Contra: "50euro per bag for check in! Very delayed departure. More money to sit next to spouse and more money to have one carry on bag-- which was for medications."
Contra: "Horrible experience. Queued on foot at gate for ages including 15 mins waiting on tarmac outside plane in blazing sun. Luggage took one and a half hours to appear after landing. Ridiculous baggage arrangements which seem to be designed to save Ryanair airport handling charges. You take your bag through security as hand baggage which means no liquids but then it’s put in the hold and you have to wait for it on arriving. As usual with Ryanair, maximum inconvenience to passengers."
Contra: "They delayed the flight from 8:55 to 10:15 but we didn’t board until about 11. They left us outside in the cold and extreme wind instead of having us just stay inside until the plane was ready. When I complained the employee said there was a woman onboard with a wheelchair and they didn’t have a way to get her off. When we finally got on takeoff was delayed another hour. They blamed all of this on air traffic control staffing in France, didn’t take any responsibility for the delay with the wheelchair. Ryanair is a disgrace."

Contra: "Received emails about baggage, the policy stated that any cabin baggage beyond 1 would be checked for FREE in the hold. My wife and I both arrived with a small carry-on bag and a backpack. Upon arrival to Lisbon the attendant told us we needed to pay40euro each for the extra bag because it was slightly bigger than the bag “tester” box. (It fit sideways but not long ways). We showed the email about the free checked bag and she said because it was too big we had to pay 40 euro each. After a while we agreed. She then told us just to go to the gate, it would be ok. At the gate we had the same conversation with a different attendendent, this time it was 50 euro a piece! She said there was nothing she could do and just like that we are out 100 Euro. Do not fly with these Crooks!"
Contra: "We are senior travelers and were unable to check in early due to tecnology issues. So we we went to the airport early. We arrived a half hour before the check in deadline ended. There were not enough agents at the booth and we waited and waited. By the time we finally got service we were past the two hour deadline, and we were charged an additional 220 euros. This was not due to an error on our part. We want afull refund. If we donnot receive some sort of satisfaction, rest assured we will never fly your airline again. Nor will we recommend it."

Contra: "Unclear policy regarding check-in and fees attached. Make sure you check in early online! Avoid a stupid 55€ fee! Terrible boarding -felt like cattle being herded. Rude employees. Uncomfortable seats that don't go back at all. Left the bright florescent lights on the whole time for a night flight so they could try to sell us more stuff in-flight. An hour late."

Contra: "Very slow boarding. 10 min delay. Had to wait in queue as priority for at least 15 minutes. Waiting is in an barrack-style terminal, so basically in the cold."

Contra: "The flight was delayed, without any warning we were in line to board for over an hour before we were informed of the delay. Then after finally boarding, a passenger got into a verbal altercation with one of the crew members which was very unprofessional. During the flight there was terrible turbulence which cannot always be controlled however passengers were standing in the aisles and not instructed to return to their seats. Lastly the landing was the worst I have ever experienced and I travel fairly frequently. Overall nothing went well and I think you need to reevaluate your standards of professionalism."

Contra: "RyanAir is a ripoff!!! Spend a little extra money to start with for a decent airline. I thought I'd checked in as I got an email and as the webpage took me on to adding the bags- (appx $25 each!) BUT when I got to the airport I was not checked in and it cost me 50 euros EACH ticket to check in! Words cannot express (in this forum) how angry I was! And then to get crammed in that plane with no amenities and having to pay for even a glass of water. Never again!!"

Pro: "Flight sat on the tarmac for two hours before taking off, which turned a 4 hour flight into a 6 hour ordeal with no food or water. A free cup of coffee or bottle of water would have been a nice effort from Ryanair to make up for how far behind schedule they were running. Then the staff spent the entire flight flogging merchandise - drinks, terrible food (even by airline standards), even lottery tickets! Real airlines like Lufthansa and KLM only seem marginally more expensive for travel in Europe, and make air travel infinitely more enjoyable."

Contra: "Typical indifference at Lisbon where we were sent to the gate at expected time but there was no plane - it left 40 mins late. So we left an area with seating, toilets etc and stood for 90 mins waiting to board. They KNEW there was no plane - we saw it arrive AFTER our supposed takeoff time. They'll blame the airport info but it must be sorted. Everywhere, every time we come last. No more flying for us."
Pro: "The cabin crew seemed prepared enough to host redneck passengers and other species that often choose traveling low cost (of course)."
Contra: "I purchased priority boarding for nothing. There was no such thing at the gate. Boarding was chaotic."
Pro: "although the crew had to make an unscheduled flight, they were very nice"
Contra: "the airplane had a technical issue (they told us it had a flat tire during landing) but they didn't manage to change the wheel and we had more than 4 hours delay. We had to wait for another plane to land in Timisoara (from London) and they scheduled that plane to take us to Bucharest. They should be honest from the beginning instead of telling a lot of lies - it may avoid a lot of conflicts between passengers and crew."

Contra: "Firstly we were delayed for two and a half hours which caused us to arrive after midnight making it very hard to find transport home. The seats were very uncomfortable and wouldn't tilt back at all. We were hungry because we had waited for 2+ hours and we were not provided with any food onboard. Not a fun flight."
Pro: "Getting off of the plane."
Contra: "The boarding time was late as well as take off, when on the plane one of the hostesses was very rude, during take off she was in the back complaining so loud to her colleague about everything and anything, this made it difficult to get some rest as it was a late flight. Upon arrival into Stansted there was only one staircase and everyone had to disembark from the front making this an extremely long wait."
Pro: "The briefness of the flight"
Contra: "The plane smelled a bit musty and of urine- almost like that of an old folks home. The crew wasn't that pleasant either. Glad it was a short flight."
