Contra: "The flight was 3 hours delayed - and the captain never told us exactly what was wrong. The boarding lane was a chaos as well - and the tv screens never really worked. Terrible!"

Pure scam to get you to pay to upgrade your flight, pay for hotel or be condemned to stay in there airport for a whole day. Never ever again! Don't fly them!"

Contra: "They flight was moved up about 1 hr earlier. But no email/SMS/call etc. I totally could have missed the flight as a result! Why would they change it and not let passengers know?"

Pro: "Qatar is quite possibly the best airline in the world, especially on its long haul flights. It is heads above the other two major Persian Gulf airlines. All the employees with whom I dealt were excellent and customer-oriented. The planes between Doha and London were new, had more space than older planes and had an excellent selection of movies and TV shows. I ordered special meals on all the flights, and I was very satisfied. I have been a fan of Qatar Airways since I flew it to Australia in 2011. It continues to do a superb job, even in Economy."

The crew worked with great pains within a difficult situation. The flight was delayed by an hour, full flight had dirty lavatories without water from the get go! One of the middle lavatories could not lock! This plane should have been better serviced by ground crew before it departed Doha! Infotainment system is confusing, keep it simple and add more up to date movies. Even then, I will still fly QR over all else."

I've had to purchase a new set of luggage AND will have to pay for them on my next 2 legs on Delta. I apologise for seeming so harsh as I know you've had so much trouble because of the tornadoes, but this leg of my trip cost me an additional $800.00 plus AUD and I was here in the US to care for my father who recently had a 2nd heart attack and my final days in USA were meant to be a holiday, and all I can say is the stress because these expenses have removed any enjoyment (I know I'm looking at this half empty, not half full). Pro: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Contra: "Seating is very tight even for a petite 5’1” person like me. My boyfriend was 5’8” and he was definitely uncomfortable with the lack of leg space. If the passengers in front of you decided to put their seats back? You’ve lost even more space and feel closed in. Thankfully the aisle seat next to us was empty so we tried to stretch out a little bit without spilling into the seat entirely. Entertainment was eh. Two movies from the early 2000s (Alvin & the Chipmunks and What happens in Vegas) and an episode of Tom & Jerry and an episode of Modern Family but from Season 5? Not great if you’ve never watched the series.. About their hospitality... My boyfriend and I were completely disregarded and ignored by a stewardess with blonde hair and thick black glasses... Flight: DE2102 that left September 8th from Frankfurt to San Juan. We received our meals from her AFTER she handed meals to the people behind us - this was not the case for other passengers that spoke German, everyone’s meals up until ours was handed in order.. When it was time to pick up the trays she skipped us both times (with our trays ready in our hands to hand to her) - I watched her pick up the trays from the passengers before and after us. My boyfriend did say “Excuse me” but she ignored him - she probably would’ve paid attention if he asked in German.. She even looked at us as she passed by which blew my mind. Her coworker on the other side had to pick up her slack and was very kind enough to pick up our trays even though we weren’t his assigned aisle. It confused me because she was so pleasant with the German passengers but ignored us even when we made eye contact and smile for her attention.. I hate to say this because I give everyone the benefit of the doubt but to be honest I felt discriminated.. My boyfriend is German (speaks fluent German and English) but I felt because of my ethnicity (Asian) he had to suffer for that.. I felt terrible that he was suffering because of me. No one wants that for their significant other or anyone. Another occasion was when another stewardess was handing us our drinks. My boyfriend’s cup was broken and as she passed it over me it spilled all over my shirt. I did gasp from surprise. No apologies whatsoever.. She seemed impatient and grabbed the cup back over only to put another cup under it. I asked for a Sprite but they only had Cola or Fanta so I was totally okay with Cola “Cola bitte”. My German isn’t that great but I did hear her coworker ask why I gasped and she told her that it was because I was surprised they didn’t have Sprite - very untrue. I was shocked and I couldn’t respond. I have never been so disappointed in a flight and the hospitality. I am very forgiving if an incident happens once or twice, but when I see it happen in front of me over and over and over again? That’s where my tolerance unfortunately crumbles. I was on the verge of tears by the end of the flight. I hope I never fly Condor again."

