pay 55 euro for a simple check in. Not fair to folks who do not use data for internet nor WiFi. A email could be sent 72 hours but that does not mean people check all emails or they even have access to the web. It’s not a fair or smart business move, I will not book with them again."

Contra: "Arrived 1.5 hours late at 1:30am"

Pro: "Horrible customer service .. The plane had one and half hour delay and the plane landed so badly that we thought it’s going to crash . I would like to get a refund ."

Contra: "We were scarred because they sounded very strict but the flight left in time and arrived early. Checking was fast and great."

Contra: "The queue to the ground transportation had no order at all."

Contra: "Overcharged for everything. If you need to check a bag or want to sit next to the person you are traveling with, then you are charged fees. The checked bag fee was almost $50. On board, nothing is offered and they try to sell you perfume and other extras. Overall, the boarding was a mess, the staff were not very friendly, and it was not a great experience."

Pro: "I can't think of anything."
Contra: "So many add on expenses, additional 47 Euro for a checked bag, 15 Euro to pick our seat, etc.. Tickets ended up being more expensive than Olympic Air, even though they were more affordable on the surface. We ran 20+ minutes late, Boarding was a zoo. We were told we couldn't take a small back pack on the plan and had to check it, once on board there was more than enough room to put it under my feet. others had the same size bag or bigger."

Contra: "Their website is extremely hard to use. I was unable to pay for my bags online and yet they advertize 25 euros a bag. I was charged 49 euros per bag at the airport.It costs more for your bag than for yourself to fly. I was not the only person in line at the baggage counter who had the same complaint. A family was charged over 300 euros for their luggage and they stated the same complaint that they were unable to pay for their luggage online. They are actually the most expensive way to travel."

Pro: "On time"
Contra: "Not smooth landing"

Contra: "We flew Ryanair from Athens and Santorini. My friend got her phone stolen the day before and had to cancel her credit card. Instead of contacting her or letting her know what was happening, Ryanair cancelled her flight. We got to the airport and they were not understanding and would not let her board, although they could see that her reservation once existed, and they just canceled it without her knowledge. We were forced to board the flight while she waited for another one in Athens."

Pro: "Nothing..."
Contra: "Extort money for no pre boarding. Also, no beverage service on flight. But did roll around cart yo dell stuff. Also, didnt sit eith my wife"

Contra: "The check-in kiosk was broken so weer could not print our boarding passes. We had to argue with the attendant to print the passes which almost made us late for our flight."

Contra: "The on-line check-in site for Ryanair is terrible. Not at all user friendly. Of course this may be deliberate because if you have to check-in at the airport, they extract a big fee from you."

Pro: "It was a quick flight from Athens to Santorini and it left on time."
Contra: "Didn't think about pre-checking bags. It was expensive. So all liquids were taken and thrown out upon security check. The bags were checked anyway. There were not many people with their carry one on the plane, most ended up being checked."

Contra: "Having to check a bag that will fit in the plane and being charged so much"

Pro: "It got me home."
Contra: "Firstly, there were no sandwiches (hot or cold) available on a late afternoon flight, so the remaining food options were poor. Secondly, my £7 Gin and Tonic that I'd hardly touched slid right off the frankly useless trays and into my lap. The flight attendant literally threw me a few paper towels to help. I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."

Pro: "Nothing . I wish there was an option for 0 stars"
Contra: "They charged 3 times more on the actual ticket for CHECK-IN at the airport and PRINTING BOARDING PASSES. Sent us to the cashier two times separately to pay for checkin bags and for the boarding passes. When we did not understand the extra round trips to the cashier the agent yelled at us. If you must fly RyanAir -make sure you pay for every thing on line ahead of the tIme and unless you are a back packer do not think you are getting a bargain price."

Pro: "Value"

Contra: "You charged me an extra 150 Euro because I did not receive your e mail and could not register on line my flight. I complained at Airport in Greece and no one would assist me. I am writing the NY Times and Washington Post about your strategy to take extra $ from first time flyers of your airline. Shamfull !!!! Contra: "Worst service ever. I didn't see the email reminder that they sent to print the boarding pass. I also didn't prepay my bag because I wasn't sure if it was going to be 15 or 20 kilos. They charged me 160 euros just to print the two boarding passes and 1 20 kilo bag and the man at the counter told me that I should have printed them at home. Not only have I never ever had hat happen to me on any respectable airline but we took Vueling from Mykonos to Rome and they included the bag and they printed the boarding passes for free as all other customer friendly airlines. Never again!! Horrible customer service."

Pro: "Nothing."
Contra: "The staff charged me 62 euro for checking in my bag at the gate. Beforehand, I tried to check my bag in at the check in counter and the lady told me that I didn't need to check my nag in because it was within the required size. At the gate, I tried to explain the situation to the women, but they forced me to pay or threatened that I would miss my flight. Because it was their fault for not being consistent with enforcing the rules of Ryanair and a lack of communication on their part, I'm never flying with Ryanair again."

Pro: "Cheap fares."
Contra: "The airline is dependent on tacking you with extra fees from extra baggage or denying you boarding so that you eventually have to pay more. If you depend on this type of service as an airline they should never be in the business period."

Contra: "I work for a main line airline in the U.S. when we were boarding the flight I noticed we were on a 737-800 which I'm familiar with this aircraft. I know my bag will fit with no problem. As we a bearing the podium the agent says the bag is to big and demands I pay 65 euros. I am trying to explain to her that the bag will fit. Long story short they got 65 euros out of me. I probably won't fly them again ."

Pro: "Nothing - it was slow and the most inconvenient process I've ever had to deal with when flying."
Contra: "The entire check in process is a joke. They have no signs or employees standing there telling you where to go, so you wait in line with everyone else. Then you get to the ticket counter and they tell you you need to go to a counter behind in order to get boarding pass + pay for baggage claim. We wasted 45 minutes in a line that could have been avoided if they were more willing to help their customers upfront."

Pro: "It was smooth, operated well and on time!"

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "Airport staff not professional, No customer service, the airline is not customer service oriented. I will never fly Ryanair ever!!!"

Pro: "You know what you're paying for when you fly RyanAir but it's usually worth it especially on these short flights. Boarding, traveling, and landing were all great!"

Contra: "Be prepare for surprised$€£¥! Ryanair wil always find a way to get from you ~4x the cost of you ticket. They will have a charge for everything (check in at the airport=€45, select seats,etc) and you will be told from this at the check-in time. I though I was prepared to avoid all these surprises, but at the boarding time they told to most of the passengers they need to check at least one carry in item because there will be no space. They charge us €65 to check one carry on luggage, even though it complied with carry on dimensions and weight. If this surprise charge of €65 is compare to the €18 cost of the ticket (from ATH to JTR) you will note you will actually pay 4x of the ticket cost."

Pro: "on time, friendly crew, well organized"

Contra: "Rude gate staff at Otopeni Airport insisting I place my hand luggage in the hold until I informed them I had priority seats. The whole concept of priority boarding goes out the window as boarding was via a bus"

Pro: "I hated everything"
Contra: "I will never fly with Ryanair again. They ripped off all my money. If I would have booked 2 tickets with British airways would have been much better and cheaper."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "Front desk was rude, confirmation of flight did not come until late at which point they charged me for late checkin per passenger w/o my consent. Extremely unprofessional, will never use the airline. KAYAK should warn clients of these measures as it make a difference in price...very misleading. Extemely unsatisfied."

Pro: "The crew."
Contra: "Seats don't go back. You pay for soft drinks and snacks. CANNOT SIT WELL. I AM 6' 5". Couldn't sit."
