Our return flight from Paris to Dulles was half an hour late because of people from connecting flights. We arrived about 30 minutes late, but no big deal (unless you had a connection)"

Some people that missed their connection flights were offered hotel stay. Others that had no connection flight was not offered anything for the several hours of delay that occurred."

My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

Also I didnt like that i had to stand and wait for 3 hours in the line because my flight was canceled but no one could let us know if there gonna be any flights within the day. I slept in the airport because i couldnt find a hotel to spend the night close to the airport. They were all full and i had no time to find one since I was waiting there for 3 hours with no informational. I slept on the floor and delta didnt even offer us a blanket. That was my worst trip ever."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Contra: "Pet was left behind at vacation destination as pet's reservation (made and confirmed through KLM) was not found at check in. Waiting for Customer Care to help get pet home and take responsibility for situation and getting no response. Very dissapointed, considering law suit."

Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Sitting at the gate there was then suddenly a last call to board the flight and a mad rush for everyone to get on. I appreciate that delays happen but the lack of communication ragardinh altered boarding times didn't make the situation any easier"

Absolutely disappointing especially with the head sets not working because of poor ports of connection. The food was absolutely tragic. You should fire your catering company. I expect more from your airline and I was disappointed all the way through. I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future."

Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Contra: "The flight was a chartered flight . Air France informed us that due to cabin crew shortage they couldn't operate an air france flight and hence they hired Air Belgium. Whilst the crew were nice , the actual plane was old and creaky. It wasn't up to the standards expected of Air France. They could have done better in getting a plane up to standard. A lot of the passengers were disappointed ."

Contra: "Flight was delayed 3 times and when I was finally put on a flight that was leaving, they failed to check the connection in Paris (Left me 10 minutes to get from the aircraft to the other plane!) I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

Pro: "The friendliness and courtesy of the staff."
Contra: "One piece of my luggage was left behind in Paris."

Pro: "Staff pleasant and courteous fine meal and beverages! Arrived ahead of schedule in Bucharest!! Overall a very pleasant experience!"

Contra: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Contra: "Its been a week. My trip has ended. I still do not have my bags. Terrible customer service."

Pro: "Staff was nice"
Contra: "Very cramped. Poor leg room also with.metal bars under seats that further. Limited foot room. Terrible options in movies. The seats in front of us reclined so far that I couldn’t do anything but stare at the back of the seat anyway."

Contra: "Very small seats, space for nothing All the time delays and the horrible things is a lost luggage, even when there is enough time between flights."

Pro: "Smoothness of flight and service"
Contra: "In a french airline, chinese-cuisine meal was more attractive than western. Unbelievable! Entertainment: films were either too old, or too uninteresting"

Pro: "This is what happens when you get roped in by a low price."
Contra: "Disorganization which led to not being able to pre-purchase baggage. Then bad info at airport which led to multiple trips through security trying to make weight on a bag that should have been checked but was told didn't need to. Ended up missing flight, having to rebook at full fare and no one knows where the bag that was checked is. STAY AWAY!"

Pro: "The food, the service and everything else is fine, quite good."
Contra: "However, our baggages were 1 day late. Your missing baggages would deliver to you 1 day later, for some maybe 2 days later...Quite a few people said that it's been always like this with air Aeroflot if there is a transfer flight."

Pro: "Good service at gate and on board"

Pro: "The crew was very nice and helpful."
Contra: "We ordered a vegetarian meal. However, the vegetarian option offered to those who did not order a special meal looked better than the vegetarian option that we received."

Pro: "General air of professionalism is reassuring"
Contra: "Food, crew appear rushed"

Pro: "Crew was friendly and polite, both beverages and an excellent lunch was offered."
Contra: "A delay was not ideal but nothing to worry about since the flight arrived on time."

Pro: "The crew was very nice and helpful."
Contra: "The food was really poor. The chicken was as dry as it can be. The food taste was poor. I flow 3 weeks ago with KLM and the food was pretty good for flight food. In a French company I expect much more. The entertainment system on the airbus a380 was like an enchant IT system from the past. Very poor reaction time. Very messy and not people oriented at all. Especially after KLM's And Delta experience."