Contra: "Flight delayed for more than an hour but we were told we couldn’t check the luggage even though we had already checked in!!! Cleared immigration without being able to check our luggage and the flight still hadn’t landed to even refuel and go through it’s ground checks!Now we’re without clothes for a week!! Worst customer service ever with aggressive non chalant Condor agents worst travel experience ever"

Pro: "Service on flight was second to none."
Contra: "Check in at Frankfurt Germany was like Cattle. Very Poor"

Pro: "seats were comfy, food was pretty good"
Contra: "a couple more movie options for a 9 hour flight would have been nice. crew was "distant" not very personal"

Pro: "The flight crew made the best of an inconvenient situation and seemed genuinely apologetic for what they clearly knew were exploitative policies."
Contra: "Our flight was delayed due to a mechanical issue, but instead of updating the schedule to reflect this, the airline had us standing indefinitely in the queue to board; this was probably about 45 minutes in which we could have sat down or grabbed some food, or literally done ANYTHING other than waiting as we did. Because of this delay, we were offered hard candies. In all honesty, I would have preferred to be offered water, which at €2.50 on an international, several hours long flight is borderline criminal. I have been skeptical about low-cost, "budget" airlines in the past, and this experience confirmed that if the price of the flight seems too good to be true, it probably is. The difference in cost was more than paid for by the hidden fees, the quality of service, and the denial of basic human dignities like not having your knees crushed against the seat in front of you, or God forbid--a cup of tap water."

Contra: "Does Condor only own 1 plane? They couldn't help with finding another flight and are waiting for a part to come on Icelandic air to fix the problem. So far, delayed 2 days."

Pro: "Nonstop is great. It was easy to sleep on the way to Germany."

Pro: "Nothing."
Contra: "Everything. Would never use them again."

Pro: "Crew was nice, food was fine, got to watch a couple recently released movies, which was free for me."
Contra: "Flight was delayed 4 hours. I was initially put on stand-by even though I bought ticket 2 months ago. I don't travel much but apparently you check in online 24h prior. Never had to do this before."

Contra: "The distance between seats is so ridiculously small that I wonder how Condor can get away with that without getting sued. otherwise okay, but I won't recommend Condor to anybody unless they are extremely short."

Pro: "Knowing they were going to miss my connection, they accepted the booking anyway, out of pure greed and complete disregard for my wellbeing. When I missed my connection in FRA they rebooked me on FRA-YVR-YYZ. That’s a day in a hotel then flying half way around the world to save them a buck. Terrible airline and I’ll never fly them again."

Pro: "Good choice of music"
Contra: "The bathrooms were full so we had to stop in Manchester to empty them and refuel, added 1.5hrs onto the already 11hr flight...ugh. Bad food and only 2 movies unless you pay extra."

Pro: "Everything was rather fine"
Contra: "Lack of possibility to conect personal device such as laptop."

Pro: "I like that it was a direct flight and inexpensive."
Contra: "We left one hour late. The lines were very long. Not enough agents. This happened both ways. The seat from Austin to Frankfurt was tight and very uncomfortable. I had paid 49 euros for it. So, on my return flight I upgraded to a 99 euro seat, thinking I'd just be charged the difference. No. I over-paid 150 euros for an exit door seat. The weight limit for a carry-on bag was lighter than for other airlines, so I had to check it in and overpay for that. One of my glass souvenirs was broken."

Pro: "Inexpensive...but at a cost Food was ok. Nothing horrendous."
Contra: "No leg room No entertainment Overall felt cramped"

Pro: "Safety procedures were outlined very well with German audio and English caption. It was a clever video and clearly made its point with one go. Soft pillows and warm blankets were provided. Only one selection for food made things flow smoothly."
Contra: "Entertainment provided was too limited for an 8 hour flight in my opinion. Two movies, one of which was animated, was an extremely slim selection. Also, entertainment was interrupted for the first hour of the flight as the audio was cut for a lengthy German announcement that was repeated in English. I felt like time was wasted when the same safety video was shown with English audio and a German subtitle. If there was a way to cut the second showing or display it in a different way, it could make the flight experience more enjoyable. The advanced headrest style wasn't implemented in the economy class. The long flight would have been more forgiving on my back and neck if the headrests could be the trifold model found on most modern airplanes. One meal type may have limited people enjoying or even eating their main cuisine."

Pro: "The crew was excellent."
Contra: "First the ground staff didn't allow people with disabilities to pre-board, Second, the seats were so crammed together, like I've never seen on an international flight, third the entertainment options were pathetic and alcohol wasn't free. I've paid less for tickets and gotten way more. But what was truly appalling was the fact that I asked the airport staff for a wheelchair and they wouldn't give it to me, I could barely walk and they ignored my request in Frankfurt."

Pro: "direct flt from Minneapolis to Frankfurt Friendly"
Contra: "seating is crowded movie choices limited"

Contra: "we needed more leg room."

