The airport at Bucharest is a nightmare. Rude agents at the Delta partners desks and no directions for finding the correct place to go. Boarding at Amsterdam took over one and one half hours by the time we were sent through three security lines at the gate. No explanation for why we were herded through one line and then sent to another and then finally through another security procedure where they wiped us down for something. Atlanta was probably normal for there. All three legs of the flight were late but I did make it home after a very frustrating and exhausting 24 hours. At this moment I feel as if I will never go anywhere again,.
KLM flight sucks! Not very active about telling passengers to put in their mask over the nose. 🙄

Called HoJo and the same person I’d spoken to 20 mins prior said it was correct, that Rodeway was a sister property. The Rodeway Inn Metro Airport is pretty disgusting. This is my opinion after coming from remote Mexico and extensive travel in Africa. It should be torn down. Delta/HoJo should not send customers there."

Listening covid restrictions and following them is completely nonsense. Avoid touching others? How when plane is full and everybody who pass around touchs me. Keep distance?? How???? Avoid walking in the plane but also wash your hands regularly with soap and water? How? I should avoid walking but at the same time you want me to wash hand regularly? It means i have to walk up and down. What is regularly for you? Every 15mins? Every hour? Every day? It is so stupid what you are telling that my brain stops to work.

The flight delay was tiring but once we started boarding, that went smoothly and quickly. The plane was comfortable with loads of overhead space. Being a short flight, there was minimal interaction with the crew.
I very much liked the flight. I don't mind turbulence. But I did like the choice in seats the airlines gave me.
Boarding went fine, the plane was clean, and the crew was very friendly. Seats were a bit cramped, but that seems to be typical on all airlines anymore. Cookies and pretzels were offered as were beverages - the usual. I’d fly American again.

Contra: "It would have been nice to have more leg room. When the passenger in front of me put her seat back I was stuffed like a canned sardine. Luckily, the plane was not full so we were able to spread out a bit."
Pro: "Very rapid flight. Landed far before scheduled arrival(at least 25 minutes). Checked baggage was delivered before schedule arrival time. Crew was pleasant/helpful."
Contra: "Flight was changed from what was originally scheduled and purchased. I was informed of the change after the purchase before traveling. Thus I had 4 1/2 hours between flights."
Contra: "On arrival to Heathrow we sat on the tarmac for an hour and a half as apparently there was not enough staff to connect the plane to the gate.The computers to tell us where our connecting flights were, were down so they could not tell us which gate to go to. When we finally disembarked, I was not allowed to my gate despite it being in the same terminal and having 40 mins to go.I was directed to a BA desk to get another flight. After 15mins waiting here the staff were rude and announced they would be closing. I finally was directed to departures to be told the only option was the same time tomorrow. Terrible journey!"
Pro: "I love the fact that I was able to find a good price for the tickets...JUST THAO"
Contra: "The fact that the flight was delayed and they didn’t tell about it until 1.30-2 hours before leaving...and that because we pressured them other wise they wouldn’t even bother to announce us. So sorry you guys don’t have another rating UNDER POOR BECAUSE I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE IT TO YOU...."

Pro: "The flight overall was fine. Equipment was good, although one passenger was stuck in a toilet for a little while - they had to take the door off to let him out - that was an interesting distraction. In-flight entertainment was good. Boarding and disembarkation was quick and easy."
Contra: "The crew. Maybe it's because I'm neither young nor pretty. When they were giving out drinks I was missed - invisible I guess. And at a later point in the flight they managed to see me and I got a brusk "do you want something?""

Contra: "My inflight entertainment system was "flakey". The sound would go on and off. I could not hear the movie, most of the time. The flight attendant gave me a second set of ear phones, but clearly it was the unit of my seat that was broken or intermittently functioning. It made for a very long flight as it was daytime and I could not sleep with the passenger group so active. Ironically, on the BA flight over the book I was listening to on the entertainment system would stop and then now resume where it left off so I had al lot of trouble listening to that one, too. I am not a complainer and the crew was busy with the daily flight activities. I would not rank the over all enjoyment of this flight very highly as that is a long time to be bored. Unfortunately this was my first round trip to London with British Air and I have to say that it did not compare well to the several flights I have has on Virgin Atlantic. My travel mate made the reservations with BA when I had researched and selected VA. I think in the future I would go back to traveling on VA."

