Contra: "My flight was cancelled twice within 24 hours before takeoff. All I got was an email saying it was cancelled and a number where no one could help me. I spent over $40 international calls just to reschedule my flight, only to have to take a $80 cab to the airport to have a human help me. Worst customer service and worst experience. I was trying to get home after a natural disaster struck my hometown and Turkish Airlines actually made that experience even worse. At no point did anyone even apologize for cancelling two of my flights without another option until a full week later. I had to pay to fly myself home from Boston because they were so unhelpful. Would never recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone I know whn traveling internationally."

Pro: "I sat in coach but was treated like I was in first class. Hot towels. Entrees were very excellent. The food was above what I expected coach meals to be from my experiences flying different carriers to over 8 different countries. The customer service was amazing! The lady flight attendant for my section was very attentive and friendly. When I came out of the bathroom, I accidentally interrupted one male flight attendant from doing his job, he politely gestured which reassured me that he would be right with me when he was done with what he was doing. I asked him if they had any heartburn or antiacids available which they didn't. These 2 interactions with the flight attendants made the flight very enjoyable."
Contra: "I was in couch and in the middle seat. I usually get the aisle or window so it was a hard adjustment to sleep in the middle seat because I didn't have leg room and couldn't lean my body against anything so I had to shift often to avoid my bottom from feeling numb."

They put us through security where we were stuck with no available restrooms for nearly 2 hrs before our flight. There was no reason for the rush, and there really should have been bathrooms for us."

Contra: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Both luggages are missing. -made the complainment, now we are waiting to show up in Romania and to be delivered at home. -went to pick up the rental car, because of the plane delay, they gave our car away. -after trying several companies, we found a car, 3 times more expensive, but we have a car....yeeyy"

After passing the long lines of security checks, you come to passport checking stations. only 1 out of 3 available stations is manned. Again, lines too long and barely moving. Probably many missed their flights while waiting to go through passport checks. We lost almost 2 hours between security and passport checks. Airport personnel were unfriendly, they did show any care towards the hundreds that are herded like sheep in long lines. They could have eased this backlog of people by manning all their available stations but they did not. Will try not to go through this airport in the future."

Contra: "Crew was not friendly at all. Amenities kit was burlap sac with nothing worth keeping or using -- even the eye covers. Business class bathrooms had nothing to offer in the areas of hand/face creams. All there was were hand wipes and air freshener. (OMG! SERIOUSLY!?); a big difference from their partners (i.e. Swiss and Lufthansa). Crew was not present -- not only were they very unfriendly they were no where to be found. TV/video didn't work properly -- kept fast forwarding or changing channels on its own. The crew of course, was not concerned."

They themselves said it was new to them and they did not fully grasp how it worked and they did not know why it did not accept me. SOFTWARE PEOPLE BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD."

Contra: "At the gate the boarding processes was very slow because there was only a single person checking the passports and the boarding passes of all passengers. Surprisingly, this airline also could not provide a plastic bag for our checked in child seat, which is standard on other airlines."

Contra: "They could not issue boarding pass for the all the segments of the travel. The agent had to talk to someone in order to even issue the boarding pass and even though the bags were checked in all the way to Pittsburgh boarding passes were not issued. I cannot blame the agent because Luftansa had issued the ticket for this Austrian Airline flight."

He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Contra: "We had 4 hour delay causing a stop over at 3am. So yeah"

Pro: "The crew was great but the seat wasn't as comfortable and didn't have much leg room."

Contra: "the connecting times for klm seem to be very close - if your running late to start - you may not make your next one -"

Pro: "The earphones for out two seats only worked intermittently, but the Purser, Lee-Ann handled it professionally and pleasantly. That was the only disappointment in an otherwise pleasant flight"

Contra: "The website I booked on and the Delta phone line on the printed ticket said that I had baggage when it turns out that I did not according to the check in staff and they made me pay."