Pro: "Nothing. Company 21+ hour delay with no info provided."
Contra: "Flightfrom Seattle to Munich was "delayed" by 21+ hours. Company refused to provide info on connections until we arrived in Munich, and then only after an unguided search for the Lufthansa (not condor) info desk elsewhere in the airport. The flight crew had a connections list, but refused to announce the info. The company agents on the US side were contractors who stood behind an empty counter. They didn't/couldn't turn on the airport computers to help, suggesting we guess or connections using the internet. After a full day's delay, I was only able to give my host a 1 hour heads up regarding my arrival time, inconveniencing her too. Unbelievably indifferent staff attitudes. Terrible service all around. Don't fly Condor, and consider avoiding Lufthansa for tolerating such awful treatment if their less-moneyed customers."

Pro: "Great value for money. I paid extra fee for premium entertainment, but it was pretty cheap and still a lot less than what I would have paid on other airlines for the trip. The service was excellent, the food was very good. I would recommend this airline to anyone. I paid for the premium food on the way back. It was excellent, although the regular food was not bad."
Contra: "The flight was delayed for about an hour, however it was not any stress and the airline kept us informed at all times."

Pro: "Snacks were tight, and appreciated the free Bailey's. But I would need way more Bailey's to fall asleep comfortably in that plane."
Contra: "Leg room. On a nine hour flight. Overnight. I maybe slept for an hour."

Contra: "The crew did not give to me my dinner and my breakfast until I ask, deSpite they do it with all the passenger. With the breakfast one of the girl saw me without a food and she did not offer it me!"

Pro: "The boarding process was unusual in that back rows boarded first, so we got to get on early"
Contra: "Staff very unhelpful in seating my husband and me together. Only 2 free movies and charged for incremental entertainment. Also sat in back row and heard every toilet flush = no sleep. And attendants not friendly - nail polish spilled in my bag and I got yelled at for painting my nails vs offering some paper towel to help clean it up"

Pro: "Non-stop flight to my destination on time with friendly staff. They really paid attention to keep everyone hydrated on the long flight."
Contra: "Despite individual monitors at every seat, the offering of violent and sexual content is disturbing. Monitors can be seen from a few seats away, and I have witnessed children becoming rather disturbed at content "adults" are watching. I believe that real adults can survive an 8 hour flight without watching sex and violence."

Pro: "Customer service was great. The flight was pleasant and inexpensive."
Contra: "If I had to say something negative, I would say I didn't like that much of the information was in German, although it was a German airline."

Contra: "One hour delay due to catering debacle. Food was terrible and the entertainment lacking. Plane outdated - no headrest TV. Bring your own entertainment!"

Pro: "The food, the crew on the plane, the flight was smooth. And my luggage made it with me."
Contra: "There is no clear communication between the company and the website. The weight limit of the luggage, both checked and hand one, was hard to find on the website, as well as on the phone."

Pro: "Water was free. And 2 meals - no, based on portion size, I guess those were snacks. Everything else cost extra."
Contra: "Tightest passenger seating I have experienced in over 60 years of flying and the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE seat. I am just 6' and my knees pressed agsinst the seatback in the upright position. Firmly. First time ever I couldn't sleep. Accoustics meant the talking of a passenger across the aisle and against the window sounded like he was in my lap! HORRIBLE design. A ceiling panel came loose and swung down in flight (lights attached). Nobody knew how to fix it so the entire wait crew just stood and stared at it for 10 minutes until one woman swung it back into place. AWFUL training."

Pro: "New Plane"
Contra: "Low cost airline so entertainment cost"

Pro: "Friendly crew."
Contra: "The flight arrived to Frankfurt to late for our next flight and re booked our next flight twice. So instead of waiting only an hour and half we ended waiting 7 hours. And the boarding on the next flight almost didn't have any seats. The entertainment and all the movies was not free of churg. And there was not enough food. I was hungry during the flight and found my self eating only junckfood snacks. Also the baggeg allowed was so small specially for international flight. I never heard before about only 20 kg allowed, and I fly a lot. This is not all, they even weight our hand baggeg. I was shocked and disappointed."

Pro: "Plane was clean."
Contra: "Were not informed that their card readers don't read visa debit cards. So no movies or alcohol for 10 hours. Would have been nice to know beforehand. At the end of the trip, I was not carrying US cash nor was I in a country that used Euros."

Pro: "nothing"
Contra: "flight from Africa to Moscow was delayed 14 hours . They did not email or all to give notification of this . I spent 1.5 hours in a taxi and $50 going to the airport only to find it was cancelled adn then go back paying another $50. Turned out the pilot was sick, and they didnt have a single pilot as backup . I also paid $95 for my extra bag and they did not check it all the way through moscow, so when i arrived in frankfurt where my connection was, I had to pay another $75 to Aeroflot because of this error. On top of it all they lost my baggage. I didnt get it for another entire day. Never flying them again."
