Transit in Munich airport was terrible, staff is rude! Sitting on row 53 was bad the food was not enough.

Flight was overbooked. Food was awful. Seats in economy class are a torture: narrow, not enough leg room. The airplanes classes are like casts: rich, average and poor…That system is a shame. Pilots were Excellent !!! Thank you!!!!

Air Canada is by far the worst Airline on the face of this planet. Only delays and overbooked flight with very poor customer support. Avoid them at all cost!

Expected A320neo as per the booking, got a 28 years old A321. Still no food service. Not impressed at all this time by Lufthansa.

Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."

Poor communication from boarding staff, airport staff not a clue. Communication on board was un decipherable and airline lost baggage.

British Airways is significantly better."

Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Contra: "Too much of hassle checking in as the airlines partners with a couple of other airlines like Jet Airways, WestJet & Aircanada. The food was just okay and the cabin crew refused to serve extra butter. When you are serving extra bread, make sure you serve the butter as well. How could someone eat bread by itself?"

The check in is a disaster no one around to help you and it makes you not want to travel anymore.

LATE LATE LATE LATE

The mask policy is not enforced by the crew. Multiple people around us would not even wear the mask or have it on their chin. Flight attendants would walk past these people and not say anything. All they do is make overhead announcements about the masks being mandatory but they are terrible at enforcing the rules, very disappointing.

Arrived at terminal while plane was still boarding but was told I could not board cause it was the final two minutes. Horrible customer service. Asked them to please contact the gate and let them know I was enroute on foot. They refused."

Contra: "Right from the start, customer service was not compassionate in helping out. I was forced to leave my huge luggage behind in order to make it to the next available flight. In addition, American Airlines continued delaying their flight departure times like it was no big deal.. It was stressful for many passengers. This other woman and I had a second plane to get onto, and were worried that we wouldn’t be able to get to the next plane ride because the first plane ride was pushed back like around 10 times or so. This is my first experience with American Airlines, and absolutely do not have a good impression whatsoever. I do not support this airline because it is clear that they do not value their customer’s satisfaction, wellbeing, or schedules."
Pro: "Didn’t like anything"
Contra: "Old planes! Very old planes! No charging ports on board. No entertainment! Seats broken. for the largest carrier in the world as they say. Horrible! Three and a half hour delay missed my connection. Traveled for 16 hours on a flight that should have been 7 hours. HORRIBLE American Airlines."
Pro: "Crew was great, and flight was relatively on time."
Contra: "Itinerary I received was for British Airways, with whom I have always had excellent experiences. However, I discovered at check-in I would actually be traveling on American Airlines with a different flight no. I had already provided my BA flight numbers to family. No explanation was give to me prior to flight that this would be the case. Food was terrible- even for Coach class - I don't always expect a gourmet meal, but BA was consistently good in the past, so I had positive expectations. My personal entertainment system did not work properly so I could not use it."

Contra: "Although an email was received 3 hours before departure that everything was on schedule, we were told when checking in our whole itinerary had been changed to leave the next day. We had not been contacted and we missed our daughter’s professional basketball game in France. This was the reason we bought the tickets from Kayak to begin with. The cancellations were happening with British Airlines and they were not working with American Airlines to help us out to get to the game on time."

Contra: "It was very hot inside the plane and dificult to sleep No breakfast when we arrived in Brazil In Lima, after the flight from Miami, the period for the connection to Brazil was very short. At the airport, when I inquired about attention to get through the security line, the answered was that we have to ask for permission to pass before the passagens that was waiting in queue."

Contra: "Our original aircraft was taken out due to a mechanical issue. When we got our replacement aircraft, somehow we were missing a crew member. So after a one-hour delay for a new aircraft, we boarded, then sat at the gate for another hour and a half waiting for an additional flight officer. Missed my connecting flight from Chicago to Dayton and had to be put up in a hotel 30 minutes away from the airport."
Pro: "Immediately after I finished with the check in agent, two men flashed police badges, grabbed my bags, and took me to a sketchy back room upstairs and absolutely tore apart my bags. While my bags were being searched they peppered me with questions. It lasted about 20 minutes and it was extraordinaryly stressful because they didn't seem to care if I was going to miss my flight. Normally, i wouldn't blame the airline for this, but another lady who was similarly harassed said that when she asked someone they said that if you're traveling alone and booked online, you got flagged for this extra screening. (A young German man was also dragged to the back room... we were all very non-Andean looking). That is ridiculous criteria to prevent anything- terrorism or drug smuggling! I would think the airline/police could come up with better criteria. Also, there was no drug sniffing dog and they didn't even have me turn on my gigantic camera... which I have had to do in the past to demonstrate that it was functional. Horrible."
Contra: "Check in crew were awful. Told us that there was a sick passenger on the plane and asked if my friend and I would volunteer to take a flight out the next day, that star alliance would put us up in a hotel over night, pay for our evening meal and fly us business class in the morning, that all we had to do was wait at our departure gate And someone would call our name before boarding. We accepted, waited patiently, then we were scolded for having our checked bags with us and told multiple different conflicting stories about how we were to board our flight, that volunteers were no longer needed. I checked multiple times with check-in crew to confirm that the scenario was a go. They confirmed each time, so I canceled my accommodations for the evening in Lima. The change up at the gate left for a big mess to clean up. The gate crew kept arguing hat they never told us to cancel our Lima plans. But that was besides the point. The point was, they told us one thing, there was a major breakdown in communication among check in and gate crew as well as between all crew and me and no crew member took ownership or apologized for the flub up. And I'd like to point out, this was not a language barrier issue, all flight crew spoke English fluently. One crew member said all volunteers were obtained and they no longer needed us, another said that the sick person flying (the initial issue) was no longer flying, so no volunteers were needed. crew never owned that. they suggested that it was our issue that we canceled our plans. We were able to fix, but incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience."

