Even though the floght was delayed 3-4 times For a total of 2 hours! We were very upset since we have a wedding celebration scheduled and the airline showed no flexibility even in situations where the floght was delayed! They charged alot of mone to rebook for the next day"

The staff were super helpful, every time you asked for something they provided quickly. The seats were spacious. Great flight entertainment tons of movies to choose from. Food was yummy. Finally, someone at the airport helped in re-booking our flights but I have yet to have anyone give me an answer regarding compensation! In addition, we are traveling with an infant which isn't easy but we had the bassinet seat on our original flight. Now it's sold out for the flight tomorrow and no one will assist in trying to help get us better seats. I understand things are out of your companies control but being in an airport with an 18-month baby isn't easy and no one in this company has made this crazy travel schedule easier. I would like someone to call me back or email me with something that could maybe be done to help us! No one at the call center will help!"

No sign of Lufthansa reps at arrival gate area and zero directions on where to go. Had to walk miles through Frankfurt airport , go through immigration and security again without any direction one where to find Lufthansa and when finally found Lufthansa service counter it was understaffed with long lines and confusion. By time we learned rebooking, we almost missed rebooked connections. So much for German organizing and efficiency."

Contra: "I was careful to prepare my luggage so I only had a carry on. Unfortunately, the weight limit for carry on baggage is incredibly low, so I ended up having to check my bag anyway. I understand the process and why, so this is only a minor complaint. But I do wish the weight limit could be a bit higher."

I had to stand for about 50 minutes, either on the crowded bus or, after climbing with great difficulty three flights of stairs to a high jet-bridge (I am 76), standing there forever with 200 persons waiting to get access to the plane. Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."

Pro: "Crew was professional and friendly. Plane was clean. And food was served quickly without the hassle of ordering from a menu and paying. And it was delicious. Best airline food I’ve had in a long time. The chocolate dessert was incredible. And a coffee to go with it. Made a three hour flight very pleasant."
Contra: "All airlines need to remove a row of seats and give everyone just a bit more legroom."

There was plenty of room, I had breakable stuff in my luggage, didn´t get the chance to choose. No entertainment AT ALL. Confort: no leg space at all. Not an AirFrance plane, subcontracted. Lousy food."

Contra: "The layover in London was too short and we missed the follow-on flight due to the flight getting into London late and BA not getting us through the terminal rapidly."

Pro: "We enjoyed the fact that for economy, they offered mixed drinks and wine. Dinner food was excellent. Breakfast not much, but then again I'm not much for breakfast. The seats in economy were comfortable."

When I was late, the staff told me I should have asked for help.I had no way of knowing. I was told on another flight about the time limit. The lack of variety of entertainment and the quality of the equipment and the picture resolution made was a joke"

Contra: "I boarded the plane and made a mistake by sitting in the wrong seat and placed my hang-up bag in the overhead compartment. When I realized that my actual seat was 10 rows back on the very last row, I moved, leaving my hang-up bag near the first seat. As time passed, I heard a woman on the intercom say something about a lost "jumper". After learning that a "jumper" is a sweater, I asked the nearby airline attendant if the sweater was a navy color, like the one that I had left in the overhead. A female airline attendant came to me, carrying my hang-up bag with my sweater and repeated 4 times that I was lucky because she was about to put my "jumper" and hangup-bag off the plane and leave it in Johannesburg since no one had responded sooner!!!! I was so stunned that I could not say anything. I only kept wondering why would anyone go into the overhead and start pulling things out? Why would someone take such extreme measures and not walk down the aisle, asking every person on the plane, including the people on the back row? This type of thing could happen to anyone. Since I did not have a name tag on the bag and I live in the US, it would have been near impossible to ever find my bag again if left in So.Africa! Plus, the woman went on and on in a very rude & condescending manor when all I could do was sit in shock, wondering why she would take the time to go through the overhead and look for a hang-up bag that does not have a name tag!!!!"

Pro: "BA recognizes benefits earned with AA (OneWprld alliance). Boarding was quick and get to use the launch to freshen up before the trip."

What other international carrier operates a hub with international flights leaving from two distant terminals? If my connection hadn’t been late"

Terrible seat that I tried to move with no success. Did not eat anything or watch any entertainment. Very unpleasant experience. I have flown this route many times and next time I would fly Swiss through Zurich or Geneva as I have done before."

Pro: "Flying BA is like flying any other American provider. The service was good, the food was meager and mediocre. We flew the same route with SWISS Air a few months ago and the seats are a bit more comfy and the food, snacks and drink were more frequent and delicious."

Contra: "BA flight was ok, but as we booked through American Airlines, online check-in was impossible. In consequence we could get only separated seats, needed more time for checkin etc. As we have booked the flight with AA Budapest-London-Miami-Sao-Paolo, and Santiago-Miami-London- Budapest, we faced this problem several times."

Contra: "The flight was delayed by 4 hours because maintenance needed to change a tire on the airplane. The delay would have been acceptable if it wasn't for the excuses the airline offered. First, they said maintenance couldn't find a spare tire, and when they did rob a tire from another plane, they said the delay was due to FAA paperwork. These reasons, most likely true, suggest American Airlines (British Airways sub-contracted this flight to its partner, American Airlines) was not prepared to handle such an emergency."

Pro: "The crew was nice and the food was alright. Good entertainment and comfy plane."

Contra: "Where shall I begin? The crew was ok, makes me miss flying JetBlue, the crew can learn a lot from them in what customer service and friendly crew is about!!! In my opinion, if they had the chance to learn, this crew would be the same as they are, because it feels like, get them in and complete the shift. The seat was so uncomfortable that I spent the entire 9 hrs awake. The entertainment was terrible. When watching a movie you can't simply start it when you want so if you miss show time when it started you have to begin where it is...I hope that 1st class is different than what it feels like to ride in coach because it makes me feel like steerage! I most certainly would not take this airline to Europe unless I had better accommodations because being in the coach section sucks!"

Contra: "Unfortunately, the passenger beside me a young man was over served by the flight attendant and became extremely inebriated so that when I tried to ignore him and sleep, he kept touching me, rubbing my arm and leg. The crew were aware of what was happening and tried to reprimand him. It made my flight extremely difficult and it was all because the flight attendant served him doubles of whiskey (which the passenger was drinking neat) on six occasions, two bottles of red wine and that does not include the doubles the passenger procured for himself from other attendants. In all the behaviour of this passenger made my flight a complete nightmare and it was totally unnecessary for him to be served this much alcohol."