Contra: "Flight was delayed 2-3 times with no explanation. The food in the gate was trash . After boarding we waited on board for over a hour before take off , during which time someone was duct taping the inside of the plane together and I sat on a broken seat . The single flight attendant refused to take trash from people who didn’t finish their beverage . While the plane was reversing there was a huge bang and the plane shook as if we hit something . I observed gate agent repeatedly tell customers that she couldn’t help them find out if their flight was delayed and to just look at the computer board ."

Pro: "It was a direct flight from Athens to Toronto. The wine was ok and the food was good."
Contra: "The plane was two hours late taking off. The small bit of extra leg room and service do not justify the extra price paid. The crew were not as friendly as normal on Air Canada flights and made little attempt at extra service."
Contra: "Flights all evening were cancelled. I was just going for a weekend and they couldn't reschedule me until the following evening. I couldn't go on the trip because of these problems. I was in the airport for hours with two young children and they did not do much to help me reschedule quickly."
Pro: "I wish my INTERNATIONAL flight on Air Canada had been as nice as my flights within Canada and the US. The international flight had no screen to watch movies, etc. theis flight within Canada was very pleasant. The boarding delay was bad, but the flight was fine."
Contra: "Crowded space at Montreal airport and long delay.seemed chaotic"
Pro: "Pearson Airport puts the puddle jumper flights at the far, far, far end of the airport. That makes some sense."
Contra: "There's only one choice for refreshments, unless you count the cracker-amd-nuts machine. The seats are terrible. The assumption seems to be that no one waits long, but the experience proves the opposite, as wind, construction, security clearance for flight crews and who knows what else (any excuse will do) creates delays of more than an hour for people who end up standing along the walls and sitting on the floor waiting. Again, crews and ground staff for AC are not able to give accurate instructions or guidance for boarding flights. That airport is a mess."
Contra: "My Original flight was cancelled 3 hours prior to departure. Had to wait long lines at Air Canada customer service. Due to slowness of process, was not able to take other departing flights to other close airports. Had to stay the night at hotel."
Pro: "Good leg room in coach"

Pro: "Great seats. Awesome in flight entertainment - got to watch two movies I'd missed in theaters. The food was surprisingly good and the flight attendants were very helpful."

Pro: "Lufthansa was amazing food, entertainment, condition of plane, service, etc... Compared to Air Canada! We had a Aur Canada ticket but it was Lufthansa operated. However, Lufthansa comfort not as good as we were cramped in small seats and couldn't see out on the long daytime flight because the window passenger closed all the windows (it was like being cramped in a cardboard box for ten plus hours... Thank heavens for the great drinks, food, water, and entertainment."
Contra: "Small seats. Window shades down all day on a daytime flight."
Contra: "The way we were treated when we had to deplane because of mechanical problems. Air Canada spent little time looking for hotel rooms and told us if we can find one for ourselves they would be willing to give us up to$150 for the room if we saved our receipts. Where can you find a room in Phoenix for $150? You can't. The plane was suppose to leave 6:25pm . This was 9:00pm. No offer of food , drinks nothing. People were tired and hungry. Finally after a lot of complaining, that's when some us were given rooms they gave us vouchers for the hotels restaurant that was closed due to renovations. The agent was to,d this when they reserved the rooms but they lead us to believe there would be food there. We didn't get out until 2:00 pm the next day. And even that flight was late. I was exhausted when I finally reached my destination. I lost over a day of my vacation. I don't want to fly with Air Canada again!!!!!!!!!!"
Pro: "It was a short flight."
Contra: "Passengers over a certain size should get two seats or the airline should install special seats for them. Why I or anyone else should have to endure being crammed in next to someone exceeding his seat size is indefensible."
Contra: "On both outbound and inbound trips (connecting with international flights) the flight was late. Both times the door was closed and then they informed us of the delay. I understand that smaller planes often get bumped, but on the outbound leg, a 20 minute delay on the tarmac and then not allowing us to deplane for another 15 minutes meant I missed the connecting flight."
Pro: "Very pleasant flight crew and helpful. Always had a smile."
Contra: "The boarding process at the gate. There were 8 or 9 gates crammed into a small section of the airport. Literally packed in like cattle and getting to the gate for departure was a nightmare, people had to shove and push through the crowd. Not a good experience!"

