Final leg of our long journey was from ORD to AUS and it was good

Pro: "The food was good and was served with professionalism.It was an excellent service no doubt."
Contra: "Boarding process and food"
Contra: "Breakfast/snack is very bad, but no airline provides anything decent."
Pro: "The crew was very responsive. The dinner food was good."
Contra: "The entertainment touch screen was not responsive to the touch, neither for me nor for the other members of my family. The power socket in my seat was not working, but I could use that in my wife's seat."
Pro: "Very helpful and accommodating"

Contra: "Delayed departures, both in Zchicago and Munich."

Contra: "We had reserved a gluten free meal for my wife. When I went to check in it was gone from our reservation. The crew attempted to put something together so she would have food to eat but the response from their customer support team on the phone was not great. I recommend verifying all meals twice before 48 hours out. On a 7+ hour flight this is not fun."
Contra: "There was a very unruly child on the flight. The attendants did their best to deal with him but it was quite chaotic for a long flught"

Contra: "Took off almost an hour late. Flight personnel repeatedly skipped me for drinks, meals, etc. on plane for nearly 8 hours without a drop of water."
Contra: "Missed my flight because the baggage check in closed, but what bothered me was that the attendant did not give any solutions or help, just coldly said “you can’t get on because you can’t check in your bag” and continued to tell me that I should just throw my luggage and all my things away to at least check in and get my body on the plane. I felt like I had to coerce her for help or advice on what I should do with my situation and she didn’t really give me any beneficial help until right before my gate closed and my plane departed. As customer service, shouldn’t they offer help without having the customer feel like they need to convince the check in attendant to give them alternate solutions?"
Pro: "Service was great, meal was fantastic, seats were very comfortable, and the assortment of things they provided for entertainment were fantastic."
Pro: "I liked the entertainment options, beverage service, and leg room."
Contra: "I paid to reserve an upgraded seat. I specifically asked for a window seat and even have a confirmation email saying that I got a window seat (27 A). However, when I checked in, I was assigned a middle seat and the representatives at the ticket counter tried to tell me that was my preference. They tilde me to take it up with customer relations. If I pay $100 for a particular seat, I should get that seat!"
Pro: "By far the best flying experience in a long time..."

Contra: "Our luggage did not arrive at our final destination of Madrid. It was awful. Also, after many passengers, including us, had fallen asleep, they woke us to put our seat backs up so the people behind us could put their tray tables down."

Contra: "S7 asked for additional "fees" to cover flight expenses. They have charged extra for carry on luggage of 2,000 roubles. It was mentioned that it was international flight but they have refused to honor those rules. I have used the same bag on other airlines and did not have any problems."
Pro: "The crew was very nice. The hot towelettes before eating was very nice."
Contra: "Squished in the middle of a row. Unable to get up and get things out of my bag. Video screen not working. I had been looking forward to catching up on some movies ( rarely have time for to or movies usually) was disappointed to have no working screen on such a long flight. Did appreciate the effort to supply a gluten free meal, unfortunately someone added whole wheat crackers ( luckily still in wrapper ). The boarding area was mixed with people trying to get to New Jersey at the next gate making it very crowded and confusing, people found themselves in the wrong line."

Contra: "The in flight entertainment system was broken, they changed me seats however that one wouldn't lean, after that went back to the original seat. In the second flight a baby was crying and they did nothing to remediate the situation for those that were around him. In the end I had a very bad flight"
Pro: "The flight crew was lovely, and the best part of the entertainment was the on plane cameras which we could watch. Very cool!"
Contra: "Gluten free meal for breakfast was a turkey sandwich?? I would have preferred yogurt"
Pro: "Overall good experience. I don't expect much for food on planes and dinner was acceptable."
Pro: "Aircraft crew and operations were excellent."
Contra: "My original itinerary was booked with Airfare.com with a 93 minute layover at ORD, subsequently abbreviated to 40 minutes. Despite my repeated requests, neither Airfare.com nor United nor Lufthansa were willing to adjust my consequent itinerary to correct that conspicuous deficiency. Instead, both United and Lufthansa representatives repeatedly assured me that the 40 minute connection would present no problem; and Airfare.com tried to extract a 33% premium on its original sale to make any such adjustment. As it turned out, my apprehensions were realized when boarding and tarmac delays at SFO consumed the entire layover, and a subsequent gate delay at ORD frustrated the commendable efforts of the flight crew to facilitate the de-boarding of passengers with close connections. Contrary to United and Lufthansa's explicit reassurances, the long run halfway down one concourse and all the way back up a second left me four minutes short of the gate closure. You guys need to get your act together. If either airline chooses to finance its operations by selling tickets to an "aggregator", such a business practice should not relieve the airline of its obligation to provide reliable service to its ultimate customer, the flyer. I am currently working to identify an appropriate regulatory agency to whom to report this cynical misrepresentation of services and the patently corrupt business model upon which it is based."

Contra: "The 24 layover in Chicago with no possible flight out. If I didn't make the rescheduled flight, I would have been at least 48 hours in the airport waiting on another flight. Because I was unfamiliar with the area and was not offered any accommodations, I didn't sleep the entire time I was in Chicago. I also had to stand in line for a very long time and by the time I was done rebooking my flight all the airport restaurants were closed. I understand there are flight cancellations, but it just would have been nice if the airport was a little more accommodating."
Pro: "Service and food were excellent."
Contra: "Every seat had headphones, but the plug didn't fit the available jack. If we hadn't brought our own earbuds it would have been 9 hours of silence."
Pro: "Private screen for movies and music was wonderful. Blanket and pillow waiting on seat for you. Meal and drinks were very very good! Wonderful flight."
Contra: "Very strict instructions on when we had to close our window and when we had to open it."
Pro: "I loved the food for the flight and the service, it's always a pleasure to travel with Lufthansa. Awesome entertaining opportunities."
Contra: "Nothing really"
Pro: "Hats off and Thank you to the Man behind the counter at the gate. My knees are bad and I walk with a cane, he ensured I was transported safely and in time to the new gate when we had to switch gates because of plane issues."
Contra: "When a couple of ladies boarded and were going to be seated in the exit isle. going by the color of their skin and the clothes they were wearing, the stewardess with long blonde hair, assumed they did not speak English, and rather rudely told them that they should not be in this row. To which they responded in prefect English. told her they were comfortable with the emergency seat and helping passengers. She kept pushing them and finally they switched with a couple other passengers. VERY RUDE!!!!"
Pro: "This flight was cancelled"
Contra: "This flight was cancelled and we were rebooked on the 10:30 flight to Frankfurt"
Contra: "From the boarding to the landing this crew could not have been more rude. Flashlights in the eye when trying to sleep, rude comments, rude attitude. They are clearly not here to make our flight easier."
Pro: "Attentive, friendly staff on flight. Choice of meals, good food and drink. Plenty of restrooms in economy. Good overheard and under seat storage. Information over the speaker system was shared in German, English, and sometimes French. Individual TV screen was nice. Good smooth flight. Boarding and deboarding were painless, even in economy."
Contra: "Economy seats a little too close together for a long flight. However, economy seating was comfortable. If possible, sharing information about where to locate customs in the arrival airport, would be a nice addition."
Contra: "I used to reserve seats without fees, but Lufthansa airlines requested a fee when I tried to reserve seats in advance."
Pro: "Luggage came pretty quickly."
Contra: "A female member of the cabin crew was rude to one of the passengers (either Latino or Middle Eastern), who was unable to fasten her children's seat belts and informed the crew shortly before the take off."