Contra: "While boarding the plane an AA employee actually grabbed the 1/4 full gym bag out of my boyfriend's hands and said he had to check it (even though it had fit under his seat next to his backpack on our previous American Airlines flight). Boarded and saw there was still plenty of open overhead bin space. Had to wait 30 extra minutes at our destination to claim his unnecessarily checked bag. This is on top of poor customer service from the gate agents and a long delay on our outbound flight. Will not choose to fly American Airlines in the future"
Pro: "Either BA or American Airlines didn't know that We got switched by BA TO AN EARLIER FLIGHT TO JFK!. When we arrived in PIT we almost missed our flight to JFK. The American desk agent at check in had to walk us thru security because of this. OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE WAS OK."

Pro: "I really loved the process of boarding the flight. The flight attendants were very nice to all of the passengers including myself. The flight was really smooth where we left the airport on time and got to our destination early. The complimentary snacks were great as well."

The lady at the check in counter said they were weighing everyone’s at the gate so there was no way to get around it This however was a lie and they were not checking weight and people got on without having to pay the outrageous fee"

Pro: "There was a major problem with my booking and I went through almost 2 hours or stress thinking I would not be let on the flight. This has never happened with Kayak. But it was really bad. TAP insisted they could not book me on as Azores Airlines from Pinta Delgado to Toronto was not booked for me. I had to call bothe airlines. With no help from the desk. I finally got both to confirm and at the last minute was allowed on the flight. I chose this route to have a nice couple of days in Portugal and I will have. But the flight start was really upsetting."
Contra: "I like Kayak. But am very concerned about booking through in the future with this treatment."
Pro: "loved the pillow and the blanket and the movie options"
Pro: "Overall, the flight was good. Seats on the international flight could have been a bit more comfortable. Entertainment was available and satisfying. The meals were good. Crew was nice."

Contra: "Entertainment pretty bad. Boarding very disorganized, takes way to long, getting on and off. had to show Passport and boarding pass way too many times, inefficient. Seat was more spacious than going, but not much padding for long flight. No air control No safety demos"

Contra: "When TAP couldn’t get me to Lisbon in time to make my connection they added a flight to Madrid where I waited until 16:00 to fly to Seville. I talked to several TAP representatives and none were helpful or apologetic and they offered me nothing for the problems they caused. I missed my only day in Seville due to this. This trip turned out to be a disaster."

Contra: "I don't think I have ever rated any service negatively, but here's my first. TAP completely ruined my birthday trip that I have saved up for a long time for. DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THEM! I had a valid Schengen tourist visa issued by the Consulate of Portugal. At the time of visa issuance, the printer of the Consulate was not functioning, so part of the visa information was hand-written, but it was properly signed and stamped. The Consulate told me it's valid and said they have been doing so for ten years. The Consulate also said that they, not the airlines, have the sole authority to determine the validity of the visa. When I went to the airport to check in with TAP, TAP staff denied me boarding because they did not believe my visa was valid. I only learned later that this action was inconsistent with TAP's own internal policies. The staff at the kiosk told me that I could either ask for a refund or rebooking of the ticket. But when I called TAP the next day, I was told I could not get a refund even though they should not have denied me boarding. I called TAP many times and got a different answer each time. They simply refuse to compensate me for their own mistake. It's the most horrible travel experience I've ever had!"

Contra: "My wife and I arrived to the airport for our honeymoon extremely excited. We had been saving for our trip to Italy for months, and we were finally going to get things started. Everything fell apart when we went to check in and we were told that my wife couldn’t use her ticket because she had changed her last name. We were told that there was no way that the name on the ticket could be changed because of TSA regulations. Of course, we were also told that we could have changed the name had we purchased a more expensive ticket. In other words, we were lied to and told the issue was regulation, when really they wouldn’t help us because we couldn’t afford a more expensive ticket. The only help we were given was the pleasure of paying over $1,500 more to get my wife on the flight. I am in the process of trying to get this refunded, but as of now we have paid twice for my wife to fly, and neither ticket has been refunded. We may have accidentally broken a rule, but the only function that rule seems to have is to make us pay twice for the same seat. As of now, I would never fly this airline again, and I would warn everyone away from it. I will update this post if TAP does the right thing by two honeymooners."

Pro: "When boarding the fligh TP 209 on October 27 2017 I found that my seats that I paid for well in advance are taken by other pasengers an I am given a totally different and very bad seats. What did I paid for, after all. Why push people to buy seats and then do not provide. I did not get the service I paid for and will Be requesting my money back for the complete flight."
Contra: "The stuard I tried to discuss the matter did not even try to help, instead he only smiled in return and suggested to file a complaint. That was totally unaccepltable."
Contra: "My round trip ticket was purchased and in the confirmation it stated that it included one free checked bag. i also went online to reserve a window seat which cost 12.95. When I got to the airport I was told I had to pay 110 for my one checked bag as well as they had moved me to an aisle seat. Basically scammed me out of 122.95. I have complained with ygthe airline and if it is not resolved I will not be flying with them again."

Pro: "Lots of leg room at no extra charge. The planes are new and very clean. The attendants were friendly and helpful. Food was acceptable."
Contra: "TAP can't process global entry at Logan international airport yet."
Pro: "The service they provided us reminded us of how airlines used to treat their customers in the past. Meals were provided as was entertainment (there were individual tv screens for us to watch movies on) all for no additional cost to us. From the customer service to the services provided and the legroom on the flight -- everything was more than what we expected and we would consider flying TAP Portugal again."

The screen in the back of next seat row (my entertainment screen) does not have an adjustment making it difficult to view when the front passenger leans the back of his seat"