Pro: "All female crew in the cockpit - awesome."
Contra: "Non reclining seats"

Contra: "Airport handling is catastrophic. A lost bagage created the twins to be locked. Half an hour and we could not enter. Delays and huge mess in front of police checkpoint. No announcement and no care for passengers approaching departure time. And to top it all no announcement of any delays. Had to cheat my way through the priority line and run a sprint through security and beyond. Reached the gate to note that there was a delay of 5 minutes.... Grrrr"

Pro: "there were problems getting the tickets issued in Rome. the worker at checkin kept us for 20 minutes without telling us what was going on. the flight left the gate on time, but then we sat for an hr before leaving. no information was given as to why the flight attendants were rude. after landing we sat for an hr on the runway waiting for a gate to be available."

Pro: "should let first board passenger in rear rows and not everybody together."

Pro: "Courtesy staff excellent!"
Contra: "Console for gaming poked guy in front. Needed joystick"

Pro: "The food was one of the plane food I've had in a long time although the jamaican veggies weren't great .. The movies and choice of entertainment was amazing"

Pro: "Food was surprisingly plentiful and good. Crew was friendly and helpful. Movie selections were adequate."
Contra: "The leg room between seats was non-existant. I'm only average height and it was terribly cramped. For a taller person it would be torture."

Contra: "Toilets are not good"

Pro: "It was great."

Contra: "Wheel chair assistance at Heathrow was very very slow it took 2 hours to change gates in Terminal 5"

Pro: "Boarding and the flight itself were uneventful. Departure slightly early and arrival consequently early too."
Contra: "Paying for simple tea or coffee? I know a profit needs to be made but come on! I was missed completely by the cabin service the first time, and had to ask for tea on the second. I don’t know when they started charging for tea, but it was unwelcome, cool, and not particularly refreshing. I expect better of BA."

Pro: "Not much - inflated BA fare for mediocre offering; definitely not business class when compared to proper premium airlines."
Contra: "Cramped seats. Poor food. Disorganized boarding more soon to low cost budget carriers. Which is what BA competes against now, albeit for premium prices."

Contra: "i was asked to pay to check in my luggage :("

Contra: "Took about a month to book an infant ticket, then was issued a ticket with a wrong name, which then took another 3 weeks to be amended. When checking in, the agent told me that my daughter's ticket was not linked to anyone and looked like she was flying solo even though I mentioned to 5 different customer service agents that I would like to add her to my itinerary. Just when I thought it couldn't be worse, captain announced that they were having trouble with the AC for my part of the plane, meaning 7 hour flight was hotter than 80 degrees. I should also mention that trash was not collected until breakfast service."

Pro: "Crew member was especially gentle, kind and resourceful. She gave toys to small upset child sitting across the isle from us. Child became calm."
Contra: "Timing of the meals. Would rather have slept after take off and had a substantial breakfast before landing."

Pro: "Polite crew."
Contra: "No power outlets. TV video was shaky. The audio jack did not work. Flight was delayed."

Pro: "This was a very full flight and the crew were exceptionally patient with everyone. Much appreciated."

Contra: "The flight was late and the info was not shared. The attendants were not helpful and were unkind. The food was served in a strange timing."

Pro: "Flight was smooth, check in process etc was fine."
Contra: "Small poor pixel quality screen, small movie selection, very avg food."

Pro: "Received a lower than expected upgrade fare for Club World. The new Club World amenities are a big improvement over the older option."
Contra: "BA still needs to improve its Club World seat and update it. It is significantly behind the competition. The seat lacks meaningful storage options and if you don't have a window seat, there is absolutely no privacy."

Contra: "Love BA but very stand-offish and rude crew!"

Pro: "Everything on time, good communication, and great flight attendants"

Pro: "it wasn't british airways once i got there - it was aer lingus. this was confusing."

Contra: "BA 884 and BA 885 (a 3 hours flight!) had no water , coffee and food at all !!! PLEASE HELP US !!!"

Contra: "The flight was delayed 2 hours before takeoff. Then I missed my connection flight at LHR. Consequently I had to wait for 4 hours to catch filling flight form LHR to NCL. BA very poor service."