Pro: "I love the food"

Pro: "Very pleased with KLM - efficiency all round and especially the baggage handling at Schipol swhere I had 20 minutes to transfer and my baggage came back with me to the UK which is no mean feat given the hustle and bustle of such a large airport"

Contra: "Flight was delayed, landing at vce took an additional 10 minutes due to no one at the jet way. Luggage service was very slow"

Pro: "Very attentive crew. Attended to needs immediately. Took a lot of time with each person when someone had something to say."
Contra: "The seat I had with no seats in front of me was very small. Much smaller than the other economy seats because the tray table and video screen were in the armrests. Paid extra for the legroom by ended up losing it side to side. Really had to squeeze into the seat."

Pro: "I slept pretty much the whole time"

Contra: "Flight was cancelled."

Pro: "The boarding was easy and you didn't have to wait inline for that long"
Contra: "KLM needs to upgrade the entertainment. It was very hard to see the images on the screen. The planes that KLM uses are old and they sure need to be upgraded."

Pro: "We were fed a nice pasta meal and offered drinks twice. They also gave a muffin for desert. The flight attendants were very nice and attentive with cheerful smiles. I wish every airline had service this good!"

Pro: "Decent meal (warm Pasta all'arrabbiata), nice little muffin for dessert and standard drinks (coffee & tea were a bonus, as they didn't serve any on a similar flight, from Barcelona to Amsterdam), friendly cabin crew."
Contra: "Poor timing - no reason for a 40 minute delay at take off (plane was fully boarded in time) Old aircraft, shabby, dirty and cramped seats. Coming from my connecting flight from Barcelona, I could clearly tell the different in the quality (and cleanliness) of the aircrafts."

Pro: "Friendly attendants. Decent food, and frequent snacks and beverages."
Contra: "No charging ports for electronic devices."

Pro: "The crew were hardworking, responsive, conscientious and friendly"
Contra: "Really poor entertainment choices esp compared to my inbound AirFrance flight. Boarding was pretty disorganized and late."

Pro: "Boarding was quick, Flight on time....just a regular service and plane"
Contra: "Terminal 3 Manchester is not worth staying longer then necessary, loud music, crowded....old"

Pro: "Delayed flight but staff apologized as for safety reasons."

Contra: "The food was terrible, wifi was extremely expensive (Delta had free messaging over their wifi)"

Pro: "The staff was very helpful and professional. Promp response to calling for attention."
Contra: "Wish there was better lumbar support for the seats. The food could be a bit more exciting with simple addition of lime pickles. Overall can not complain for economy standard!"

Pro: "The crew came to get me from the arrival gate to get to the departure gate since our plane was delayed. It helped to know that the airline was checking to make sure we made the flight."
Contra: "I did not get my luggage in Nairobi. The delayed flight that was the most likely reason it did not get to the connecting flight to Nairobi."

Pro: "The last two times we connected in Amsterdam to Humberside our luggage was delayed. This time it wasn’t. The simple things give the greatest satisfaction"

Pro: "The sandwiches were simple yet just the right touch, on all four flights."

Contra: "OLD OLD plane with hard seats and tiny screens"

Pro: "Loved the service...everything was excellent"
Contra: "The bus class seat was a bit narrow at the feet"

Pro: "Airline staff good and professional"
Contra: "Nothing one can do, for a 6.2" guy, the metal bar that forms the shape for the pouch for magazines and such digs into knees, ESP if person in front adjusts seat back. Fold out table barely accommodates laptop."

Contra: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

Pro: "Nothing"
Contra: "Flight from Amsterdam was 2 hours late. Caused me to miss connection on train from London to Leeds which then cost me 124 pounds to rebook. No information was forthcoming at all at the airport and there were 3 different departure times given. Absolute chaos. The airline is a joke"

Contra: "Pet was left behind at vacation destination as pet's reservation (made and confirmed through KLM) was not found at check in. Waiting for Customer Care to help get pet home and take responsibility for situation and getting no response. Very dissapointed, considering law suit."

Contra: "Departure 40 mins late. I took this flight 2 weeks ago and it was also delayed."

Pro: "The flight was delayed by 40 minutes initially then a further 20 making it an hour late. Sitting at the gate there was then suddenly a last call to board the flight and a mad rush for everyone to get on. I appreciate that delays happen but the lack of communication ragardinh altered boarding times didn't make the situation any easier"