Contra: "Absolute joke of an airline with zero customer service. I would never travel with them again and would recommend anyone else not too."
Contra: "Everything. I called air canada for three days straight and the lines are busy. I waited for over an hour and thirty minutes to speak to someone at their terminal and they couldn't help. Everything is delayed, they don't care about their customers. I would never fly again!"

Contra: "Flight attendants could be more aware of his/her surroundings. For example, I was either stepped on (as a result, being woken up) or my backpack was stepped on several times when an attendant was walking down the aisle, and neither of those things were sticking out into the aisle. This has rarely happened to me on trans-Pacific flights (more crowded, longer flights) so I can only attribute it to the carelessness of the attendants and/or the aisle width but since I think aisle width follows international standards it's more likely the former."
Contra: "Flight was delayed and they did not communicate ..."
Pro: "The stewards were very attentive and kind. My original seat was kind of squished and there were a few open seats on my flight. So a lovely stewards offered me another seat where I wouldn't be sandwiched between people."
Contra: "Having to pay for wifi onboard is silly."
Pro: "It left ontime and got me to where I needed to be."
Contra: "Pretzels are gross and dry. Jet Blue has much better snack choices. Overheard bins were really small on this small aircraft."
Contra: "Boarding was delayed an hour and half because the plane was having mechanical issues. That caused me to miss our connecting flight. The flight staff was rude and not helpful when I asked a question about my connecting flight. I had a family member who took a day off work and drove three hours from my home to pick me up from the airport. She also had to get a hotel room at her own expense because Air Canada's plane was not up to par. Not only was it an inconvenience to me but to my relative."
Contra: "Flight delayed more than 3.5 hours, first due to scheduling issues and then due to weather. Checked bags were left outside in pouring rain throughout delay, staff unable/unwilling to cover or move them. Not given food vouchers or any other compensation during wait, everything in the terminal closed before departure anyway. Gate changed 4 times, terminal was sweltering, like waiting in a greenhouse. Awful."
Pro: "We arrived on time, despite the delay in departure (caused by the necessity to off-load a no-show passenger's luggage)"
Contra: "I was given an long explanation why I could not have a whole can of coca cola to drink. I believe, when I spend over $1500, a free coke should be part of the deal. I am glad that I brought my own water, because the service was so limited. There was no entertainment system on board. I suppose the assumption is that everyone brings their won i-Pad."
Pro: "Nothing about the airline ."
Contra: "At the bwi airport they have to agent u can talk to except u have to wait when they are boarding a flight before u can see someone at the front desk . Lost my bag and even the airport police said it's a normal thing as they get complains every day . Called a million times and they still won't give me detail info. I classify them as the worst airline I've ever used in my 30th ears of travel and if they are the only airline on earth I rather never travel"
Pro: "The 787 is avery comfortable airlplane."
Pro: "As opposed to my flight from Tokyo to Toronto, the return leg from Toronto to Baltimore had only one exception, which was that the flight attendant was very nice."
Contra: "From boarding (everything was late, from departure to arrival), to how the baggage carousel announcement was wrong, and up to the bus that will take us back to the parking (all the other buses: Amtrak/Marc, Long Term A, Daily Parking, Express Parking came and went for about 4 times or more but none came for Long Term B, you can see all the frustration from the other waiting passengers, including us). A lot of improvements needed from BWI airport if they want to retain their customers."
Contra: "The flight attendants on this flight did NOT do their job. If they are there to ensure a safe environment for the people on board, they completely missed the boat. I was in row 45. Two families were on board with their 4 very young children. For the entire 8 hour flight, 3 of these children disrupted the entire section of the plane. They continuously played in the aisles, stood in the seats, kept their seat belts unbuckled, threw objects, and one blasted his iPad at maximum volume. When I asked one flight attendant to ask the family to get the child to lower the volume on his iPad (it was 4am; people were either using their ear buds, or had their screens turned off), they complied with the request for 30 minutes, then resumed at full throttle. I can honestly say, it was one of the worst flights I have ever experienced in 57 years."
Pro: "Crew very attending, helpful."
Contra: "The flight attendant call bell and the overhead lighting controls are on the touch-screen. However, there are also buttons on the arm rests. What a pain! I alone must have generated 3 or 4 flight attendant false alarms by leaning on the arm rest. Other passengers did the same. Lights were going on and off, bells chimed each time someone leaned on the buttons. How stupid an oversight. I hope the aircraft's great safety systems they talk about during the pre-flight briefing are better thought out!"