Contra: "List bag. Spent all day at Heathrow with 2 jet lagged kids. Missing medication. Had to go shopping for wedding clothes. Pretty much the worst day of my life so far. (I must have lived a fairly charmed life till then ;)"

Contra: "Food was awful! In a 7:30 hour flight just one small meal and one bar for breakfast! They ran out of tomato juice the first round and there was only one round of drinks in the whole flight!!"

Pro: "The inflight entertainment was top-notch. Plenty of choices, good quality and the touch screen responded well to touch. Boarding was quick, efficient and pleasant."
Contra: "Cabin crew servie was somewhat lacking during the flight. We got our drink before dinner and the drink cart did not come back again when dinner was served so we had to have dinner without a drink (other than the small cup of water that comes with the tray). Breakfast now has been relegated to a breakfast bar - really?!?!"

Contra: "My daughter spent several hours in the checking in process. It was vary confusing and frustrating."

Pro: "The people were nice."

Pro: "ALL OK."

Contra: "The temperature was extremely warm and the food was terrible."

Contra: "@ 6'4" leg room was tight. Please would airlines load from the back to be more efficient?"

Contra: "Very cramped seats; terrible food; was put on Air Lingus instead of BA; missed our connection and Air Lingus was very difficult to work with"

Contra: "The arrival, planning and hosting at Heathrow was probably worst I have experienced in 30 years. We had a tight connection, no attempt was made by anyone to prioritize those with less than 45 minute connections. We had one immigration officer for 2 lanes including the fast lane, what is the point of it. After immigration the automatic system did not let us in the boarding area. We were redirected by staff to leave the secure area without any clear explanation of what to do next. When we arrive in the ticketing area, we, several of us, went to try to go through security. That is when we were told we missed the connection. Then we were told to go to B1, after waiting in line we were told to go to zone E for reticketing. At which point I went in standby, only passenger from the group following to Edinburgh, did not make the 2nd flight either. Waited 6 hours at Heathrow..,"

Pro: "The flight,from take off to landing & crew was very good."
Contra: "The food served from Washington to London was very good. However,food served from London-Lagos though good but i was surprised that when the cabin crew who served our compartment told me that my choice of lunch was no more available in the plane to served me. Simply, they ran out of chicken and rice when it got to my turn. I had to demand to speak with the manager who came to speak with me & had to go to business class wing to get me a meal to eat. The manager was very understanding & nice.She took good care of me & fulfilled my desire.She made me happy. In conclusion,every flight should always have more than enough food to go round every parssenger in every flight in the future."

Pro: "I've boarded flight half this size in twice the amount of time it took to board this Airbus A388. I enjoyed sitting on the upper deck. It was a night flight to London from DC, so I closed my eyes straight away, and didn't partake in any of the meal or entertainment options available. Flight crew was very nice and personable."

Pro: "good connection, regardless a small delay I made my connection"
Contra: "Online check-in was not possible, neither on ba.com nor on aer lingus (flight was operated by aer lingus). I had not possibility to choose a seat. I called are lingus consumers services who said this was due to the fact, that I had a BA booking. At the airport I was told most seat were pre-reservered. There was no indication during the booking process that this might be the case. The plane was rather small, with litte space. I am rather small person and had difficulties."

Contra: "na"

Contra: "The aircraft was downgraded from an A380 to a 777, flight was overbooked, food was not good."

Pro: "Great airplane - huge Airbus with excellent entertainment center for each seat. My kids loved the fact the plane had two levels - even though we didn't see the upstairs first class."
Contra: "It was a little cold but we should have asked the flight attendants to warm up the cabin some."

Contra: "They don't tell you upon booking that if you want to sit with your party you need to pay an extra $60 per seat. We were on a double decker and my little sister was on a different level from me. They wouldn't let me down to go see her after we were delayed for a couple hours. Ran out of food choices by the time they got to us. Because it was so large, boarding and unboarding took FOREVER. Finally, it was HOT. Uncomfortably so, both levels were extremely warm and there are no personal vents that you can open above your head. I would not fly this again."
