Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Not sure we like the Dreamliner configuration and levels of comfort more than the 777 or Airbus offerings but it was fine."
Contra: "A couple on our flight decided it was OK to have their 4-year old run around the cabin shrieking and causing a lot of fuss. Most of us in the cabin complained but these parents were pathetically weak and elected to allow it to continue. No sleep... spoiled experience.. miserable flight in this respect. Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."

Pls ask ground catering to provide more non veg food The cabin temperature was close to freezing on the GOi-DOH international flight. Contra: "This was an older 777 -- no wifi -- pretty surprising on such a key flight at DOH-JFK! This is not the airline's fault but I had a crazy lady next to me who was very disoriented, who could not speak English and needed assistance. No one would deal with her! She had a little pouch with her name on it -- like a UM -- so someone knew something was not right when they put her on the flight. I bought drinks inside the terminal for this 14 hour flight but they were all confiscated at the additional security at the gate!! WTF"

When we boarded the flight in Baku, the Tbilisi passengers had moved seats, so there was a lot of confusion with the Baku-boarding passengers as they had to convince the Tbilisi passengers to move back to their assigned seats. This led to some delays and general annoyance amongst the Baku-boarding passengers."

Bathrooms onboard were a pigstie."

Contra: "5 minutes until boarding at JFK we were told to transfer gates; upon arriving by shuttle to the new gate, passengers were informed the aircraft was downsized and 20 people needed to be bumped. I volunteered since I had a flexible schedule so Delta re-issued me a ticket at 9am JFK for a 10am flight out of La Guardia. I trusted them I'd make it in time and they said they called taxis for us so we left to go catch them. Actually, no taxis were to be found so we had to call our own and were significantly delayed. I was in the first group of 5 people to be re-issued and arrive at La Guardia. Everyone else bolted but my new boarding pass didn't work and they actually didn't properly re-issue my ticket as I had been booked as leg 3 of my international flight from Malaysia. After they called three different departments including China they were able to print my ticket at 9:54am so I sprinted through the security and to my gate and was able to somehow make the flight as they were closing the door. However probably 14 or so of the original bumped passengers definitely didn't make it."

I was super excited to finally get upgraded! Then the plane had problems we were then again delayed and had to deplane. We were told this would be a 2 hour delay. I proceeded to try an get on the next flight at 8:20 while asking about a window seat the lady told me I would have to pay an additional $19! Well I had already paid $50. So the nice lady put me on that flight after I had already asked for window seat. She put me in the middle seat! I get that planes have problems and flights are delayed! There was so much bad yesterday then good and I feel like delta should know. It's more and more bad everytime I fly! Please fix these problems!"

I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Contra: "KLM crews look unhappy with their work. Everything they do is a favor not duty."

Pro: "The staff at the front desk for the check-in were extremely helpful. I had a complicated issue with my luggage and they helped me to sort it out in the best possible way. Amazing service! Furthermore, the entertainment on board is great! Nice movies, nice food, friendly flight attendants, etc. They even offered me a second sandwich =)! I truly loved my experience with KLM."

Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

We were the last to board and all very stressed out. The staff seemed not to care the least in our troubles."

Contra: "- Schiphol airport (AMS) is small, crowded, noisy; no water fountains; toilets are dirty and insufficient in number; SFO is much better - KLM boarding process was chaotic (not by group or row number), boarding/security personnel (4 old guys) didn't have a clue - 787 is noisy, chairs are uncomfortable (my back still hurts) and very close together, they also recline way too much - food trays not collected promptly - noisy babies on all flights - clearly not enough cabin crew for a full flight - no or wrong info by pilots on timing (crew are always lying anyway) - gate is all around the back at SFO (long taxi to get there) - they inserted people in wheelchairs during deboarding thus holding everybody up."

Entertaiment system contents are still great, but the screen is dim and outdated by today's standards. But I would just fill this as luck of the draw."

Contra: "The food was inedible--from the chopped RAW potatoes to the slimey, tiny bit of pale turkey. It must have left a foul taste for the crew, too, since they were cold and unwelcoming."

Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Seats were okay but no recline and underseat storage was small. (Backpack wouldn't fit underseat and had to be stored in overhead.) Passengers crowding from back of plane upon arrival made it hard to deplane and felt rude."

Contra: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Boarding was smooth. my second ride on A 380 in business and this trip reminded me quickly why I did not care for the A 380 on my previous trip. It is a huge plane with a huge sized business class which makes the cost less worth it compared to a Boeing. The crew were extremely helpful and caring. The food was acceptable. The seats on the plane were not comfortable in the lying position. Took a cab to our hotel in Paris (1st Arr) for a flat 50 euros. No meters."
Contra: "Arriving in CDG and facing a slow immigration with the passengers of this huge plane. I didn't care for the baggage delivery system. We were waiting for an hour only to realize that the arrival port for our luggage was changed."

Contra: "I upgraded at the airport to Executive class, which is really a bit of a scam to be honest. It’s just the first two rows of the plane and the middle seat kept free... the seats were no different to economy. Not worth the 109€ upgrade fee."

They will not let me have the second one. Who does that? How much sense is this supposed to have. I checked with others and they do not do that. Never again they will see me."

The landing was a bit rough with crosswinds."

Contra: "This event refers to my TAP flight from Lisbon to Heathrow on 21-Jan-2018. We arrived to the airport nearly 2 hours before departure time, waited 35min in the security checks and my girlfriend was held 20min in the passport control. While she was queuing for the 2no police officers to check her passport, an airport assistant came to the queue and asked who was due to board in TP364 to Heathrow. She was made aware that my girlfriend was there due to board that flight. In the meantime I made my way to the gate to make the gate assistants aware that she was held in the passport checks and was already on her way to the gate. Having said that, the zealous assistants in the gate have closed the gate in front of me, 18min before scheduled departure time and - "very kindly" - told me that I wouldn't be boarding that flight anymore even though my girlfriend have arrived in the meantime. One can imagine the frustration I felt finding out that the flight departure was delayed and that the flight actually departed 40min late. At that time I was already suffering the extortion of the customer service from TAP, claiming from me circa 400Eur from each of us for a one way ticket in the next flight to London. Therefore... until I remember this... I AM NOT FLYING TAP ANYMORE... I am very proud of being Portuguese but in similar situations that occurred with me flying British Airways, Lufthansa or Air Italia, I have always been treated with much more respect and customer care!"

I was in the bathroom 3x during the flight and I usually don't use the restroom more than once during any given flight. I didn't like that when asking for a drink of water, they only give a half full cup of room-temperature water. On an 8 hour flight, I get dehydrated and could drink 2 water bottles alone. I don't like to be a nuisance to the attendants so I only asked for water twice. I just wish they would provide small personal bottles per customer. I also have never flown on TAP before so I wasn't aware of anything like how to call an attendant using the touch-screen or even that watching movies was free. It should be said over the intercom at the beginning of the flight."

For the Dutch and their famous understanding of efficiency and staying ahead of the curve, this was both frustrating and not understandable. Not really TAP's fault..."
